Résultats scientifiques écologie évolutive & Biodiversité

  "Depuis quelque temps cependant, grâce aux nouvelles techniques d’édition des génomes, d’autres insectes émergent comme modèles d’intérêt. C’est notamment le cas de l’abeille, insecte social aux comportements élaborés. Dans un article paru dans Plos Biology, une équipe internationale de chercheurs a construit un outil génétique à l’aide d’abeilles transgéniques qui permet de suivre l’activité neurale dans le cerveau des abeilles en réponse à des stimuli environnementaux. Cet outil a été testé pour décrire la réponse neurale des abeilles à des molécules odorantes, en particulier leurs phéromones.

  Les insectes intéressent de plus en plus la communauté scientifique comme animaux modèles. Notamment les abeilles, capables de comportements complexes dans des domaines aussi variés que l’orientation, la communication, l’apprentissage et la mémoire, sont de plus en plus utilisées.

  Une équipe de chercheurs du CNRS et des Universités ParisSaclay, de Düsseldorf (Allemagne) et de Trento (Italie) annoncent qu’ils ont modifié le code génétique d’abeilles pour obtenir une lignée transgénique dont le cerveau produit une protéine fluorescente permettant de suivre l’activation de neurones du cerveau en réponse à des stimuli environnementaux.

  Une des difficultés de ce travail était qu’il fallait travailler sur de l’ADN de reines et que chez les abeilles les reines ne peuvent pas être élevées au laboratoire car elles ont besoin de leur colonie pour se reproduire. 4000 œufs d’abeilles ont été inoculés avec une séquence génétique spécifique. L’élevage en ruche, les tests et la sélection ont permis d’obtenir 7 reines porteuses du transgène qui transmettent le gène à certains de leurs descendants.

  La construction génétique a été testée en étudiant la réponse des abeilles à des molécules odorantes sous microscope à fluorescence. Il a été possible de détecter quelle sont les cellules du cerveau activées par ces odeurs et comment cette information est distribuée dans le cerveau.

  Ce nouvel outil va permettre des études approfondies de la communication chez les colonies d’abeilles et comment la socialité impacte le cerveau de ces animaux.

Bệnh viêm gan truyền nhiễmLà bệnh lây lan rất nhanh, do virus Cannie Adenovirus-1 (CAV-1), các loài chó hoang dã và chó chưa được tiêm vaccine CVA-1 đều có thể mắc bệnh, đặc biệt với chó dưới một năm tuổi. Rất may bệnh này không lây sang người. Khi phát hiện thú cưng bị bệnh này, các bạn nên chủ yếu điều trị theo triệu chứng: bù nước, cân bằng điện giải, truyền dịch đường glucose, lactated Ringer và dùng các loại kháng sinh chống viêm nhiễm kế phát, vitamine, tăng chức năng gan thận, và chăm sóc theo chỉ định của các bác sỹ thú y. En effet, les abeilles présentent un comportement social complexe - elles doivent fournir des prestations dans les domaines de l'orientation, de la communication, de l'apprentissage et de la mémoire - qui les rend particulièrement intéressantes pour l'étude du développement cérébral et des processus neuronaux.

  Une équipe de recherche des universités de Düsseldorf, Francfort-sur-le-Main, Paris-Saclay et Trente a développé une méthode permettant d'observer directement le cerveau des abeilles au travail. Martin Beye de l'Institut de génétique de l'évolution participe à l'étude publiée dans PLoS Biology.

  Le professeur Beye fait remarquer que "la réalisation de cette 'abeille capteuse' a constitué un défi particulier. En effet, nous avons dû travailler avec l'ADN de la reine des abeilles. Or, contrairement aux mouches du vinaigre, les reines des abeilles ne peuvent pas être simplement élevées en laboratoire, car chacune d'entre elles a besoin de sa propre colonie pour survivre".

  Le travail a commencé par l'inoculation d'une séquence génétique spécifique dans plus de quatre mille œufs d'abeilles. Au terme d'un long processus d'élevage, de test et de sélection, sept reines étaient finalement porteuses du capteur génétiquement codé. Lorsqu'elles se sont reproduites dans leur propre état, elles ont transmis le gène à certaines de leurs descendantes.

  Le capteur développé par l'équipe de recherche a ensuite servi à étudier l'odorat des abeilles et la manière dont la perception des odeurs est génétiquement codée dans les neurones. La professeure Julie Carcaud de l'Université Paris-Saclay [première autrice de l'étude] et le professeur Jean-Christophe Sandoz, directeur de recherche au CNRS à Paris, expliquent : "Les insectes ont été stimulés avec différentes odeurs et observés avec un microscope à haute résolution. De cette manière, nous avons pu déterminer quelles cellules du cerveau sont activées par ces odeurs et comment ces informations sont distribuées dans le cerveau".
