Nikolai laughed and start paying attention to the spot right behind your ears.

You felt Fyodor's warm breath on your face. You close your eyes and his fingers started massaging your eyelids.

"Myshonok, will this pillow ever give you a massage during cuddles?"

You whimper again.

"No..."

Fyodor didn't answer, but, instead, softly kissed your eyelids.

Meanwhile, Nikolai chuckled.

"So, one point to us. No points to pillows. Next round."

Position was changed.

Now you were laying face to face with Nikolai. You felt Fyodor's breath on your neck, before he starts leaving small kisses on it. Nikolai's fingers run up and down your scalp, massaging it.

And you feel even more embarrassed.

Fyodor spoke again.

"So, do you want to explain, what the deal with the pillows?"

Once again, without waiting for your answer, Fyodor continues to lightly kiss your neck.

You spoke. Your voice was trembling.

"I... I didn't know... that you were self-aware... Order them almost a year ago... Forgot about it..."

Nikolai playfully boops your nose.

"And didn't know about the bonus pillow cases."

You nod. You feel even warmer now. Fyodor and Nikolai laughed. Fyodor started nibbling on your ear.

"I am not asking about that, Myshonok."

You were pretty sure, that you became ad hot as desert sand.

"I... I was so lonely... Before you arrived. I wanted to... Pretend, that I have someone in my life."

They were quiet. Then you felt Fyodor's lips on your cheek.

"Than today we will show you, that you will never be alone again, Myshonok"

Nikolai kissed the corner of your mouth.

"Don't worry, Birdy, we will take care of you. Just enjoy the warmth. And forget about the pillows."

Nikolai's grin became sly.

"But, please, remember, did you order pillow with us with... Adult print?"

You let out a muffled scream, hiding your face in Nikolai's chest.

You had a feeling, that they will never forget about dakimakuras.

What came next, you can describe with only one word. Heaven. Almost.

Without teasing about prints on pillows, it would be even grater.

You were warm.

You were cuddling with Fyodor and Nikolai.

One moment you were laying on Fyodor's chest, and he was showering your forehead in kisses.

The second moment, you were pressed against Nikolai's chest and he was kissing your hands.

You were pampered. You were caressed.

You weren't alone.

You fall asleep between Fyodor and Nikolai.

As the Easter Season comes up, I have a small reminder to give everyone.

Please, for the love of God, do EXTENSIVE research before going to get a bunny. A bunny is NOT an appropriate pet for a child. They are a massive commitment and require freedom, expensive care, and a lot of patience.

If you are one of those people who will go buy a bunny for Easter because it's cute (without doing proper research), you can go fuck yourselves. You are part of the problem of hundreds of bunnies being abandoned year after year.

I say this as someone who has a bunny and loves bunnies more than people at times.

Some things to consider:

- Bunnies can live up to 12-13 years. With bunnies becoming more popular and people learning how to properly care for them, the age keeps going up. When we first got our bunny, the minimum age was 6 years.

- They are animals who like to run and explore. They require SIGNIFICANT room to be comfy. Do not keep them in a cage!

- They require SPECIFIC veterinary care from a doctor who specializes in exotics. And even at that, you need to advocate for your bunnies. It is also important to get them fixed ASAP as it will prevent health problems in the future.

- THEY ARE PREY ANIMALS!!! They are hardwired to think everything wants to eat them. They will not be comfortable with you picking them up and snuggling them! I have had my bunny for almost 10 years. He has only JUST started snuggling up to me and only in SPECIFIC circumstances. It is EXTREMELY rare for a bunny to come up to you right away. It takes weeks of bribing them with treats and toys, getting down on the floor with them, and just giving them space and patience to explore and grow to trust you.

- They require A LOT of care and maintenance. This means brushing, clipping nails, bunny proofing everything (because they are masters of chaos and will chew everything).

There's a lot more I can say about bunnies. If you've read all this and are still considering adopting one, do your due diligence. There are PLENTY of resources available online. They are A LOT, but they can also bring so much love and joy into your life.

Bunnies are forever, NOT just for Easter.

Authors note: Hello! Sorry for the very delayed updates 😭 unfortunately once I started posting about it I started having a writers block. So hopefully this isn’t too bad! I also made it longer to make up for the very bad update schedule. And it’s also sort of a slow burn but next chapter there will be more interactions between both groups don’t worry! Also, don’t forget to read the writing section! It’s just a cute little interaction outside of texting!

You paced back and forth in your small apartment, your eyes darting nervously toward the dog you had found in the park. "What am I going to do?" You muttered, feeling a mix of panic and guilt. You had brought the dog home thinking it was abandoned, but now you weren’t so sure. What if it had an owner?

Just then, there was a loud knock on the door. When you opened it, Niki and Heeseung stood there, both barely able to contain their laughter.

"Y/N, are you serious?" Heeseung said, stepping inside with a wide grin. "You actually thought stealing a dog was a good idea?"

Niki burst out laughing. "Yeah, Y/N, you're supposed to take candy from a baby, not a dog from a park!"

You groaned and pointed to the dog, which was now chewing on one of your sneakers. "I didn't steal her! She was all alone and looked lost, so I brought her home. But now I'm not sure if she was really abandoned or just ran away from her owner."

Niki crouched down to pet the dog, still chuckling. "Well, genius, did you check if she had a collar or any identification before kidnapping her?”

You shook your head. "Nothing. No collar, no microchip, at least none that I can see."

Heeseung plopped down on the couch, trying to keep a straight face. "So let me get this straight. You found a dog with no ID and just decided to bring her home? What if someone did that with you?"

Niki grinned. "Yeah, Y/N, you might want to watch out. Someone might 'accidentally' steal you next time you're out without your ID."

You rolled her eyes but couldn't help but laugh. "Very funny, guys. But seriously, what do I do now?"

Heeseung chuckled. "We could put up posters in the park and around the neighborhood. If someone is looking for their dog, they'll see the posters. We could also take her to a vet to see if she has a microchip."

"That sounds like a good plan," You said, feeling a bit more at ease. "But... what if no one claims her? What do I do then?"

Niki shrugged, still smiling. "Well, if no one claims her, I guess you'll have a new roommate. And by the looks of it, she’s already claimed your sneaker as her favorite toy."

Heeseung laughed. "Yeah, you might want to start dog-proofing your apartment. She’s going to need a lot of attention and training."

You watched the dog, who was now happily gnawing on the sneaker, and sighed. "I guess you're right. But what if I'm not ready for this? I mean, I don't even know how to take care of a dog."

Niki put a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "Don't worry, Y/N. We'll help you out. It's not like you're doing this alone. Plus, there are tons of resources online. You can learn everything you need to know."

Heeseung nodded. "And we'll be here to help. It might actually be fun. Think of all the adventures we'll have with a dog around."

Just then, the dog let out a tiny bark and pounced on Heeseung's shoelace, pulling it undone. Heeseung tried to shake the dog off, but it only made the dog more excited. "Hey! That's my only pair of decent shoes!" he exclaimed, hopping around on one foot.

You couldn't help but laugh. "Looks like she has a thing for shoes. Maybe I should start a shoe donation drive."

Niki snickered. "Or you could just buy her, her own pair of sneakers."

You smiled, feeling a bit more confident. "Alright, let's do this. First, we'll check for a microchip, and if no one claims her, I'll keep her. But you guys better be ready to help out."

Niki and Heeseung high-fived each other. "Deal!" they said in unison.

As you all sat down to brainstorm your next steps, the dog trotted over and curled up at your feet, looking up at you with big, trusting eyes. You couldn't help but feel a surge of affection. Maybe this unexpected turn of events wasn't so bad after all.

Suddenly, the dog let out a tiny sneeze, startling everyone. "Bless you!" You said, chuckling. "I guess she’s allergic to bad decisions, so keeping her must be a good one."

Niki and Heeseung burst out laughing. "Looks like we've got ourselves a little comedian”

What You Need to Crochet

This should be a no-brainer, but here are the essentials, plus some other things that may be helpful.

1: Yarn

This one should be obvious, but if you're going to crochet, you need yarn. Yarn comes in a number of different thicknesses, and can be made from a wide range materials. The type of yarn you want depends on what project you want to make. If you're just starting out, I recommend a cheap worsted/medium weight yarn that you won't be afraid to use up and mess up. Otherwise, I highly recommend buying local if you can, though locally produced yarns will be more expensive. I will have a post on different types of yarn and several places to get it in a later post.

2: Crochet Hooks

The next thing you're going to want is a crochet hook. They come in a variety of thicknesses and are most commonly made of aluminum, plastic, and wood, though there are some smaller ones made of steel. Some have nice rubber grips, though the cheaper ones are usually made of solid aluminum. I personally don't find much difference between the rubber grip and bare aluminum, but there probably is a noticeable difference for the smaller hooks.

The crochet hook sizes are measured in millimeters internationally, and also with letters or numbers in the US. The size you need will depend again on what yarn you are using and what you are trying to make. The thicker your yarn, the thicker a crochet hook you will want. If you are making an amigurumi toy, you will need a thinner hook to get tighter stitches. Below are some of my crochet hooks. The purple one at the bottom is the largest I have, and the one at the top is my smallest one and is 0.75mm. 15mm is about the top of the range for crochet hooks and generally what you would use for jumbo weight yarns, though there are certainly larger ones out there. The smallest I have seen is 0.4 mm, which is used for micro crochet, which uses sewing thread to crochet.

3: Stitch Markers

These come in a wide range of shapes, but the ones in the picture are the most common. They also make some that are just plastic rings, others that have lobster clasps. You can also use safety pins or a piece of yarn in a contrasting color. They're used often to mark places for arm holes, if you are working flat, and to mark either the beginning or end of each round if you are working in rounds (either with a slip stitch to join, or a continuous spiral). If you are working in the round stitch markers are absolutely necessary, especially for amigurumi where you are working in a continuous spiral. Trust me on this one, especially as a beginner, if you think you can keep count of stitches, That Is The Devil Talking.

4: Tapestry/Wool Needles

These come in either bent or straight variety, in plastic and metal. They're used for weaving in ends at the end of a project, as well as sewing pieces together. You can also use a crochet hook to weave in ends, though I'm not as sure about sewing pieces together.

5: Patterns

I recommend picking a pattern when you first start out. Amigurumi patterns are great because they're small and only use single crochet stitches. Sometimes they can be made in a day or weekend, though some may take longer. Simple hats, gloves, scarves, or shawls are also decent beginner projects. You can find a plethora of free patterns online, as well as some paid ones. There are also many pattern books available on Amazon and at your local bookstore.

6: Pattern-Specific Notions

Depending on what you are making, you may need other things, like toy stuffing and safety eyes for amigurumi, or buttons for a cardigan or other garment. If you are making a stuffed toy to give to a small child or pet, embroider the eyes and other details on with crochet thread instead of using safety eyes, as safety eyes are a choking hazard.

7: Other Helpful Items

Something to keep your yarn from escaping. You can find really pretty yarn bowls online to keep your yarn from rolling across the floor while you work (this particularly will happen if you start from the end on the outside of the skein), but you can use a box or shopping bag or basket as well.

Storage. You will especially want something to keep your crochet hooks, wool needles, and stitch markers together so they don't disappear into the void. I keep all of mine in an empty glass jar that originally contained coffee. I keep my yarn in a set of plastic drawers.

Decoy Yarn For The Yarn Thief. If you're in the same situation as me and live with a yarn thief, then an extra skein to distract them so they won't steal and accidentally frog (undo the stitches) your project might be helpful. Mine for whatever reason is specifically attracted to wool, but also likes the velvet yarn and cotton lace I got.
