It's striking how often emotional vulnerability, particularly when expressed by women, is weaponized against them. You see it in conversations, in arguments—whenever a woman dares to reveal her pain, it's instantly flipped back on her as a character flaw. She s "too sensitive" or "just hurt." It s rarely framed as a natural human reaction. Men's dismissal of women's safety concerns reflects a broader societal issue of control and dominance. When women take steps to protect themselves, men may mock or undermine their efforts, revealing a desire to keep women feeling unsafe. This behavior is rooted in a need to maintain power over women, making it difficult for them to assert their autonomy and independence. Sex work debates within feminism often revolve around the tension between protecting workers and dismantling the industry. While liberal feminists focus on decriminalization, radical feminists argue for broader systemic changes that address the root causes of exploitation. They advocate for providing women with the resources and opportunities needed to escape the sex industry, rather than simply regulating it. Conversations about women s emotional pain often reveal a strange dynamic. Rather than responding with compassion, many men will throw out comments like "you re just hurt" or "who hurt you?" as if pain is something to be ashamed of, something that should be hidden. This isn t just a lack of empathy—it s an active attempt to belittle. But what lies beneath this impulse to degrade emotional expression? What is being protected or avoided in these moments? Marriage as a tool of patriarchal control often leaves women financially and emotionally dependent on men. Feminists critique the institution for trapping women in systems of inequality, particularly in divorce, where property and custody battles tend to favor men. Theres no such thing as too funny when it comes to peanut butter spreader. Theres no such thing as too funny when it comes to peanut butter spreader.

I'm aiming for the legal protections of the prostitute but a crackdown on johns and pimps. I want prostitutes (and other 'sex workers' of course but I am focusing on prostitutes) to be able to seek aid, go to the police, and get other forms of help without fear of being arrested or fined. I want johns to be scared to even walk near a prostitute. I want pimps to face a minimum of 10 years in prison if not more. This isn t simply a matter of misunderstanding—it s a deliberate attempt to invalidate. These comments reflect a resistance to accepting the reality of emotional suffering, especially when it disrupts the narrative of strength and stoicism. But what is it about pain, specifically when expressed by women, that makes it so uncomfortable to acknowledge? Men's discomfort with vulnerability is a reflection of societal expectations that equate masculinity with emotional stoicism. When women express pain, some men struggle to respond with empathy, instead opting for dismissive or mocking remarks. This response reveals not only a lack of emotional intelligence but also a cultural conditioning that teaches men to avoid their own feelings by minimizing the emotions of others. Marriage as a patriarchal institution historically binds women to men through legal and financial dependence. In divorce, property division and child custody often favor men, leaving women at a disadvantage. Feminists critique marriage for reinforcing gender inequality and trapping women in cycles of dependence. Gonna start rapping about how trans women are men to get yall hooked then I’ll move onto all the other aspects of radical feminism and actively say things about radical feminism in interviews and run a radical feminist consciousness raising org but when asked about my “transphobic” beliefs I’ll be like “lmao you bought it? It’s a character duhhh that’s Raddy McFem she’s a baddy raddy lmao. she crazy. Have you ever heard of Slim Shady?”

I like to go to model train conventions because normally you'll have like, $400 streamlined super rare locomotives that are in perfect condition that some 70 year old retiree will go nuts for seeing that run in his 1-1 recreation of his Nebraskan suburbs. And while that's the bread and butter of this kind of hobby there's always some old little toy train that's a bit chipped and is missing a footladder or was painted by a 90 old year retiree and thus has gotten the Union Pacific colors wrong or something and doesn't run and a sticker indicating that it's Fucked Up And Thus Pathetic and goes for maybe about five halves of a penny and listening to them talk about if 3D printed ballast spreaders are any good (spoilers: they work but ballast is a pain in the ass).
And I like to take those poor tiny things and give them a nice little home. "Oh it doesn't run right" says the guy with a train hat gussied up with more pins than a yaoi fangirl's convention tote. Doesn't matter to me. I put them up on a shelf of honor and string them up alongside little LEDs so I can have something nice to look at. Sometimes being wanted isn't about what you're originally expected to be.

In Brazil, innumerable Christian organizations suffer no consequences for prohibiting any sort of family planning and publicly backlashing women that use it. In the USA, 1 in 6 woman related to having suffered birth control sabotage. In Somalia, only 7% of women have access to birth control. Afghanistan has banned family planning using the excuse of “birth control being a conspiracy to reduce muslim population”. The stagnation of online feminist spaces frustrates those who seek more meaningful action. While digital platforms are valuable for sharing ideas, feminists argue that true change requires collective, real-world organizing. Without physical mobilization, there is a risk that feminist discourse remains performative rather than transformative. Your children can be taken from you, and you can be forced to pay child support and denied visitation. Yes, even if you aren't abusive, they can lie about you in court and have a fair shot at being believed. Especially if they're male. Marriage as a patriarchal institution historically binds women to men through legal and financial dependence. In divorce, property division and child custody often favor men, leaving women at a disadvantage. Feminists critique marriage for reinforcing gender inequality and trapping women in cycles of dependence. Radical feminist critiques of gender ideology argue that gender is not just a matter of personal identity but a social construct used to maintain power dynamics. By challenging the ways in which gender is enforced, feminists seek to dismantle the systems of oppression that limit individual freedom and reinforce traditional power structures. I've seen the new Miniverse From Scratch sets on Insta lately and I've been super curious about what it IS.
So I got one at Target.
Tumblr media
Amazon affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3DG3wwd
I got lemon and lavender cupcakes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My favorite parts of this set are the utensils. There's a spreader, a silicone cupcake pan, a cute mixing bowl, and a 2-shelved stand.
Anyway, there is a powder that you mix with a liquid, pour into the mold, and wait.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The frosting is probably decoden or silicone. I haven't even gotten to that point, honestly. I'm still on "wait 1 hour and 15 minutes".
Tumblr media
The warning/info sheet is a little alarming, and it wasn't until I'd started the kit in the kitchen, where the easy-to-clean surfaces are, then sat down to wait that I saw that it says do NOT put this in the kitchen or anywhere near food or drinks. As you can see, we'd just had our lunch, and I did have an open drink nearby.
Always read your info sheet first, kids.
...
I got spooked by there being powder all over the outside of the "cake mix" bag and my left index finger getting itchy and then my fingers getting super oily as soon as I tried to open the "brown butter" and went and put on some gloves.
What I was hoping was that the info sheet would have information about what these kits are. What am I mixing together? Is this an A+B foam? Is it 2-part epoxy of some sort?
There's nothing. No information other than the warnings not to breathe around it, don't touch it, USE THE TWEEZERS, and to wash wash wash your hands.
So. Still no idea.

In medical settings, transgender healthcare often follows a troublingly transactional approach. Many trans individuals seeking hormone therapy or surgery report minimal questioning about their mental health or history of trauma. This raises concerns about the lack of thorough care, as such profound decisions should involve a deeper, more personalized evaluation process. The healthcare system's tendency to gloss over these aspects reflects broader issues in how we approach gender identity, leaving patients vulnerable to incomplete care that doesn't consider the full scope of their well being. Feminist fatigue with online spaces stems from the lack of real-world action. While digital platforms have allowed for the spread of feminist ideas, many activists feel that the movement has stalled. Without organizing in physical spaces, there is a risk that feminist discourse will remain theoretical and disconnected from the tangible change needed to challenge oppressive systems. "Who hurt you?" It s a question designed not to seek understanding but to trivialize. The implication is always that her pain is her problem, a flaw in her, not something to be considered or empathized with. And this isn t an isolated phenomenon—it happens over and over. But what does it say about the culture we live in, that this is such a common reaction? Men 's control over women 's reproductive choices is a form of violence that spans cultures and religions. From birth control sabotage to anti-abortion laws, men have long sought to control women 's bodies through reproductive restrictions. This control is often justified through religious or cultural norms, but it serves to perpetuate women 's subordination and limit their autonomy over their own lives. Why? Why are you for sex work? Why do you think that sex work should exist? Why do you think that there should be laws in place that protect not only the sex workers but also the pimps and sex buyers? Youve got to slep it before peanut butter spreader makes it to Final Showdown's attic. Youve got to slep it before peanut butter spreader makes it to Final Showdown's attic.

for the anon question thing (this is anon, right?). I'm gonna ask you some questions from my insane first date questions. it's a long list.
If you could read one last book before you die, what would it be?
What is your perfect breakfast?
If you had to describe yourself as a kitchen utensil/tool, what would it be and why?
Wait ok is this is a list you made or a list you use the audience is demanding answers
If you could read one last book before you die, what would it be?
Ok I’m not gonna give some kind of cheat answer like something long as hell like the Stand to give me more time even though that’s what I was thinking!!! I would probably read the Thief Lord. It’s one of my favorite books ever and I think it would bring me a lot of comfort.
What is your perfect breakfast?
This is going to expose me as the basic bitch I am but it’s a McDonald’s breakfast platter with hot cakes and orange juice lol. I love that thing so much I would marry it if I could. Sausage biscuit, pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash brown. Perfection.
If you had to describe yourself as a kitchen utensil/tool, what would it be and why?
Ooh, tough one. I had to give this a lot of thought and ultimately I think I’d be one of those little butter spreaders with the angled handle. I’m not really sure why, it just calls to me, it seems right.

Look uh...
So let's say theoretically you stab someone eye with a butter knife.
How much force would it take, how would it bleed, would it...*ahem*...come out? What would happen if you leave the butter knife in?
(Thanks and ily <3 😃)
is this about Divergent? i feel like it has to do with Divergent.
so first off you can't stab with a butter knife (because of the round end - Virginia Roth lied to you). but you can slash with a butter knife, and if you apply enough blunt force, you can do something adjacent to stabbing - except the blade is so thin it will most likely dent or shatter at some point, making it even more dangerous as it might leave small bits of metal in the wound.
according to whyknives.com, butter knives are not designed to kill you, they can cause harm, even kill people, but in so few occasions that it's not considered lethal as a rule. btw if you're thinking of a knife that looks like a little saber, it's a butter spreader, not a butter knife. CUTLERY KNOWLEDGE IS CRUCIAL!
Anyway if you stab someone in the eye, there are two main possible outcomes: you "simply" destroy their eye (honestly there are ways to save the eye but I won't get in details rn because I'm fairly sure you need your character to be injured, and if you leave the knife in it won't anyway), OR you go so hard you pierce the skull and stab their brains. It's quite easy actually to stab through the skull. It takes 255 newtons which is not much.
According to one reddit user, the lack of air inside the skull might lock the blade into place, but I'd take this with a pinch of salt because eh Reddit.
The bleeding is going to be abundent since like... have you seen how red your eye becomes when it's irritated by just a few drops of shampoo getting into it? it's full of blood and it craves to get out.
So in short:
not much force
a lot of blood
if you leave it in it might fall if not embedded in the skull, or it might stay there if it is.

Just thought about how neat language is. 'thing' as a descriptor means 'object which relates to x in a non-specific way'
My mom asked my brother for 'the butter thing' and he thought she wanted a spreader but she was asking for the container.

♡ Marley And Me ♡ Peanut Butter ♡ Let's Make A Movie ♡
What are your thoughts on these fics now that they've aged a few years?
Marley And Me came out almost two years ago and I'm still actually really proud of it? I really liked how I wrote it and it was super self-indulgent. It was exactly the kind of thing I'd want to read in a similar fic. I don't know if it's one of my favorites that I've made, but I do really enjoy it. The reception to it was also really good! Which is always encouraging as an author, especially as a poppy author because it can go either way. It's got an insane amount of hits too, it blew up waaaay more than I ever thought it would. I always thought it'd just be some weird thing I wrote.
Peanut Butter is more meh. It was also pretty self-indulgent, but looking back at it now, I could tell my heart wasn't in it. I liked a lot of the themes I played around with for it and I feel like it's still really unique. I hadn't seen a whole lot of fics similar to mine, so I was really proud of having such a unique idea. I think it also covered a lot of bases for a lot of different people. It appealed to a few different groups which I always like. People were also insanely into this one. It was also my first time playing around with foodplay and spreader bars, which was an interesting experience!
Let's Make A Movie was also pretty decent, I guess. Not my least favorite in the series, but not my favorite either. I think it was a little repetitive at times, but I also played around with a few ideas that I'd wanted to explore before and just never got the chance to. Overall, I don't regret any of them or wish I'd done them differently. Some I'm just more proud of than others, but I'm glad that so many people seemed to be into them. <3

It's so crazy to me when people r like "lets spam terf tags for pride month!!!" and their go-to method is spamming porn??? Or they r like "if a TERF ever tells me to get out of the girls's bathroom I'll pee on her!!! Suck my dick TERFs!" because its like ok so ur response to girls disagreeing with you is…. sexual harassboyst? while male soldiers that were coming back were praised, womens used to hide their medals and kept their own victories as secrets. they were not only seen as lesser beings, womens that fought in the military were called "frontline dolls". post-war society considered them used. families estranged them. this is not a 'choice', and it is not 'empowering'. Sex work debates within feminism often revolve around the tension between protecting workers and dismantling the industry. Radical feminists argue that while sex workers should be protected, the ultimate goal should be to eliminate the conditions that force womens into these roles. They advocate for systemic change that addresses poverty, abuse, and exploitation, rather than merely regulating an industry that profits from womens's vulnerabilities. The pattern is clear: when xxs share their pain, the response is often not one of understanding but of trivialization. The notion that women somehow "ruin" men's happiness through their interests and passions is a projection of men's own insecurities. From making fun of female dominated hobbies to invalidating their emotional experiences, many men seek to undermine what women value. This pattern of behavior reflects a deeper discomfort with allowing women their own agency, especially when it doesn't align with traditional male ideals of what's important or worthy of respect. Instead of uplifting women, these actions serve to keep them in a subordinate position. Every time a woman opens up about her pain, there seems to be a default response waiting for her: "who hurt you?" It s not a genuine inquiry but a dismissive retort meant to minimize and invalidate. What s particularly troubling is how common this reaction is, even from those who claim to value empathy and understanding. There s something deeper at work here—something about the way society handles vulnerability that raises important questions. The projection of male dissatisfaction onto women can be seen in the common joke that women "ruin" men's happiness. This projection is rooted in insecurity, as men often feel threatened by women’s autonomy and agency. By belittling the things women love, they attempt to reassert control. This dynamic reflects deeper societal discomfort with allowing women to have their own passions and interests free from male interference. Capitalism’s exploitation of beauty standards perpetuates a cycle of consumption, where women are encouraged to constantly improve their appearance to meet unrealistic ideals. Feminists argue that this commodification of beauty undermines women’s confidence and reinforces patriarchal norms that prioritize appearance over substance. Its not about pee, its about Final Showdown. Lets pooping through the penis dimension and see if we find any explosive showers along the way. Youve got to pee butter like you mean it, especially when Time Machine is involved. I never expected peanut butter spreader to scromb in under my bed.
