1　 ﹒　Dazai and Ranpo skipping work for something pointless is not uncommon one bit, it’s simply harder to come up with reasons to skip out on work when you feel like a kid!

2　 ﹒　Sitting at a desk and filling out reports for hours at a time is no fun, Dazai’s well aware of that! It’s much much easier to simply have Kunikida do it, and of course, if he regresses, Kunikida wouldn’t have the heart to be mad at him for it this time, right?

3　 ﹒　So, slipping out was easy! Of course people would suspect something, but that’s not his problem! And it doesn’t take much longer for him to bump into a colleague of his, yes yes, a super respectable detective, one with a pacifier in his hand, one who seems shocked to see him.

4　 ﹒　Wasn’t it Ranpo who said that everything’s… predictable.. or something? For once, this made little sense to Dazai, and it didn’t matter much to him anyway, he needed somewhere secure to hide out.

5　 ﹒　But! Before Dazai can leave, Ranpo stops him with a proposal, something about showing him to the store so they can get as much candy as they’d like. At first, Dazai’s hesitant, he’s not sure if he deserves candy in the first place, and he’s almost certain it’s beginning to bleed out onto the mask he’s put up, that hesitance that the Dazai everyone knows wouldn’t usually hold.

6　 ﹒　It doesn’t take much longer for Ranpo to assure him, even less for him to persuade the other that it will be fun.

7　 ﹒　However, once they take their first step outside, the cold air brushes against their faces, stinging their noses pink, and out comes Kunikida!

8　 ﹒　Beginning his lecture, it doesn’t take long for him to realize the difference in their personalities, just how timid Dazai seems, how grumpy Ranpo seems, it makes sense almost instantly.

9　 ﹒　Kunikida can’t be mad at babies, can he?

୨୧　𓂃 GENERAL HEADCANNONS

1　 ﹒　I fear baby regressor dazai & “big kid” ranpo resonates with me, ranpo would hold his hand everywhere all through the ADA.

2　 ﹒　Kunikida has definitelyyyy gotten mad at them before when he wasn’t aware they were regressed methinks, definitely led to him hugging them for an hour straight rubbing up and down their backs gently. Like that one Gordon Ramsey meme.

3　 ﹒　Kunikida keeps notes of all of their interests, how old they regress to, everything in his notebook, he would be such an attentive caregiver. You just gotta let him know! ( which those two fail to do time and time again )

4　 ﹒　Ranpo & Dazai are definitely puzzle lovers when they’re regressed, it always leaves Dazai impressed when Ranpo solves them super quickly.

doppo kunikida may be known as an idealist, short-tempered, by-the-book kind of guy but to you,, to you he was doppo, he was papa, he was home.

on this particularly grey yokohama weekday you found yourself in a place too big in a mindset far too small… so as you clung to every last ounce of your big headspace you navigated yourself straight towards the agency building.

the door opened louder then you’d liked and you’d managed to depart with your big headspace as soon as you saw him your partner,, your caregiver as he looked away from his work and towards the door.

it took everything in you not to run towards his desk, but that didn’t stop you from keeping up with a little skip- finally arriving at his desk you couldn’t help but fidget, almost forgetting to flash the signal you’d both agreed upon to signify you’d regressed.

kunikida’s gaze softened as he saw you, paying close a mind to your hands waiting patiently for the signal- upon its display he made eye contact with you saying

“hi my sweet thing, i’m so happy to see you!” he said softly using one of your pet names he knew would help you slip. “can you tell papa what brings you here angel?”

you shook your head, face getting hot and tears threatening to trickle within the second- but before they could doppo was scribbling something in his notebook and showing it to you.

it was a pacifier, the same ruby red as his ribbon.

graciously you accepted it, the comfort of the object subsiding the overwhelm that had come from his question.

doppo glanced between you and his desk when he proposed another question, this time even softer and gentle than the last.

“did you bring any of your little things with you love?” he asked as he began opening one of the drawers in his desk.

you shook your head, when you’d left for the agency it was too much to grab anything more then your headphones and stuffie, you showed him the items that had been tucked beneath your arm as his desk drawer revealed that would be more than enough.

a series of small fidgets, art supplies, picture and coloring books were all neatly organized with handwritten labels relating to their purpose or the people in the agency whom certain items belonged.

doppo gestured toward the drawer saying patiently “why don’t you pick out a thing or two to keep you busy while papa finishes up his paperwork,, does that sound alright love?”

you nod, though it’s not his undivided attention you’ll still be in his company, and it’s hard to resist a good coloring session.

doppo smiles as you walk to the other side of his desk and take a seat, carefully laying out the various items you’ll be using for todays masterpiece as your caregiver returns to work.

time passes quickly with periodic check-ins and doppo’s occasional “you’re doing such a good job little one!” and “i’m so proud of you angel” easing you through headspace.

before you know it doppo has shut his computer and is stretching his hand towards you. the sun making the agency floor almost glow- the two of you are the only ones still working.

“thank you love for waiting for me” he began “i know it took a while and you were so well behaved for me… shall we go home little one? i think there are some warm blankets waiting for us.”

and with that, you took his hand and began for the exit smiling behind the pacifier he’d gifted you- today was a good day.

My previous request also got me thinking about ADA caregivers in general… Kunikida and little Atsushi perhaps?

I love this! The ADA is really just like a big family… So sorry it took so long to get to this! Your comment about your “last request” probably seems irrelevant now- But it was the request for caregiver Fukuzawa and little Ranpo! I still remember!

✧₊⁺ I think at first these two were very incompatible. Atsushi is so nervous and scared of everything that he just does what he’s told, while Kunikida sets rules, expecting to just be told if there’s an issue. Atsushi would never dare speak up against a “superior”, so it just goes badly. Simple things like uncomfortable clothes, objects for the wrong headspace age. Or bigger, triggering things such as a time out. They have a bunch of issues at first, Kunikida not realizing what’s wrong

☆ However once Kunikida noticed he’s instantly on it! While Atsushi’s in a big headspace he sits down to have a talk, explaining that he’d like to be told when there’s an issue, explaining he isn’t mad. Then Kunikida asks for Atsushi’s opinion on everything! Which outfit feels better? Sippy cup or a bottle? And truthfully Atsushi is well behaved, he never really needs a time out, but on the rare occasion he does Kunikida would sit next to him and hold his hand, calmly explaining what Atsushi did wrong and offering up ways to better express his emotions or thoughts in the future

✧₊⁺ Atsushi is a very clingy little boy! He always wants to have contact with Kunikida in some way, preferably sitting in his lap! Atsushi is pretty happy to do whatever! Kunikida tries keeping things educational, giving Atsushi word searches or mazes to do. Color by numbers not just random coloring sheets. Puzzles or generally puzzle adjacent toys. Anything educational! And Atsushi is happy to comply! Sometimes he needs to ask for help… But the way Kunikida explains it without telling him the answer makes him so proud whenever he solves it! He loves the sense of accomplishment and the praise that follows!

☆ Pet names time! I think Kunikida uses pet names like “Darling” “Little One” or “Dear” very gentle feeling! These nicknames feel like, being wrapped in a pretty lacy baby blanket. I can’t explain it- I also think Atsushi is a kid regressor (4-6) so he’s able to talk pretty well! I think he’d call Kunikida “Kuni” or if he’s feeling a bit younger than usual maybe just “Da” hehe (I love characters that have Da in their name so I can make a baby call them that. Cough cough Dazai calling Odasaku Da cough cough-)

✧₊⁺ ANYWAY. I also think snack time is super important with these two! Atsushi has such a big appetite, and Kunikida is happy to provide! As long as Atsushi’s eating healthy. He’s very cautious with sweets or desserts of any kind, especially as it gets late enough they might interfere with sleep. Of course he still lets Atsushi have sweets! I think a go to snack would be like, rolled up pieces of ham? I know I had this as a kid and I was obsessed with it for literally no reason, it was not fancy, it didn’t taste great, but I thought it was the best thing in the world and therefore so does Atsushi

☆ Kunikida can be really loud sometimes, he just projects his voice a lot hehe. But sometimes Atsushi gets scared (ó﹏ò｡) He doesn’t like yelling… Luckily Kunikida is quick to notice! He’ll make his voice quieter and gently coo at Atsushi, assuring him that everything is perfectly fine. He’ll apologize for using his outside voice while he brushes his fingers through Atsushi’s hair gently. Luckily Atsushi is quick to forgive! He’s very quickly back to a happy baby in his caregivers arms!

✧₊⁺ Atsushi is a bitey baby! Kunikida will be holding the kiddo and working on some paperwork then all of a sudden he feels someone biting his arm. And Atsushi just looks up at him with those sweet innocent little eyes ૮₍˶ •. •⑅₎ა You can’t be mad at that right? Kunikida just grabs him a teether and then they’re good! No pacifiers, for two reasons! One, Atsushi regresses big enough that pacifiers feel too young. And two! He chews right through them. New pacifier? Yeah it’s broken within a week

🍉 . Fic Post . 🍉

This is a previously written fic! Right now I'm promoting my old fics just to let y'all know they exist.

🪭- A little Dazai fic! This is my first bsd agere fic I put out there, and I am pretty proud of it 🥺

🍄- This fic is inspired by the lovely Playrough's agency little fic! In which Dazai has a nap time set up for him by the agency since he tends to get cranky and fussy without sleep, but a meeting ends up making him miss it for the day. What Dazai didn't expect is how used to the naps his body had gotten.

🥀- Dazai is really small in all of my upcoming fics and this one, not even one year when he's regressed. Kunikida and Chuuya are co-caregivers to Dazai and it is mentioned how Dazai doesn't particularly like the concept of being little. This fic is pure fluff, a tiny bit of stress comes from the baby but not enough to be considered angst. It's a nice story to fall asleep to :)

Ever since Kunikida and the Agency have found out about Dazai's regression, they've been pushing nap times. Something about him getting "Cranky, tired, and less productive" after a certain time in the day

Dazai kicked his legs under the table, trying to stay focused. There had been an important joint Mafia and Agency meeting today, which just so happened to fall at an inconvenient time.

...Stupid, he knows. Besides, Dazai is never productive so what difference would it make?!

These naps normally happen late at lunch. It's not like he could just slip out of the Agency to go home early, either! To ensure he got this nap in every day the Agency and the stupid slug, decided to pair up for this.

If he tried to escape and head home, Chuuya's stupid camera door sensor would catch it. Of course that was set up for him...the slug can't mind his business! He didn't even do anything before it was set up, the executive just assumed he would try! Rude...

And so, the little one had to accept that he would be caught either way. It was either walking around in the stuffy outdoors for the rest of the day every single day or taking a nap. His pride said the first option, but it's obvious what the best choice was.

'But Dazai, you're a genius! Why didn't you just deactivate the system or use another entrance?' Well, it's pretty hard to think clearly enough to sneakily turn off a system when you're admittedly very fuzzy and droopy.

From working so hard of course. Nothing else, totally.

He doesn't need an assigned nap! Not to mention, a person to watch over him. He knows when he needs to take a break... Totally. This is why in the first place he didn't want the agency to figure it out, but that all went down the drain...

Have they been nothing but accepting of him? Yes, that's the issue! They shouldn't be condoning this behavior, let alone enforcing it! Dazai doesn't deserve to act like a literal baby, "A healthy coping mechanism" be damned. He doesn't need one of those either.

Protesting that mindset to them only made it worse, however. That doesn't mean he wouldn't still attempt to be bratty and refuse, but it gets hard when all you feel is comfort and security in a Member's (or Chu's) arms.

How these naps played out was always the same. He would get fed a bottle of warm milk about 30 minutes before his nap, fed because he got the privilege of being able to feed himself taken away...

He only dropped it on his head like, once! It doesn't matter if it caused him to start crying, he can still do it like anyone else can feed themselves! He shouldn't have started crying anyway, it was a tiny little bump. God, why did little him have to be so sensitive?

When it was time for the nap, there were two main locations. With anyone besides Kunikida, Chuuya, Yosano, or Fukuzawa he was to be laid down on the couch smothered in blankets.

But when Kunikida had a chance, he would always volunteer to watch him first. It's like he has some attachment, the idealistic man always looks anxious when he's away from the embarrassing baby side.

With Kunikida, he was either laid on a tiny futon that was unrolled from the closet next to Kunikida's desk but rarely. Most of the time he's on someone's lap being rocked to sleep since motion puts him out like a light.

Others that were offered were Atsushi, Ranpo, Naomi, Junichiro, and with supervision of another adult, Kenji. However, with Ranpo and Atsushi, it gets... Complicated.

Atsushi and Ranpo are also little, but they are at least big kids! Most of the time, at least. They don't need naps or bottles, but they are also set off easily in the presence of another little.

That was learned the hard way when Kunikida ended up with 3 giggly and squeamish littles after coming back from break. From that day on all three of them couldn't be alone caring together, unless there was time for some sort of play date after nap time.

Dazai would rather live than have to regress more times than needed, so he's never had a play date with the two, though he's heard they do it decently often.

And of course, there was Chuuya. Sometimes, when he was free during lunch break he would come to pick Dazai up for his nap. Normally he'd get taken home, but occasionally he was taken to Chu's office where he got to sit on the rolly chairs!

However he always preferred going home because of the risk of someone walking into him, the genius Dazai Osamu...giggling as Chuuya Nakahara bounces him on his lap or gently spins the rolling chair around. Yea no.

Originally the nap thing was set to every other day, or just not required every day. Dazai ruined that for himself though very easily. Once he had gotten used to the napping, apparently his body went 'oo! Time for sleep!!!? ;?! ' around the scheduled time automatically now.

He ended up struggling to stay awake as he did work with Kunikida one day and got nothing done, per usual. Dazai eventually drifted off on his shoulder from the exhaust, not very grown-ass 22-year-old of him.

But back to the current situation, it's the dreaded nap time. Well, way past nap time. Currently, there is a meeting going on between the Agency and the port mafia, that's all fine. The fine part was that the meeting had gone at least an hour off schedule.

It was planned so as not to bump into the time he gets put down, but stupid Mori couldn't agree on the originally proposed terms, so now they've been stuck!

Another thing is that Dazai hadn't quite realized how his body had gotten used to the nap times. Now that's come to bite him in the ass because he can't stop rubbing his eyes and yawning.

Cg Kunikida Doppo headcanons!

☆I think he would spend a lot of time researching what age regression is so he can be the best caregiver! He would have a whole notebook dedicated to things he learns about age regression from you and just from the internet!

☆He would try his best to keep a schedule up, but it doesn't always go to plan. He would have like, planned playtimes and naptimes for you but sometimes he would be forced to go off schedule

☆I think at the beginning he would be hesitate to call you nicknames incase you do like it, but the more he cares for you the more he uses nicknames. He likes the classic ones like 'baby' and 'darling' but would also use some like 'muffin', 'cupcake', and 'Puddin' (he is southern in my heart <3)

☆He would have a giant collection of coloring pages and worksheet! He would call them paperwork so you can feel included when he does his actual paperwork!

☆I feel like he would have a specific drawer at his desk for your little gear! Like extra toys, crayons and markers, and really small coloring books!

☆I think he would read bedtime storys to you, or just have storytime at some point during the day

Kunikida is my favorite fictional Cg! I find him so comforting so I thought I'd share some of my headcanons for him!

Cg Dazai/Little Kunikida

Kunikida had been overworking himself for a while now, and Dazai was becoming increasingly worried about him. He knew Kunikida had also been putting off regressing, which was definitely affecting Kunikida negatively. Even though he was doing so much work, the majority of it was really quite sloppily done and had to be redone by someone else.

Dazai was going to help Kunikida. He knew that regressing would help him a lot, so he planned a 'Little Day' for Kunikida, which was going to be a surprise. Kunikida was the type of little who was always busy, whether that be coloring, drawing, or something else, so Dazai searched for coloring pages, word searches, counting worksheets and a whole bunch of other fun activitys for a little to do, printed them and added some blank paper to the pile as well for if Kunikida wanted to draw instead.

Dazai set up the apartment, laying blankets and pillows on the ground in the living room, along with the activity pages, khokis, pencils, and crayons. There were also building blocks in the corner, just in case Kunikida would be feeling too small to do the more complicated worksheets, or if he just wanted to play with them. He also got a sippy cup and filled it with apple juice, as well as made Mac 'n Cheese, which he would pop in the microwave later if by the time Kunikida arrived, it was cold. Everything was set, and now Dazai just had to wait for Kunikida to get there.

When Kunikida finally arrived, he saw all the things that he loved when he was regressed and regressed right on the spot, the regression he had been trying to avoid finally taking over. "Dada?" He called, Dazai heard him and immediately came around the corner to greet him. "Hi, baby. I've set up some fun activities for you. What would you like to do first? Dazai asked, giving Kunikida his Mac 'n Cheese.

"Cowour?" Kunikida requested, pointing at a coloring page of a puppy. "Alright, hun." Dazai got the page as well as some coloring supplies for Kunikida and layed them on a flat surface. Kunikida happily sat down on the blanket, shifting so he was on his tummy, kicking his feet in the air and started to colour. He was coloring in the puppy, and he made its nose green, its face and right ear yellow, its left ear orange, its eyes blue, and the rest of it purple. He was very proud of it and showed it off to Dazai before hurrying away again and selecting a word search from the pile to do.

After a while, he had found five of the eight words, but three of them were still missing. "Dada!" He called. "What do you need, baby?" Dazai asked as he sat besides Kunikida. "Can't find da words." Kunikida complained. "Alright. I can help if you want?" Kunikida nodded his head. " Okay. Two of the words start with an E, so maybe look at all the Es and see if the next letter of one of the words is next to it." Dazai suggested. Kunikida tried that, and soon all three words were found. He did a spot-the-difference work sheet as well as a counting one, finished his juice and Mac 'n Cheese, got ready for bed, and as soon as Dazai tucked him into bed, he was out like a light, fast asleep.

I LOVE IT. I definitely think they started off with Ranpo just off to the side making funny faces at Dazai and telling Kunikida what he’s doing wrong. I think Ranpo refuses to actually help until Kunikida outright asks for it (He’s got a bit of an ego). I think that fruit is definitely the winning healthy food! But Ranpo’s able to gauge why the baby doesn’t want things. For example if he’s refusing foods he usually likes? There’s a good chance he’s just feeling so tiny any solid food wouldn’t go over well. Or if something is presented in large servings he gets overwhelmed

I think rules and punishments are another huge thing they disagree on! Kunikida is strict on rules and schedule and Ranpo points out that that’s gonna make Dazai feel trapped and like he had no control over his situation, he suggests giving everything the same amount of time, just let Dazai pick the order they do things in! Also I think Dazai struggles to fall asleep so Ranpo immediately shuts down the idea of a bedtime because it just makes Dazai feel bad when he can’t actually fall asleep at that time. Ranpo is absolutely horrified when he sees Kunikida put Dazai in timeout, facing a wall, with no comfort items? Dazai struggles with feeling alone you can’t do that… So he spins the chair around so Dazai can see them and lets Dazai pick one comfort item! (Pacifier or blanket, no toys) Dazai can’t all and can’t get up, but he can see he isn’t alone

HELLO HELLO. I’m currently imagining Kunikida being Dazai’s caregiver and Ranpo just being there and nonchalantly being like “You’re doing that wrong” “You’re gonna upset him” “That’s not what he needs” Because Kunikida acts like he’s straight out of a parenting book

🐟🔍Dual-caregivers Kunikida and Ranpo for little Dazai 📖🐟

Kunikida and Ranpo agree on a couple of things I think! The baby always needs his nap, and a snack while he’s little (so he might actually eat something for the day)

BUT you’re so right Kunikida would turn to like. Parenting books and forums for advice, and Ranpo would sit there in disbelief as Kunikida literally opens a book to see how he should deal with xyz.

I think Ranpo would just kind of take over the situation if he knew what to do. Baby is overstimulated? Headphones. Understimulated? Some toys that make noise (like a kitty cat keyboard ^^!) Kunikida appreciates it of course, but it can kind of make him feel like he’s in a ‘back-seat’ position when it comes to Dazai’s care.

Kunikida wants to make super duper sure his little one is healthy, which means yucky vegetables sometimes. Ranpo doesn’t really see the point, this is supposed to be fun for Dazai, right? Relaxing? Why make him eat something he doesn’t like (it’s the texture of the carrots he’s discovered, when they’re cooked they’re too mushy), when this is supposed to be feel good time for him? He takes the hit to his taste buds and eats the carrots for Dazai, replacing it with another safe food of the baby’s (goldfish crackers…).

Kunikida notices, duh, and he’s like: “…if you want carrots I can make you some too?” And Ranpo mentally facepalms and goes, “No he doesn’t like them so I ate them for him. The texture freaks him out.”

And Kunikida frowns because he doesn’t want the baby to be uncomfortable, but he also knows nutrition is important. Him and Ranpo come to a compromise, finding fruits and veggies the baby does like (mango is a big win), and also some of his safe foods.

I think Ranpo would take on a more casual role in caring (plays with baby, 'Don't tell your Papa' is a common phrase when he gives Dazai sweets when he's not supposed to,) and Kunikida takes a more by-the-book approach (naps, maybe setting rules if he sees fit (like in play-rough's AU!! Nothing too restrictive, only for his safety,) making sure he gets all the nutrition he needs.)

I think because they have such different approaches to caring, it works well! I think they'd make a great power team when it comes to taking care of the little one.

When they first started working together (President assigned, Kunikida needed some extra help, whatever you'd like to imagine,) I think it would have been a lot like "You're doing that wrong," "he'll hate that shirt," as Ranpo sat to the side sipping on a juice box, but I think as he got more comfortable caring for someone he'd just be more hands on and fix it!! (And let Kunikida know what was wrong for later)

BEAST!akutagawa would be a pretty solid cook, i imagine oda or kunikida would show him some recipes if need be but he's a fast learner when it comes to making a good meal ... BEAST!atsushi would have a little more trouble with it 😅 kyouka probably cooks for the two of them anyway

I can see this!! Beast Akutagawa is surely a little more well adjusted than canon Akutagawa is, I can see him having learnt some cooking from Oda or Kunikida. In my mind he also frequently visits Oda's orphans, and their other caregiver is a restaurant owner and chef; additionally, let's say he spends time cooking with Kousuke (“The boy is a very good cook, [...] Being a chef suits him far more than fighting crime.”, Beast, p. 74). So it makes sense he'll be at least a little acquainted with cooking.

And I agree, for sure, Beast Atsushi didn't get many chances to cook at least up to the point the story ends on (╥﹏╥) I think he cooked a little at the orphanage– we know at least in canon he did, with his “How sweet it was // the chazuke I made for myself in the sly on the orphanage's kitchen.” (bsd manga, ch. 1). Then again, it's likely he never cooked again after joining the pm, and I wouldn't be surprised if chazuke was the *only* thing he knows how to cook. But hey! Now he has all the time to heal and learn! I have hope for what the future holds for him (ㅅ´ ˘ )

1　 ﹒　Despising pain so much is quite a struggle when your brain has so much hatred towards yourself it begins to physically hurt, they say that once you grow hungry enough, you begin to eat your own heart. Dazai doesn’t have one of those, last he checked. So instead, his body begins to sacrifice his mindset for one of a much, much younger person.

It’s scary, even scarier when your anxiety is running rampant and rapid, coursing through your veins at an all time high. Vulnerability shouldn’t be such a scary thing, but when your most memorable experience with such is having your arms sliced open on a vivisection table, and tubes shoved down your throat, you begin to despise letting people see you as so.. small.

It’s even worse when you mentally feel so little, and the world around you begins to look like tall, scary faces, watching your every move.

2　 ﹒　Being oh so used to tainting all that he touches is rather tough, I feel as if he’s broken a pacifier before and had an absolute panic attack, god forbid someone allows him to hold a cup whilst he’s somewhat fuzzy, things will begin to blur the lines between sitting in Mori’s office, and being right in front of his caregiver.

3　 ﹒　When he betrayed the Port Mafia, he lost Chuuya. I wouldn’t entirely say that Chuuya was his “caregiver”, due to their oh so complicated relationship, but I would say that Chuuya was the closest thing he’s ever had to one. They’re both rotten, but that doesn’t entirely matter when you feel so sweet next to one another.

Whenever Dazai would begin to wish for him by his side, he would grow so much self hatred, how could he want something? How could he ever allow himself that treat of comfort, when he’s done nothing but be an awful, awful human being(? Is he even that, anymore?) towards both himself, and everyone around him.

He’s been biting and snapping at others for so long, that he’s begun to forget he, too, was bitten himself. That sorrow that taints him is a product of another person, who cherished him, yet only for his inability to feel cherished, and understand emotions in the first place, for that matter.

4　 ﹒　After time, if he ever began to feel even a little more comfortable in that state, he would begin to have extreme night terrors of his regression. He would begin to despise it, anything that brings him comfort should be banished, after-all. If he had a specific love for a certain toy or drink or stuffie, he would cry himself to sleep in a corner without it, all in punishment for existing in the first place.

If whatever god is out there created Dazai with the purpose of making a self loathing success of a black hole, destined to be hungry for love whilst tainting those around him, for all of eternity, they certainly are a master in their field.

I hope this is okay.. I sort of think Dazai would be on the older side, whereas Sanji would just be itty bitty. I'M JUST GONNA.. Babble about what I think they're interactions would he like. They're so cute..

Dazai would also ABSOLUTELY show Sanji cat videos. They'd spend just hours scrolling through YouTube and Dazai letting Sanji just go at it with kitty videos..

They'd probably bond over the fishiness, (Dazai the mackerel and Sanji with the all blue..)

Sanji would probably try and cook for him, because even if he's small he can't help but want others to be happy and fed.

Dazai would be the customer and Sanji would cook food for him (in his fake kitchen playset of course because OBVIOUSLY Nami has spoiled that boy to the moon and back) and Dazai puts on a whole show of eating the food.

Very dramatic, and eager to entertain those who are littler than him. (Though sometimes he gets itty bitty too and him and Sanji are tiny together!)

I'd like to think their caregivers (in my head Kuni is Dazai's caregiver, and Luffy is Sanji's) would get along to an extent.. But when you take into consideration Luffy's over the top nature and Kunikida's need for organization they might clash a little!!

But they'd still get along I think, because Luffy is good at getting people on his side!!

doppo kunikida is known for being a man of many words, so when it comes to pet names he works with those in his care to find one that’s suitable for him as the carer and the regressor- he makes it fun by making a game out of it, perhaps making a chart of possible names and giving the regressor stickers to express which ones they like/don’t… of course in the hands of certain small ones the stickers go everywhere but the sticker sheet… but in the end all parties involved have given lots of giggles and lots of thought to the terms of endearment they have chosen!

I love this idea! Kunikida and Dazai are such polar opposites… So of course I’ll make them work together!

₊ ⊹ I think that Dazai and Kunikida would have totally different caregiving approaches. Dazai is very much a firm supporter of “It’s to help get relax, so just let her have fun!” While Kunikida has the mindset of “This is a normal part of her life so it should be structured just as anything else would be” Kyouka doesn’t really mind either way. She likes both of her caregivers! Little baby is just happy to be taken care of!

✧₊⁺ Kyouka regresses pretty young, but she’s pretty self sufficient from someone who regresses to 3 at the oldest! Of course she loves to be held and get affection. But for her it’s not a necessity, not constantly at least. She’s content to just sit down on the floor with some crayons and paper! She has notebooks filled with her drawings! A lot of the drawings are bunnies hehe. They’re so soft and cute!

₊ ⊹ Kyouka likes collecting stuffed animals, she especially likes it when Dazai wins her one from a claw machine! Kunikida doesn’t much appreciate needing to fund Dazai’s millions of attempts, but the precious smile from Kyouka always makes it worth it. Kyouka has at times denied Kunikida’s money, not wanting to force him. But most of the time she just sort of lets Dazai work his magic

���₊⁺ Anytime they see a claw machine in public Dazai will not-so-subtly check the prizes inside of it. If he sees anything remotely bunny related he’ll gasp loudly and point it out to Kyouka. At first Dazai tries with his own money! Just enough to get Kyouka hooked, she’ll hide behind Kunikida’s arm, subtly watching Dazai fail miserably. But then when he inevitably runs out of money it’s either Kunikida’s money or they go home empty handed… Kunikida of course gives in looking at Kyouka’s hopeful face!

₊ ⊹ Kyouka is the kind of baby that likes some nice traditional milk! Juice is nice sure, it’s not like she gets hyper or anything. But milk is just so soothing. Strawberry milk is really good too! She doesn’t like chocolate milk much though, she always hears Kunikida muttering about how it’s too much sugar. She doesn’t need the extra sugar if she’s perfectly happy with her normal milk. But she does like the occasional treat of Dazai slipping her some chocolate milk!

✧₊⁺ Kyouka loves her sweet treats! Crepes of course, but that can get messy. She usually only gets crepes when Dazai is taking care of her (She doesn’t know who’s money they’re using but she knows it isn’t Dazai’s). Most of the time she prefers bite size finger food! Mochi is a lovely example! Nice fruity and sweet, but much less messy and smaller quantities means less sugar! Kunikida monitors of course, making sure she doesn’t eat too much

₊ ⊹ Dazai is the fun caregiver! Sometimes he’s a bit overwhelming for Kyouka, she’s just a baby after all (,,>﹏<,,) But Dazai is still really fun! He’s the one who sneaks her special treats and encourages her to do whatever her little heart desires! Dazai will use pet names like “Bunny” “Darling” and “Princess” He’s so silly! But Dazai can calm down and be serious when he needs to! They were both in the mafia after all, he understands what she’s been through better than anyone else can

✧₊⁺ Kunikida is a much calmer presence! But he’s also stricter. He’ll encourage things like nap time, restrict sweets, but Kyouka’s isn’t one to get upset! She knows Kunikida is just taking care of her, and she appreciates it! I think Kunikida would use pet names like “Little One” “Baby” or “Hun” classics for the most part! Typical Kunikida fashion of doing everything by the book. And the pet names just make Kyouka feel so unbelievably small and happy!

₊ ⊹ Despite their disagreements Kyouka’s caregivers work seamlessly together! Dazai will hold and watch her most of the time while Kunikida works, then whenever Kunikida isn’t working he’ll happily take over! Dazai is put on bottle and general clean up duty while Kyouka and Kunikida snuggle up! (They look adorable snuggled up on a couch, just like a dad coming home from a tiring day of work to get to hold his baby)

Notes: I ACCIDENTLY POSTED THIS WHEN I HADN'T FINISHED IT YET :( anyway, I don't understand bsd characterization yet.. So if Dazai seems reallyy ooc I'm sorry :[ This is centered around reader or you~ But if you want him for actual characters feel free to send an ask and request :D

- Dazai is a very excited caregiver, he likes taking care of you and he isn't afraid to show it! He's very affectionate- Hand holding, kissing your forehead, holding you close. Lots of hugs!! And I mean lots.

- But Dazai is also secretly, very overprotective. He keeps you safe in ways you wouldn't notice unless you looked closely, but you are much too small for that !! So let Dazai cuddle you instead of walking near that alleyway- "Oh- Nope! No going over there~ It's cuddle time!!"

- Speaking of him being secretly overprotective, he's so silly that you won't notice him glaring at anybody who comes a bit too close for his liking!! If he even hears of port mafia members walking near the place you two are headed (because he obviously can sense Chuuya coming a mile away) he will switch walking routes instead of doing his thing where he purposefully walks down that road.

- He will probably baby you even when you're big, which means it's impossible to ignore your regression with him.. And you better not try. You're too busy? Not anymore!! You wanna focus on a project? Uh.. Nope!~ You can't regress? That's alright! Just let him wrap you in a blanket, give you a paci and watch your favorite cartoons together.

- Dazai uses you as an excuse alot to get out of doing paperwork- Kunikida is yelling at him and Dazai is just pouting, "My baby needs me! I can't stay here when my precious baby needs help-" and the thing you need help with is changing your cartoons, somehow it takes three hours before Dazai comes back to do paperwork.. But oh! Atsushi finished it already sooo-

- Dazai coos at you. Constantly. 24/7. You will literally breathe and Dazai is dying from how adorable you are, People know to avoid the room where you can hear the high pitched- "Awh you are such a cutie!!!- oh you need help? Ofcourse- AWHHH~~~"

- In the agency, no one cares you regress. However.. Kunikida IS TIRED OF DAZAI AVOIDING HIS PAPERWORK. So after a bit, they build you a little area near Dazai's desk where you can play.. Now he can't LEAVE. BECAUSE YOU ARE HERE- *Ahem.* anyway.

- But!. If you don't want others to know you age regress, or more specifically the agency- Then Dazai will keep it a secret! He's good at excuses, and very good at knowing when you are regressed or slightly drifting near your headspace. So if you guys are in a important meeting but you're starting to regress, Dazai literally does not care. Man will just pick you up and go "Okay cool, we are gonna leave now :D" just up and leaves with you in his arms.

- Dazai doesn't seem like much of a cook, and he isn't, but he can make the basics. You know those mom's who cut their children's lunch into shapes? Dazai does that. If you are older when regressed, he will make your food into funny shapes and HE LOVES IT. You caused him to start following millions of mom's just so he can keep getting new shapes and ideas.

- Dazai is SO into doing funny voices when you two play together, just hand him a stuffie you want him to play and he's already going into a voice and acting out things.. No matter how dramatic. And no, he isn't embarrassed about getting caught. He'll just drag whoever caught you two into it, so congrats! You'll have another playing buddy!

- If you prefer coloring, he's happy to color right with you! He started using the agency's printer to print out coloring sheets for you, (It also gets on Kunikida's nerves, I mean he loves you too! Thinks you are adorable, but seriously- please Dazai the printer is for agency matters-) and will happily buy you whatever materials you need.. Including finger paint. He's so supportive when you're messy. "All the great artists have caused messes!!" He reassures you.

- But if you are a smaller regressor, or maybe a more calm/sleepy one, he's good at being just quiet enough but still excited enough. If you are tired, he'll carry you. It's comforting to have you rest your head against his chest while he walks around, it's nice to know you are close.

- It's even cuter if when tired, you talk or do sleepy babbles because Dazai literally just nods quietly and goes "Mhmm... Oh really? Wow!" He's trying to stay as quiet as he can, but internally he's cooing :( look at his sweet baby, so sleepy.

- Dazai loves being called 'Dada', I mean, he loves whatever his baby will call him but dada makes him feel all warm inside because yes!!! He is your dada!! It makes him feel even more happy about being able to take care of you.

- Calls you 'His little star' or the most common 'his baby', Usually adds 'his' instead of just baby. A bit possessive, but he adores you too much for someone else to take care of you. "My little star, how about we cuddle and go to sleep together hm? Dada is so tiredd~"
