good morning.

today i wake up kind of positive. covid positive lol. im sick and on medication. but i was feeling light in heart. i had breakfast, then took my pills. i was thinking about my past. i recalled the song" somebody that i used to know" . It's very accurate for me, all these people are somebody that i used to know now. i didn't even needed their love but they treat me like stranger and it was not necessary. also they owed me an explanation and the truth but they were too low to pay these. i'm above all the past needs for people who didn't like me. now i accepted the fact that no one actually liked me. and it feels ok now because before i was thinking they like me and treat me like this but now i know the truth. also future stresses me out so i will stop thinking about the future and live day by day.

Thanks to @d.j._s spending his lunch break running all over town for me I have started a third round of antibiotic, have fancy new bronchial meds, and after 3 weeks without, a new CPAP machine! It’s a good thing he helps me breathe more than he takes my breathe away 💜💜💜. It has been so hard on him I’m sure dealing with a useless, needy, moody invalid for 23 days now. Especially when he was so sick himself (and I gave it to him). He is the best and I’m so grateful for his love and support. I’ve never had anyone help me so much or take such good care of me.

@everettruss and Kia Nelson have been great keeping DJ’s business going after I got him sick. And checking on us often and bringing us food and groceries. And helping me contain my demon cats who are determined to escape the paradise they built them.

Sara Nameth rescued me last week bringing me an oximeter, blood pressure monitor, and thermometer. Knowing my oxygen has made it a lot easier to manage covid pneumonia. And was a huge help during my telemedecine visit today.

My doctor put me on another antibiotic for suspected secondary bacterial pneumonia. If the fever isn’t gone Friday back to the hospital I go. No work until next week at the earliest. I am useless anyway with the fever and pneumonia.

My work has been so great and understanding even though I haven’t worked since Nov 4. Critical deadlines have been missed by weeks. But there’s nothing I can do. I’m so grateful to be part of the Forest Service Family since 1999.

FML my boss called me and we have so many covidpositive residents that we can’t even do one to one visits on the first floor and she told me to only work Sunday morning like I don’t have to do the afternoon? Which is fine but I’m also nervous that there’s bad news or something but I think it’s mostly bc there’s just not the people to do activities with! There’s way less people on the second floor!

Looking at these pictures I’ve taken over the last few days makes me feel sad. I look so depleted. Being sick with Covid has completely upended my life. The fatigue is relentless. I’ve had the worst migraines of my life, with searing light sensitivity. I’m plagued with almost constant vertigo, and my blood pressure has been so high at times that I’ve been worried about risk of stroke. I’ve had 2 urgent care visits and 2 ER stays. When I imagined what being sick with Covid would be like over the last 2 years, I mostly imagined gasping for breath and wheezing, with primarily respiratory symptoms. But it’s been more cardiovascular and neurological for me. My lab work from the ER last night showed elevated liver enzymes and decreased kidney function. It’s wreaking havoc on so many body systems. I’m grateful that I’m vaccinated and boosted, and I fell ill with Covid in the omicron surge (rather than the original Covid and Delta waves). I’m trying to get a little bit of exercise by slowly walking around my house. You’ve heard of Cupid’s Shuffle…this is my Covid shuffle. I miss going to the gym and having cardio workouts. I’m sad to lose my 38 week gym streak. But I’m resting, taking my vitamins, hydrating, and doing what I can to beat this. Hi, everyone. I am Fate Cunanan, a medical doctor from the Philippines. So a lot have been messaging me to do reaction videos as a medical doctor ever since I started this channel from Kdramas to Medical Series and the like. But I was hesitant to do it for so long but this video from Mam Divine Lee struck me the most since I am a fan of her, ever since. And I want to use this platform to share with you what I understand from it as a medical doctor. I am personally praying for everyone to be safe and healthy especially our COVID-19 patients.
