Story beyond this point!

Sam and Bobby made their way to the center of the maze, both of them dwelling on Taylors’ scream. Sam had to fight back tears, wishing that Taylor wasnt’ in too much pain or worse. Taking random turns, left, right, left, right over and over again they finally found the center. Turning around the last right, Sam sprinted towards Rowan and Hazel! “I thought you were dead, that the monster had gotten you!” Sam said, choking on tears. Hazel embraced Sam gently and assured that they were fine.

After the group had settled down a bit Rowan asked where Taylor was, “did you see them? Did you see anything weird while in the maze? Where did you pop up? And Who is this?” Sam realized they never introduced Bobby. “Oh this is Bobby, he came into the maze to help us.” Sam looked down, not making eye contact and whispered, “While we were looking for you we heard Taylor scream and then silence. The monster probably got to them.”

“A monster-um okay…What monster? And why are we here? Why did the outside world disappear?” Bobby explained again the town's ritual, the seal, and how the four were sacrificed. “So, if we are to be eaten and all we need to do is break the seal, why don't we break it now?” Hazel questioned. The four of them looked towards the symbol on the plaque. It looked like black marble with a red symbol on it and was shining. The symbol looked like it had liquid in it moving, almost like a blood vessel.

Bobby looked at the symbol and touched it feeling a zap through his finger, shocked he fell back in surprise. He struggled to sit up and said, “What the hell? I saw something. I saw three more symbols that were in the maze forming a triangle around this one.” The three looked at him with confusion and terror. He went on, “I don't know how i know this but, we need to break the three other seals first before this one. It didn't show me where the seals are located unfortunately. And there’s one more thing. Only four of us can leave after breaking the symbol, the fifth one of us has to,” He paused and swallowed hard, “the fifth one of us needs to die to break the seal.”

Sam, Rowan, and Hazel looked at Bobby with suspicion, he just magically knew? But they had to take his word for it since there was nothing they could do to get out of the maze. Rowan broke the silence, “Well I’m not dying, and neither are Sam, Rowan, and Taylor it looks like it has to be you.” 

Bobby shot up and pushed Rowan, “Look I’m not dying either, one of you are!” He pushed Rowan to the ground and took out a knife, “I’m not dying.” The other two pushed him off and said in unison, “Us four are living. You're not!”

Bobby replied, “Well, I saw Taylor is alive. So good luck finding where the monster is.” He took off into the maze with one last word, “It’s Taylor or me. I'll find Taylor first, I’m going to get out.”

The three turned to each other with Hazel saying, “We need to find Taylor before Bobby does.” The group agreed and Hazel went on, “If Bobby was telling the truth, then we also need to break the symbols. So do we try to find Taylor first or break the seals?”

The story so far:

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain had woken you up, and you were starting to get cold.

The blanket you grabbed was a gift from your grandmother. She knitted it herself.

As you got snuggled in again, you found yourself unable to get back to sleep. It seems as though getting up to snatch another blanket was just enough to keep you awake. So you quickly became bored.

You had turned on you phone in an attempt to entertain yourself. However, tumblr seemed to be glitching. In the middle of each post, it said

>>Ignore it. It’s just a glitch.

As you looked for something else to do, you heard something go *thud* downstairs.

>>Reassure yourself that it’s just the cat. Keep looking for something to do.

>>Panic. Call 911. Someone could be breaking in.

You went downstairs, despite the small voice in the back of your head telling you to stay upstairs.

At the end of the staircase, you notice that the umbrella stand near the entrance has fallen over. Which is strange, considering you don't have an umbrella stand

>>Go to the kitchen. All of this walking around has made you hungry.

>>Fix the umbrella stand.

>>Go back upstairs go back upstairs please for the love of God go back upstairs

You quickly turned around to go back up the stairs, but out of the corner your eyes, you see something move.

Not wanting to stick around, you quickly turn and rush up the stairs. Just in time too, it seems, as you felt something try to grab your ankle. It felt cold, like ice. Luckily, you managed to slip out of its grip.

When a person commits a rather horrendous act against others, a karmic-like phenomenon called a Blood Curse is placed upon them and their bloodline. Terrible events occur every generation until someone is able to right the wrong committed. Your twin sister was the most recent victim of the Curse, being poisoned at her own coronation celebration ball. Now it's up to you to figure out how to break this curse before it claims you as well.

The Blood Curse Cycle is a WIP and new interactive CYOA novel. The focus will mostly be on the plotline, characters, and relationships. It's inspired by many JRPGs/RPGs. It's being written in ChoiceScript. While it will have a more story-based focus, there will be stat-based mechanics as well.

This is the revamped version of my first interactive fiction project, Under the Eyes of Themis. The premise is similar, but a few changes have been made.

You play as the youngest member of the Grasslands' royal family. Your family suffers from something called a Blood Curse, a supernatural karmic-like phenomenon placed onto people and their bloodlines for committing horrendous crimes against others. Sufferers from the curse will experience tragedy after tragedy until the Curse is broken or the bloodline ceases to exist.

Your sister is the most recent victim of the curse, dying from poisoning at her coronation celebration ball. Deciding you would like to not die a tragic and/or painful death, you set out on a journey to figure out exactly what your family did and how to break the curse.

Note: Because this is still a WIP, some names of characters or places may change during development.

Dionys Topaze (he/him) - The Scholar from the Palmlands. Kind and intelligent, his main area of study are Blood Curses, the types and how to break them. He is the closest to breaking his Curse.

Somnia Disthene (she/her) - The Healer from the Fieldlands. Shy and helpful, she specializes in treatments that neutralize a Curse's affects. Just don't ask about her Curse.

Enyo Perle (he/him) OR (she/her) - The Assassin from the Floelands. Loud and outgoing, they are eager to help out the group. Although, it's a bit strange that they've never brought up their Curse.

In Under the Eyes of Themis, you are taken to the fantasy medieval-esque world of Runnet. Here, you play as the youngest child of the Diamant family of the Grasslands kingdom. Your older sister, Adalia, just happened to be born 10 minutes before you, which makes her the heir to the throne. Not that you seem to mind anyways.

The year is 1344 and the winter has recently melted away into spring, the favorite season for those in the Grasslands kingdom. The former queen, your mother, has passed away about a month ago. As your mother's heir and the oldest, your twin sister, Adalia, is coronated as queen, summoning emissaries and people from all places to recognize her as Queen of the Grasslands.

At the end of the coronation week, Adalia is poisoned and killed during the last feast. As you try to grapple with the loss of your twin, you are suddenly accused of poisoning your sister, a maid having found the vial hidden among your clothing.

You are chased out of your kingdom and manage to get help from the other lands in the area. You and your group travel across 8 lands to clear your name and figure out who framed you and killed your sister before you're arrested for a crime you didn't commit!

Play as a male, female, or non-binary Royal

Customize the way your Royal looks in the story. Will they keep their natural look or decide to change it while on the run?

Your Royal has a semi-set personality in the beginning, but you choose how being on the run affects them

Explore the world of Runnet and the 8 lands situated on the continent

Choose to romance 5 different companions: a fun and flirty Prince, the not-so-ladylike-Lady with a penchant for picking fights, the brightest Scholar of the land, a shy Farmer's daughter, or the loudest Assassin you've ever seen (or heard)

The Accused Royal - You! (player determined)

You are 24 years old. You are the youngest child in the Diamant family. You are a prince/princess/princep. You have an older twin sister. You can choose to be male, female or nonbinary. You can choose your first name but your middle name is set.

If you play as a male, the middle name is set to: Florian

If you play as a female, the middle name is set to: Floriana

If you play as non-binary, the middle name is set to: Flor

Appearance: player determined. It's said you resemble your mother most, in terms of facial structure. Female and Non-binary Royals have the option to be identical twins with Adalia.

The Queen for a Week - Adalia Elcina Diamant (she/her)

Queen Adalia is better know to you as your twin sister. She is kind and nice, if not a little bossy. She would've made a wonderful queen... It's a shame she drank all that poison.

Appearance: player determined. Has the option to be identical twins with a female or non-binary Royal.

The Crown Prince of the Woodlands Kingdom - Alceste Claudius Emeraude (he/him)

Alceste is a 24 year old man. He is the crown prince and heir to the Woodlands kingdom. Alceste is flirty and fun-loving. He likes to tease the Royal and especially, Larisilla. He is the oldest of 4 children and consistently entertains the group trying to break the tension. He seems to have a problem with taking things seriously, but behind his playful attitude and flirtatious charm, you can see something darker swirling around in his eyes. Wonder what that's all about...

Appearance: Alceste is about average in height (5'8) and has smooth, blemish-free olive skin. He is average in terms of his body, not quite muscular but not lean either. He has a bit of a chubby stomach and still retains some of his baby fat. His hair is dark brown and looks fluffy. His eyes are dark green, similar to the woods that surround his home.

The Future-Lady of the Dustlands' Council - Larisilla Cornaline (she/her)

Larisilla is a 23 year old woman. She is the daughter of the first Head of the Dustlands' Council. Larisilla is not what is expected of a lady, finding more joy in picking fights and training with her swords than learning about politics. She is uncharacteristically serious and always wears a permanent frown. She has the tendency to rub people the wrong way, being blunt and, often, rude. Still, Larisilla will always stick up for you, so it's good she's on your side... Right?

Appearance: Larisilla is a tall woman, standing at around 5'10. She is muscular and has tanned skin dotted with beauty marks. Her frame is elegant in nature. Her eyes are a dusty red, reminiscent of the mesas of her homeland. Her wavy brown hair is short, cut into a shoulder-length bob. She typically ties her side-fringe back with a cord of leather.

The Head Scholar of the Palmlands' Scholar's Hall - Dionys Topaze (he/him)

Dionys is a 26 year old man. He is the leader of the famous Scholar's Hall, located in the Palmlands. As expected, he is polite and intelligent. Dionys is kind and eloquent. He tends to be quiet while other are speaking, but will gladly entertain you on the various areas of his study. He is said to be the Brightest Scholar of the Palmlands, a title which he doesn't really like. Dionys has the tendency to accidentally speak down to people, but he doesn't mean it. You're lucky Dionys' current area of research is law...

Appearance: Dionys is a very handsome man. He is tall at around 6'3 and lean, not as visually muscular as the others. He has smooth dark skin and long braided black hair that falls to his waist. The braids are decorated with golden clips and charm. His eyes are gold as well, reflecting the dunes present in his homeland. He has a pair of gold rimmed glasses he sometimes wears for reading.

The Farmer's Daughter of the Fieldlands - Somnia Disthene (she/her)

Somnia is a 25 year old woman. She is a humble farmer's daughter from the aptly named Fieldlands. She is a bit shy and quiet, but don't get it mixed up; she isn't scared or afraid. Somnia is a bit intimidated from all the important political people in the group, but she is insistent upon being helpful. She has a wealth of practical knowledge, notably that of a seasoned healer. You're grateful she's eager to help you, so you ignore her questionable slip ups. After all, who else would have the knowledge of making poison...

Appearance: Somnia stands at about average height (5'4). She is heavy-set/fat with the muscles and strength of a woman who has been working fields since she could walk. She has light skin smattered with freckles and long loosely curled blonde hair falling to her mid-back. Her eyes are light blue with bits of grey speckled in them, similar to the rivers that run through her homeland.

The Assassin of the Floelands - Enyo Perle (he/him) or (she/her)

Enyo is gender-selectable. They are 22 years old. They are a spy from the northern Floelands. They are loud and full of energy, quite different than what you would expect from a supposed assassin. They are eager to please and a bit naive, unaware of most things happening in favor of playing with their knifes. Enyo is open about their job as an assassin. Despite the group being a bit wary around them, Enyo does the best to fit in. But is it enough? After all, an assassin's still an assassin...

Appearance: Enyo is about average in height (5'7), if they are male, and short (5'3), if they are female. They have a slender form with no visible muscle definition. They have clear pale skin. Their hair is black and straight falling to their mid-back. M!Enyo keeps his hair tied into a ponytail while F!Enyo braids hers. Their eyes are a light grey, almost white in color, mirroring the snow abundant in their homeland.

Back when the world was whole, it was presided over by the Celestial Twelve. Each held a Relic that bestowed abilities onto it's chosen Warden and provided life and magic through the land and for a while, there was peace. But greed and jealousy corrupted the people and wars broke out over the Relics. Then the Great Fracturing occurred, ripping the world into twelve shards, extinguishing the powers of the Twelve from the world completely, and the Relics were lost to time. Without the powers of the Twelve, the world was plunged into a centuries long Dark Age, suffering from famines, plagues, and wars. Until 500 years after the Fracturing, when all across the world, new Wardens began emerging from the shadows. But without their Relics, their abilities were useless. Enter the Guardians, people born with a connection to the Wardens who were tasked with protecting them as they searched the world for their Relics. For centuries, Wardens and Guardians worked in tandem to search for the Relics, but as they kept returning unsuccessful and the disasters got worse, tensions rose and bubbled over and the powers of the Twelve were once again lost. Now, 1000 years after the Fracturing, Wardens and their Guardians have started to appear again just in time as worse disasters have started to ravage the world. But with the world rife with danger and in such disarray, truly restoring the Twelve seems more like an impossible goal than reality.

The Turnwheel of the Twelve Saga is a WIP collection of 13 interactive CYOA stories all taking place in the fictional world of Astelle, a world that was once lush with life and magic, now relegated to dry empty deserts and dense industrial pollution. Each of the books follow different characters on their journeys to recover the respective Relic.

Note: Because this is still a WIP, some names of characters or places may change during development. Also, this blog serves mostly as a hub to reach all of the other planned books, so there won't be much original content added here and just reblogs.

How many words have you published in 2024?

Okay, so, I'm going to gratuitously add the words for an epic secret project, as those will be published for 2024 hehehe.

I will not count the CYOA into the mix, as it is not representative of the actual amount I wrote; I did write a few bits, but in the grand scheme of that collab, I pretty much wrote nothing.

96,881 words!

To which I'm adding around 20k words for the epic secret project, so this leads us to a total of... 116,881 words!

Well, fuck, that's a lot.

What is your greatest achievement this year?

Second greatest: getting properly back into writing.

After 8 years of writing slump keeping me at a tiny 3k words a year, this is simply unbelievable to me that I'm sometimes able to churn out that much in a single day.

First greatest achievement:

The epic secret project that you will hear all about very soon. I loved working on it and seeing it take such vibrant colours and life. It is my baby, and I am feeling genuinely sad that we are reaching the end of this project.

What are your favourite top three fics you wrote this year?

Warzone , a Poolverine fic (Marvel, Deadpool & Wolverine). Summary:

Being a mutant sucks, sometimes. Sometimes, your cells will battle one another to the death, leaving you sobbing in your bed. Or out of it. Fully naked, in the middle of Blind Al's living room.

I really had a lot of fun working on it; this is the ultimate fic format to me, it has hurt/comfort, fluff, domestic bliss, smut, and becomes a songfic. If you want to read something that has my writing identity all over it, this is the one.

Dance Our Night Away , an Ineffable Husbands fic (Good Omens), inspired by @gleafer 's art. Summary:

1944, 29th of February - leap year. Crowley and Aziraphale are invited to a ballroom dance party, and will dance- but angels don't dance, do they?

A light fic, just dancing together in a ballroom on some Frank Sinatra, was is there not to like?

My Arum Lily , an Ineffable Husbands fic (Good Omens), written for gcaledonian on the @goodomensafterdark subreddit. Summary:

Hoowee, laudanum! Last time Crowley does that!

This is 8k words of indulgent porn, I cannot say more than that, because the plot does not exist. This was written for gcaledonian over 2 months in a group chat we shared, advancing with each new prompt she gave me, until I decided I was done.

I then decided to do her a surprise: I had it beta'd, and had 7 remarkable artists do art to illustrate it.

This is The Cemetery Porn. If you like muttonchops, wings, cemetery sex, this is the fic for you.

What was your biggest pit of despair moment?

The goddamn epic secret project that I can say nothing about yet!! It has been so important to this year to me that I simply cannot not talk about it in every way. This is a crazy adventure that brought me to the greatest highs and weirdest lows, but holy shit you guys, it is gorgeous.

What have you learned?

I have learned that by being indulgent, I get other people to be indulgent with me. /whispers epic secret project

It is crazy what I managed to do, genuinely, and I still have a very hard time processing the fact that I managed to pull so many crazy people in my crazy projects. It's just... wow. Thank you, whoever is reading this and recognising yourself. I love you so much.

What fic did you want to do but never made it off the ground?

Pièce Montée, a Sanji/Pudding (One Piece) fic. I'm not letting it go, it's kinda taking the dust here but I'm keeping it alive with some strong CPR, don't worry, it's alive, I'll do something with it hahahahahahahaha

Did you beta any fics? Any favs you want to shout out?

I'm not the best at doing it; after a while, I just... lose concentration and forget to continue.

But, I beta'd for a while this fic: What Have I Lost? it is very good, very worth the read if you haven't!

What ideas are percolating for next year?

Oh wait, let me pull out my fic folder spreadsheet...

Continuing Sheltered Scars, a tattoo AU for the Ineffable Husbands (Good Omens), where Crowley is a new tattoo artist arriving in London, and Aziraphale is an art gallery holder who is a war veteran. I'm very happy with the concept, but have a hard time concentrating long enough to continue, I have to get back to it.

Continuing the edits on Down the Path of Sin, co-written with @daneecastle in a huge-ass RP and that will be added to the multiverse of her Reversed Veil of Worlds. So proud of what we did with it, it's an epic story deserving to be out there.

Writing the Ineffable Rockstars AU fic planned out with @daneecastle , @elenthyaolyenths , @vavoom-sorted-art ; expect around 15k words of it, and it's going to be so great :D

According to my spreadsheet, I should get back to Pièce Montée (see above) and to Tanabata, an Eyeshield 21 fic project that is set 10 years after the end of the story of the manga.

Those are the active WIPs. Now for the plot bunnies running havoc in my brain and waiting for an out...

Miscellaneous fandom (whichever will inspire me to make it happen): University AU - outgoing student officer x professor. This is a pure catharsis fic idea, as I'm an outgoing student officer in a university and sometimes I just need the out.

Deadpool & Wolverine fandom: Streamers AU - Logan with his headset that has like cat ears on it, his streamer name is LHowlett, but his gaming name on any platform is Wolverine. Has a daughter (Laura) who helps him out on raids, but despite his older age, he's clearly an absolute beast at gaming. People follow him because he's got a foul mouth, an absolute jerk to his friends but somehow the sweetest sweetheart when they pick up a new one on party finder- so basically, a golden mentor to new people. The X-Men are his raid party. One day, somebody is missing and they go on Party Finder to get somebody for the empty slot, and stumble on Wade. Logan complains the entire time because Wade isn't a very good listener (annoying for a raid lead) and an absolute chaos gremlin during the raid, but the stream watchers see him chuckle silently and grin for the entire session and soon enough start demanding to see that Dead Pool guy again.

Deadpool & Wolverine fandom: Consequences of the Time Ripper, they swapped and regenerated from the time ripper into each other's bodies, then swapped back pretty quickly but that was weird huh. And then it happens again. And again. And again. And they're very confused as to why, especially as it feels like random times, like they're just watching a movie and Wade bumps a foot against Logan and SWAP - I can imagine the thing feeling like a hiccup that continues for too long and after the 6-7th swap they're just "OH COME ON"! And like any good soulmate story, this finally stops when they get their shit together and finally become a couple and put the label on it. Aka: a 5 times/1 time, like "Five times Wade and Logan body swap, and one time they understand why"

Deadpool & Wolverine fandom, longfic, outlined: Baby Mine, Wade and Logan are looking to adopt; but with their situation and appearances (gay mutant couple, with strange schedules and Wade looking scary to humans), no agency really gives them a chance. One day however, Vanessa calls them, asking if they're still looking to adopt. One of her friends was found dead in her apartment, leaving behind her young baby. They do adopt the girl, and call her Ellie. Fic centered around Ellie's birthdays and other big life events as she grows up.

I... I think that should make up for most of my 2025 year.

First, thank you to @daneecastle for bringing me into a community that allowed me to meet so many people it was almost overwhelming. I never had so much of a feeling of a community, never met so many fandom people and I have you to thank for it, love.

Then of course comes @goodomensafterdark that brought so many good things to me, such a vibrant and beautiful and gorgeous community, I love seeing it thrive like it is. As a result, thank you to @vavoom-sorted-art for yelling loud enough in my ears about that community to push me to slide into it during the angst war.

You chose: Attempt to run past him and out the door when he walks in.

Fuck it. The second he opens the door and walks inside, you take the chance to run out of there while you have the chance.

“Hey!” He exclaims, caught off guard, as he sees you running towards him.

…Only, you don’t get very far.

You cry out in pain as you suddenly fall forward and straight into him. He scrambles to catch you, almost dropping whatever he’s holding in his hands as he wraps his arms around you. Your ankle throbs as a horrible stabbing pain sours through your body. You suck in a breath through clenched teeth and hold on tight to his sweater, desperately trying to hold yourself up and not put any more pressure on your ankle.

“What are you doing?” He hisses, but he sounds more worried than anything. He slowly inches you both deeper inside the room and away from the door.

You don’t know what to say, so you say nothing. He lets you wiggle out of his grip and you stumble backwards, landing roughly on the floor. Another burst of sharp pain flows through you as you quickly scramble away until your back hits the wall. He shuts the door, the sound of the lock clicking echoes through the room, and you slump down in defeat.

“You really shouldn’t do that,” he says darkly, voice suddenly sounding much more serious than before. It sends a violent shiver down your spine and you hug your knees to your chest. “I’m not letting you go.”

“Why?” You whimper, failing to stifle a sob. It hurts.

“I said I’d explain everything soon, didn’t I? Just be patient.” Sensing your terror, he sighs and softens his voice. “Calm down. I’m not going to hurt you.”

You swallow thickly, closing your eyes and attempting to calm your racing heart. That was obviously a horrible idea. You can barely walk, there’s no way you would’ve gotten past him in this state. Besides, you couldn’t run from him back in the streets, how could you do it here? You realize that attempting to escape while he’s near you never seems to end well.

You look up at him and notice he has an ice pack and bandages in hands, as well as… something else. It’s some kind of vial filled with a strange looking liquid. It’s bright green and almost looks like it’s glowing. He sets it to the side for now, but you eye it warily. Your attention is brought back to Anton when he kneels down in front of you.

He stares at you for a moment before turning away, looking for something under the bed. Your eyes go wide as he pulls out a long chain that’s attached to one of the bed legs and he shuffles closer towards you.

“Gimme your leg. This is just for precaution. I don’t want you trying to run away from me here.”

He senses your panic, but before you can say anything, he grabs your leg and clamps the chain around your good ankle, effectively restraining you. Once he lets go, you pull your leg back fearfully and curl up into a ball. You glare at him as he moves closer.

His expression softens and he holds up the ice pack he has in his hands and gestures towards you. “I have ice,” he says, “for your ankle.”

You hesitate before timidly holding your other leg out. You have no other choice at this point, and your ankle hurts. You suck in a shuddering breath as he takes hold of your ankle and begins cooling it with ice. It hurts at first but after a few moments, it starts to feel nice. You start to relax once you realize he’s not actually hurting you.

“Why did you do that?” He asks. “I told you to stay put. And you wouldn’t have gotten very far even if you weren’t hurt.” 

“You kidnapped me.”

He frowns. “…I get you must be scared, but you don’t have to be. I really don’t want to hurt you.”

You say nothing in response and Anton begins wrapping up your ankle in elastic bandages. He works quickly but gently, as if he’s being careful to not hurt you. Once your ankle is wrapped up, he hands you the ice pack and you start pressing it to your ankle again. It still hurts, but at least it’s being taken care of now.

“I wouldn’t walk on it much if I were you. I’m sure you understand why.”

You nod. He smiles, satisfied, and stands up. Grabbing that vial of liquid, he pops off the cork and holds it out to you. “Drink this. It’ll help your ankle heal.”

You scrunch your eyebrows together, confused. “…What is it?” you ask apprehensively.

“It’s… like medicine. It’s safe, I promise. It’ll help with the pain.”

At least it’s not a needle being stabbed into your skin against your will. But still, it makes sense to be wary about this. Drinking something from the guy who’d just drugged, kidnapped and restrained you doesn’t seem like such a good idea. You still don’t know what he wants with you. On the other hand, you’d do anything for the pain to stop at this point. It hurts.

i finish almost all my WIPs because i'm a freak. if i don't finish a WIP it's because some dramatic life event happened. this has only occurred two times

i don't outline or edit or re-read any of my fanfic. i just type it and then eyeball it for typos and then post it. i COULD outline and such to really make the narrative nice and tight, but i don't find it very fun to do (for fanfic) and this is like, my relaxing wind down hobby. i just wanna have fun haha. the only reason my fics like, make sense, is because i write at least one ending scene first thing and always aim for that, and also i write out of order so i kinda know the route of the story

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

it's fine if it makes sense to do it there as a narrative device

Here's completed version with a bunch of explaining below each picture! Just scroll down if you don't want to see me blabbering. (I tried to go short as much as possible)

(I have a lot of AUs and headcanons that only exist in my head and my sketchbooks. Forgive me for wanting to spill them out.)

Day 2: Randy was listening to music with earphones so he didn't know Theresa was sitting next to him. Imagine how embarrassed he would get when he knows.

Day 8: Tech-Ninja AU. It's about machinist Randy being set up by Mcfist for murdering the town hero Ninja with his invention, the Tech-Ninja armor. Then the spirit of the destroyed Nomicon travelled to his armor and become an AI, choosing him to be the next Ninja. So Randy accepted it and was determined to make up for what he caused, when nobody except Howard, the boss of Weinerman industries, trusted him.

Day 10: Apocalypse AU. It's about Randy lost the battle at the end of season 2 and became the prisoner of the Sorcerer. The Nomicon was handed to Howard before that, and they later recruited survivors to form a resistance against the Sorcerer. Then Randy was stanked, but instead of turning into a monster, he was brainwashed and given the power of creating his own red and black stank. And- You know what will happen. (Inspired by the Darkness of Randy Cunningham)

Day 13: Elemental trial AU. You can say it's my take on what will happen in season 3. The Carp god was under the cover of a random carpfish as Norisville mascot. After a series of events it was awaken and gave Randy the power of Ice Rage.

Day 14: I think there's more than just the blood of First Ninja's brothers, since nobody knows how to destank people at the beginning...

Day 17: The Warrior might have been living or sleeping there, waiting for some ninjas to wake him up or consult him about his forbidden arts. (Ha, It's kinda like Eclipsa in Star vs. the forces of Evil)

Day 18: Or it can be called the New Generation AU. In the future, Randy took the place of Messager as well as the Ninja Guardian, while Brent became the new Sword Smith and Sorceress became their main villain. I am not really good at designing OCs so there's no next ninja yet.

However, I read a fanfic of another fandom in the form of CYOA, and it gave me new idea: just let the reader be the next ninja, it will be fun, too. (Also, this AU was inspired by an RC9GN fanfic titled from the past to the future, where future Randy became Ninja Guardian. But I couldn't find it on fanfiction.net any more. Has anyone read it? I didn't dream about it, right?)

Day 19: During that time I got even crazier after I read Enter the Nomicon. It's hard to believe I had a crazy period of shipping Randicon, even for myself. Especially weird for me since I now have a completely different view about Nomicon (peek at my Yokai Ninja AU comics). Time really can change a person, wow.

Day 21: Yes, a whole page just for this headcanon. I used the screenshots in the show because it's too hard to draw. The barrier thing is kinda like the one that held Bill's power in the range of Gravity Falls.

Day 23: Danny: the Walking Air-Conditioner. Inspired by a chapter of Secret Quartet. Danny phased his hand through the scarf. Just imagine your friend put a cold hand inside your scarf in winter. *shiver*

Day 25: Besides Ninja vine ball, there are also spike ball, gas ball, sonic ball, rainbow illusion ball, tear ball and so on. I just pick the most common one from my ninja balls headcanons to put in here.

Day 27: You may see I prefer using numbers to refer episodes, because that's how I track and rewatch them. To be more specific, I list some keywords here: NomiRandy, First Ninja, Debbie, Tengu. As fellow RC9GN Fans I'm sure you get it.

Day 30: It's a half-baked AU thing. The flowers I tried to draw are rosemary?

So, I've realized I'm not as excited about the CYOA as I have been in the past, which is why I've been taking so long between entries. But instead of abandoning it, I'm going to finish it off and make it have an even 30 parts. This will be the last entry where you can choose which direction it goes in, so let's decide together what the ending will be! No nuance, you have to pick one option here, and I will write something to cap it off nice and neat by extrapolating from the vibes here.

Valen immediately goes red all the way to the tips of his ears, which twitch. "They're naturally high in a compound that is of interest to me for a research project." He sounds mortified to be talking about this. "I'm sorry. I won't come back for them. I'll forget all about it. That's all it was. I would never come here to harm any humans."

"Um," Felix says. "I don't really get it, but that's too silly to make up as a lie, I guess."

Valen sinks down, shoulders at his ears, not making eye contact.

Well, now you know. The vampire you've rescued was here collecting mushrooms for a research project. He seems...decent enough.

Ok, so huh.

This is my first series so I don't really know how to do this, or what to do exactly but well, I'll just write what comes to my mind (at least I think that's how it is supposed to be? Idk)

So yeah, this series will be based on this post, and it's meant to be a CYOA, so you'll be the one to choose what happens next in the story as the hero Caretaker of a very traumatized Whumpee that you and your team just rescued!
