Thanks for tagging me!

I actually have a deleted fanfic idea from 2 years ago called The Hamato System. The idea is that all the turtles, plus Lou Jitsu, are alters in a dissociative system inside Splinter's mind. They have amnesia and can't remember their past well. Until Lou becomes dormant and the turtle alters piece together what happened.

I left this as an idea and nothing else after learning that I am not a system myself. (I did some research and seeked professional help but nothing came up). I didn't think it right that I should be the one to write this story.

Thinking about it now, maybe I could rally up a team of systems to be sensitivity readers. It is my life goal of making movies and such with representation in them, even stuff that I'm not personally familiar with. It'd be a great way to practice working on a collaborative representation project. But for now, it remains pinned in the back of my mind until my schedule is freed up enough for it.

I hate it when people mix up Dr Delicate Touch and Dr Feelings or they ONLY use one or the other for all scenarios.

Dr Delicate Touch is a cold harsh reality check

Hi, I'm the son of a chef.

It really boils down to experience with particular recipes.

I make the best Manhattan cookies but shitty brownies. Baller guacamole but garbage salsa. Impeccable sandwiches but repulsive pancakes. Bomb ass spaghetti but burnt microwave macaroni.

Leo likes pizza and sandwiches, therefore he is most skilled in making them. But trying to make some toast for a mafia gang in a kitchen with no toaster and opting to use an open stove....yeah no ofc it's burnt.

The one thing Leo lacks is adaptability, which given his ninpo, is smth he should be better at.

Edit: I can make a whole essay post about how the differences in Leo and Mikey’s education in cooking drastically change the outcomes of skillset. If anyone would be interested-

A ramble about how bad I think Leo (ROTTMNT) would be at cooking is below the cut.

Can y'all imagine Leo trying to cook? I think Mikey would usually cook but when Mikey is sick or going out without his brothers, Leo and Raph would take turns cooking. And Raph would probably be ok at cooking but Leo would burn water. So imagine he's boiling eggs, right? And he cracks every single egg, even the ones he wasn't using. Then when he's putting salt in, he drops the whole salt shaker in the pot. So he's like "Eughh boy... ehh it'll be fine" and just shrugs. And then he spills a bunch of spices or something. And while he's cleaning it up, Raph or Donnie say something about how they can smell smoke, so then Leo turns around and sees the water on fire. Idk I just think he'd be bad at cooking.
