Ok, but Shen Jiu being Shen Yuan's father is so funny in a very tragic way. Shen Jiu is a ball of traumas and all types of issues and i truly believe there's not a single one that man doesn't have, so, you give him a baby!Shen Yuan, a little ball of life that depends on him for survival, cannot walk away from him and is culturally wired to pretty much love him and if not, to at the least respect him above all else, you cannot tell me that this man would be normal about him. Also, imagine Shen Jiu, who'd be the type of parent to project traumas the way only a mother could, having a child that looks like him but with a "sweeter" personality (which, by the way, is bullshit, they just have never seen that boy rip into a book he disliked but wouldn't stop reading) that has the effect on men Shen Yuan has, he'd lock that boy up in a tower to "cultivate" and consequently create a rumor about the Qing Jing's beauty who was so bewitching their peak lord father locked them in a tower because that's just his luck. Loving Shen Yuan wouldn't fix him, but it'd create a whole new set of issues that'd cancel out the other ones

he started off already risking being sent back to his dead body to protect baby binghe the best he could on his first meeting and then continued to do so once the ooc shackles came off, made sure he felt loved and safe and at home on cqm, gave him every advantage he could think of (and then wondered why binghe got out of the abyss 2 yrs early, honey...), but bc those scum villain blinders were on so tight, he doesnt accept that he (the man shen yuan inside the character shen qingqiu) can change his own path enough to not be killed, and plans his own death accordingly bc he wont ever fight against binghe again if he can help it, i just...

this man loves binghe so much that he couldnt even conceive of a world in which binghe loves him back - and thats not just the comphet olympics in his brain talking, sy genuinely believes he's unlovable and only maybe sort of likeable by his fellow peak lords, and part of that comes from being forced into a scum villains role and not knowing the bigger picture behind sqq's actions (not even touching on how sy barely saw the entire cast of pidw as people until binghe actually looked hurt to him), but the rest was already preprogrammed before he transmigrated, and i want to know who hurt him so bad - bc all sy could imagine is that the whole world should love binghe, bc thats howmuch sy loves him the story is supposed to go, but all he could imagine for himself was gratitude at best and his demise at worst, until the very moment that it becomes clear that lbh has done everything, fucking EVERYTHING, to get sqq to love him back and i just SCREAMS

i cant imagine that sy would just let binghe go if he should ever decide to love someone else, the possession goes both ways with these two, and sy would fight tooth and nail to keep binghe for himself

The room was silent again, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning and the faint sound of your breathing Jungwon had finally settled into the bed after your bathroom incident, his thoughts swirling in the quiet space between you. He lay on his back, staring at the ceiling, his mind racing with everything—his work, his distance from you, his unspoken guilt. But just as he was about to drift off, he felt the bed shift.

He turned his head slightly to find you, still asleep, now clinging to him. Your body pressed against his, and your arms were wrapped around his chest. The warmth of your body was a stark contrast to the coldness he often projected.

You mumbled his name in your sleep—soft and delicate, almost like a whisper lost in the dark.

“Jungwon…”

Jungwon’s heart stuttered in his chest. It was an intimate sound, so innocent in its vulnerability. His body stiffened at the unexpected closeness, but then you shifted again, nuzzling into his chest like you were trying to melt into him.

“I love you…”

The words slipped from your lips in your sleep, unaware, as if the world's weight had fallen away, and you could say what your heart truly felt.

Jungwon’s breath caught. He wasn’t sure if you even realized you were saying it. Maybe you were just seen in the haze of sleep, where the walls between you and him didn’t seem so high.

His mind spun, conflicted. The words "I love you" should have been a lifeline—a relief—but instead, they felt like a weight pressing down on him. The distance, the coldness, the guilt of not being the husband you deserved—it all came crashing in on him. He could feel your warmth, your trust, even in your sleep, yet he felt like a failure.

For a long moment, Jungwon lay there, staring at the ceiling, letting the sound of your steady breathing lull him into a strange state of stillness.

It took everything in him not to pull you closer, to bury his face in your hair and apologize a thousand times over. He knew it was no excuse, but work, and responsibilities had always come first for him, and now, here you were—so close, so vulnerable in your sleep, telling him that you loved him despite everything.

He reached over carefully, his hand trembling slightly, and gently placed it on yours. He didn’t want to wake you, didn’t want to disrupt the fragile moment when you were giving him a glimpse of everything he had been neglecting.

"I love you too," he whispered into the night, his voice barely audible, but his words were not empty for once. He meant them with everything he had.

You didn't stir—lost in sleep as you were—but Jungwon stayed awake for a while longer, his hand still resting over yours, wondering if this could be the turning point.

Maybe, just maybe, he could learn how to love you the way you deserved.

Through a series of miscommunication, the League is now under the impression that Batman, strange cryptid that he is, may or may not have given birth to the other vigilantes running around in Gotham. This was not helped by Bruce referring to all of his children, no matter how big they get, as his babies. Nor was it helped by Red Robin, in the middle of a narcolepsy-fueled imminent crash, mentioned how he had no mother. 

It also doesn’t help that no one is aware that they are in fact completely normal people, and not aspects of Gotham itself brought to life. Though really that’s on the bats themselves, because at this point they should at least count as undead.

I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.
