a) get freaked tf out by this bc. wth??

b) try to find a logical solution to this problem

or c) get kinda freaked out at first but figure you're both human now and he can't really eat you anyway

if you answered "d) none of the above - you are not only completely unbothered, but you also put on a penguin onesie and start acting all seductive to reawaken your boyfriend's instincts bc you figure you could use them to your advantage to fight off the poachers who are after you" congrats! you figured out an actual plot point in Thai BL Caged Again.

It's the comfort Junior offers to Sun out of nothing but the gentlest of worries and how Sun might struggle but has started to truly accept that love and tenderness.

Some important details from Sun and Junior's beautiful first kiss:

Junior nuzzling Sun like cats do, and Sun's absolutely shocked and enamoured expression. He's clearly not used to physical affection, and Junior hasn't been shy with giving it, but this? To be offered such kindness in what is basically your native language? He's understandably surprised.

Sun's gulp, and they way they both look at each other's mouths, and Junior's teeny tiny little nod of assent.

How they both move in, and how gentle they are with each other.

The way that Sun licks his lips before he opens his eyes, and traces Junior's jaw with his thumb, and how Junior takes a breath and swallows heavily before he opens his and looks back at Sun. And how they're both surprised in different ways: Sun looks awed -- like he's fighting a little smile -- and Junior looks like he can't believe what just happened.

What a perfect first kiss.

I continue to be surprised by how much I love this show.
