I've only ever occasionally seen adults building these mini things on Tik Tok and I thought it was just creative things these guys built or little kits they were getting from Etsy but it's a whole brand. AND EVEN THEY SEEMED TO BE NOT TAKING THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS and I said something sometimes if someone else hadn't already. But I thought "Surely there's no way someone is using resin without knowing the risks." Thinking this was just a fuckin art community thing. But NO.

I'm ranting. I'm sorry. I'm just actually like...so dumbfounded.

They need to get sued so fucking hard. How long have they been selling this shit?!?!

MGA's Miniverse is expanding rapidly (which is very MGA of them). In addition to the Lifestyle and Cafe/Diner balls, there is the kitchen and two new play packs: Ice Cream Social and Pizza Party.

They're on preorder for about $20. There are about 4 items to complete in the Ice Cream Social pack, but they share components and there are only two bottles of resin between them all and I think you get two pizzas, so I'm honestly not sure this is a better value than getting individual balls. The bonus? is a cardboard box.

The multi-pack is still a decent value vs individual balls, though, at $30 for 5 complete sets. This is a great option if you want to try out lots of different types of the food kits without having to risk dupes.

I can't really tell how many food kits you're getting to make a comparison of value vs the balls, but you do get a really cute display and storage case and look at those little crates!

I have to admit, though, that I don't understand the black and white furniture thing they're doing with miniverse.

You could probably DIY something similar with a bead storage box.

I got impatient and decided to open the make it mini lifestyle ball.

And I got one of the ones I wanted, the turtle.

He's so tiny and cute. I'm going to set up his bowl but not going to set it with the resin.

I want to be able to rearrange him and take him out for the dolls to hold.

I love how detailed all these little packages are. Even if you don't use the resin you can still use them as props for your dolls.

Junbaobao’s Plog: A Fish for Hanbaobao! 🐠

Today I woke up early, and went to the store with Mamama. I had saved up my allowance, and I was excited to buy treats! 💵 But when we were walking past a pet store, I saw fish in the window 😍

All the fish were pretty, but I saw a special fish that I knew Hanbaobao would love! It's a butterflyfish, and Hanbaobao loves butterflies. I bought him a butterfly necklace once, and it's his favorite 🦋

I asked Mamama if I could spend my allowance on the fish, and she said I could! 🥳🐠 The nice gege at the fish store was named Dave. He showed me and Mamama the tank and plant and pebbles I had to buy too.

I very carefully held the bag in my paw all the way home!

I'm so excited for Hanbaobao to see this pretty fish!

He was so happy!!! 🥰 yay!!! ❤️

Mamama said she would help us put the tank together for the fish. She said she's never done a fish tank before, but her friend sent her a step by step walk-through, so she thinks she can do it. Thanks, helping friend! Jiayou, Mamama! 💪

Mamama looked a bit nervous as she carefully inspected everything, but I know she was just worried that the fish would be safe and happy in the tank.

In went the plant and the first layer of pebbles! The pebbles are a nice bright pink. Mamama poured some water goop into it.

Mamama said the water goop had to be set with a special light! The light made our eyes glow 🤩 Hanbaobao's teeth also glowed, it was so funny! 😆

The fish went in! Quick Mamama, quick, put the water in for the fish! 🌊

Oooh! The fish is swimming around 🐠

The special light comes in a flashlight size that Mamama made into a light tower! 🔦 She said the water had to be set very carefully so no bubbles formed 🫧

Mamama spent a LONG time popping bubbles and muttering to herself. It took so long Hanbaobao told me a whole story.

It got more exciting when Mamama finished popping bubbles and used the flashlight to zap the tank 🔦 Maybe the special light will give the fish super powers! ⚡️💥

Ta da! Mamama did it! Hanbaobao loves his butterfly fish! I wonder what the fish's name will be. Do you have any good ideas?
