Okay, Okay I cannot wait so I'm posting it right now. So here is my Treasure Planet sona so expect to see her a lot here. I tried to draw her in a more Disney like style but eh, somehow it's hard for me. I almost have her and Silver's full story in my head, and oh boy it is tragic. Also fun fact: The planet she is from, Ranun, was named after the word Ranunculus which means buttercup, so that's where her name comes from! (damn I'm so creative) Anyways hope you guys like her<3

Battle of Chippawa
The Battle of Chippawa (5 July 1814) was a major battle in the War of 1812, in which a US army proved its newfound discipline by defeating British regulars during the Americans' third attempted invasion of the Niagara Peninsula. Though the battle resulted in a US victory, the ensuing Battle of Lundy's Lane ended in a stalemate, dooming the invasion.
Battle of Chippawa

Background: The Last Invasion of Niagara
By the end of spring 1814, it was becoming clear that the chances for the United States to conquer Canada were slipping away. In Europe, French Emperor Napoleon I had finally been defeated and exiled to the island of Elba, freeing up thousands of veteran British soldiers to be sent across the Atlantic to fight the Americans. The British, previously outnumbered in North America, had been forced to stay on the defensive in the last two years of fighting; now, with this influx of battle-hardened reinforcements, they could easily drive down into New York, or even open up new frontiers anywhere else along the United States' vulnerable coastline. It was essential, therefore, for the Americans to make one last effort to establish a foothold in Canada, to give them any small advantage for when the British troops arrived. A successful invasion of Canada would, moreover, give the Americans a bargaining chip for the peace negotiations, which were soon to be underway in Europe, in the Flemish town of Ghent.
Command of the American army stationed at Buffalo, New York, was given to Major General Jacob Brown, the latest in a long string of luckless American generals ordered to cross the Canadian border. Brown's own orders, coming straight from the pen of Secretary of War John Armstrong Jr., had been quite casual in tone: "To give…immediate occupation to your troops, and to prevent their blood from stagnating, why not take Fort Erie?" (quoted in Berton, 702). The capture of Fort Erie would indeed give the Americans a strong toehold on the Niagara Peninsula, which could be used as a base of operations for subduing the surrounding lands. Brown, deciding that such a campaign had the opportunity to restore honor for the US Army if nothing else, began planning the invasion. Since his troops were ragged and undisciplined, he ordered one of his subordinates, Brigadier General Winfield Scott, to whip them into shape in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
At only 28 years old, Scott was perhaps the most up-and-coming officer in the US Army. Broad-shouldered, muscular, and towering over his fellow officers at a height of six-foot-five (195 cm), Scott was already well-known for his exploits in previous battles and was revered as a brilliant disciplinarian and tactician. Indeed, Scott's baggage wagon was bursting with military treatises and biographies of generals, which he could quote at length from memory; one of these works was the 1791 manual that had been used to drill the French Revolutionary Army, which Scott now employed to turn his ragtag volunteers into true soldiers. Under Scott's supervision, the American soldiers at Buffalo underwent daily drills that lasted anywhere between seven and ten hours; one captain wrote with astonishment that "General Scott drills and damns, drills and damns, drills and damns, and drills again" (quoted in Taylor, 383). Parades and inspections were conducted weekly, with Scott regulating every small detail from the contents of a soldier's knapsack to the angle of his arm while saluting. Scott worked to increase the health and morale of his soldiers, making sure that they always had access to fresh food and clean uniforms. He mandated that each man bathe three times a week with soap, thereby reducing the risk of disease. He did not hesitate to impose strict discipline and once made a show of having five deserters executed by firing squad.
Winfield Scott, 1814
David Edwin and Joseph Wood (Public Domain)
After just three months, Scott had completely transformed his soldiers into a force that was better disciplined, better supplied, and better trained than any other US army in the war. If there was any American force that could hope to resist the battle-tested British regulars coming over from Europe, this was it. Pleased with Scott's progress, General Brown prepared to launch his invasion, supplementing his troops with 1,000 militia volunteers under Peter B. Porter, a prominent New York politician. 500 Seneca warriors from Buffalo Creek were also assigned to Porter's command. Brown longed for his army to gain the respect of the British and warned his officers not to plunder private property after crossing into Canada; they were to conduct themselves with the honor of a true European army, to wash out the stains of the previous years of defeats and humiliations.

Star Trek Nerding Out Time
I've been watching a lot of Star Trek recently. And it's been a full force ADHD mega marathon of my favorite franchise right now. A lot of this for the first full time.
I grew up with TNG as a kid, seeing random episodes here and there. But I never followed the storyline.
Lower Decks is one of the best shows right now. And I LOVE the fifth/final season going on. If I had any complaints, it would be that they should have 7 seasons like the 90s shows. But I digress.
I have to nerd out about this connection I just made.
Seeing Lower Decks earlier this year introduced me to Kayshon, a Tamarian who joins the Cerritos in season 2. But it's not the first time a Tamarian has been in the franchise. Kayshon is a continuation of the first episode the Tamarians were in.
Star Trek: TNG S5:E2 "Darmok" shows Picard trying to find a way to speak to the Tamarian race. This is something that's been tried before, but the other two or three captains failed. Picard found a way to communicate with them; which btw is a very poetic episode. The Tamarians joined Starfleet after that.
The star dates for this episode are 45047.2-45048.8. Because I wanted to know the dates.
Paul Winfield
Tumblr media
So here's the behind the scenes thing that makes me so interested in this episode: The actor who played Captain Dathon was Paul Winfield.
Winfield is one of those actors that's been in quite a few movies and some childhood TV shows that I enjoyed. HERE'S his IMDB page so you can peruse it for yourself.
But some notable cartoon shows he's been a part of are: Batman The Animated Series, Gargoyles, Spider-Man The Animated Series, and Batman Beyond.
He also starred in The Wrath of Khan!
Huckleberry Finn was a huge deal to read when I was a kid. And I'm pretty sure I was shown the film adaptation from 1974. I'm from the South, so my parents wanted me to read or at least watch it. But I vaguely remember seeing Winfield's rendition of Jim from that movie. I bring this up because (and I cannot prove this speculation) I believe this was one of those roles that made people pay more attention to him as an actor.
Thinking back on this was wild. Anyway, back to in-universe stuff...
Kayshon, His Eyes Open
Tumblr media
By the time of Lower Decks comes around, we see Kayshon join Starfleet.
If you haven't seen the TNG episode before the LD episode like I did, the whole concept feels random. But (and spoilers I guess) Tamarians speak in metaphor. Which causes quite a bit of understandable confusion.
When I first saw Kayshon in LD what he said seemed really random. But Commander Jack Ransom points out in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment that the Tamarians speak in metaphor. Over the course of several episodes (I'd have to track down the precise episode again) the Commander starts speaking in metaphor around Kayshon. To which he responds happily.
The attention to detail between TNG and LD is phenomenal. I want to rewatch LD in general, but now I have yet another reference to look out for.
Seeing the TNG episode had me make the connection after seeing the Tamarians for the first time. And it felt like a Canon Event.

My Personal Fox Rankings
I saw @yourleftpinkytoe-blog do this and thought I'd give it a go! These are just my personal rankings and obviously I'd love to talk about why or hear about anyone else's.
Kevin Day (I relate to his mental health struggles and his need for perfection, he's giving gifted kid syndrome, autistic af)
Andrew Minyard (Devoted to his family, enforces his boundaries, relate to his mental health struggles, killing for his brother)
Neil Josten (Most of my love for him is because of his love for other characters, his loyalty and protectiveness over the family he found in the Foxes and his absolute devotion to respecting Andrew's boundaries)
David Wymack ("It's about second chances, Neil. Second, third, fourth, whatever, as long as you get at least one more than what anyone else wanted to give you." I think that covers all my reasoning)
Seth Gordon (We don't get to learn as much about him as the others but Seth hit me a lot harder than I've seen most people feel. He wanted to prove himself, he wanted to be better, he wanted to win. He's the what if. The almost. Every kid who couldn't be saved, Who gave up or was given up on a minute too soon. He was almost there. And then he was gone.)
Aaron Minyard (I have a weak spot for sibling relationships, killing for his brother, the urge to protect your siblings and to stay by your siblings side and at the same time wanting to prove you can be more or different or better than them, not understanding each other completely but knowing you stand and fall together always.)
Matt Boyd (100% projected every urge I've ever had to have a big brother onto him. The way he's always there on the Court to physically protect his teammates, he's big and strong and powerful, but off the Court he is kind and caring and gentle. He loves the Foxes and he has their backs. His relationship with Neil was everything.)
Nicky Hemmick (I loved his blatant and unavoidable queerness, for a character who has canonically been shammed and abused for his sexuality and coming from a world myself where I don't feel safe or brave enough to be unapologetically queer it's so beautiful to read. He took in the twins, he never gave up on them, never walked away. The twins weren't easy, not before the story started and not when we get to arrive in it, but he loves his family and he wants them to have better than he did, and that means something.)
Dan Wilds (Oh Captain my Captain. Dan is an amazing leader and my love for her comes from her devotion to her team. She is tough and she worked her ass off for the role she has, she's more than earned her share of respect. She believes in her team even after years of failing and bullshit.)
Betsy Dobson (The therapist we all dream of having. If Andrew could trust her I can't imagine anyone couldn't with enough time. She is a safe space and a constant, and clearly has patience for days with the twinyards as her clients. The fact that she provides hot chocolate is 100% a huge plus for me.)
Abby Winfield (Always there for the Foxes, whether that's patching them up, giving them a roof to sleep under, or cooking warm meals. She's a safe adult like Bee and Wymack and they are so very important and precious.)
Allison Reynolds (I love Allison, her being this low is NOT Allison hate, I simply did not connect with her as much as other characters, she is still dear to me, all of the Foxes are. She is devoted to the Foxes and found them somewhere safe to run off to and have some fun after shit went down. and even when the worst possible thing happens and she loses the man she loves she comes back ready to fight because she knows it's what he would've wanted.)
Renee Walker (Once again NOT Renee hate, all of those Foxes are dear to me. I had trouble with her "religious angel girl" attitude in a similar way to Neil, I just couldn't trust it. Renee is an amazing force within the Foxes, the bridge before Neil arrived, providing Andrew with an outlet and a friend, protecting the upperclassmen Foxes. I admire her for pulling herself out of darkness, even if I can't connect to the religious aspect, and I admire that she acknowledges and respects her old life, not burying it but not letting it control her future or her present day.

hi queen (ignore this if i already sent this in, but i was really not sober when i sent in the first one so i can’t remember if i actually sent it or not god bless) but if it’s not too late for the WIP game what is the aftg x tlou wip 🙏 i’m obsessed with both tlou and aftg so im so curious
i realize i've answered you months ago but i'm in a yapping mood about that wip so hiiiiiiiii (i need to vent about Abby Winfield so this does not end up in the fic)
one of my BIGGEST struggle so far is to not make Abby unlikeable...
(if you are new to the blog, Adler does not like Abby here✨)
but because this is a Wymack-centric, Wymack pov fic, she's gotta be there, and i gotta respect Wymack's choice, so i gotta do her justice somehow
(no there will not be Wymack/Abby in this fic, nor any of mine ever, bc i cannot stand this puta)
now here is my dilemma: who tf do i cast her as?
obviously it should be Tess. obviously. i can work my way around making them NOT in a relationship, that's fine, Joel/Tess is complicated and murky too; what i cannot seem to reconcile is how Abby is so meek compared to Tess...
pros: Abby still being a nurse in this verse would give her the curiosity to prob at Neil's case of immunity
cons: it's Neil she's dealing with. never gonna get anything out of him, no chance in hell. so if she does not have the info on a potential cure, if she does not get hopeful, what is her motivation here? why would she care about him? the Foxes are not a thing, Neil's 18, plus she's not doing it for Wymack bc he doesn't want to have anything to do with Neil!
why would she sacrifice herself for Neil's "cause" ???
i love how all of this bs is just me trapping myself with personal hcs✨ (ut then it wouldn't be my fic otherwise, would it?)
so if she's not Tess, who is she?
she could be Rhemann's wife in /Jackson/, but AGAIN, Maria is strong af, and Abby is... Abby. Rhemann could build the commune and Abby be his nurse/medic wife, but that's erasing a woman in power, a Black woman no less, so i don't really vibe with that... plus now i just got a lightbulb moment, so yeah, ok, she could be just a wife with no real purpose in /Jackson/ (hey, that sounds an awful lot like her role at PSU... jk jk)
but more importantly, if she's not Tess, who is?
Rhemann, Kevin, Neil, Andrew, Aaron, Jeremy, Jean, Thea, Matt, Seth, Robin, Renee, Allison, Stuart, Ichirou, Riko, Tetsuji, Mary, Nathan, Lola, Nicky, Erik, Tetsuji, Kengo have all alreayd been cast/have a role 😅
who's left: Laila, Cat, Katelyn, Dan...
could it be Dan? his second-in-command, his captain, yes, but he's already lost Kevin, and killing off one of his adoptees for another does not make sense 😭
ok i'll admit all this mental gymnastics was really fun + i figured it out while ranting, so yay! yay me! thanks Jess for letting me use your ask to go a little mad 😅🫶
stay tunèd <3

sorry to bother but do you have a plan of when part 4 will come out
ofc it’s perfectly fine if you’re not ready, from the looks of it this is a really big project
Hi anon!!
Oh my goodness, no it's no bother at all! Honestly, I would much rather be talking about fic writing than doing boring things like making a living (which consumed MY LIFE last week).
Ha! And you said it - this fic series has definitely been all-consuming. But I really love this particular AU, so let me tell you I've been working on it non-stop whenever I have time and have the following figured out so far:
My outline currently has the next fic at 12 chapters, though I have a sneaky suspicion that it'll become longer.
I have 53K written so far (but that's before editing😅).
It will have alternating POVs between Jean and Jeremy.
I wish I could give you a better sense of timing, but honestly it all comes down to my work schedule and what free time I have. At this point, I feel like I'm aiming toward April - but don't quote me.
And because I haven't posted something about Once in a Blue Moon on here for a while, here's a new snippet to chew over while I keep hustling as a thank you for your patience! 🥹
OIAB scene under the cut:
The LA airport is hot and muggy. It makes sweat bead down Jean’s neck and uncomfortably gather beneath his collar. Though he wears the lightest long-sleeve shirt he owns, the material still feels constricted and stifling, sticking to his skin. He has the insane urge to tear the garment off him and walk around bare-chested just to feel some relief.  Of course, he would never do so. In fact, the mere thought of it makes him pull his sleeves down farther, covering the backs of scar-ridden hands.  At least his head is cool.  He runs a hand over his buzzed scalp once more, the fuzzy feel of it still odd to him. Abby had suggested it so they could see his stitches better. And since so much of his hair had been pulled out anyway, it seemed to make sense.  Still, he hates how foreign the feeling is. He’s a stranger in his own skin. Has been, for some time he thinks.  He glances up anxiously at the clock on the wall, his knee bouncing as he waits. His flight landed ten minutes ago, and he thought his captain would be waiting here to greet him.  Apparently, he thought wrong.  Laughter erupts from behind him, and Jean jumps. He immediately spins around, only to find a family standing nearby, laughing at the antics of their two-year-old. He watches them for a moment before slowly turning back, clasping his hands in front of him and clutching them tight. Anxiety slowly begins to creep under his skin. Had he gotten the day wrong? Or the time? Did something happen between Palmetto and here that caused a delay? Should he call someone to ask?  He opens his phone and looks through the few contacts on his list.  Abby Winfield David Wymack Jeremy Knox Kevin Day Renee Walker Jean scowls.  His preference would likely be Abby or Renee, though he thinks the latter would have no information useful for this. Wymack, he would tolerate. He skims over the fourth name on the list because he’s never thinking of that fucker again in his entire life, if he can help it. Then he stares at the fifth name, the contact information for him uploaded without his knowledge into this new phone Abby got him. Jeremy Knox.  Starting Trojans Striker. #11. Played 52 games last season, scored 41 goals, and had 36 assists. Captain of the USC Trojans for three years straight. Fifth-best striker in the NCAA.  (Fourth, now that Riko is gone.)  Weaknesses: favors left side for goals, left knee injury in his sophomore year of high school, and overly attached to wellbeing of teammates. Jean scowls again.  If Knox is anything like the person who recommended him, he’s bound to be both a waste of Jean’s time and breath. After all, he can certainly strike punctual off the list.
Thanks again for the ask, anon!

There I was, on that fancy lighter, trying to pretend my entire life hadn’t been ripped out from under me (admittedly to be replaced by a much nicer life), and that the cloying, fizzy drink I’d been handed was a good amasec rather than some offensively sweet and disappointingly non-alcoholic concoction.
A mere Guardsman doesn’t refuse a post among the armsmen of a Rogue Trader, but she certainly doesn’t need to be happy about it. And unhappy I was.
I knew exactly why Her Grace had chosen me. It wasn’t my skill with a hellgun, a trench knife, or even a Volkite charger. Nor was it my experience fighting every foe of the Imperium that dares intrude upon the worlds of the Kallurax Sector (a note: you’ve definitely heard it referred to as the Segmentum Kallurax, the Sub-Segmentum Kallurax, and other names; I prefer “Sector”, as it gets the point across quite well that this place is a mere hundred worlds across a few dozen or so parsecs). Tyranids, drukhari, necrons, t’au, and countless other xenos had met their end at my hands, as did a similar number of agents of the Archenemy, including a Berzerker who was quite dismayed to realize that this “mere mortal” had just beaten him at his own game by slipping her trench knife between the plates of his power armor, right into a vital artery.
I still remember the blood-spattered bone-white of his armor, and how, as he bled out a truly impressive volume of blood over the next several seconds, that white quickly found itself coated in fresh red, and that look on his face turned from anger to what I can only call a twisted sort of respect (and if that should ever reach the Inquisition, remember: I did kill this foul traitor).
No, I was well aware that the reason the Most Honorable Helena, Lord-Captain Gellerson-Winfield, Marchioness of Kallurax, High Legate of the Gellwin Dragoons, and countless other titles, had taken an interest in me was more… “personal”? As in, she’d taken one look at me during the Eye of the Titan affair and decided Thalia Kirst was far too beautiful to be languishing in some oddball kill team in the 7th Nyfarran Urban Assault Legion.
got bored during the flight, wrote like 1500 words and this is the first few hundo

”The Captain’s Wife”
How some of Preble’s Boys met their brides.
Tumblr media
Isaac Hull married Ann Hart after the capture of the Guerriere during the War of 1812. It is quite possible that they met at the numerous balls after his victory in battle. When Isaac Hull brought his new wife to the Boston Navy Yard, William Bainbridge’s own wife Susan Bainbridge was still living in the commandant’s house so the Hulls had to find lodging elsewhere. Ann Hull and Susan Bainbridge hated each other on sight and never wasted an opportunity to make catty remarks to one another.
Tumblr media
Charles Stewart was told by a fortune teller many years before the War that he would marry “the Belle of Boston”. When he was fitting out the Constellation in Washington, Stewart was trying to woo Miss Virginia Mayo who ultimately married Winfield Scott later on. Sent to Boston to take command of the Constitution did Charles Stewart meet Delia Tudor in the summer of 1813 and both married in November the same year. Before Stewart left for sea, Delia asked her new husband to bring back a British frigate and Stewart replied he’d “bring back two.” Though he defeated two, he only managed to bring back the HMS Cyane
Tumblr media
David Porter saw a young girl while visiting Commodore Thomas Tingey at the Washington Navy Yard and instantly fell in lust. (Trust me, it definitely was.) Thomas Tingey wanted nothing to do with this nonsense so he sent his friend’s daughter back home to Chester Pennsylvania which Porter followed her. There was a short courtship and finally Porter decided to ask permission to marry Evalina Anderson. When he went to her home, he was greeted by Evalina’s brother Thomas who objected to the proposal stating “no naval officer would be connected to this family.” David Porter countered with a threat to throw the brother out the window for standing in the way between him and his future bride. The father William Anderson who was in the next room listening to the whole interaction intervened and said if his daughter still felt the same way towards the young officer in a year, he would have no objections to it.
Tumblr media
After Stephen Decatur’s fame in the Mediterranean, he was captain of the frigate Congress and a passenger of his was the Tunisian ambassador Sidi Solimar. The cargo consisted of fine silks, incense, gold, silver and ivory as gifts for the president Thomas Jefferson. The Congress dropped anchor off Olde Point Virginia and Luke Wheeler the mayor of Norfolk came on board to greet the captain. James Barron invited Stephen Decatur to stay with him at his home called “Little England” which Decatur agreed to. The Congress was still anchored in the harbor when a small group of people heard there were exotic curiosities in the Captain’s cabin and among the crowd was Susan Wheeler the mayor’s daughter. She saw a watercolor miniature of Stephen Decatur and was instantly smitten. The Tunisian ambassador and Stephen Decatur dined at mayor Wheeler’s home and at the dinner table, there was a mutual attraction between Stephen and Susan. There is something worth noting that did affect Stephen Decatur’s and James Barron’s relationship after this. After Decatur met Susan, he was conveniently assigned to be the gunboat flotilla commander in Norfolk for a short period. After that duty was over, Decatur found any reason and excuse to visit the city. One day James Barron was walking the street when he saw Decatur and a few associates who commented on Decatur’s frequent appearance in Norfolk suggesting a lady must be involved. Barron oblivious to Decatur’s courtship to Miss Susan Wheeler scolded the teasers saying “Decatur could have no romantic interest in Norfolk for it lay elsewhere.” At one point Stephen Decatur did have a sweetheart in Philadelphia but he must have forgotten when he met Susan Wheeler. Decatur was throughly embarrassed by Barron’s comment and that was the beginning of the icy relationship between the two men.

DP Writing Prompt
Someone in the DP universe suddenly starts acting weird.
They seem to have gained additional personalities. Except. The personalities aren't random.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write this person using any personas available on the voice actor's roster.
For instance, Dark Dan would be Eric Roberts in the US version.
Some fun characters for Dan that you could play around with include:
Sal Maroni from The Dark Knight
Dante in Dante's Hell Animated
Dr. Lee Parsons in Star Trek: Captain Pike
Detective Jack Boudin in Beverly Hill Bandits
Steven from the Drew Carrey Show
The Master/Bruce from Doctor Who
Raymond "The Madman" Ricci from Falcone
Sam Winfield or Roy Hubert from Law and Order
Mongul from Justice League
Agent Thompson from Heroes
Ken Kramer from CSI: Miami
Andy Armus from Criminal Minds
Reed Perkins from Burn Notice
Senator Starling from High Heels, Low Standards
Richard Sheridan from Hawaii-five-0
Charles Forstman from Suits
Dr. Albert Beck in Stalked by my Doctor and all the sequels lol
I find it so funny to think about Dan just constantly switching between a spy, lawyer, cop or mafia man until he just randomly gets a small bout of "I am now Duffy the talking cat," or "I am suddenly the fundraising coordinator for the Glee club." XD
The cause of this phenomenon could be a parallel universe problem or not. I leave that up to you.
You could also include an Easter egg that Dan is convinced Julia Roberts is his sister. XD

Lilo, Jumba, Captain Gantu, and Angel are racing to Disney Speedstorm!
Lilo & Stitch is going to burn rubber onto Gameloft's Disney Speedstorm soon!
This past week, beginning from July 17, 2023, the game's official social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube have been sharing concept art for the new Lilo & Stitch track environment that will be added in the game's third season (and the last season for its early access period).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But Gameloft also took the opportunity to tease the four other Lilo & Stitch racers who will be joining Stitch in the new season by hiding the syllables of those racers' names in the concept art. (Zoom in on the images above!) These were followed by a full reveal of their character and kart renders the very next day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With Lilo Pelekai, Jumba Jookiba, Captain Gantu, and Experiment 624/Angel ready to tear up some Hawaiian roads, plus two more mystery racers from other Disney franchises joining them, this looks to be Disney Speedstorm's biggest season yet before its full free-to-play release on September 28!
Plus, considering that Speedstorm features voice acting, with many of the various Disney and Pixar characters' original voice actors reprising their roles, this will be the first time in years that Lilo & Stitch and Disney fans will get to hear the beloved little Hawaiian girl Lilo talk again and possibly hear Kevin Michael Richardson, who last voiced Gantu in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (2010), bringing his deep and authoritative voice back to the massive whale-like alien that put him on the map. Moreso, Angel's original voice Tara Strong could finally be voicing Stitch's pink alien siren girlfriend for the first time since Leroy & Stitch seventeen years ago (unless Gameloft decides to go with her Stitch! anime voice Kate Higgins or another actor). Jumba, meanwhile, will be getting a different voice from his original Western appearance, as David Ogden Stiers died back in March 2018. There is a chance that his anime and Stitch & Ai voice Jess Winfield could be voicing the evil genius again though since the latter's English release; if that's the case, then this will be the first time Winfield voiced Jumba in a Western-produced work.
Season 3 of Disney Speedstorm will be released next month during August, following the conclusion of the Toy Story-focused Season 2: To Infinity and Beyond. As of this writing, the game is currently available in paid early access for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PCs (via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store).
For those who missed Stitch's reveal on Stitch Day (June 26) 2023, here's his render.

Battle of Crysler's Farm
The Battle of Crysler's Farm (11 November 1813) was a major battle in the War of 1812. Fought along the banks of the St. Lawrence River, it saw a British and Canadian force defeat a much larger American army, thwarting the United States' attempt to capture Montreal.
Battle of Crysler's Farm
Adam Sherriff Scott (Public Domain)
Background
By the autumn of 1813, the St. Lawrence Valley had been left largely untouched by the War of 1812, even though the conflict had been raging for over a year. This was partially because the Americans were focused on taking the Niagara Peninsula for political and strategic reasons, but also because David Parish, one of the largest landowners in the St. Lawrence region, had loaned millions of dollars to the Madison administration in the understanding that the US would leave the valley alone. For a while, Parish's bribes paid off, and the only action along the St. Lawrence were minor raids conducted by US Major Benjamin Forsyth and his riflemen, who attacked and plundered the Canadian settlements of Gananoque and Elizabethtown on their own volition. But by mid-1813, as the Americans fumbled their invasion of Niagara, they began to look at the St. Lawrence Valley as an enticing place to open a new front. After all, the river was a major supply line for British Canada, and its capture could allow the Americans to threaten vital Canadian outposts like Kingston or even Montreal.
Such an operation would be led by Major General James Wilkinson, who had recently replaced the outgoing General Henry Dearborn as commander of all US troops along the New York–Canadian frontier. To say that Wilkinson was controversial would be somewhat of an understatement. He was almost universally disliked; Winfield Scott, one of the army's up-and-coming officers, once said that serving under Wilkinson "was as disgraceful as being married to a prostitute" (quoted in Taylor, 281). Indeed, Wilkinson's reputation for treachery stretched back to the American Revolution, when he was implicated in the Conway Cabal, which had unsuccessfully tried to force General George Washington out of command. Since then, Wilkinson had undermined his superior officer, General Anthony Wayne, in the Fallen Timbers campaign of 1794, and had later plotted with Aaron Burr to illegally attack Mexico – when this conspiracy was uncovered in 1807, Wilkinson threw Burr under the bus to minimize his own involvement. To top it all off, Wilkinson was secretly in the pay of the Spanish, having promised to promote their interests in the American West. His detestable reputation stretched well beyond his own lifetime; President Theodore Roosevelt would later say of Wilkinson that "in all our history, there is no more despicable character" (nps.gov).
The fact that a man like Wilkinson had been given such an important command was a testament to the lack of experienced general officers in the US Army. In late August, he arrived at the military camp at Sackets Harbor, New York, where, despite his unsavory reputation, he was cheered by the men. "General Wilkinson has infused new spirit into the troops at this post," reported one captain. "He inspired a degree of confidence in every officer and soldier that I never saw equaled" (quoted in Taylor, 279). The reason for this outpour of jubilation was because the soldiers were in desperate need of hope – under the sluggish leadership of their previous commander Dearborn, they had suffered defeat after defeat and, moreover, were undersupplied and poorly trained, lacking enough officers to properly drill them. What was worse was that they were suffering from disease caused by their tainted food supply; for weeks now, the men had been subsisting on rotten meat, stagnant water, and bread that was found to have been mixed with bits of soap, lime, and even fecal matter. By September, 700 officers and men were incapacitated by illness, and a month later, that number had doubled. The men, therefore, hoped that this change in command would lead to a change in fortune and would save them from their wretched condition.

Shortly after his arrival in Sackets Harbor, Wilkinson met with US Secretary of War John Armstrong, Jr., to concoct a plan. While it was agreed that Wilkinson would lead his 8,000-man army down the St. Lawrence River, the two men disagreed as to their target; Armstrong preferred an attack on Kingston, which housed the main British naval base on Lake Ontario, while Wilkinson advocated for the riskier – yet more glorious – assault on Montreal. The successful capture of Montreal, Wilkinson argued, would sever the British supply line and cut the Canadian provinces in two. Armstrong ultimately relented, viewing the plan with a great deal of optimism. "If our cards are well played," he told Wilkinson, "We may renew the scenes of Saratoga" (quoted in Taylor, 283).
