Theater kids. Oh they are both theater freaks!!! (Projecting here but!) York is constantly cast in theater specifically, while California is an avid consumer! They're constantly singing together, and the entire statehouse gets annoyed.

Hollywood California. Ohhh Hollywood California. He was constantly starring in movies, he was one of the leading men. He typically played the love interest. The fan service was insane. And you know what York thought of all this?? Oh he loved it. Yeah, he'd get jealous that he was kissing other people, but DAMNNN he was kissing other people!!

They're often cuddling, California's love language is touch, so He's constantly clinging to York.

California is a YAPPER!! He'll have just sessions where he talks at York, and just rambles for hours on end. He infodumps a lot, about what he's hyperfixating on, and his special interests. York loves to listen ti him, he finds it genuinely endearing. He love's California's voice.

California had a "Phase" where he was a pop star.... he's embarrassed about it, but York actually loved it. He loved listening to California sing, and be so passionate about something.

Punk New York. He's got spikes, leather, battle vest, patch pants, crust pants!! He's a true punk, with his loser tendy boyfriend. <3

my WTTT California HeadCannon.

California had a toxic/abusive relationship with Hollywood. Its what started the breakdown of every relationship he had with the west.

California had Wavy long brown hair that he occasionally highlights.

Alaska and California get along because of their mutual appreciation of bears.

Texas and California were super close in the old west. He was also close with Nevada and Oregon.

California's Eyes shift hue's of blue but during fire season they turn a smokey grey.

I don’t think I’ve never made a post about it before but I’m a huge fan of Ben Brainard, he’s a great comedian and I especially enjoy his state series (wttt), especially Texas and Austin’s dynamic so here’s a couple things I personally head canon:

- Texas has an innate fear that he will one day wake up blue blue hair and piercings because the hat fell off in the middle of the night and Austin did Austin things

- California: *viscously trying to grab cowboy hat away from Austin* DON’T BRING HIM BACK- PLEASE- PLEASEEE-

- Texas has like an agreement except for himself- Like Austin gets Thursdays and Tuesdays and Texas gets the rest of the week yk

- Texas: “Look I hate to say it but sometimes, SOMETIMES, your food is.. okay.” - Austin: *beaming* “Really? 🥹”

- Alaska and Austin are polar opposites (quite literally) which frequently results in very interesting conversations, however Alaska definitely favors Austin over Texas purely because Austin isn’t as much of a jerk

Today I bring: California loves clubbing. Drinking fancy drinks even if he can make most of them himself, being flirty to 10 ppl at once, dancing to the loudest and most unsingable music ever and chiling after it is calmer around closing time and just relaxing.

He doesn't mind pubs n bars, but he is going out to dance his ass out, not to drink and forget or just be a lil bitch like most of the NE or some of the sad drinkers, "like live a little, stop sulking" type of guy.

He absolutely doesn't go out with those ppl that don't do anything, but sit and drink, he thinks it's just a little too boring. If you ask for the simplest beer that you can buy in any shop and just sit there, at least do it at home where u can watch tv and hear smth above this goddamn music.

Also it might be a main reason why a lot of states don't know it about him, simply because they are "too fucking lazy to move around and not just sit there" and also main reason why he will never come to places like that with most of the south who know like two dances that he'd rather die than be seen with in a club he likes.

Most clubs he visits already know him well enough that their workers could chit chat with him anytime n know his name.

Idk, he just seems like a person to overdress and have the best time of his life even before he can drink anything. (which cannot relate bc clubs would kill my ass, I'll take bars any day over them)

Cali can pick up tex and he alway fluster when cal do it same with york

They sleep york in the middle and cali and tex beside to keep york warm

Tex love language is quality time so cal would plan a long date for them most of the day include of them being outdoor walking or horse riding if tex not up for the outdoor cal and tex would cuddle watching old hollywood movie till they fall asleep

York and Cali’s favorite activity is flustering Texas all they have to do is tell Tex that they’re proud of him and he’ll tear up and be a flustered mess

One day texas bring a homless puppy to home tex convinces cal and york to keep them even though they have five ruesue dog

one day tex bring a snake home but york is scared of the snake but eventually they convince York that the snake would not eat him lol

Tex and cal get a cat for york and they both have a matching beanie😌

York and tex have service dog for their war trauma blue Lacy for tex and a german shepherd for york

They also got service cat (fluffy black cat) for york

York like to follow cal or tex like a clingy cat want attention from them all day

They adopting alot of homless animals together and they fawns over the animal like they are a child Texas treats the animals like they are his babies

imagine cal and york bleaching tex hair and doing skin care cuz they are afraid that Texas is gonna damage his skin cuz of how much he works in the sun

When york get tired walking cal and tex just pick him up cuz he is their short king cal made a crown for him say short king and a robe lol

York do photography and do photo shoot and fashion designer with cal being the make up artist Tex can build the setting for them and they have phote of each other when they miss each other

Alaska is one of the only states that is taller than California, so whenever Alaska hugs him from behind, he gets so so flustered.

Alaska will cling to California during the winter, because California is a natural heater! :))

California absolutely adores when Alaska grows his beard out. He thinks Alaska looks so handsome with it.

They call each other bear-themed petnames! Alaska calls California 'Cub' or 'Grizzly' and California calls Alaska 'Kodiak' !! The bear states <3

Alaska adores California's glasses, and loves when he changes the style of them to fit the current trends, even if he liked the previous frames!

On a similar note, California dyes his hair often, so Alaska will help out! He'll help pick colors, and bleach California's hair, and actually dye it for him!

Alaska's hair is white, and GOD California loves it! Alaska mentioned dying his hair and California protested so insanely hard

Alaska has a bunch of tattoos! Most of them are native, and hold meanings and culture. But some are less cultural, and stuff! He had his state flower, and California's state flower on his back <3

After reading about him making his Mayor (am pretty sure?) leave bc the mf tried to play where those ppl don't be playin, after reading trough parts of his history and reading how many different nationalities he has 100 times over n over again, I finally made him a kind of fake punk? Since am too lazy to make him an actual one.

I see Oakland as a loving, but strong-minded man full of even stronger opinions. Him and SF have way more sibling-like relationship than him and LA, sadly, but when someone's for you through thick and thin, that's how it goes.

Absolute menace, Gov's least favourite California city, though by years there's some kind of mutual respect and it lack. On the other side of the spectrum, him and Mass get along surprisingly well, but that might be because of that crazy look in their eyes that they share.

Fights weekly, adores it - also usually the reason why another city would look for him - to unwind.

Agender Gov for the win. He’s the personification of a patriarchal government, so he takes a more masculine form, but he has like. 0 opinion on gender.

They don’t care what pronouns you think she uses, or what you use for him, cause he feels nothing towards all of them.

He’s most likely either panromantic, biromantic, or aromantic. He can’t tell the difference between attraction and if it’s attraction or not

If you feel the same about everyone, how are you supposed to know?

His romantic orientation never really clicked for him.

They got into a kinda fight, and that was one of the first few big fights that was identity related

Came from some repressed shit on California’s side

But Gov literally saw no issues, or reason to be upset or anything

He was no different than before? Now he just had a name for how he felt.

He didn’t need a name for it before anyways - why was it so important to California? He didn’t know

California eventually apologized and they had a whole talk
