Everything about the message is... strange... to put it kindly, but you can't help but feel this Capt. John Price is being sincere. Maybe that's a naive, lonely part of you that's convincing yourself that the message is real and not some scam. The rules are simple.

You fund them with enough money each month they need it for however long they need, and they'll give you all the companionship you want. Whether that's sexual or not is up to you. You look over the messages John sent you, lingering over the pictures he sent of him and the other three men. Well. Two men. John told you this Simon guy would show you his face himself if he wanted to. You don't know if it's a sexual thing or not or something else entirely. You were too afraid to ask, and you don't really know if you want to know. But the other three are handsome, if the pictures John sent aren't fake.

There are still little things you have to work around, such as their schedules, but John promised that at least one of them would always come when you called. Bingqiu AU where SY and LBH grow up as childhood friends (idk maybe they're both at QJP but Shen Jiu is less of an asshole, or maybe SY transmigrates into Random Village Bully Child No.3 when Binghe's mom is still alive -- or both) and there's none of the tension of the idea of "one day Luo Binghe is going to rip my limbs off" for Shen Yuan.

So he and LBH can just be bros! Fantastic! Shen Yuan has never had a little brother before but he's had a little sister, he knows how to do this. Just spoil the cute kid rotten!

It's only fair compensation for how many terrible things LBH is gonna have to endure on the road to ruling the world, after all. SY also feels more freedom to change minor aspects of the plot around, too, like maybe he'll stop Liu Qingge from dying, definitely he can help LBH get a better start to his cultivation journey, and maybe the abyss and xin mo thing doesn't really need to happen...?

The list of things SY considers meddling with ends up including wives.

Like really, come on now, Luo Binghe may be a stallion protagonist but there's no need for that many women. Especially when at least half of them are just increasingly cheap copies of the other half, and that's being generous about it. Some of PIDW Binghe's wives were, frankly, horrible people. And if he's being honest about it, it wasn't fair of Binghe himself to take on that many either. Even if anyone would naturally give their left arm to be the protagonist's wife, after a certain point Binghe just can't spend that much time actually with them! And then he can't form the kinds of deep and meaningful bonds which might actually help heal his trauma!

SY's not looking to interfere too much, of course. Ning Yingying is not his favorite wife, but she's fine. She causes trouble but it isn't on purpose, and she's genuinely sweet and willing to befriend Binghe before he's anything special (although even now, it's obvious Binghe is special). Ning Yingying can stay.

And of course, so can Best Wife Liu Mingyan.

But Sha Hualing? Well, she offers some political advantages, and as the demon wives go she's not the worst. She's kind of iconic and was very popular, but Shen Yuan thinks the harem could do without her scheming and malicious attitude towards the other wives. The cost of harmony was too high for the political bonuses offered, especially when Binghe might as well just take her ancestral lands by force and be done with it. He's going to advise against that match.

And the Qin sisters. Sure there's the legendary threesome, but Wanrong's dead weight and it never struck SY quite right how Qin Wanyue pressured Luo Binghe into sex. The threesome wasn't even good anyway.

Better Qin Wanyue than the Little Palace Mistress on that front, though. But aish, that's complicated, the Palace Mistress is even more politically vital to securing HHP than Sha Hualing is for her father's kingdom, and almost as bad for the peace and harmony of the harem. Ultimately SY will leave it up to Binghe, but if Binghe asks, he's going to advise against the Huan Hua wives too.

With thoughts like this in mind, SY starts talking to Binghe about how to establish a household, what to look for in a spouse (or twenty), and other topics of that nature. What sort of household Luo Binghe ought to strive to have, and what sorts of standards he should himself to. Also while of course assuring him that Shen Yuan isn't interested in women. Lest he worry that Shen Yuan might be trying to steal any of the wives from him, at any point. He's not competition!

“Is yer husband home?”

He asks the question before you’d even had the chance to greet him, let alone acknowledge it’s was even him at the door—the man you’d all but ghosted 2 weeks beforehand.

“Atsumu.” Your hushed voice gives him his answer as you slide outside with him, shutting the door behind you. “Why are you here?”

“Why am I here?” He scoffs, “Why have you been ignorin’ me?” Folding his arms across his chest he raises an eyebrow when you start to shush him. “What?” He scoffs again, apparently his favourite sound to accompany the look in his eyes you’re not used to seeing—something you’d never thought would be targeted at you. “Scared he’ll find out?”

“There’s nothing for him to find out.” You hiss, glancing to your front window you pray your husband’s curiosity doesn’t get the better of him tonight—the last thing you want is for your mistake, no matter how big it was, to ruin what you’d begun to fight for; to fix.

“Nothin’.” He repeats with yet another scoff, as though you’d said the most unbelievable thing—to him, maybe it was. “4 months of nothin’. Frequent excuses for nothin’. Nights in my bed, comin’ to my matches and telling me yer marriage was on the ropes. Nothin’.” You’d never heard Atsumu so angry, so hurt.

Your stomach drops and the guilt finds its home, a feeling you’d become more than accustomed to at the sight of your husband. But not ‘Tsumu.

“Atsumu-” Your voice and face soften, and he falters at the sound of his name. Is he allowed to be angry at you, when he knew you were a married woman?

He should have listened when Sakusa warned him you were a bad idea.

“No, no.” He stops you, a hand in the air and a sigh escaping his lips. He might not have the right, but he was angry. At you. “Ya can’t just bat yer eyes and speak nice t’me and expect me to fall at yer feet again.”

“I’m not trying anything ‘Tsumu.” The nickname falls from you as though you hadn’t practically broken his heart. “I don’t want you ‘falling at my feet’ again.” Mocking his choice of words your eyebrows furrowed and what little of you still wanted him around disappeared—since when did he act like this? Even if he was frustrated, he had no right. “This was my decision and I’m sorry if it’s not what you wanted. But he is my husband. I’ve messed up but i’m not willing to make it worse because you want a quick fuck and a free therapy session.”

“That’s not—” his animosity disappears but you don’t care enough to listen to his excuses.

“I don’t care, Atsumu.” Lifting a hand to stop him, you sigh. “Don’t come here again, don’t call, don’t text.” You begin to open your door again, stepping into the entranceway of your home, your voice is as quiet as when you’d started. “If I could turn back time, I’d never have let this happen.”

“Who was it, Love?” He hears the voice of your husband as the door begins to slowly close. Atsumu waits, yearning for your attention; hoping you’ll admit to the secret tryst and tell the man you married he just wasn’t what you needed but that Atsumu was, regardless of anything you’d told him.

But, of course, it never came. The door closed just as he heard your reply: “No one, Hon.” Surely ready to tell him one last white lie—that he was a salesman with a product you had no interest in or a nosy neighbour ready to accuse you of something your husband would never believe.

It’s that moment where Atsumu realises the things he was most scared of was coming true. All the nights he’s spent beside you in bed, spilling his deepest secrets and listening to every worry you had. All the times he’d barely held himself back from telling you just how in love with you he was and begging for you to leave your husband and run away with him—all those intense, aching feelings were his. Not yours.

a/n: I loved this idea so I might do it for a few others I write for - Pablo loves that your smile can always cheer him up he can be having the worst day but just seeing you smile instantly improves his mood. Your smile can't actually solve all of his problems but he definitely feels that way for him as nothing else gives him such a burst of happiness 

- You are the the only one that can calm him down which everyone appreciates. After a bad game the team make sure Pablo sees you before going back into the locker room as that way you can talk to him usually about something else and not the game until he's calm when you send him back to his teammates. Pablo doesn't always realise how good you are at helping him keep control of his emotions but when he does it only makes him love you more

- Pablo is in love with the way you look when you wake up in the morning. There is nothing he loves more than seeing you with no makeup on and hair all over the place as even though you think you look disgusting he thinks you look beautiful. Just something about seeing you so natural and vulnerable almost as you are just waking up fills his heart with joy

- Pablo is always appreciative of his understanding you are. There are times that he isn't around much and can't spend as much time with you as he would like but you never complain or get mad at him. Even when he has to cancels plans with you because something you don't make him feel bad at all as you know he will make it up to you at some point because he always does

- He loves how you are willing to train with him on days off. Over the summer or when the team have some days off Pablo loves to train with you whether thats in the gym or with a football. You aren't the best with a ball but he has taught you a lot and you are definitely good enough to help him train and he loves getting to run around with you

- There is the odd occasion that Pablo gets carried away and will go too hard on you whenever that happens he feels awful but most of the time you just get back up and continue to play which he really admires. Knowing you share his fighting spirit just makes Pablo adore you more and it spurs him on too as he wants to show you that he’s just as determined as you

- Your work ethic is another thing Pablo loves about you. No matter what you are doing you always put in 100% even if you don't get the result you wanted Pablo knows you would've tried your hardest and he's always there to encourage you like you always do for him

- The two of you make a great couple as Pablo always gives his all in training and during the matches and you give your all in your university work. The two of you are always supporting each other and when something doesn't go your way you are always there to pick each other up which is how you both still maintain your strong mentality

- Despite how much work you put into everything else in your life you always still make time for Pablo which he appreciates. Even if you've had classes all day and have other work to get on with if he has a day off you will always find time to spend with him as it's not often that he gets time off. He of course does his best to do the same as you two are committed to making your relationship work

- There are a lot of little things Pablo loves about you like the way you have a set routine you follow in the morning and at night which he adores watching you complete as nothing can distract you once you've started even him hugging you from being and covering you in kisses

🍎 You end up, after seeing him walk straight over to the bush you are in, to try to book it. Standing, you move to escape, only for some of the fabric on your leg to get caught in the branch. You end up looking up just in time to see Wally's net swing, catching and freeing you, but tearing your little leg open in the process.

🍎"THERE YOU ARE! Why did you-?" He gasps, seeing the tear, before saying "OH NO! NO NO NO! I need to get you home RIGHT NOW!!!" He takes you out of his net, sprinting back to his house, while holding you close.

🍎 You aren't going to be escaping for a while after that. Despite what some might think, puppets can feel pain. That tear is EXTREMELY painful. It goes all the way down your leg, too. At least Wally's sewing skills are pretty good. The thread he has doesn't match with the color of your fabric, though, so the area that was torn stands out. It's kind of like those scars you have heard about. The ones humans get.

🍎 He will make sure to coddle you after that incident. Do you want some clothes that will cover up that thread? Done! He would buy matching thread and change the thread, but that would require him to open you up again. He isn't willing to do that. You are his precious puppet! He couldn't do that, no matter how much you whine. A nice long skirt or long pants will do to cover it up, right?

🍎 What about some games? He can play games! He can make up new games! He can buy games! Or books? Do you want books? He'll get books! Any book! Just don't leave! You'll get hurt again!

🍎The worst part of all of this is that now he needs constant reassurance that you won't try to escape, again. And by that, I mean he will make you reassure him if you don't do it yourself. He is a puppeteer, and you are a puppet, after all. It is the most uncomfortable feeling EVER now that you are aware.

🍎 If he is feeling especially anxious that you might leave, he will just pick you up without warning. He'll place you on his lap, then start puppeteering you. He'll just downright have conversations with you, only now, he decides what you say.

🍎"You'll never leave me, right, (Y/N)?" "Of course not! Why would I? I got hurt the last time I tried! You are so kind to me, too!" "Thank you... Why did you try to leave last time?" "I was just scared and confused! It is okay, now, though. I love you, Wally!" "I love you, too!"

🍎 It is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It's kind of like this weird haze overtakes you. You can hear your voice saying the words he wants you to say, as well. You can like... Feel his hand in your head. It doesn't hurt. It is just... Weird. Like really bad sinus pressure, minus the headache. These conversations will go on for HOURS, too. Him just talking to himself, but pretending it's you.

🍎 At some point, he may even begin to believe that it IS you talking to him during those times. He hears your voice saying it, too, so why wouldn't it be you? If that becomes the case, everything becomes upped to one hundred. He may start puppeteering you more often, too! You love him, right? Just ONE more time? Here, he'll help you say it. "I love you, Wally!" There we go! How about another? "I love you, Wally!" Hahaha! What fun! He could talk to you all day!

hi! I wanna ask how good each of the personnel would be at comforting ^^

This one is rough, because in a place known for being cold and clinical, it’d be hard to find someone to comfort you. I think some personnel have strengths and weaknesses.

Clef:

Clef isn’t good at comforting himself, so they might not be great at comforting others. He definitely won’t address the issue, but will instead try to outwit you and “prove” that your issue isn’t too bad. If you just need some comfort just because, Clef’s pretty funny sometimes, so I think they’d be able to comfort you that way.

The only time he will ever make a real attempt at comforting you is if you’re severely injured. He might try to make it sound like he doesn’t care, to keep you from worrying, but if both of you know that your injuries are life-threatening, Clef might just drop the act for a little bit.

Kondraki:

There is a correct amount of drunk that Kondraki has to be to be “comforting” in any sense of the word. If he’s sober, he’ll be an asshole. If he’s fully drunk, he’ll be an asshole. In fact, I think he might just be an asshole, and he won’t deal with any of your “emotional bullshit”. He knows that he’s messed up in his brain somewhere, but he can do his job just fine, so he doesn’t see why it matters. He is, however, willing to help people with severe physical injuries, so if you have a sprained ankle or something, he’ll get you physical help.

If you’re severely wounded, Kondraki will try to fight death itself. He doesn’t see a point to just giving up, and he will shove combat gauze into whatever wound you have until there’s none left. To him, it’s more about the physical stuff.

Gears:

Gears tries his best, okay? The issue is that even if he says the right thing, he has trouble saying it the right way. Even if he does sympathize with you, you’ll have a tough time telling. He gives good, objective advice, so if you’re in need of that, he’s a good person to turn to, but if you’re looking for someone to vent to or a shoulder to cry, he’s not your guy.

In the event of a physical injury…he still wouldn’t be able to comfort you very well. “The wound is surface-level” is the most comfort you’ll receive. I don’t think his medical skills would be great, but he would stay there with you until someone else got there.

Iceberg:

Ice is either incredibly cold, or has the passion of a thousand suns depending on how close you are to him. If he doesn’t know you very well, he won’t comfort you and might actually make you feel worse. If you are friends, he’ll actually be decent at comforting you. If you complain about someone, he’ll aggressively complain about them too to match your energy, or just listen. Because he works for Gears, he’s very in-tune with what people want based on microexpressions.

He’d feel incredibly guilty if you were injured by one of his explosive tests, and would probably like send cards to the hospital every day until you got out. He’ll try to comfort you with gifts, even if he feels too guilty to face you.

Shaw:

She’s a decent one to turn to. On one hand, They have all the life experience, so they’d probably be the most in-tune with how you’re feeling, even if your thinking is illogical. On the other, Shaw has experienced more than you, so he’ll probably also need you to comfort him, sometimes, which is hard to do when you know you’ll never experience eternity. The two of you will make the most progress over tea or something like that, just a chill time to connect. She’ll be somewhat willing to hug you if you ask, but isn’t super fond of physical touch because if 963 accidentally touches you…you’re toast, and Shaw would have trouble living with that.

If you’re injured, Shaw wouldn’t be great. I mean, he’s developed a nonchalant opinion of wounds, because he can go get another body. So, basically, Shaw is destigmatized to injuries, for the most part. They’d stay there, but Shaw is more of an emotionally comforting person than a physically comforting one.

Glass:

Glass is a therapist, he’d be pretty darn good at comforting you. He’d actually be really excited if you willingly book an extra session, because he’s so used to dealing with people (like everyone else on this list…) who are violent and aggressive towards him during therapy. He would absolutely try to help you work through whatever problem you have, no matter how menial it is. Glass will give good advice that’s not exactly objective, but it takes into account your feelings.

If you’re physically injured, Glass will panic. He knows all the medical training, but actual injuries, especially bad ones, freak him out. However, he’s willing to help you get through it any way possible.

Rights:

She’s a lovely woman, really, and good at comforting you. Sometimes you’ll get the hard truth from her, but she seems to know what she’s talking about, and is generally very smart. She’ll help you get through tough times by being direct, even if what she says isn’t exactly what you want to hear. She is the most real person at the Foundation, so if you’re looking for someone who has kept their emotions in tact, it’d be her.

Injuries-wise, I think she’d fall right in the middle with her ability to deal with injuries. She can hold her own, but a lot of other people can do it better. Don’t worry though, she’ll keep you cognitively there and reassure you throughout the whole thing.

Strelnikov:

I think he’d be okay at comforting people over events. Not like a “it’s okay, we’ll get through this”, but more like a “Hey. Chin up,” with a hand on your shoulder kinda guy. He is definitely willing to comfort anyone on his MTF, sometimes with words and sometimes with vodka. There’s no way around the awful things MTF members have to do, but he’d probably be there for you. I say this tentatively, but I think he’d be willing to hug another personnel member if they asked him to and he was to some extent drunk.

If you’re injured, he’s quite good at high-stress medical care. He’ll patch you up well enough to take you to someone else who can take care of you. He will not say a word to you, he’s lost in focus, so don’t expect any comfort from him there. He’s notoriously bad at low-stress medical care, so if you’re injured on the ride back to the Foundation and there’s no inherent danger, ask someone else, because he is only good at getting people “good enough.” If you end up in the hospital, he’ll come visit you at least once and talk to you.

Dating headcanons for ATSV Ben Reilly

I'm just gonna guess that you mean ATSV Ben! My bad if that's not the case, this might be OOC because I haven't seen the movie since it came out.

He feels like you're so strange and different to him, you don't speak out loud what your emotions are and that's so different from his universe, it's almost like a puzzle that Ben is desperate to solve, even if he can just ask you, audibly guessing is just that much more fun.

Ben isn't too smart with body language, in his universe, everybody says what they're feeling or doing, so if you're somebody who has very neutral expressions, he tends to get confused a lot and misinterpret your actions. He doesn't do this on purpose, and you can always correct him which he fully accepts.

Ben loves to give you things, usually it's a modified version of your web shooter, or maybe extra web fluid, if you're a spider that needs it, a gift that would benefit you and the missions you go on, but he also gives you matching clothing items.

While he'd never trade his blue hoodie for something else, don't even try it's not going to happen, he's willing to wear bracelets, rings, a new belt, etc, etc. Sometimes he makes them, which is usually from one of those crappy DIY bracelet kits, but usually they're one of those couple bracelets with magnets you can click together.

But he might wear a different hoodie for casual clothing, maybe on a date to another universe of one of your own, he's not a suit and tie, fancy dinner type of guy.

He's a clone of Peter, he's going to be broke.

Fully willing to give and receive PDA, the only times he won't is if you don't want to, he always says things audibly so you can know when he'll give you a hug or a kiss, and if you don't want one, then you can just say no or move away.

Ben despises beach dates, the sand gets everywhere, it triggers his spider sense whenever a beach ball gets near him, if you're in your universe or one that isn't like his, people stare when he narrates.

His ideal date is a pizza date, what does that entail? Either, you go to one of those places where you can customise your own pizza, or, you bake your own at home! He thinks it's fun to experiment with flavour and different kinds of pizza.

He just likes pizza, okay?

Specifically Hawaiian pizza.

Ben's a workout boyfriend, he's always lifting, fighting villains, or holding up a helicopter, he's buff, and he also likes to carry you. It doesn't matter how heavy you are, or if you're not heavy at all, he's strong enough to carry you wherever or whenever.

He gets sad whenever you have a mission and he's not paired with you, and vice versa for when he's on a mission and not with you. Sometimes he calls you mid fight, which means either one of you is running from a villain and being all 'awh, I love you!(⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡' but then a metal tentacle crushes your watch because you were distracted.

Let's hope Miguel finds your or Ben before your atoms dissolve.

Ben isn't too panicked when you're hurt, it all depends on how you're reacting, even if you've broken all of your bones, if you're chill, so is he. Obviously, he's always concerned, and you'll hear 'my beloved is injured, they're hurt and I can't do anything! But I must stay strong, so they can.' But besides that, he's cool.

Speaking of, he has a lot of harrowing memories, and while he doesn't rely on you, he will occasionally seek comfort. Ben will usually just sob into your shoulder for a few hours, and after that, will probably cuddle you and trap you into a snuggle buddy situation, not like you're complaining.

Whenever you're sad, he won't expect you to come to him, but he'll accept you with open arms if you do. Whether you just want to cuddle, or have him in the same room, or if you just want comfort food, or a drink, or whatever. He's fine with whatever you want, and he'll provide whatever you want.

Within reason, obviously.

Ben isn't dumb, yes, he's a bit clueless and tends to get distracted, but he's incredibly smart when it comes to fighting, and he was previously a teacher, (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) so he's completely capable of being a smart ass if you get something wrong. Not in a mean way, just a corrective 'uhm, well actually 🤓' type of way?

He likes to have double dates! Whether Peter is with MJ, or Gwen, or whoever Peter Parker managed to rizz up, given that Peter is sort of like his brother, he likes to spend time with him, and he also likes spending time with you.

From what she’s seen, Eren’s probably not even the worst person they could have stuck her with—he didn’t seem all that bad initially. At the minimum, she could appreciate his attempts at giving her space; despite whether or not he’d been made aware of her circumstances, to say the least, he at least had the decency to take note of her blatant displeasure with the situation and act accordingly. Even with all her pent-up aggression and hostility, Mikasa couldn’t even deny the fact that she found herself enjoying their little talk; even if her apology was all part of her attempt to get him to trust her, she couldn’t say that part of it wasn’t at least somewhat genuine.

And it’s because of this that she can’t help but harbor the smallest amount of guilt, knowing that Eren is, in fact, not a terrible person, yet she’s making him collateral in her attempts at trying to spite her parents. She hates to even admit that he seems kind, and he certainly doesn’t deserve the shit she’s put him through over the past week. It isn’t even all his fault—he has a job to do, and she knows whatever her parents are paying him had been enough for him to be willing to drop everything from his previous life and work for them at a moment’s notice. 

Feelings and guilt aside, however, she knew she needed him gone, and if making his life a little miserable was enough to get him to quit, she’d do whatever was necessary. Maybe in a different life, they’re friends, hell, lovers even, she can’t deny he’s easy on the eyes. But in this one, Mikasa just has to be the villain, unfortunately. She’s not proud of it, but she tells herself that all the insults and bitchy comments are for a greater purpose, and maybe she might have gone too far, but can you really blame her? 

She knows her behavior is teetering the lines of desperate, maybe even borderline psychotic, but she’s sure Eren has dealt with much worse than some twenty-one-year-old brat—he would be fine. Mikasa was certain Levi and Kenny had told her about her behavior—just how difficult she could be. And she didn’t put it past him to look up things about her, making his own assumptions just like everyone else did. But it wouldn’t matter if he quit—all her antics would have been worth it if Eren would wake up, realize this job isn’t worth dealing with someone like her, and he’d be gone before she knew it. But Mikasa, despite someone who she thinks is worthy of being deemed intelligent, calculated even, put so much thought into this little plan of hers—it seemed foolproof, almost. She had been holding every ounce of certainty that she would come out the other side successful, glowing with pride, and yet another instance of her spiting her parent. But she, unfortunately, made a miscalculation—she never once considered the possibility that Eren might be just as headstrong as she is. Because in Eren, she’s met her match.

What do you want shiggy to see?

This is going to be hard to answer because I dislike Deku and find much of his saving of Shigaraki so far extremely unconvincing. You should also ask someone who likes Deku, because I cannot properly give you a good, unbiased answer. I am sure the memories I will talk about will be ones that move Shigaraki in the near-future canon, but I'm seeing them through very negative light and will call it bad writing. And I am right. But I'll tell you what I personally think.

The thing is, when I made that post about Shigaraki's memories, it's because Deku barely knows anything about Shigaraki, because the 'Villain' label means nothing except 'horrible person i need to defeat'; barely knows what happens in the shadows that creates villains, which is why I want him to see Shigaraki's memories and understand why Shigaraki is so angry and in pain. And from that, how he can stop Shigaraki and give him hope, saving him.

Meanwhile, Shigaraki already knows Deku is a hero who wants to save him, is a Good Guy, loves his friends and teachers, wishes to do good in the world - that's just being a hero. He just rejects it. Shigaraki already knows the Hero System and how it works, and he hates it.

What is in store for Shigaraki is to be convinced by Deku that he should stop, that the world shouldn't be destroyed, and that he should regain hope, let his heart be saved and released from all that hatred and pain. So the memories he should see would be moments where he can be reassured of Deku's sincerity and determination to improve things, and moments where Deku experiences despair - something Shigaraki can relate to! - but Deku makes the choice to keep the world going anyways.

In the series, in this long process of Deku trying to save Shigaraki, there are few good moments - Deku being extremely stubborn about saving Shigaraki despite Shigaraki's taunts and Nana giving up, Deku telling Shigaraki somewhere inside of him is still a person - but overall Deku's journey getting there so far, and all the things he's doing at the moment? Imo, pretty terrible effort.

Like, what would Shigaraki even see? Well, he could see how when Gran Torino says "killing is saving", or when Heroes are discussing the "Coffin In The Sky" plan, Deku is silent. Offers zero objections.

Deku may want to save Shigaraki, but isn't willing to say so, isn't willing to speak up against others. He accepts Gran's cape, he sits and listens and goes along with the plan (that in Chapter 402 Shigaraki would end up saying he dislikes, "those jerks that hurt me over and over again").

Now, this might not seem like a big deal - you can say, Deku's just trying not to start a screaming match, he has to go along with what the adults says anyways, it's actions that matters more than words since Deku's still trying to save Shigaraki, isn't he?

But Shigaraki's childhood was full of this type of thing: his mom and grandparents trying to keep the peace, never speaking up for him against Kotarou even when Tenko isn't there, trying to comfort him with hugs and treats when out of sight of Kotarou to show that they actually do care... but never enough actually fight for him, even if it meant shaking the stability of the household.

After fighting Shigaraki to save him will come the need to fight for Shigaraki, against the rest of the Heroes and government and society. If Deku can't do that while he's got it in his mind to save Shigaraki, it doesn't ensure confidence.

Now it would be cool if Shigaraki sees this and calls it out! Force Deku to admit he hasn't been trying his best, but will do better. I don't expect it though.

Memories of Deku's accomplishments aren't actually much better. Deku has indeed saved someone who hates him and hates Heroes - that's Kouta, the five-year-old. Deku has saved Eri, the visibly sad and abused innocent six-year-old. So he's got a track record of saving Sad Children, which explains why he wants to save The Crying Child inside of Shigaraki, and that's a genuine thing Shigaraki can believe in... but what about the adults? The much more dangerous, jaded, have-gotten-their-hands-bloody Villains?

Shigaraki already thinks Gentle and Nagant are a "flip-flopping screw-ups." Deku's second encounter with Muscular has him asking Muscular like five questions, before giving up on him. So far Muscular and Shigaraki haven't been all that different in their taunting of Deku. There's also Overhaul that Deku meets again, and Deku is also uninterested in helping Overhaul who's worried for someone important to him until Overhaul expresses remorse. That's fair—except so far Shigaraki has also not expressed remorse.

The only difference between Shigaraki and these two villains is that Deku knows for sure there's sadness for Shigaraki due to the psychic bond, while he can't know that for Muscular or Overhaul, so he didn't pry deeper or go the extra mile for them. Shigaraki might not care about these two, but Shigaraki also hates hypocrisy. It's why he couldn't stand Stain and tore Overhaul's arms off and mocked ReDestro for staying up in a tower.

There is Aoyama. The scene where Deku says "Doing wrong doesn't make you a Villain for the rest of your life!" is good. That is a memory that Shigaraki can see and consider. It is made, imo, weaker when Deku gave conditions - that Aoyama hated and regretted working for All For One, that Nagant didn't 'sell her soul'. Because what if Shigaraki eventually did come to willingly work for AFO, and was even grateful to him, as he has explicitly said in the text? You can argue all you want about AFO manipulating Shigaraki - which Shigaraki himself acknowledges - but if there ever was a moment where Shigaraki enthusiastically participated in a crime, would Deku still stand by what he says about not being a Villain for life?

Again, it would be cool if Shigaraki sees this and ask Deku about it! Idk if that would happen though.

I think if we go back to memories from when and before the series begin, though, that's where I think we can find memories that Shigaraki can see and be swayed by.

Deku being a bullied quirkless child is a big one. What I want is Shigaraki seeing those things and adding it to his long list of 'everything i've witness in this world tells me it's shit' and being mean to Deku about it, because then this is something Deku can refute using his own experiences of injustice, alienation, and despair. This is something Deku can point to and say, 'Yeah, the world can suck, but don't give up.' Shigaraki finds the world not worth keeping around because he thinks it's rotten and there's no fixing it. Deku has seen part of this rot, but still thinks the world is worth defending. They should discuss that.

Related, that means the moment where Deku saves Bakugou who earlier that day told him to kill himself is also a good memory. Convincing argument that awful, angry brats can change, and is worth saving so they can stick around to change.

I am despite everything still a sap so Deku's memories of heartfelt moments with All Might would be good. This can make Shigaraki even more bitter and resentful towards All Might, but might show him that All Might is just a flawed human who tried and failed, something I think Shigaraki knows but refuses to forgive. Seeing it might nudge something though? Plus, the deep affection and loyalty between Deku and All Might - as well as between Deku and his friends - is something Shigaraki can relate to, with his League.

I'm likely missing lots of moments. But these are the ones that come to mind.

Part 1 Jonathan Joestar

Very gentle with your hair. Despite his size, he tries to treat you (and thankfully your hair) as if it might break at any moment. Unfortunately, this means he isn't very willing to actually detangle it.

"Jonathan, please. I need you to actually comb the tangles out of my hair or we'll never be finished."

"I know, my love. I'm sorry. But it might hurt..." "You can be insufferable at times, darling."

Eventually leaves you to detangle your hair by himself so he can do the braiding part, which goes WAY faster. He's quite skilled with his fingers. Makes your braids gorgeous and even adds in crystals and little accessories to spice it up. Overall, 8/10!

Robert E.O. Speedwagon

Very confused. Did you say twists or braids? What's the difference? How do you know? Where did these hairstyles even come from? No matter. Despite his confusion, he's determined to help you out. He's good with detangling and decent with braiding, but decides twisting is the easier way out. It takes him a bit of time to do it though.

"Are you almost done with that twist, darling?" You mumble, exasperated. "Yes dear, just give me a second- oh, that doesn't go that way- sorry, dear-" You giggle as he struggles to finish a single twist, still having half of your hair to finish.

Finally finishes your hair after many, MANY hours. At least he made your hair cute, though. Buys you charms and hair ties so you can style your twists. 7.5/10 for Speedwagon!

Part 2 Joseph Joestar

No idea what he's doing. Tugs, knots, and pulls at your hair accidentally as he simply tries to put it into passion twists. The extensions made it even more difficult as he fumbled with them, trying to make them mesh into your hair seamlessly as you always had. Still very confused.

"Joseph, what the actual fuck are you doing?"

"I DON'T KNOW!" "You better figure it out, Jojo. Please. Do you need a little help?" "For the last time, dollface, I don't need any help. 'M Joseph f'ing Joestar. I can figure this out," He mumbles as he continues to struggle and stress your hair.

When he's done, you look like you got jumped. You give him a kiss and a pat on the back. He tried his best. You secretly take the twists he did out and put your own in overnight, then tell him the twists simply settled last night.

"Huh! Guess I'm not so bad, eh?"

You sigh, then give him a sweet smile. "No, sweetheart. Not at all."

Overall, 4/10. He tried his best, but unfortunately his best was not enough.

Caesar A. Zeppeli

Shocks you with how skillful he is. Even adds in color to your passion twists! Blonde, of course, so you can match with him. Works efficiently and without struggle, but leaves the ends of your twists looking kind of funny.

"Why do the ends of the twists look like that?" "Like what?" Caesar stops and looks at a twist. "Ah. I wasn't exactly sure how to end them. Mi dispiace, amore." Oh well. It wasn't all that bad. And besides, whenever he calls you amore, you can't stay mad at him.

"No worries, darling. I'll fix them later."

Helps you fix the ends of your twists and gives you a pearl necklace to go with the finished look. Overall, 9.5/10!

Part 3

Jotaro Kujo

Very grumpy. Almost says no when you ask him to help you with your hair because he thought it'd be too difficult (and he was kind of right), but you assured him he'd be fine and you'd guide him through the steps of the hairstyle.

"...What did you say this hairstyle was called?" "Goddess braids! They're like box braids, but you have to crochet water wave extensions through the top of the braid." You show him a photo of the hairstyle and he damn near faints.

"...Yare yare. Why do you have to choose such complicated styles?"

"One thing I won't do is hear complaints from a man who didn't wash his hair for 50 days. Better start detangliinggggg..."

He sighs, chuckling a bit, then begins to do your hair.

Finishes relatively quickly and gives you the color of your choice. Buys you an extra large bonnet to keep the curls from getting too frizzy and gives you some silver and gold charms that match some of the charms on his hat. The braids could be better but for his first time doing braids they're pretty good. Overall, 7.5/10, especially for his patience! (still looks irritated about the amount of time it took though)

Kakyoin Noriaki
