Absolutely love that Sun gets over his trauma by babying the younger brother. In a sense its what they both need. To you and the anon who wanted something nice for Sun and Bean Eclipse interacting. Eclipse is far more comfortable being carried or held by Sun vs Moon actually. (altho like... in terms of who he'd rather be held by. Its KC, then Earth then Sun (Lunar is a contender only Sometimes). Never Monty. Moon is never perferred on this list but always over Monty.) Also just kinda... BY HEIGHT PREFERENCE LOL

So I'm currently working on organizing a collector challenge month intended to focus only on items already in your collection. As part of the challenge you cannot post about any new toys, only ones you owned prior to the start of the challenge. (Not necessarily that you can't buy any, that's optional, but if you really love it and want it, you'll still love and want to talk about it when the month is over I feel. And if having to wait to show it off makes you hesitate to buy it, then you didn't need it and should put the wallet down.) This is to discourage impulse buying and FOMO responses that can be prevalent in collecting spaces, and also just to have fun and show off toys you maybe don't photograph super often.

I did a poll recently to decide what month to have the challenge in, and the winner was January. Unfortunately, I'm struggling to pick a name for the challenge. Not a lot of good J-words I can think of to play of the month's name, and I'm struggling to find the wording I want. Here's some options I've been mulling over:

-In with the Old Month

-Current Collection Month

-Collection Appreciation Month

-Show me what you got month

But I'm open to suggestions. Like all of this challenge, it's for the community, not just me, so everyone's opinions and suggestions very much matter here. So what do YOU think?

It was mornings like these that she had to remind herself to breathe. She was sitting at her vanity, Wonwoo was getting dressed behind her, everything seemed to be fine. Her hair was pinned back nicely, her lipstick applied perfectly, nothing was out of place. But if she was good at anything it was appearing to be fine when her whole life was falling apart. She had been sitting at her vanity for the better part of two hours, less concerned with the perfection of her makeup and more focused on putting off the inevitable.

Seeing Mingyu again.

“We don’t have to do this.” Wonwoo said with a reassuring hand to her shoulder. “You two haven’t spoken in three years and there’s nothing wrong with keeping it that way.”

Sighing, she reached for a pair of earrings. “I can’t let him keep controlling my life. I can survive a simple brunch with him and Ami. No need to worry so much.”

He kissed her temple gently. “Alright, if you’re sure.”

I’m sure. She reminded herself. I can do this.

Which of course was easier said than done. She put on a brave face for Wonwoo, her loving husband of the past two years, her best friend for even longer, and she knew that he wasn’t fooled. He didn’t say anything in favor of either her pride or her façade. Neither of which could afford to shatter before their afternoon was over. He would allow her whatever she needed to get through the next few hours, it was her battle to face.

One she faced with a well rehearsed smile.

When they walked through the doors of their favorite café and she saw Mingyu and Ami sitting there, the picture-perfect couple, she stayed strong. She walked up to Ami with her arms open, letting herself and everyone else pretend like everything was fine. Because that’s what she was good at. That and ignoring the gaze Mingyu was burrowing into the back of her head.

While Ami began chewing her ear off, she watched Mingyu and Wonwoo share a curt greeting. It was hard to imagine what their relationship was before, they were such good friends. They all were. A part of her felt guilty for having some hand in their fallout, but Wonwoo assured her time and time again that it wasn’t her fault. Unfortunately, that didn’t change how she felt at all.

Eventually they took their seats, she wasn’t surprised in the slightest when Mingyu took up the spot next to her. She had been doing her best to ignore his subtle glances, ones she was sure that Wonwoo noticed but Ami did not. He wasn’t making it easy for her, and she expected that, didn’t mean she was any more prepared for it. After three years he still had some magnetic hold on her and all she could do was hope that he wouldn’t ruin her again.

“I wish it could be different. I wish—I wish it didn’t have to end like this. I wish I wasn’t the reason why we can never be together.”

But it did. She sighed. It did, you are, and now it’s over.

secondary careers: done. Cedric is a stylist, taking after Jiro’s interest in fashion, Sylas is an internet personality after washing out of the film industry, and Tessa is a robot learning the meaning of art as a painter

generational goal: 50% complete. Julianna has a distinguished degree, with honors, of computer science. she’s considering going back to school soon for psychology now that her kids are all in school

misc. fun: ongoing. we’re on pet number 3! now that the kids are older, maybe we’ll switch back to dogs and do some trick training

also, i think it's very interesting how that friend of vi who she met on the streets of piltover immediately gets out when he sees caitlyn is accepting what ambessa is proposing. he gets that it's not about saving people, that what ambessa wants (and caitlyn is going to do) is targeted violence, on top of a structural system that created this mess in the first place. she's now only seeking revenge.

and can we talk about how Vi and Caitlyn on the lore were always Vi punching and asking later, and Caitlyn being the most "careful" one, and now in Arcane we're seeing the absolute opposite? i think that's so fascinating to watch because, especially with the little lore we have, when making headcanons, a lot of ppl put vi in this position of carelessness and caitlyn reasoning her. but right now we're seeing the complete opposite because Vi had years to put her anger out in prison (bc of very unfortunate situations), but caitlyn not only is a person that is out in world while in her anger phase of grief, but also is on an authority position and has free access to weapons and is being manipulated by someone who is exploiting her anger to the extent of using outside army
