Genshin and ZZZ at the Gamescon best mobile game award.         

As the show was getting onto its full swing, two members of the hoyofam were waiting patiently for their segments to arrive. When you’re Genshin’s age, and as successful as he is, you’re gonna end up being invited and attending multiple game show award events… He’s grown tired of them, of course. Some he doesn’t even attend with how busy he is. But tonight was special! Here he was, taking phone calls and looking at spreadsheets while sitting next to ZZZ, who was being nominated for the same category as his gege.

The gamescon best mobile game award, presented to the best mobile game of 2024.

It was ZZZ’s first time getting nominated. So you can imagine how nervous he is. Genshin, on the other hand… cool as a damn cucumber. A little too cool, infact. He didn’t even have a speech prepared…instead he helped ZZZ with preparing for a good first victory speech. He didn’t even notice that they were already naming all the nominees for his section. As, he was taking a vv important business call.

Zen could only grab onto Gen’s arm tightly, as the cameras pan to their section of their table.

“AND THIS YEAR’S WINNER IS… GENSHIN IMPACT!!!” says the host, the cameras zooming in to Genshin, being shown on the big screen.

Only noticing his name being called on when Zen was shaking him, telling him to look up on the screen.

“Unfortunately the man himself seems to be very busy tonight, we’ll just show the wonderful trainer of GRIME 2!”

After the award show

Multiple clips and posts were posted online about the entire event, some good some bad. Most were talking about how adorable the two were, and how it’s so unprofessional for Genshin to be taking work phone calls during events such as that. He actually forgot that he won, only being reminded by Zen the next day.

Zen: Hey… I didn’t tell you last night but congrats on winning… I know that I have a long way to go before I get to ever fill in your legacy...

Gen: Huh…? What did I win this time…?

Zen, in disbelief: Uhm… mobile game of the year 2024…? At gamescon! HOW COULD YOU FORGET…?

Gen: Oh… that…                       

Star: Hey, you should prolly gift out freemos, for your players, I mean.

Gen: Do I have to…? I didn’t even want the award.

Star: Yes, you do. Remember what you said during the narcissists anonymous meeting…?

Gen: It wasn’t very anonymous, all of my fellow successful games were at that meeting…

Star: sigh… you said you were going to be more generous moving forward.

Gen: fine… but their only getting 1000. I’ll be damned if I give them another ten pull.

Hoyofam in sports events (paris Olympics 2024)

The family were packing their bags to head to paris, for the Olympics. Star was one of the sponsors for the event, (or atleast the televised broadcast of it)

As usual, the family were getting followed by a lot of the press. Though as the Olympics progressed, less and less paparazzi were following them. The family, were chilling by the seine.

Kai: Ew the swimmers have to swim in that piece sa sheit?

Themis: how could you let the swimmers get in that water, Star?

Genshin: Like fleuve cendre…                      

Zen: Course he wouldn’t be concerned, he lives and breathes in his own dank filth everyday.

Star(who is literally only sponsoring the televised broadcast): I HAD NO SAY IN WHERE THEY WOULD SWIM…? YOU GUYS ARE OVERRESTIMATING MY POWER OVER THIS EVENT…

Genshin: If I were the sponsor, I’d have them swim somewhere nice… like the actual fucking ocean.

He said, making you tear up. You pull him in for a hug, deep sobs escape your lips.

Genshin in his mind; That’s right, keep playing my game that you love so much. I knew you’d always come back to me.

(all tomfoolery aside, I hate that no matter how problematic this game is you can never leave it lol,,, atleast for me. I’d like to clarify that I’m not serious about this post, all jokes and fun. I know I sometimes semi glaze Genshin, my character interpretation, but trust me I don’t have that much affection for hoyoverse, cuz that kinda gross- to be glazing and ball sucking a billion dollar company)

Genshin on his 4th anniversary

And then they ride into the sunrise on their mounts/horses and they get married and have like 100 babies or whatever.

This might be a bit off for me to say, but in chinese families [or atleast my family] mostly mold the boys in harsher ways than the girls. [girls get bad treatment too] Since Genshin was the first son hoyo decided to mold him into this perfect man, the future heir of the company.

Was forced to do sports, play tons of instruments, martial arts, cram school, personal tutors.

Was never given a moment of peace in his childhood

Never got to be a child

The mirror image of his father, and hsr is a bit disgusted with the way he acts sometimes

Hsr knows that he was as much of a victim like the rest of them and wishes to turn gen into a man of his own

Walks and talks like a machine

The smartest ofc

Has a soft spot for his sibs, and he tries to lessen their punishments a bit, even if it meant getting hurt himself

Yearns for a different life where he is truly free

Seems like the favorite but is NOT

Hoyo sees and internalizes himself in Gen, and he subconsciously hates him for that.

Doesn’t understand the world, views himself differently than the rest. Like they were all pure swans while he was the ugliest creature on earth.

Likes being alone… or atleast that’s what he tells himself.

Doesn’t hate his father, does not see anything wrong with his actions and instead respects him.

But that’s only when it came to the psychological harm. When he sees his father hit or throw things at other people, he’d shield himself in front of that person.

GI and W racing to the top of the mountain. [Hoyofam and kurofam]       

It was like any other day in the country club, Games from everywhere flying in to kick and relax from their busy and stressful lives. Hoyofam frequently spends the weekends there, especially on the days that felt boring.

Recently, the long awaited mountain was finally added in after the last server maintenance. Now, mountain climbing lovers were able to traverse the big terrain in the comfort of staff members being able to take care of all their needs.

Genshin thinks it was bizarre, and that it takes away the excitement and adrenaline of climbing a mountain… But nonetheless, when there is a mountain, you climb it. Or so his philosophy says.

He ditched the climbing gear that they offered, planning on doing it the traditional way… sheer grip strength.

He went up the mountain, the luxurious view of the club meeting his eyes. It was definitely a different experience.

Suddenly, he heard a very familiar angry voice charging at him.

“LAST ONE THERE IS A ROTTEN EGG.” Says W, running up the mountain at full speed.

He eventually took over Genshin, his grappler making it easier for him to go faster. Then, he accidentally grappled too far, accidentally jumping off of the mountain. He couldn’t plunge, glide, or grab onto something as he fell, as he had already run out of stamina. But as he was about to touch the ground, a tall figure had caught him in their arms.

It was Genshin… and he could FLY!?!?

“Kids nowadays don’t know anything about stamina conservation…” Says Genshin, who was bringing him back to where Pgr and hoyofam were chilling at. Setting him down as they got close to the ground.

“YOU CAN FLY…?!” Asked W, SR, and Zen.

“Is it really that surprising…?” Says Genshin. While Themis came closer and carress’ his wings that she hasn’t seen in ages.

“Pretty, pretty wings… how I’ve dreamed to see you once again…” She whispered in a creepy, somewhat perverted manner.

Before she could do anything weird on his precious wings, he folded them up, making them disappear. Making Themis upset.

“THEN WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT OF CLIMBING MOUNTAINS” The boys yelled.

“Exercise.” He said with a tone of indifference.

Genshin stealing the spotlight from Themis on the 2023 most popular male characters on weibo

Themis was getting anxious… seems like one of her friends, LAN [light and night] was taking the top spots for the 2023 most popular male characters on weibo. She had to do something… she needed to at least get one of hers on the top 5 spots… So, she became campaigning- promoting her boys to the fullest.

Then, when the results came out during the reward show…

The top 5 winners were already revealed, except for the no.1 spot. All, were LAN’s boys.

It was anyone’s guest who was at the top. Themis prayed it would be her, she worked so hard… she really needed the win.

Her brothers were there because they were nominated for their own categories. Though they didn’t do much to campaign for a victory.

As they were about to announce the name of the character with the top spot, Themis was at the edge of her seat.

“WANDERER FROM GENSHIN IMPACT!” Says the announcer, the camera panned over to Genshin, who was in complete shock, and didn’t really expect for him to win. SR was laughing, patting his bro’s back and urging him to go on stage. While Themis was so shocked her mouth was agape.

Genshin was on stage, trying on to laugh at his little predicament. You could hear SR shouting and laughing really loud in the background.

Genshin starts off his speech.

“Uhm… I didn’t expect this. Thank you for loving Wanderer so much…! I dedicate this victory to my family… Wanderer, huh? Not even Alhaitham…?”

He continued his speech, not knowing that not just Themis, but the entire otome game industry were so mad at him and Wanderer, both.

After the event, Genshin apologized to Themis and gave her the reward. Of course, feeling bad, even if he didn’t mean to win. Looking at the number of votes and the 2 million gap between 1st and 2nd place… it really impressed her. She once again was reminded of how cool her twin was.
