#postscript;#if you try to tell me cain and abel were not brothers in christ shut up pls #i've studied theology for nearly a decade. i know more than you.#christ's harrowing of hell exists to retroactively turn all of humanity even before his existence into ''brothers'' in christ #because it is not a literal term it is an evangelist term. bc christianity in all denominations is evangelistic in nature #not being a christian is 1. a moral incorrect choice according to them and #2. not actually possible. everyone is judged as a christian everyone is fundamentally supposed to be christian #calling someone a brother in christ is just calling them christian.#so ergo according to doctrine cain and abel are in fact brothers in christ #but #and this is far more important than any of that #i was not trying to be perfectly accurate to the theological timeline of the tanakh vs torah vs old testament vs new testament vs apocrypha #i was trying to make a silly one line joke on the internet #and all you do when you try to go Well Actually They Werent is make yourself look stupid and pedantic.#so for the love of god stop it with needing to be right online im so bored and tired

tim and damian are the exact same level of annoying-know-it-all.

Tim is definitely an 🤓umactually type BUT he can concede a point once proven wrong.

Damian is far less likely to 🤓👆 BUT he has a big ol' superiority complex and would rather start a physical fight than concede a point.

Together, they r a whole menace. The most annoying entity in your college class. Truly powerful stuff. They can clear a room just by holding a civil (well they think it's civil) conversation.

who is the better dancer? They’re both equally delightful, goddammit

who likes the outdoors more and who likes the indoors more? Two professors in love? They’re both indoor homebodies. However, Cain is still partial to nature after his time in Glass.

who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person? They both strike me as cat people, which I think is an aspect that makes their relationship work so well.

who’s more social? Marco, but only barely!

who makes the bed every morning? They make it together

who likes to keep the house cold and who likes to keep the house warm? Cain definitely prefers warmer weather — one thing he doesn’t miss from staying in Glass in upstate New York. So he keeps the house warm for sure. Sorry Marco if you have a problem with that.

who takes longer getting ready? I think they take an equally long time. They’re both juuuuuust a little vain.

who likes scary movies and who likes funny ones? Cain strikes me as one of those crazy people who doesn’t like movies at all. Marco strikes me as preferring comedies. Cain will, of course, sit through just about anything for his man.

who screams when they see a bug and who ends up killing it? Cain kills the bugs. Neither of them scream (externally).

who is more technology challenged? The idea of them both being technologically-challenged academics adjusting to a new age is funny to me, so I’ll say they’re both equally challenged.

who would be more likely to burn something in the oven? Cain. Sorry — he forgot!

who talks in their sleep? Cain — sorry — side effect of all the drugs he did in Glass.

who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? Neither >:(

who likes getting dressed up more? Aw, they both like dressing up for each other, when the situation calls for it.

who’s better at tying ties? Marco <3

who recorded the answering machine message on the house phone? Marco. Cain has mixed feelings about his accent, which is fucked up and not fair to him, but Marco is still trying to get him comfortable with himself and the fact that this is also his house.

who’s better at planning romantic things? Ugh, they both are. I think they’re so thoughtful and attentive towards each other.

who takes up more space in the closet? Marco — Cain is pretty minimalistic.

who has more of a sweet tooth? Probably Marco? Cain doens’t really have one.

who drinks more often? Cain has struggled with substance abuse. He drinks considerably less now that he’s with Marco. But I still think they’re both fairly heavy drinkers.

who is most likely to laugh during a serious situation? Neither!!!
