One thing I enjoyed about this artwork is coloring it. I think I discovered the magic of Multiply layers for the first time, since I couldn't color anything that's not under natural light lol. but i also learned to adjust the colors of the highlights and the shades of colors to use to achieve a certain "lighting effect." i honestly have no idea how to explain any of that XD

One thing that I try to do when I draw is make the subjects' faces as expressive as possible. lol which is a challenge when the subjects look miniscule. But i learned to make every tiny line count. curve the eyebrows, extend the lashes a little, use the reflection of the light in their eyes, etc. and of course, make use of the body's gesture.
