Hey did you know Pokemon made the ciphermaniac, which is just the future version of the hex maniac
Tumblr media
Bah! She's not stinky enough to be a true maniac! She appears to be sleep deprived, albeit not to the same extent as the Hex, but she's too well-put together! Perhaps we can check in on her in a couple years and see how she's doing then......

LET THE BEST PLAYER WIN.
pairing: tennisplayer!sunghoon x film major!fem!reader
summary: everybody knew park sunghoon, the tennis player at harvard that was most likely going to go pro as soon as he graduated. determined to get closer to him to gather videos for her final, film student nishimura yn tries to find out more about the infamous tennis player everybody seemed to talk about.
warnings: mentions of excessive drinking and smoking (please don’t do any, your bodies are precious 🙏), they’re both lowk bad people LOL, nonconsensual filming (not sexually)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Whoa there,” you say, camera loosely hanging around your neck as you watch Park Sunghoon slam his racket on the floor till the strings popped out.
“What?!” He screamed, eyes practically bulging out of their sockets. He takes a deep breath, realizing that he has too much of a reputation to lose it over too little of frustration.
“Hey, don’t mind me.” You lift your hands in surrender, “just gotta film something for my final, you know.”
“Film major?” Sunghoon scoffs, throwing his now broken racket to the side as he shuffles through his gym bag for another. “Funny.”
“Very funny,” you shrug. “When I get into a big studio and start making films that blows up Hollywood, Park.”
“I’m just saying,” Sunghoon doesn’t look at you, instead focusing on his footwork. “You got into Harvard and you’re doing film?
“You got into Harvard by doing tennis.” You snark back. “I think we’re on the same page.”
Sunghoon laughs, and it’s the first time you’ve ever heard such thing from the boy. The only things you do hear is his groans of frustration and grunts as he hits the ball back and forth.
“Not bad,” he compliments you, finally deciding to turn over. “Want to get beer tonight?”
“I thought athletes don’t drink?” You sit up straight from your previous position on one of the plastic chairs placed near the players that oversaw the whole tennis court.
“Pft, which liar told you that?” Sunghoon packs away his things, and despite having played for 3 hours, he still looks as good as ever. “How do you think I keep sane in tennis? Medication? Fuck no.”
For the first time, you see a glint in Sunghoon’s eyes, one that wasn’t the competitive glint he wore like a blood sucking cheetah every tournament.
By the end of the night, you realize that Park Sunghoon can really drink.
He’s downed 6 shots already, but his face is still as bright as ever. In fact, he asks for three more.
“The adrenaline is similar to playing tennis.” He says with his oh so cheeky smile.
As soon as the server passes Sunghoon his drinks, he wraps one arm around your shoulder, cheering, “to Nishimura Y/N, the film major at Harvard!”
You laugh, pointing your camera at his smiling face. He’s too drunk to notice you recording, swaying you side to side as the alcohol consumes his living thoughts.
🎾 ⊹ ‧
You’re pleasantly surprised when Park Sunghoon invites you to one of his matches. It’s not a state competition—but it’s his competition that he invited you to nonetheless.
Your eyes rush back and forth from Sunghoon to his opponent, the ball stroke faster and faster until your head starts hurting from cranking too close. It was a match against Stanford, Sunghoon was playing against a girl named Kelsley Aptos, who was stunning enough to make your film pop.
You cracked your neck before taking out your camera, recording the two competing. As soon as Kelsley misses the ball, you stop filming, standing up to applaud Sunghoon.
The girl isn’t happy, in fact, she’s almost furious with the way her lip twitches. But she does as any good sport would do, shake Sunghoon’s hand and tell him good game.
“I like your skirt,” Sunghoon tells her, licking his lips which were now dry from all the playing. “It’s pretty.”
“Well thanks Park,” she replies. “I like your stance.”
You’ll never understand the way athletes compliment each other—and hell you probably never will since you’ve practically signed your life to the film industry.
He grins, then makes his way to you. “You see how I beat Aptos? She was great, stunning.”
You don’t know why your stomach churns at the way he describes her. Was it jealousy? It couldn’t be; you barely knew Sunghoon, so why the hell were you genuinely upset over him calling Kelsley Aptos stunning?
“C’mon,” he draws you to his side, way too close for two people who’ve only gotten to know each other in the span of two days. “I believe we have to celebrate with drinks.”
🎾 ⊹ ‧
If there’s one thing about Park Sunghoon that you’re utterly confused by is his lack of self control.
On the court, he’s insane, unbeatable, practically a God in the world of tennis. But after tennis, after the matches, he’s chugging down as many alcoholic beverages as he can take, which is far too many a person—much less a college athlete—should inhale.
Sunghoon liked it though. He liked the way the liquor burned as it went down his throat, he liked the way it cooled in his body and how lightheaded he felt everytime he’d drink. When he wasn’t drinking, he was smoking.
You two were perched on lawn chairs, on opposite ends of each other. The chairs oversaw the beach near Harvard, and you could hear the whoosh of the waves as it drew closer.
“Your coach would kill you,” you said, grinning as you watched him inhale the cigarette. He’s not sober, clearly, but his stamina is good enough that he could make out his surroundings and conversations.
“He totally would.”
You perch your camera up on your knee, secretly recording Sunghoon as he leaned his head against the chair. Although he claims he’s so out of it, he looks so beautiful.
“Will you teach me tennis one day, Park?”
He lifts his head up slightly, eyes making direct contact with yours. “Will you teach me film?”
You nod, and he does too.
“Then it’s a deal Nishimura.”
🎾 ⊹ ‧
Sunghoon is a bad influence.
You can tell now that you’ve known him for a month and by the way he drags you into parties, your little camera still dangling around your neck like it was engraved there.
“You know what they would say if they saw Harvard’s precious athlete partying his ass off on a Wednesday night?” Sunghoon yells over the music.
“What?” You yell back.
“How preposterous!”
The two of you giggle loudly at that, bodies so close to each other that it looks like you’re making out to anyone who wasn’t closely paying attention.
“Hey Y/N,” he says, and as you look up, his eyes are already meeting yours. “I like you a lot.”
You smile at that, letting Sunghoon lean in and kiss you right there and then.
It just felt right. So right. Like a missing piece of a puzzle was finally discovered.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
🎾 ⊹ ‧
It feels like you’re discovering a new piece of Park Sunghoon everyday as you get to know more of him.
He was no longer Harvard star tennis player Park Sunghoon, but your boyfriend Park Sunghoon.
It felt weird, but giddy. Girls who had thrown themselves on him before backed off with fury, wondering why a random film student of all people got with their beloved athlete.
You don’t mind that Sunghoon loves tennis, you really don’t. You know he wants to go pro, it’s all he’s ever talked about on your dates and calls.
“I’m gonna make it to the Olympics.” He says. “You’ll see.”
“I’m sure I will Hoonie.”
What you do mind is the fact that Sunghoon loves tennis too much. His fixation with the sport concerns you, but that’s just what happens when you’ve been playing since you were 3, isn’t it? The sport becomes one with you.
“Park Sunghoon! How was your match?” The interviewer asks, shoving his microphone into Sunghoon’s face.
“Oh it was great man, lovely weather.”
“Mhm, a great warm glow over Boston today! Have you always loved tennis this much?”
“Yes, honestly, tennis is my number one. It’s the reason I breathe and live today.”
He doesn’t mention anything about you when asked about what he loved. He never did. It was always the same thing.
Tennis, tennis, tennis.
If you hadn’t seen the red flags that were ringing before, you clearly were now.
“Are you seriously upset I didn’t mention you in my interview?” Sunghoon asks, biting into his apple angrily.
“Yes! It’d be nice for you to mention me once in your interview but you never do! It’s always the same bullshit Hoon!”
“I love tennis, why can’t I talk about it? It’s what the people want! They watch me for tennis, they don’t watch me for some stupid relationship.”
“Oh, so this is relationship is stupid to you now?”
“You’re twisting my words and you fucking know it.”
You and Sunghoon haven’t talked in over a week. All because you had practically begged him just to talk about you once. Was it so hard for him to show appreciation to his own girlfriend?
It didn’t help when you went to try and visit him on the court, practicing what you were going to say. He was already too engrossed in his conversation with Kelsley Aptos, their proximity dangerously close.
Fine. You think. If Park Sunghoon wants to play this way, we can fucking play it this way.
The next thing you knew, the headlines were filled with PARK SUNGHOON, HARVARD STAR ATHLETE CAUGHT EXCESSIVELY DRINKING AND SMOKING, blaring all over Boston, with the clips from your camera being right on the front page.

Tumblr media

Regina George x Reader

Underage smoking, underage drinking, ED mentions.
Parts
Part 1// Part 2// Part 3// Part 4// Part 5// Part 6
Regina doesn’t say a word to you, or even glance your way.
She storms in and throws her bag down onto the bed next to yours, sweeping your clothes onto the floor with her hand. You open you mouth to protest but she cuts you off.
“Not a word, loser.”
Loser means she hasn’t got anything specific against you. No blackmail material, no weird rumours. Loser is a good place to be.
You sit on your bed and watch in silence as she starts to replace the pillows on the bed with her own pink pillows and satin blanket. She takes up over half the drawers for her own clothes, moving yours into a single pile at the bottom of the shared wardrobe. She puts her makeup and toothbrush, both varying shades of pink in the bathroom. She’s marking her territory.
“Don’t touch my shit.” She scowls, flips her hair and swiftly leaves the cabin. Her faint vanilla scent lingers in the air. It’s both intoxicating and sickly.
You wait a few minutes before you leave too, just to make sure you don’t accidentally bump into her and make yourself a target. The last thing you want is to be Regina’s plaything of the week.
Todays activity would be orienteering. You stand around the campfire pit, avoiding the crowd, waiting for instruction on where to go.
“Please stay in your room groups, follow the map you’ve been given. You’ll be taken to where your group will be starting, just follow the map back to camp. Everyone understand?”
There are excited chatters as everyone groups up with their friends. Unfortunately for you, the crowd parts to reveal Regina who’s giving you a look like she might murder you in the woods and leave you there.
You wait, in silence, next to Regina, for a camp member to pick you up in a jeep and drive through the forest to your particular starting point.
“Please don’t make me, don’t leave me here. I’m too pretty for this” Regina whines as the keep drives away, leaving you both stranded in a clearing.
Against better judgement you decide to speak. “I’m sorry you couldn’t go with Karen and Gretchen.”
“Whatever, just give me the map.” She snaps and snatches it from your hands. Wordlessly she stomps off through the trees. You have no option but to follow like a lost puppy.
As it happens, Regina isn’t a great map reader. And lots of the forest looks identical which makes it even harder. Your feet start to ache, you feel like you’ve been walking in circles for the past couple of hours.
“Can I please just look quickly, I trust you know where we’re going but I think I should still just look at the map” you try to reason which was clearly an awful move because she starts to turn around slowly to face you.
She moves, she’s stalking you like prey as she comes towards you.
“Are you calling me dumb?” She growls.
You shake your head, suddenly unable to speak, afraid that any sound past your lips would make her pounce.
“I’m reading the map, loser. I don’t want to be stuck out here any longer than necessary.” She spins around and continues her forward march through the forest.
This is going to be a long day.
It’s been hours since you or Regina said a word to each other, and hours since you started walking. You hadn’t stopped for a break. You managed to eat an apple while you walked, throwing the core into a bush but Regina hadn’t taken her hands off of the map to eat, drink or give you a look at where you were going.
You felt for your box of cigarettes in your pocket. Regina probably wouldn’t turn around or notice, and you needed one now, Regina is really starting to test your patience. Just as you put the cigarette to your lips ready to light ,Regina’s knee buckles and she trips slightly, heading straight for the ground.
Instinctively you go to catch her, both hands under her arms.
“Get off me weirdo.” She barks but it comes out a little more strained than usual. She’s gone pale and there’s a sheen of sweat across her perfect forehead. Somehow she’s still effortlessly beautiful.
She pushes herself up and tries to keep walking but her legs start to falter again and you rush forward again and catch her as she faints.
You try calling her name, shaking her gently, offering her water but nothing brings her round. Her hands feel cold.
Fuck.
In a panic you call the emergency number a teacher had given you and someone says they’ll come to collect you both in a jeep and administer first aid.
Regina comes round before the jeep arrives and you can feel the anger and embarrassment radiating off her. You try and think of something to say. She doesn’t speak to you the entire way back.
Everyone stares as they see you both come back to camp after being picked up but Regina plays it off well, bragging that she even gets treated like royalty here. You admire her ability to make quick excuses, and to be honest she still looks like royalty. Beautiful blonde hair cascading past her shoulders, icy blue eyes, sweet vanilla scent, outfit still perfect. Only you noticed the lingering sweat, the nervous look in her eye and the slight grass stain on the back of her jacket.
When the car stops Regina gets out and immediately goes to find Gretchen and Karen to sit together for dinner. Half of you is glad she’s gone, she was starting to get irritating, but you also want to make sure she’s okay. You go back to the table you were at before, you can’t help but watch her again.
Just making sure she’s okay, you repeat to yourself.
This time you watch her eat closely, notice she picks up food and when her friends aren’t looking and drops it under the bench onto the dusty floor. You wonder if that’s why she fainted earlier. You’re not sure why the thought of that makes you angry, and a knot forms in your stomach. It makes it hard to finish your food.
When dinner is over the teachers watch the three girls closely, making sure they go back to their newly assigned cabins. All three comply which means there’s a moody Regina heading your way.
You sit on your bed and pretend not to hear the door open, and keep your eyes fixed on your phone, pretending to read or maybe scroll social media.
The giveaway is that you forgot to let out the breath you were holding.
“If you tell anyone what happened I will ruin your life.”
You just nod, not daring to look up at her until you hear her lay on her bed and roll so she’s facing the wall away from you.
Then you allow your eyes to look at the sleeping lioness, her breathing seems slow. Maybe she’s asleep.
Your eyes trace down her curves- that is dangerous territory. You look away sharply just incase somehow she knows you’re looking.
She’s probably asleep.
You reach over to your bag and try and pull out your switch as quietly as possible. Mario kart, that’ll take your mind off of Regina.
You’re on your third lap when you feel the bed move and smell that addicting, warm vanilla scent.
“What is that you’re playing, dweeb?” It’s like she can’t even ask a normal question without it being insulting.
“Mario kart? Have you never played Mario kart?” You question her, meeting her gaze which seems slightly less intense than usual. To be honest, you can’t really picture someone like Regina playing a dorky game like Mario.
You disconnect the joy cons and throw one at her. She gives you a wary, icy look and picks up one of the controllers, scooting closer while still maintaining a large gap between you both.
You’re disappointed for some reason.
She obviously picks peach, and the pinkest cart, completely ignoring its stats which makes you giggle to yourself. You play as Bowser.
The first race you explain the controls to her, she picks it up quite quickly but you have years of experience on her and win.
She pouts and sends a glare your way. You stick your tongue out.
She giggles, Regina giggles and it might be the best sound you’ve heard. You definitely want to hear more. She doesn’t seem threatening like this. How much of Regina was an act?
The second race, she loses again, you win but not by too much, she’s definitely getting better. When you look over at her, her brows are furrowed and she’s completely lost in the game now, determined to win. The way she licks her lips when she’s concentrating makes you blush, and you’re glad she doesn’t look up.
The third game is nearly neck and neck but you beat her again. She finally snaps.
“What the fuck, you gave me a shit controller! I could have beat you!” She yells.
“Not my fault you suck at Mario kart.” You quip back bravely. She also sucks at losing apparently.
Suddenly she springs up and pounces, desperately trying to grab the controller off of you, but you hold on. You nearly forget why you’re holding it, mostly you’re squeezing the controller to distract yourself from Regina’s hair tickling your face, her lips being so close, her knees either side of your thighs.
She puts up a good fight but you start to see that familiar sheen of sweat and she seems cold and clammy all of a sudden. She must notice this because she huffs out a whatever and gets up, wobbling to her bed.
You miss everything about her suddenly, that one hit of the real Regina was enough to have you addicted.
She lays again, but this time face up, trying to control her breathing. You realise she’s on the verge of passing out again.
“I have a cereal bar in my bag, I don’t want it, you’re welcome to have it.”
She huffs and looks at you.
“I’m not accepting food from anyone after that stunt Cady Heron pulled. Who knows, you might be giving me a bar of lard.” She spits, but you can tell even speaking is hard for her now.
“It was just an offer.” You reply quietly.
Once she’s steadied herself again she stands and rummage through her bag, pulling out a half empty bottle of vodka and 2 plastic cups. She pours 2 shots worth into both and fills it with a fizzy orange mixer. She hands you a cup.
“You better not get too drunk and puke and get me into trouble like Karen.” She says as she takes a sip.
You both drink in silence for a while. The alcohol makes you feel warm and fuzzy, and a little too calm in Regina’s presence.
“Why don’t I know you?” Regina suddenly breaks the silence.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, you’re not a new student, so why don’t I know you, I don’t know what you’re about.” She leans towards you like she’s inspecting you.
“I don’t know I just stay out of the drama.” You answer truthfully.
“Huh, boring answer.” She says taking another drink. “You’re friends with Pyro Lez though, that’s not exactly staying out of it.”
You shake your head “I only started hanging with them after that whole mess. Me and Janis have a mutual interest.”
“Is it girls?”
You stutter for a moment and see a glimpse of intrigue flash across Regina’s face.
“It’s art.”
You haven’t lied. That’s what connected you and Janis in the first place, it was a lucky dodge to the question.
She’s staring at you with an unreadable expression and you decide to stand awkwardly and get your cigarettes. You need a break from Regina, this feels all too much like she’s trying to uncover your weak spot.
It’s hard to tell what’s genuine or not.
You sneak outside to your spot from last night and light the cigarette, inhaling deeply, mostly from the butterflies in your stomach, bouncing around your rib cage.
Obviously you noticed Regina at school, who didn’t? But you’ve never had this much interaction with her. You can see why people fall victim to her so easily, there’s a side to her that seems so real, Is this part of her trap? Maybe you’re just easy prey but the chase is feeling all too thrilling.
Everything about her draws you in, golden hair, soft lips, even her scent. Are her lips as soft as they look?
Before you can register, the cigarette is pulled from your lips as you see Regina take a drag and then place it back between your fingers.
You skin burns where her hand brushes yours.
Suddenly she reaches to grip your hand, steadying herself. She clearly feels faint again. She’s swaying slightly and she looks like she’s losing focus.
“You need to eat something.” You state bluntly.
“Whatever you don’t know me.” She spits back, but she’s still gripping your hand. She starts to lean a bit too much.
“Fuck, Regina. Okay we’re going back inside.” You have to half drag her back inside the cabin and prop her up on the bed.
You check the cabins mini fridge, you brought enough food to sustain you that week. You didn’t know if the camp would have vegan food so better safe than sorry. Luckily the cabin had a mini fridge, probably for drinks but you stored some meals in there to keep fresh, and there was a microwave in the small kitchen.
You grab a pot and throw it in the microwave. Hopefully Regina doesn’t mind mushrooms.
She’s still laying on the bed, eyes squeezed shut, trying to get the room to stop spinning. You feel momentarily guilty for drinking with her, you knew she hadn’t eaten, it was a bad idea.
The microwave pings and you grab a fork and take it over to Regina.
“I’m not eating that, it’s probably processed shit.” It comes out as a defeated sigh.
“I made it, just eat something please, passing out wouldn’t be a good look” This makes her think, and she picks up the fork and takes a bite. The whole time she’s glaring at you so you decide to sit on the bed and play on your switch again.
You don’t look up for a good half an hour. Worried that Regina will stop eating if you so much as move. Clearly the whole thing with Cady has made her wary of food. The thought makes you feel sick. The plastics may rule the school but the constant insecurity that seems to come with it is too big of a price to pay.
A quiet voice breaks the silence.
“Thank you.”
You smile slightly but still don’t look up from your game until you hear shuffling and Regina is holding your sketchbook before you have time to snatch it back.
Your heart is in your throat, you’re not sure why her possible criticism of your sketch bothers you so much.
“This is beautiful.”
You’re beautiful, you idiot why don’t you see it, you think, but don’t say it out loud.
She tears the page from your book. Great, Back to cruel Regina, tearing up anything she doesn’t see as worthy.
What you don’t expect is her folding and placing the sketch under her pillow.
“I’m tired now.” She yawns and climbs into bed, flicking the lamp next to her off.
You’re left in the dark, confused, but you can’t help the small smile that creeps across your lips.

"I had to talk to you."
Tumblr media
Repost from other account
2.4k words
CW: Heavy flirtation, canon divergence (S4 end events didn't happen), College Student!Steve, Steve has shit eyesight
October 13th, 1989
Steve sighs, leaning back on the drivers side of his 1983 BMW. Burgundy paint starting to chip on the hood, the car becoming less appealing day by day. Girls passing by not even looking in his direction anymore. He was old news in Hawkins after people found out he had finally started at a college half an hour away in Fort Wayne. Just starting his life like everyone else did 4 years ago just wasn't appealing to most girls.
At least not Hawkins girls.
But at this point he didn't care. He was proud of himself for pulling his life together after all the bullshit he had been put through. With saving an entire town too many god damn times. Cutting his dad off when his parents divorced. Moving out to get a rented house with his best friend Robin. Just what he learned he needed over time.
Getting into a good school by himself with no help was just a cherry on top of the fuck you sundae he graciously served his past problems.
He was satisfied with what he had right now.
Dustin walks out of the new game shop in the newest strip mall to grace Hawkins. Steve looks up, pushing his Ray-Ban sunglasses onto his head.
"You made it out before, Robin. I'm surprised." Dustin glanced at the instrument shop a few doors down, then back to Steve. "You get what Eddie needed?"
"Mostly yeah. She's still getting her trumpet fixed?" Steve shrugs at Dustin's question and slides his sunglasses down in place again.
"She probably got distracted looking at something shiny and new. You know Robins crow brain sometimes." Dustin laughs, looking into his bag, shuffling a few things around inside.
Steve looked over at the liquor store at the end of the strip mall. Looking back at Dustin, he taps the top of the car. His head snapped up, eyes a bit surprised at the sudden noise.
"You want anything?" Steve asks, tilting his head back towards the store.
"Coke? If they got it." Dustin simply replied before getting in the back seat. Steve nods and walks to the liquor store.
The bell chimes over his head as he walks through the door. He takes in the warmth of the store and the radio playing over the speakers on the ceiling. Such a nice contrast to the crisp Autumn air outside.
He turns heading down an isle of assorted liquor bottles and bar accessories before finally stopping at the fridge. Humming along to the song over the radio, mumbling the lyrics to 'I wanna know what love is' absentmindedly.
Sliding his glasses down his nose, he squints at the selection. All the labels are blurry the farther he is, he steps forward rubbing his eyes and sure doesn't help with the florescent lighting blinding him from above.
God I need to get my eyes checked.
Opening the fridge, he grabs the 3 soft drinks and a 6-pack for later when he hears a metal scrapping and whoosh next to him. Followed by a muffled but panicked "Shit!"
Looking over, he sees the back of a squatting woman struggling with a metal shelf slipping out of one of the fridges.
Walking over, he quickly puts his things down and pushes the shelf back in. The metal shelf, cold against his warm skin as he reaches into the fridge, fixing the fasteners back into place.
An issue he's all too familiar with working at Family Video. The fridge racks always got loose and every time it happened he was always made to clean them up. He could only imagine the mess a bunch of glasses and beer would have made.
"Thank you so much!" The woman speaks as Steve stands up, slowly closing the door. Looking back, he finally sees your face. His lips slightly part as you continue talking, he can't hear a word you're saying right now.
All he can hear is the very oddly convenient Foreigner song playing over the store radio as he takes in every detail of your gorgeous face. From your shiny hair to your bright smile. The vibrant colored nail polish on your fingers you're waving as you talk. You're unfamiliar, he's never seen you before, but you're an absolute stunner of a woman.
Steve never thought of himself as a love at first sight kind of guy. But right now he was undoubtedly being proven wrong by the spark he was feeling, not to mention the nervous knot in his stomach.
"But really you're a life saver... Thank you." You stop talking, looking at him. Your face falls as he perks up, realizing he's just been staring like a complete idiot this entire time.
"You're welcome!" He spoke, choking almost over how inappropriately loud he was for a second. Feeling the effect of not talking to women for a while really hit him. You look down at his soon-to-be purchases.
"Full Sail Amber. Good beer." You comment, making him look at the floor and nod.
Crouching down, he grabs his things and stands cracking his head on one of the fridge door handles. His sunglasses fell off his face and onto the floor. He stands up wedging his soft drink between his side and arm. Rubbing his head with a hiss.
"You okay?" You ask with a slight chuckle. Bending down, you grab the sunglasses, Steve moves his hand, grabbing the bottom of the door handle to shield your head from injury.
"Yeah, thanks." Before he gets to put his hand out to take his Ray-Bans back, you slide them on his head with a soft smile.
God she's so fucking pretty.
"You're welcome. And thanks again for... Saving me from paying for a full shelf of beer." She turned down the isle to another part of the store.
Part of Steve wants to follow you and try chatting you up, but the slight embarrassment of hurting his head just keeps him from doing so.
He turns, goes to the front of the store and makes his purchases. Heading outside, he walks to his car, finally seeing Robin in her usual spot, the passenger seat. Opening the driver's door, he slips in.
"There you are!" Robin looked at him, her trumpet case in-between her legs on the floor of the car.
"What's with the face?" Dustin asks, Steve looking at him in the rearview, glaring.
"Shut up Henderson." He hands them their sodas, moving to close his car door when he hears the bell from the liquor store chime.
Out you walk, starting across the parking lot to a top-down red 86' Volkswagen Cabriolet. Steve freezes, staring again. He really can't help but stare.
"Oooh." Robin and Dustin both taunt him, making him sigh. He needs more friends, fewer annoying friends.
"She's pretty." Robin says looking at Dustin.
"Too pretty to talk to, apparently." Dustin adds, laughing as he looks back at Steve.
"I talked to her in the store." Dustin raised his eyebrows, pushing his baseball cap up a bit.
"You asked her out?"
"No." Steve watches you load your bag into the back seat and start pulling the top up on your car.
"Not too late!" Robin smiled, taking a sip of her drink. Dustin looked at her.
"He's not gonna do it."
"No, he's gonna do it."
Steve feels like he has a devil and an angel bickering on his shoulders right now. His foot meets the new asphalt of the parking lot as you open your driver's door.
He's quickly out of the driver's seat.
"Holy shit he's doing it." Dustin comments as he shuts the door on them.
He stops at the bumper of his car, hearing your car engine click over. Music pours out of your open windows before you turn it down quickly.
The universe is screaming at him to talk to you when he starts hearing that familiar Tears for Fears song, 'Head Over Heels'.
Please don't pull away, please don't pull away.
He nearly sprints across the parking lot out of fear of missing his chance. Upon reaching the car, he knocks on the back window, pulling you from looking for something in the console.
"Hi..." He says awkwardly, approaching the window. Leaning on the door, he smiles as you smile back.
"Hi. You need something?" He gets so agitated that you smirk up at him.
'Why'd you have to be so God damn pretty?'
"Sorry if this is weird, but I had to talk to you." He started, finally being able to say something. Your eyes go half shut with a soft nod.
"Talk to me?" He nods, clenching the door frame for a second. "Go ahead then. Talk."
His eyes go wide in surprise at your sudden confidence. Steve stammered for a second.
"Uh... At the risk of sounding crazy or desperate... You're probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life." You can feel your body warm up as he gives the most genuine smile you've seen on a man in a while.
"Mmhm, go on."
"Are you by chance single? Or like... Are you even attracted to men at all?" He asks, sheepishly smiling.
"Yes, and yes." Your smirk slowly turns into a grin as he squats to eye level now, feeling a bit more confident after your answer.
"I'm Steve, by the way. Steve Harrington." He smiles again hearing you reply with your name. "Are you new to Hawkins?"
"I am actually. I just moved here from the city and needed to stay nearby for school."
"Where are you going?"
"Trine University." His eyes go wide, the same school he goes to. What are the odds?
"Really? I actually go there too. Education major." You look him up and down. You never pegged him for the teacher type.
"Software Engineering major."
"So you're smart and gorgeous. Good to know." He smirks, finally feeling like himself when talking as your flush finally becomes noticeable. "You like movies?"
"What kind of psychopath doesn't like movies?" He laughs at your response, leaning in closer to the window.
"Lemme be more specific. The new Halloween 5 movie came out today. You interested in seeing it? Maybe with me tonight at the drive-in theater in Lafayette. We can have dinner after. All my treat, of course." He can see the sparkle in your eyes, that spark he felt looking at you before is still lingering around him.
"What's in it for me?" You playfully ask. He cocks his head to the side, leaning it on his arm for a second.
"A fun night out with a gentleman, I promise I'm fun." You chuckle, rolling your eyes, he knows you want to say yes. "Please?"
He'd never said please before when asking a girl out. It didn't feel embarrassing like he thought it would. You turn your attention back to the console looking for something.
Pulling out a napkin and pen, you quickly write down your number and address. Turning back, you hold it out to him as he takes it.
"I'm free at 8. And dress nicely. You're taking me somewhere decent after the movie."
"I'll take you to the most expensive restaurant I can find if that's what you want. I don't care. As long as I get to see you again." You laugh at his bluntness, it's like music to his ears.
"That won't be necessary. I don't need to be spoiled."
"What if I want to spoil you?" That caught you off guard as you didn't respond right away. He let a soft breath escape his mouth. "You like roses?"
"White roses." You reply, he nods, standing up again and folding the napkin, storing it in his back jean pocket for safe keeping.
"I'll be sure to remember that." You two just stare at each other in silence for a minute. No man's ever looked at you like Steve has right now, it makes your heart race from nervousness.
"I'll see you at 8 o'clock then." You look past him for a moment and back to him. "Tell your friends I said hello since they like to stare so much."
Raising an eyebrow, Steve turned his head. He sees Robin poking her head over the roof of the car and Dustin sitting on the rolled down window frame. They quickly hurry back into the car, noticing they've been caught. He should be embarrassed, but he fully expects their behavior from being friends for so long.
"Ignore them." Steve says, sighing as he looks back at you. "I'll see you at 8."
He turned away towards his car, trying to stay as confident as he was before turning his back. Reaching his car, he pops the door open, clutching it for dear life as he silently collects himself. Robin poked her head across the driver's seat to look up at him.
"You good dude?" She asks, concerned but also excited as he just nods.
You pull out of your parking spot, stopping behind his car and honk once to get his attention. Dustin pops his head out the back window as Robin looks out her open door. Steves head snaps up at you as you lean on your window frame, chin on fist with the most shit eating grin on your face.
"See you at 8 sexy~" You called to him. And then you have the balls to blow him a kiss before peeling out of the parking lot.
Steve silently gets in the car. Robin shuts her door as Steve does his. Dustin sits forward looking at Steve, who's just gripping his steering wheel, the adrenaline starting to wear off.
"Dude, she's so into you, into you!" Dustin breaks the silence as Robin nods.
"And I'd say it's the same for Harrington here." Robin grins as a massive smile spreads across Steve's face.
He starts excitedly thrashing frontwards and backwards. Enough to shake the car and look like he's about to rip the steering wheel from it's column. He lets out an excited yell, causing his two friends to laugh at him.
He let out a long breath, looking at them.
"She says hi by the way."

It’s a beautiful day to ride out for a Date with the one and only Joel Miller. It’s late September when the leaves are turning into a sea of yellow, orange and red specks. The temperatures gradually decrease until one day they completely drop. You’re excited for the first winter you’ll experience in Jackson.
Joel has been your boyfriend for about 6 months.
And ever since he asked you to be his, he tries to take you out for a little Date every other week where it’s just you two without any distractions.
Joel is sitting behind you this time, usually he’s in the front. He’s better at horse riding than you. He knows his horse blue obviously better than you do, still you wanted to have the rains this time.
You love feeling him so close behind you, a big solid warm wall of a man, your man.
One of his arms is curled around your waist, hand resting on your belly and the other arm is placed on your thigh with his hand gripping your inner thigh.
After riding for about an hour you approach the big open field and tell Joel you want to get off.
Of course the gentleman that he is he helps you down which is probably not a good idea with his bad back. That’s nothing to stop him though.
Once you’re standing on your own two feet you lean up to peck him on one of his scruffy cheeks “Thank you cowboy” and then you tip your imaginary Stetson towards him giggling sweetly.
Joel is used to your shenanigans at this point. “Ya lucky I think ur cute, Sunny girl.” He smiles but then it turns into something more sorrowful “Sa…- Sarah would’ve loved ya Darlin.” You know how hard it still is to talk about her “Why’s that?”
“Cuz ya so incredibly kind, gentle, humorous and fearless. Jus like she was.”
“I’m not fearless Joel, I’m afraid all the time. Most of all about what I would do without you. I’d lose myself.”
“Don’t worry bout that baby I’m not gonna ever leave ya alone. I promise.” He holds up his little pinky and you intertwine yours with his. Smiling at each other.
It’s moments like this where you realize how much you love Joel Miller. You love his dark brown eyes, his equally dark brown hair streaked with greys, the curve of his prominent nose and his strong jaw that’s sparsely covered in salt-pepper scruff.
His broad frame makes him seem unbreakable as does his normally so grumpy attitude towards anyone, but you know he is way more than this. For you and Ellie he tries to let his walls down.
You grab his hand and tug him forwards so you can walk across the field with blue on his side going along with you two.
The field is your favorite place to go to and even though it might not be the safest since it’s such an open spot, it’s the prettiest scenery you’ve ever come across. Beyond the field the woods start again and in the far distance you can see the mountains.
You turn to Joel “You think maybe there’s a lodge somewhere up in the mountains?”
He thinks about it for a moment and then responds “Yeah maybe, why ya askin?”
You shrug your shoulders. “I don’t know maybe if there’s one we could go there in winter as a lil family trip with Ellie.”
Joel smiles “s’ a nice idea Sunny. When we’re back in Jackson, I’ll ask Tommy to go look with me. Ya gonna get the lodge of your dream Baby.” With that he pulls you close to his chest and presses a kiss to the top of your head.
Tumblr media
Once you’ve crossed the field you turn around to take a look at the stunning sunset.
You tug at Joel’s jacket to get him to notice
“Joel, look at how majestic the sunset is.”
He turns and gently laughs and you look at him confused.
“What?”
“Sunny, the sunsets, they ain’t got nothing on you. Ya the prettiest thing in this world.
Cheesy old men you think to yourself.
“I love you Joel.”
“I love you too Baby.”
Tumblr media
3 months later…..
Kneeling in the snow, all you can think about is how much you wish to rewind time and stop yourself from ever telling Joel about finding that stupid lodge. The bitter reality is, you cannot do anything you have to live with the consequences of your actions.

Part 1 , Part 3
Tumblr media
"Right in here, please," I say as I put a checkmark on the list of things to put away before closing the bakery. "I need everything to go smoothly as possible on Monday."
"Why are you so snappy?"
I turn, giving Luna a confused look. "I'm not snappy."
"Uh huh," she rolls her eyes as she took off her apron. "Let's go before you start hyperventilating about seeing their fanmeet in about," she glances at her wrist watch, "3 hours."
"I don't know what to wear."
"Alright. Let's go."
"Where we going?"
---------------------------------------------------------
We arrived at the venue an hour earlier and we showed the tickets to the vendor. "Ah, right this way please." He leads us to a different enterance and I glance at the back, seeing others standing in line with merch.
"But-"
"Ma'am, these are VIIP tickets. It gives you access to backstage."
"Okay. He's definitely going in the good books," Luna says smiling.
"Jeez, how much do you think he spent of these tickets?"
"Honestly? Probably a lot, but who knows?" She shrugs her shoulders. "Maybe he got them knowing you were coming."
Fuck. How do you expect to me to act after knowing this information?
We walk around the staff and stand just right to the main stage. The butterflies in my stomach right now is nothing compared to what it would've been watching them from the front. This was their 4th fanmeet and I couldn't have been more happier for them. They have achieved so much in the past 6 years.
"Okay, wow. This is awesome," Luna says, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Are you sure I'm wearing the right clothes?"
"Yes, now stop fussing over it!"
She made me wear a black corset with black skirt, boots and a leather jacket. My hair was down in loose curls. Okay, maybe she does have some taste.
"Hey, you made it."
I turn around and I'm again blown away by he man in front of me. He was wearing a blue coat and pants with white shirt underneath, topped with black boots. And his hair was styled in a wavy look. And damn, he looked good. "I hope no one gave you trouble coming inside?"
"Uh, no. Everything went smoothly," I replied. I felt a poke on my arm. "Ah, right. This is my best friend, Luna."
"Oh, hi Luna. Nice to meet you."
"Yeah," she waves nervously at him. I roll my eyes. Why did I even bring her with me?
Then more guys appear behind him. Oh my god. It's them. Leeknow, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. The whole gang is here. Holy cannolli. This isn't real life.
"Alright, we gotta go. It's time for us to go on the stage," Chan states. For a second, I felt his eyes trail over me, my attire but he turned around and walked away with the group. I blinked, asking myself what happened.
But he turned around and walked straight to me. He takes my hand and says, "I'll see you later?"
I nod.
He smiles, his dimples on display. He leans in, placing a chaste kiss on my cheek. "See you later, babygirl," he says, winking at me before sprinting back.
"Did he just....kiss you on the cheek? Wait. Am I dreaming?" Luna pinches her arm and hisses in pain. "Definitely not dreaming. Holy shit."
Holy shit was right.
Because their fanmeet was a success. They played small games, did dance challenges, did a lot of performances and by the end of it all, they were still happy and energetic. I don't think I've ever seen them be this happy before.
And their performances? Just wow. And with Chan in a sleeveless top? Those arms made me weak in the knees. "Stop drooling."
I sigh, feeling those butterflies again. "Luna, I'm not drooling."
"Is it me or is he only looking at you?"
"Who?" I asked as I follow the direction she pointed at. He's smiling, but his eyes show something else, something desperate as he looks at me. He disappears in the back rooms, probably to change and freshen up.
"Okay. You have my permission," Luna nods.
"Permission?" I blinked at her.
"To get thoroughly fucked by h-oompf."
I cover her mouth with my hand. "Are you insane?!"
She pries my hand off. "Do you not want to? You do know who he is, even as the biker tiktok dude."
"I knew I shouldn't have told you that."
"Hey, I would've found out either way. But the question still remains."
"Which is?"
"Do you like him? Enough to take you, sweep you off your feet?"
"I mean yeah, but-"
"Oh. Here he comes."
He walks over, wearing all black. Very similar clothing to mine. "Ready?"
"Uh, are we leaving?"
"Yes. You and me. I wanna take you for a ride."
I look at Luna then back at him. I feel her hand on my back, giving me a little push. He grabs my hand, intertwining it with his own as we walk away, sprint more like, away from the book. "Wait. What about the res-" He stops, turns around and cups my face, he takes advantage of my surprised expression and swoops in for a kiss. When he pulls away, he smiles down at me before grabbing my hand again and walking outside.
What just happened?
---------------------------------------------------------
*CHAN'S POV*
The roar of the engine filled the night air as I zoomed down the empty road, the darkness engulfing me like a comforting shroud. The pair of gloves hands around my waist felt more comfortable than riding my bike alone. Her hands were small but god, did they feel good against me.
My headlights cut through the blackness ahead, illuminating the twisting road as it disappeared into the distance. The cool night air whipped against my helmet, the only sound besides the thundering of the engine. I was going to the place I had found a few weeks ago, where I could be this tiktok personality I made for myself.
I felt her arms tightened around me. Maybe she wasn't used to bike rides? Flashes of streetlights and neon signs painted the surroundings in streaks of light, blurring past in a colorful whirlwind. The occasional silhouette of a building or tree flashed by, casting eerie shadows in my path.
As I leaned into the curves, the sensation of speed combined with the solitude of the empty road created a thrilling sense of freedom. But with her behind me, it was more than freedom. I had been waiting for this day. I wanted to see her again because when I dropped her off at her place the other day, all I wanted to do was rip off that dress she wore.
It was then I knew that I was fucked. 100% fully fucked.
The city lights glimmered in the distance, a distant beacon guiding us on our journey through the night. In that moment, it was just me, my bike, Y/N and the open road stretching out before us—an endless expanse of possibility and adventure.
As I take a turn, I felt her hands wandering. Any lower, it would be dangerous territory. I grab her hand and squeeze. A warning. But as I speed off into the highway, her hands slide down low. Lower. Until they've reached their destination.
The little minx.
Through my tight jeans, she uses her hands to grab my clothed dick and gives it a rub. Fuck. My hand tightens as I try to maintain my hormones at bay level till we were at the destination.
5 minutes.
She gives it another rub and I almost crash. This is going to be harder than I thought.
4 minutes.
I swerve into the left lane, as the traffic was faster and I wanted nothing more to reach the location faster than I had originally planned.
3 minutes.
I groan as her hands slide up and down a bit quicker. I grip her hand, stopping it.
2 minutes.
Reaching around my back, I find her ass cheek and gives it squeeze. Hard. I feel her jerk towards my back.
1 minute.
Taking a left turn, I see the familiar abandoned cliff as her hand reaches down again. I curse as I increase the speed of my bike. I need to get there faster.
30 seconds.
Slowing down the bike, I, very gently, park the bike.
15 seconds.
Turning off the ignition, I wait till she's off the bike. Then I climb off, unbuckle the clasp of my helmet before taking it off as she also takes her helmet off.
5 seconds.
I stare at her till she's composed herself. Then I'm on her.
*Y/N POV*
I don't get time to breathe as he's on me within seconds, our helmets long forgotten on the ground. Lips and teeth clashing as his hands slide around my back, giving it a slight push towards him. I felt his hardness on my lower tummy. "Wait," I lightly push him away. "I need to breathe."
His delicious mouth travels down to my jaw and neck, leaving a trail of wet kisses. "Mmm, Channie," I moan as he sucks and bites a spot on my neck.
"You little minx," he breathes against my mouth. His hands travels to my hair and grabs a bunch before yanking on it lightly making my head tilt up a bit. "Do you have any idea what you do to me?"
"I may know on some leve-, ah," I let out a yelp when he yanks on my hair.
"Brat." He growls, attacking my neck with wet kisses and biting the delicate skin. "I had to tell the boys I was going for my nightly rides," he gives a long sniff before coming up. "But they don't know I was going with you."
Fuck.
I'm then hoisted up on the bike as he settles himself between my legs and kisses me again. His kisses are desperate and dominating. I reach for his jeans when his hands grab my arm. "Nuh uh, baby." He makes me stand and spins me around. "I need to be inside you."
"But, ah!" I moan as his palm makes contact with my right ass cheek as he bends me over.
He wastes no time and removes my black panties from under my skirt. "Damn. You're perfect." I hear something ripping which I think was a condom wrapper.
And then, in one swift motion, he snaps his hips into me. My eyes roll back in my head as I groan at his girth, feeling the stretch. "Fuck," I groan. I've imagined this moment in my delusional mind but this was beyond my dreams. "How are you this big?"
"Fuck, you're so tight," he moans as he pulls out completely before snapping his hips against me. "This cunt was made for me, fuck you feel so good."
"Chan."
He gradually picks up speed as his hand travel around my waist towards my throbbing clit. The only sound you could hear was our heavy breathing, into the darkness surrounding us. I felt the tight knot in my lower belly ready to burst. "Chan, please."
"Fuck, yes!" He grunts, now slamming into me. "You're close, aren't you? You gonna cum? You gonna cum for me?"
I nod my head. "Yes!"
His fingers rubs my clit and I see stars in front of my eyes as my climax hits me the hardest, my legs shaking but he doesn't stop. "Oh, fuck. Fuck, you're gonna make me cum. I'm gonna cum." His hips ram into me a few more times before he stills, spilling his seed into the rubber.
We stay like that for a few minutes, catching our breaths. He finally pulls out and I groan at the odd feeling. I try to move but my legs refused to budge. "Uhm."
I hear him zipping up his jeans. "You okay?"
"I can't move."
"What?"
"My legs."
He softly chuckles as he walks over and grabs both my arms, lifting me up. I shriek. "Put me down!"
"Hold still!"
He turns me around and puts me on the bike with my legs hanging over. Placing his hands on the lower part of my legs, he gently starts massging them. "Good?"
"Hmm," I savour the feeling coming back to my legs. "You should've started with this first."
"Oh, really?"
The nerve of this guy, showing me his dimples. "I'm a sucker for massages."
"Noted," he says as he comes up, face to face. "Say, what are you doing next weekend?"
"Why, you wanna take me a on a date?"
"Yeah. Is that a problem?"
"Well, considering how this date went, I might agree to it."
"Brat," he pecks my lips before he picks up the helmets and hands me mine. "You're more than welcome to feel me up again once we're on the road."
My cheeks heat, my blush making its permanent stay on my entire face. "Wha....I wasn't feeling you up!"
"Uh huh," he says wearing his helmet and grins turning his head towards me. "And I didn't give you the best sex of your life just now."
I narrow my eyes at him as I hop off to let him sit first. As he turns on the ignition, I climb on behind him. He grabs my hands and places them around his waist. And the we were off, into the same darkness that surrounded us mere minutes ago.
Who knew I would be startstruck by the guy I watched on my laptop and phone was interested in me? And the biker dude? Oh man. If only the world knew what we just did.....

Sunshine & The Beast
You're all bubbles and sunshine as you walk into the Pleasure House several minutes late for your appointment. Madame Blanc scowls and flaps her hand urgently. You're so late that she doesn't have time to scold you.
"Room 6!" The vampiress hisses.
You nod and make your way to the room. You take a deep breath so you can look as professional as a cucumber on ice. Cool and unaffected.
"Hi! I'm your adventurer for today!" You say cheerfully as you push open the door and step in, letting it click shut behind you.
The monster sitting on one of the couches in the seating area blinks.
"What?"
"You know, because with monsters you never know what you're working with so it's always an adventure..." You trail off when you realize he's not getting it.
"I'm technically supposed to say "I'm your caretaker for the day" but I think that sounds lame," you admit.
He snorts and stands up.
"Coming here was a mistake," he says.
"Whoa, whoa! Slow down, Fluffy."
He shoots you a glare. "Who are you calling fluffy?" He demands.
"I'm sorry. Your fur just looks so soft and poofy. It's got to take you an eternity to brush out," you say.
He blinks again, like everything you say surprises him. He narrows his eyes, probably wondering if this is a prank.
"Geez, I started off on the wrong foot," you sigh. "I'm sorry. Again."
"Why are you dressed like that?"
"Um?" You glance down at the shirt you're wearing.
It's got a very artistic-looking cupcake painted on it. Your niece made it in one of her after-school classes, and you treasure it more than any other piece of clothing you own.
"I was running late, as I'm sure you've noticed. My cat gave birth early this morning! It was magical."
He raises a shaggy eyebrow and glances at the door.
"Wait!" You yelp. "Don't go. I, um, really need to get paid today."
"When my friend booked me an appointment this wasn't what I expected. Shouldn't you be on your knees sucking my dick right about now?" He says, crossing his arms.
"Uh, yes. I'm just off my stride this morning. I had way too much coffee trying to stay awake in the wee hours of the morning. It was worth it though!"
"Are you on drugs?" He demands.
Your cheeks warm. "Dang it, am I that buzzed?"
He steps closer and grabs your arm to hold you in place. Then he leans down and sniffs the pulse point in your neck.
"You're clean," he announces, pulling away. "It's just coffee."
"Like I said," you say sheepishly. "Take a seat."
"I'm not sure whether I should trust myself with you. I think you're shady," he replies seriously, and you burst out laughing.
"You look like you could snap me in half," you smirk. "I don't know what you're worried about."
"You're too cheerful."
"Since when was that a crime?" You huff.
"This is exactly how an enemy of mine would act to get my guard down-"
"Ugh, sit, will you? Relax." You push him gently.
He sits down reluctantly, gripping the armrest of the couch so tightly that you hear the wood creak.
You put your hands on his shoulders first, to make sure he's okay with your touch. Still stiff, but he doesn't pull away. He's covered in fur from head to toe, something vaguely human with huge shoulders and a broad chest. You reach up to touch his horns gently. They're small and curl backward, barely noticeable in his thick mane.
"You look cursed," you tell him.
"I'd be offended if you were wrong, but yes. It's a generational curse," he replies, looking up at you.
"I've been with a lot of monsters, I'm becoming a pro at recognizing the different types," you say with a grin. "Would it put you off if I kiss you?"
His eyes roll slightly. "Good luck. With my tusks, it's practically impossible-"
You cut his rambling off with a kiss. You have to lean forward to do that, because of the way he's positioned on the couch. To spare your neck from the awkward angle, you make the executive decision to straddle his lap. His hands automatically come up to your hips, his blunt claws digging in slightly.
When you pull away, he's starry-eyed and dazed.
"How did you do that?" He demands.
"Where there's a will, there's a way!" You say cheerfully.
You move slightly and feel his arousal underneath you and give him a wide-eyed look.
"Dude. That was like, a ten-second kiss."
"It's not like I have an eager host of lovers lining up to get into my bed," he grumbles, looking away.
"If you fix up your attitude, I'm sure there will be."
"I don't have an attitude!" He snaps.
"Okay, Mr. Sunshine," you laugh.
"Shut up," he grumbles before leaning in to kiss you this time.
He's very careful because of his tusks. Despite his misgivings, there's plenty of room to kiss him. His lips are juicier than yours, which is something you'll be jealous about later, but right now they're yours to nip at.
Your greedy hands press against his chest, squeezing handfuls of his pecs. Pretty handy that he does not need shirts. His nipples are right there, covered by soft whorls of fur. He grunts when you pinch them gently.
"Maybe I was hasty," he pants, tipping his head back. "About wanting to leave earlier."
"Really now? I've only just started with you," you tease, reaching down to cup him through his pants.
"What's that?" You say with wicked delight. "You've got two... Oh, I'm getting a treat today!"
He doesn't say anything but the heated stare he gives you tells you that he appreciates your excitement.
You shimmy out of his lap and drop onto your knees on the soft carpet, squeezing his thigh.
"Let's see what I have to work with," you grin heatedly, undoing his belt and making quick work of his zipper.
You're so impatient that it takes a few good tugs to get his pants to slip off his haunches and hindfeet. For a second you wonder if he has toe beans like a cat, but you decide not to risk ruining the moment by asking.
"I don't normally say this, but Dear Lord! Whatever witch cursed you certainly gave you a blessing here," you say.
"I don't think so. They're too fucking big and it's hard to find underwear that fits," he says flatly.
"Learn to take a compliment," you advise him. "Can I touch you?"
He blows out a breath. "Please."
You need both hands, one for each cock. They look pretty much human but on steroids. You're awed because this isn't a usual occurrence, not even in a Pleasure House like this one.
Your mouth is pretty much watering at the sight. You lean forward and take one into your mouth, your lips hugging the tip. He hisses and arches his back like he's in pain.
"Oops, did I catch you with my teeth?" You say innocently, blowing a puff of air over the saliva-slick tip.
"No. Sensitive," he hisses again. "Don't do that, fuck."
"Is that too much for you to handle? Poor thing. I had so much planned," you say in mock disappointment.
You don't give him a warning the next time you engulf his cock with your mouth and you have the pleasure of hearing him whimper. Your lips curl into a smirk at that soft, vulnerable sound. You like hearing big, scary monsters make sounds like that.
So you endeavor to force more out of him, switching between both of his cocks to drive him crazy, using your hands and mouth to massage as much of him as you can, teasing the sensitive underside with the tip of your tongue.
He squirms and growls so loud that the chair vibrates. He seems a little touched-starved too, melting when your hands squeeze his thighs. His hips shift subtly as he struggles to hold himself back. It's probably for the best because lust-hazed monsters have a hard time controlling themselves and that would wreak havoc on your throat and jaw. You're struggling enough as it is already.
His eyes, which have been closed, shoot open suddenly. His pupils are small, his expression a little crazed.
"I want to taste you," he demands. "Get on the bed?"
"What?" You say breathlessly.
Usually, your customer is the only one getting taken care of. While your job turns you on, it's against protocol to pleasure yourself unless it's the customer's request.
And except for a vampire customer who liked to feed from your thigh (which was almost as good as an orgasm), no one else has ever offered.
"Are you sure? This is all about you."
"Trade places with me. I'm not asking you again," he growls.
"Okay, okay!" You laugh breathlessly but damn if that didn't make you twice as wet.
You scramble onto the bed, your weight dimpling the soft mattress.
"How do you want me?" You pant.
"On your back. I want to see your face," he says, dipping the mattress even further as he gets on.
You raise your hips for him and he drags your shorts and underwear down in one fell swoop. You remove your shirt and toss it onto the sidetable. He pushes your legs open and you prop yourself up on your elbows so you can watch him.
The first stroke of his tongue is heavenly agony. You stifle a squeal, your hand coming down to tug at his mane.
"Just like that," you encourage.
He's an apt learner, and when he figures out exactly how you like it, he doesn't let up.
"Wait, wait," you beg as the momentum becomes too much. "I think I'm gonna pass out."
"I don't think so. You didn't stop when I asked you," he says triumphantly, the pad of his thumb rolling over your clit. "I want you to come undone."
"I'm supposed to be giving, not taking," you argue.
"Who says you're taking anything? I like the taste of you on my tongue."
"But-"
"Shut up," he says pleasantly, his voice muffled as he presses his mouth against you again.
You bit your lip and clutch the pillow. It's actually been a while since someone other than yourself made you come. Just as you're about to tip into a whirlwind of pleasure, he stops. You almost kick him in the face before you remember yourself.
"What the hell?" You say, about to sit up. "Why did you stop-"
He pushes you down with his body weight. "I'd use my fingers but there's no way around my claws," he says huskily. "I changed my mind. I want you to come undone while I'm inside you. I want to feel it."
You let out a hard breath. "Okay. But hurry. I almost attacked you, dude. Not cool."
He snorts out a laugh. "Your weirdness might grow on me," he says. "Which one do you want?"
Oh...
"The lower one," you say. "I think it's smaller."
Jokes on you, because as soon as he begins to press against your hole, you realize maybe you underestimated his size.
"Fuck," you whisper.
He pauses, his arms bracketed around your head, his face so close to yours. "Does it hurt?"
You shake your head and pull him closer so he doesn't see you grimace as he slides in another inch. It doesn't hurt, but it does stretch you quite a bit. But you're yet to lose a single devil's tango, so you power through.
"Damn," you murmur when he stops abruptly. "Where do you end and where do I begin?"
"Who cares," is his response as he pulls out slowly.
The next time he thrusts in, it's a little easier. He buries his face against your neck, breathing in your scent. Soon you forget all about the stretch. What you want is more. Suddenly you have a craving to get fucked so hard that you feel it tomorrow. You reach down to take his first cock in your hand, circling it so that each time he thrusts into you, it slides through your fingers.
It's a little amusing to think you're jacking him off while he's fucking you. You angle his cock so that it slides through your folds and bumps against your clit just so. Your body's response is to clamp down on him, and he hisses, his thrusts speeding up.
You're so wet and he's so hard and you fit together so perfectly. He hits all the right spots that have you melting in his arms until you're as boneless as a ragdoll. He takes over, holding you in place with your legs pressed up so he can slide in even deeper.
Good lord, your back is going to ache tomorrow, but you don't care. You're moaning shamelessly now, aware of nothing but his weight on top of you, how full you are, and the way his cocks throb inside and against you.
"I think I'm going to come," you whimper, gripping his mane and tugging at it.
"Go on," he huffs, his hips accentuating his command, pushing you closer and closer to the edge. "I'm right behind you. Can I come inside you?"
"Please, oh yes please!" You exclaim. "Don't you dare pull out."
His eyes brighten, even as his lip curls rather scarily. You bite down hard on your lip as you come, struggling to contain yourself. Your orgasm is so forceful that your entire body jerks even though you're pinned under his weight. He shoves his cock as far as it can go, growling so loud that you feel it rattle through your body.
His first cock spurts molten heat on your belly, and it drips down the side, soaking the sheets. You love the way his hips jerk with the aftershocks and pull him close so you can feel everything, even the way his heart thumps in his chest.
"I almost didn't stop myself from biting you," he says, swiping his thumb over the flesh between your shoulder and neck, the prime biting spot.
"I take shots to prevent any unwanted consequences, we all do," you tell him. "You can bite me next time."
His eyes crinkle in amusement. "Next time," he says, and it sounds like a promise.

The Strange Encounter
Paring: Embry Call x Reader!
Here is the link to part 2.
This is my first time writing a fan fic. If you guys like it let me know! I'm going to post part 2 very soon! Hope you enjoy :)
No warnings
Summary: You recently moved back to Forks after not being in the town since you were eight. When your old friend Jacob Black asks you to come to a party down at La Push you accept. What's the worst that could happen?
Tumblr media
It was a calm and cool fall day in Forks. You are helping your mom at the bookstore she owns. As you stock the shelves you look out the window and see a group of guys around your age walking. You recognize one of the faces "Oh my god, Mom is that Jacob Black?" you ask in shock. Your Mom comes over to you with a confused look on her face "Oh wow, yes it is honey" Your mom pauses for a moment and smiles "Well hasn't he grown" You look at her, she has a smug smile on her face "I almost didn't recognize him, he chopped all his hair off" you point out. "why don't you go out and say hello" your mom says with a grin. "I haven't seen him since I was 8 mom, he probably doesn't even recognize me, and take that smile off your face he definitely is not my type," you say as you both laugh, your mom walks away as you continue to stare out the window for a moment noticing a cute boy standing next to Jacob. You used to live in Forks when you were young and just recently moved back but you didn't have many friends besides Jacob, so you still consider yourself the new girl in town.
As you finish cleaning up the store you look down at your watch 6:00pm. "Oh shit, I gotta get going," you say to yourself. You grab your bag and your keys and lock up the store. From the distance you can hear a group of people laughing and talking loudly, you look up and see Jacob and his friends walking down the street coming towards you. You turn and start walking to your car not wanting to run into them, you aren't sure if Jacob remembers you and you can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing yet. As you are walking you hear your name being called 'Y/N?" you hear from behind you "shit" you think to yourself. You slowly turn around and see Jacob running up to you he has a big smile on his face and his thoughts are confirmed when you turn around "I knew it! I saw your mom coming out of the bookstore earlier and recognized her immediately, when did you get back in town?" he says with the smile still on his face you can see his friends in the distance talking amongst themselves, "Jacob, wow so good to see you" you say with an awkward smile "We moved back about a week ago, I figured your dad would have told you I'm pretty sure my dad and yours caught up a few days ago" you say with a bit of confusion "Yeah my dad and I haven't been talking much recently" Jacob says making the mood shift " Anyways your mom opened up a bookstore, that's so cool" He says obviously trying to change the topic "Yeah its always been a dream of hers so it's pretty nice we finally get to do it" you say smiling "Thats great, I'm really glad your back in town, hey my friends and I are planning on going down to La Push to have a bonfire, do you want to come? Maybe we can catch up?" he says looking at you eagerly. you hesitate for a moment thinking it over "Uh, yeah sure that sounds like fun" you say with a small smile "Great, come at any time we're heading out there in an hour" He says excitedly "Okay, I'll see you there" you say turning around and getting in your car not noticing the eyes on you as you drove away.
You're in your room getting ready, it's a chilly night so you throw on some jeans and a long-sleeved shirt with a zip-up jacket. After you finish getting ready you grab your keys and hop in your car. When you arrive at La Push you see the big fire in the sand and tons of people surrounding it. "Woah, I didn't think it would be that many people" you mumble to yourself, regretting saying yes. You get out of your car and see Jacob approaching "Hey! Glad you could make it, follow me" he says and you start walking together. He introduces you to a few people and you start talking with a guy named Quil, as you guys are talking another guy comes up to you. You realize it is the guy you saw earlier, as you make eye contact his face goes from smiling to completely awestruck. You stand there confused as he just stares at you for a moment before excusing himself and basically speed-walking to the house away from everyone. You turn and look at Quil confused "What's his problem" you ask genuinely Quil looks at you and tells you he will be right back before turning and walking to the house. You look around and lock eyes with Jacob, he walks over "What happened?" he asks me confused "I don't know, Quil and I were talking and then one of your friends walked up not even saying anything, and then ran to the house" a look of understanding crosses Jacobs face " I will be right back I promise" it seems like hours but it's more like a few minutes of sitting on one of the rocks watching the fire burn as everyone else is drinking and having a good time. You were about to stand and leave when Jacob came up to you "Hey, I'm sorry about that. He's just a little drunk don't worry about it. Everything is all good" Jacob says but you can tell something is off. Jacob still has the same lying face as he did when you were eight so you aren't easily convinced but decide to let it go. You and Jacob sit in awkward silence for a while until Quil comes back. "Hey, what are you guys talking about" Quil says in a much too cheery mood considering what just happened, "Nothing much, we're just enjoying the scenery" Jacob responds obviously trying to make it seem as though this isn't the weirdest interaction in the world. Out of the corner of your eye, you see someone walking up to you and turn your head, it is the same guy. "Hey guys" the man speaks to Jacob and Quil seeming perfectly fine now, with not even a hint of awkwardness, again acting like nothing happened. Suddenly, he turned to face you "I'm sorry about earlier, I don't know what got into me," he said a bit shy " I'm Embry, what's your name?" there was a spark in his eye as he spoke to you, like he already knew the answer, like he knew everything about you, like it was his life mission just to speak to you. "Don't worry about it, it happens," you say politely "My name is Y/N" his eyes perk up a bit at that. You don't know who he is and why he's acting so strangely but damn is he hot. Without your knowledge, Quil and Jacob left as you and Embry were talking. Now you were stuck, not that you minded having to talk to Embry, but something about him seemed off. "So I heard you just moved back here from (insert city/state name)?" Embry questioned "Yeah, My mom got her own bookstore and my dad got a new job that allows him to work from home so we decided to come back," you say as both of you start walking to a more secluded area of the beach "Are you happy to be back?" he says with a bit of hesitation, he's not trying to push any boundaries, it seems like he genuinely wants to get to know you "Yeah I'm pretty happy about it, I've always loved cold and rainy weather," you say making Embry laugh a bit "What?" you say looking at him with suspicion but a hint of amusement on your face "Nothing, nothing it's just not every day you hear someone actually enjoying that type of weather, it's my favorite too" he says blushing a bit as we come to a stop near the ocean. We've walked pretty far and we can only see the smoke from the fire rising above the rocks. "Y/N I need to tell you something," Embry says nervously.

wake nd bake with keigo. set in the same world as this post.
warnings: weed, smut
Tumblr media
You are the first to wake up before your boyfriend, your consciousness rousing from your dream and bringing you back to reality. Your body is still sleepy, it’s so cozy in the bedsheets, and Keigo is still softly snoring. Sun filters through the curtains of the room, the color orange dashing away the blue hour as it begins to rise. It’s barely 6:30 and you’re excited to have breakfast.
“Baby, good morning!” You snuggle up to your boyfriend and press a kiss to his cheek. He rouses a little and you repeat your greeting, “ I said good morning!”
He wakes with a quiet laugh that’s followed by a yawn. He stretches his arms and legs in bed, a satisfied groan echoing into the air before he relaxes and finally returns your greeting, “Good morning, lovebird. How’d you sleep?”
“I slept good. I had a dream last night.” You tell him, wanting to speak of it now before all the details escaped your mind and you’d never recall it again. Keigo listens quietly, humming occasionally to show he’s paying attention. As you speak, the two of you start to get up to make the bed together. It’s a collaborative effort to smooth down the blankets, fold the extra throw blankets, and also fluff up the pillows.
The bed is neat by the time you finish talking about your dream.
The first thing that you do in the morning is to reach for a joint that he rolled last night. It’s wrapped with your favorite paper that tastes like strawberries. There’s a small tin of lighters that you and him just accumulate by accident, grabbing a black one that’s etched with his friend’s name onto the cheap design of it. That friend had learned to stop lending out lighters to you at this point since you’d forget to return them.
You get the first hit, you always do, excited to feel the weed hit your body and make the morning day a little slower. You carefully lift yourself to sit onto the kitchen countertop, not even having bothered to put on any pants and still in your panties. One thing about your home is that you and Keigo are probably a little too free, walking around naked pretty frequently if not at least really under dressed.
All that stands between Keigo being completely naked is just his underwear and house slippers.
“Kettle is coming on babe, what tea do you want this morning?” Keigo asks as he flips the switch of the electric kettle and then moves to bring out a matching mug set from the cupboards.
“Earl grey. I think there’s still some scones in the freezer. Pop them in the little oven.” You answer after blowing smoke between your lips. The joint is passed to your boyfriend, he holds it between his lips, the cherry burning as he as his turn. The scones from the freezer are being warmed in the oven, the kettle is starting to boil, and you notice the ash that needs that’s ready to fall off from the joint. “Mm, baby be careful. Here, the ash tray.”
A little heart shaped dish is presented to him and he taps off the excess ash into the dish. When you set aside the dish, you take back the joint and take in a deep hit. You want your head to be high up in the clouds this morning, you want to feel so lazy and relaxed, put on some cartoons and then do absolutely nothing.
“God, you are pretty in this light. You know that, right?” Keigo awes over you, his own high reflecting in his eyes as he smooths his hands up your thighs. “My pretty girl looks so good and I think she knows it.”
He’s answered with an agreeable hum for you. His eyes watch as you hold the joint to your lips, taking in a breath but holding the smoke in. Understanding immediately, he leans forward for his lips to hover close to your mouth, his cock twitches as he shotguns from you. “You’re making me wanna fuck you this morning.” Keigo speaks as he breathes out he sucked from your lips.
“So why don’t you?”
The joint is more than halfway through when you stub it out in the little heart tray. Your legs spread open, giving him a cheeky smile as your eyes flick down for him to take the invitation. Come fuck me this morning.
Your boyfriend is not one to turn you down.
He stands as close to you as possible, hands on your hips to scoot you closer to the edge of the countertop and he kisses you, humming when he feels your legs wind around his waist. Your feet cross loosely by the ankles but you hold him tightly from above the waist, your arms looping around his neck in a hug. The air starts to smell like the scones that are warming in the convention oven that mixes in with the smell of weed.
“Wake and bake and fuck, huh?” Keigo chuckles as he pulls back a little to pull his cock out from his boxer briefs, “Wish I could do this every day.”
“Maybe if you had a work from home job,” You half joke to him, “just be home and be high on your computer while getting paid. What a dream.”
Keigo gives you a little hum, helping to take your night shirt off and immediately goes to suck one of your nipples into his mouth after he throws your shirt to the ground. Your head falls back and you arch your back, pushing your chest forward and moaning softly as he flicks his tongue. Your hips grind a little in want, your mind is fuzzy, and you love Keigo.
“Can I eat your pussy, lovebird? Or you want me to fuck you right now?” Keigo asks, pulling away from sucking at your tits, looking ready to obey any command you give him.
“You can eat me out.”
You almost laugh at how eager he was to drop to his knees, showing a lot of enthusiasm as he helps your panties off and puts his mouth to your cunt. You prop yourself with one elbow back to support you and the other threads through his hair. When you peer down at him, you see that he’s actually looking up at you with a dazed look in his eye. Whether it’s from being high from the weed or drunk from your pussy, you can’t be quite sure, but you adore how he looks.
“Fuck me with your tongue, yeah?” you’re a little breathless and you meant to sound more commanding but Keigo has overwhelming talent with that mouth of his. Soft mewls and breathy moans fill the sounds of the kitchen along with the lewd licking from your boyfriend at your pussy. You gasp when he spits onto your cunt and jams his tongue into your hole, wiggling it inside you and he groans when he tastes your cum.
If Keigo could have his way, he’d eat you out until you squirted for him. He wants his face buried in your pussy until you’re crying from being too sensitive. All he wants is to see you go cross eyed and stupid from how good he eats your cunt. His heart thrums in his rib cage over how much he wants you but his cock is so hard that he doesn’t think he can wait any longer to fuck you either.
So he’ll make you cum for him one more time with his mouth before he gives you his dick.
“K-Kei, shit shit shit! I love it!” you praise his talent as he gets sloppy for you, not holding back his own filthy noises as he gets messy. He shakes his head after he shoved his tongue into your pussy, your slick and his spit dribbles down his chin, and he almost cums when he tastes your orgasm on his tongue again.
You whimper his name, your legs slightly shaking, and feeling a little cold when Keigo pulls away. He standing up to his feet, already having pushed his underwear off and let it look at his feet. He licks his lips, still glossy from your ecstasy and his chest is flushed. It’s an easy tell that he’s all flustered when his chest or ears get a little rosy.
Keigo pulls you off the kitchen countertop to bend you over, rutting his hips against the curve of your ass. “Beg for my dick, wanna hear that you want me.” He mutters into your ear before licking a small stripe along the shell of it. It’s a small weakness that he discovered about you that he likes to tease you with.
His cock is right there, hard and curved against your ass teasing you. You beg him with pretty whimpers and soft pleas, telling him how badly you need his cock in you. It’s so gorgeous when you’re weak like this for him and you know the reward for it will be beautiful.
Your hands brace onto the countertop, pushing your ass back and looking over your shoulder. “Please baby? Need you really bad, want you to cum in me and fill up my pussy.” You try to entice him to you, reaching one hand back to hold you open for him.
It does the trick.
His hands grip you at your hips and he jolts forward into your cunt, making you yelp and your mouth drop open in surprise. Then Keigo fucks fast into you, rougher than you’d expected for someone who’s supposed to be high.
Then again, your high was broken when you had cum on his tongue the first time so the fuzziness must have left him too.
The sound of skin smacking together and your noises fill the kitchen space. Huffing breaths from Keigo as he drags you back onto his cock, pressing himself balls deep and touches that spongy part inside you that has you throwing your head back and your hands curl into fists. “O-oh god…!”
He says pretty words to you, words that make your heart swell with affection and make you feel all sentimental and gooey. It’s so disgustingly sweet, sweet like the smell of the scones in the air-
Ding!
Keigo pauses his hips, looking back at the little convention oven that had finished warming the scones. You can’t help but laugh a little at the small interruption but at least you know that your treats are ready.
“Let’s finish up, and then we can have our tea and scones.”
You hum in agreement, assuming position on bending over for him again over the countertop and arching your back, having to stand on your tiptoes to keep the position. One hand at your hip and the other grasps your shoulder, you know what it means.
He’s about to fuck hard and fast.
Keigo fucks you to the point that you have no thoughts in your head. The hand on your shoulder keeps you firmly pressed in the position and when you lose your form, he smacks you hard on your ass to remind you to correct yourself. When you feel his nails dig into your skin, you know that he’s about to cum.
“Cum in me, please!” you sob out as you cum on his cock, eager at the thought of being filled by your boyfriend and spiraling you into another orgasm, “Oh fuck, please cum in me! Please-“
You’re not prepared for when he suddenly pulls out, turns you around to give you a smothering kiss that leaves you dizzy. Faster than you can react, he puts you to the floor and on your knees. A tight fist grabs onto your head and you’re made to look up at him.
He cums all over your face instead.
Keigo jerks his cock quickly in his hand, groaning lowly and then tapping the tip of his cock against your lips. Cum is smeared against your lips before you open your mouth to flick your tongue over his tip.
“What the fuck? I said cum in me!” You complain, “Keigo!”
“I’m sorry! I wanted to but-“ Keigo tries to explain as he grabs a kitchen towel from the countertop to wipe your face.
“But what?”
“I wanted a longer fuck later today so I came on your face instead. I came too fast this time.”
Okay fine, that’s a good reason for you but you were really wanting him to cum in your pussy right then and there. You wait patiently as Keigo cleans you up but you know that you’ll have to do a proper cleaning in the bathroom. His hands are held out for you to help you stand up.
“Mad at me?” Keigo pretends to play cute, jutting his bottom lip in a pout and giving you doe eyes. Similar to what you do when you’re trying to get something you want. So you roll your eyes at him before looping your arms around his neck and giving him a kiss, “I’ll cum in you later, promise.”
After you wash up your face and put your clothes back on, you and your boyfriend reignite the joint and smoke first again to bring back the high. The little dining table you have that only has room for the two of you has the scones set up on a plate along with the mugs already steeped with the earl grey tea. There’s even a plate of strawberries and mango set up as well.
“God, these scones taste even better. Don’t you think?” Keigo comments before taking a sip of his tea.
“You’re just high,” you giggle, “and we should put on cartoons and make out.”
“Later dove, I got cotton mouth right now.”
“Again with this later shit? I’ll cum in you later? I’ll make out with you later? You are not being a good boyfriend right now.” You pretend to be exasperated but really you agree. “You and your excuses.”
Keigo makes it up to you by refilling your tea cup and toasting a bagel for you. Then he makes it up to you again getting your favorite takeout delivered. And he makes it up a third and final time by finally cumming in your pussy after making you beg for him.
By night time, you and Keigo are sober and happy and fucked out and ready to just hit the hay. Sometimes you wish that these blissful, do nothing days could last a little longer. Sometimes there are moments that you only want to exist to be high and to be fucked by your boyfriend and nothing more. Lazy days with hazy minds and goofy smiles while you ride on top of him is a paradise.
The next lazy day the two of you have, Keigo is the one to greet you bright and early. “Good morning dove!”
“Mornin’…” you yawn into your pillow before setting your eyes on him.
“Wake and bake and fuck?”
You smile at him, as if you weren’t going to answer anything but yes.

Ooh how abut number '11. toothpaste kisses' for soft prompts! Love your writing
Send me soft prompts! Ao3 collection post here!
Eddie is going to make everyone late.
Look: he really thinks most of it isn't his fault. He'd covered for somebody on B shift Tuesday, so he'd only had 24 hours off and he'd had to sleep through a good chunk of it, so laundry went a little by the wayside, leading to him tossing a frantic load into the washer at 5 am when he realized he had no clean work clothes. And, again, he’d covered that Tuesday shift after a 12 hour on Monday, so it’s reasonable that he forgot how dire the toothpaste situation was. The look Chris had given him when he said they needed to run to the store right now at bright and early 6 am would have withered a lesser soul, so at 6:04 Eddie, still in sweatpants and wearing ratty old slides is running down the block solo to grab whatever they have at the nearest corner store. He winces as he grabs the baking soda kind (Chris hates it) and books it back to the house, trying to breathe through the waves of oh god I’m a terrible father who left my kid alone and forgot about dental hygiene.
The house is considerably more crowded when he gets back to it. First, Chimney is lugging a dresser up the front stairs.
“What- hey- what-“ Eddie grabs the bottom of the thing, hastily shoving the toothpaste in his pocket. “What’s this?”
Chim tilts his head at him. “We were getting rid of it and you said you could use a new dresser, remember? I texted you I was coming to drop it off.”
Eddie’s phone is probably dinging away uselessly on his bedside table. “Right, yeah, sorry. There was a toothpaste emergency. Uh, thank you, we can just-“
Before he can come up with some way to finish that sentence, Carla opens the door. He hadn’t even seen her car, shit, he hopes there’s no calls right away when they get to work because he’s clearly not slept enough and should lay down again as soon as possible.
“Oh!” She says, surprised and cheerful. “Why don’t you bring that into the living room. I put your clothes in the dryer, Eddie, I figured if you were running the wash this early it was an emergency.”
Well thank god somebody has a plan and knows whats happening. He and Chim set the dresser next to a wall someplace as out of the way as they can get, and then Eddie points at Carla. “Thank you,” he says, trying to put as much sincerity into the words as possible, before pivoting to head down the hall to find Chris. Its not a long journey, the kid standing right around the corner. Eddie hands him the toothpaste. “There you go.”
Chris scrunches his nose. “Baking soda kind. Gross. And I don’t need it, Dad, Buck brought the good stuff.”
“Buck?”
“Hey.”
Eddie pivots again to look in the kitchen, where the man himself is leaning against the counter drinking a cup of coffee out of his current favorite mug, the one with the squiggly little drawing of a frog and a chicken dancing together. “Hi.” Eddie supposes he isn’t exactly surprised he’s here, Buck is a feature of their household as much as the mug he’s holding is, but he is a little concerned about the amount of people popping out of the woodwork without him noticing. “Anybody else here? Why’d you bring toothpaste?”
Buck grins. “I think you’ve seen everybody now. And you were running out when I was here last, you’ve been busy, figured it might be helpful.”
Eddie nods, a little… wordless, maybe, a little bowled over. “I’m gonna…” he gestures towards the bathroom and limply leaves the conversation. By the time he’s brushed his teeth (it is the good stuff, the pricier name brand arctic fresh, Eddie usually goes for generic spearmint) Chris and Carla are ready to head out the door. Eddie is glancing at the clock and nervously calculating exactly how wet the clothes he’s about to put on are going to be as he says goodbye, leaning to kiss Carla, Chris, and Chim’s cheeks. “Ok, thank you, have a great day at school, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
It takes a few seconds of staring at Chimney’s trying not to laugh face, and listening to Chris’s not-trying-not-to-laugh-at-all guffaws before his brain catches up to his actions. “Oh my god.”
Chimney grins and Eddie shakes his head futilely against the oncoming barrage. "I always knew I was your favorite." He smacks a hand to his cheek and swoons, and Eddie rolls his eyes. "Everyone said it was Buck, but I knew the Han-Diaz love connection was just waiting to happen."
Buck is laughing somewhere behind him, and Eddie wants to see what look is on his face, but instead he rolls his eyes again, harder, and says "I'm going to check on the laundry," and shoos his son out the door before fleeing to the dryer.
Of course it's all still fucking damp. They're already pushing it on time though (maybe if all three of them are late they can unionize against Bobby?) so he shucks his sweats and shimmies his way into the unpleasant cool of his pants. When he emerges from his shirt, wincing, he finds Buck in the hallway with him.
“Chimney says we’re running late and if you don’t hurry up he’s leaving you for dead, no matter your new found love.”
“I know, I know, I just need to find my shoes-“
“I put ‘em by the door,” Buck smiles, and then the smile becomes a grin. “Hey, Eddie.”
“Yeah?” Eddie says with the right amount of apprehension for the situation.
“No goodbye kiss for me?” He tilts his head, grin thoroughly classifiable as shit-eating.
“We’re going to the same place, Buck. I’m probably gonna ride in your car.” He’s absolutely going to ride in his car, they both know it.
“Ah, so is Chimney, he got one.”
And Eddie could defend himself with the reasonable explanation that he just happened to be standing in a row next to the people he’d meant to press his affection onto, or the less reasonable explanation that he only gives goodbye kisses to people whose names start with a C, but instead he says “You want a kiss, Buck?”
And he’s moving before he loses nerve, and Buck is also moving, laughing at him, so again Eddie feels like it’s not entirely his fault when his kiss lands sort of on his cheek but mostly- it’s mostly on his mouth, which is soft and exhaling a little surprised sound against Eddie. They both pull back but maybe not as far as they probably should, if they weren’t them, if Eddie hadn’t spent the last few weeks or maybe years wondering how he could ask Buck to live on the shelf with all the mugs he’s cycled through as favorites. Then Buck darts his head forward, pecking another little kiss to his mouth, and Eddie chases him for a third, and Buck’s hand tangles in his shirt and he says “Oh” into Eddie’s mouth because the fabric is wet under his touch.
“Buckley, Diaz, I’m getting in my car, and I’m not going to defend you to Cap!”
Even at Chimney’s words they don’t entirely jump apart, just slide back a little, stand more firmly facing each other as the front door distantly opens and shuts.
“We’re gonna be late,” Buck says, an awed little smile pulling at his face.
“Yeah,” Eddie says, a little breathless. Maybe he can blame that on the cold clothes. “We should probably get going.”
Buck nods, and barely finishes the motion before Eddie puts his hands on his face and pulls him in for another minty kiss, firm, a promise. Buck is grinning when he backs off and Eddie is sure his face is a mirror image as he ducks around him to go find his shoes.
They’re late. But as Buck settles next to him on the couch, all pressed along his side despite the still damp clothes, Eddie thinks it was worth the wait.

I’ll die with you (part 3)
(Tara Carpenter x fem! reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Your rest was short, another attack soon occurs, deadlier than the first one. Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3 || Part 4 || Part 5 || Part 6 || Part 7 Warnings: blood, death of character, angst (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)
“I swear I’m gonna need to bleach my eyes” you heard Sam say when you went downstairs with Tara, half an hour later
“Come on, we were fully clothed, you didn’t see anything” Tara rolled her eyes and sit at the table
“That’s not the point! Since when are you even doing that? You’re too young to-”
"I mean they're adults so..." Gale started
"Would you mind stop talking about our sex life?" you groaned, cheeks still red
"What do you want us to talk about?"
"I don't know, the weather, whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza..."
"Well that's an easy question" Sam declared, taking a slice of pizza and giving one to everyone
"I suppose we all agree they don't" you girlfriend said
"We do, indeed" Gale confirmed while you nodded
"Uh, no we don't"
A debate started, Sam against the three of you. It almost looked like a normal family dinner, a normal night. You nearly forgot you were the next target of a psycho killer. Until you all jumped when your phone rang.
Probably: Damian Walker.
You never realized you never gave him your phone number. Mindy or Chad probably did.
"It's okay, it's Damian"
"Y/n-" Tara tried to interrupt
But you already took your phone and walked away from the table, picking up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, how are you feeling tonight?"
"Tired and embarrassed, but other than that, pretty good"
"What...?"
"It's a long story" you sighed "Why do you call?"
"Oh, I wanted to know if you were having fun..." the slight sound of an electronic device could be heard "while I was gutting your friends like fishes."
All color vanished from your face.
"W-what...?"
Tara stood up hearing your shaking voice, worried. Whoever called you, they hang up without answering.
"Hello?! Please don't hurt them!" you cried
"Baby wha-"
"He's gonna kill Mindy and Chad we have to go!"
“No no no. We go, you stay here”
“And get attacked again? No thank you” you protested, dialing 911
When you arrived at Mindy and Chad’s not even five minutes later, the door was slightly opened. You could hear fight noises coming from inside. There was still a chance to save them.
You opened the door and rushed inside, baseball bat in hand. The first thing you saw was Ghostface, standing over the twins.
He slowly turned his head to look at you and did his signature blade-cleaning, before running away.
You were tempted to chase after him, but your friends mattered more. When you came closer to them, your heart dropped. There was blood everywhere.
Chad’s shirt was torn apart due to multiple stab. Mindy had her back against a wall, blood coming from her stomach.
Your own wounds burned at the sight, tears coming to your eyes. You couldn’t move, paralyzed.
“Shit…” you heard Sam say next to Chad
You had no idea how much time passed, but at one point Mindy coughed, causing your head to jolt in her direction. She was regaining consciousness!
Be fire you could realize it you were kneeling next to her, applying pressure on her wound.
“You’re gonna be okay, we called an ambulance, they should-”
Suddenly Damian brushed into the room.
“Oh my god-”
“Where the fuck were you?”
“I- I went to the bathroom a-and someone knocked me out… I- I just woke up”
You looked him up and down. Blood was running down his face from his forehead. But he could have done it himself.
“Stay the fuck back” Mindy said when he tried to come closer
"N-no I- I'm not... It's not me I swear... Y/n y-you believe me right...?"
You really wanted to. But last time he didn't have an alibi, and now...
"I'm sorry..."
You could see how broken he was hearing your words. Maybe he wasn't the killer after all. Or he was a good actor, which wasn't to exclude.
You were waiting in the waiting room, Tara sitting on your lap and caressing your hair gently in an attempt to reassure you. You were starting to believe her when the doctors came.
You all got up immediately, heart beating faster than ever.
"Mrs Meeks should be okay, but she needs rest"
"And Chad?" Sam asked
"I'm... sorry. We did our best but... we couldn't save him..."
You had to sit back down, in shock. You never thought that would happen again. You thought losing friends was over. You should've known it would end up this way, with Ghostface's return.
Maybe you were just in denial. Believing if you convinced yourself it wouldn't happen everything would be fine. But nothing was fine.
The 2022 massacre left a indelible mark on you. The current events only reopened the scar you thought had healed.
Maybe if you had stick all together he would still be alive. If you had been all together Ghostface wouldn't have tried anything. If you had left this stupid town when you could...
Maybe it was all your fault after all.
You were the first target, but you survived. No first targets survived before Tara. And you weren't even sure they wanted her dead at that moment.
Maybe the killer wanted to make you suffer before killing you. Maybe it was all part of their plan to let you live. Maybe they were about to destroy everything you had. Maybe-
You felt hands on your face and looked down to see Tara, concern written on her face. She brushed your cheeks with her thumbs softly. It was only then that you realized that you were crying.
That was the moment Lexi chose to arrive, breathing heavily and sweating. She must have run here.
"I- I'm sorry I had piano lesson- I just- I just saw your texts-" she took a deep breath "Mindy- is she going to be okay? And- and Chad?"
You didn't have the strength to tell her. Not now, it was still to fresh. Instead you broke down in your girlfriend's arms. You could swear she was crying too.
A loud noise made you tilt your head up. Lexi had pinned Damian to the wall, gripping him by the collar of his shirt.
"What did you do to them? You were here to why didn't you help?"
"I- I got knocked out...! I already told them...!" he made a circle toward you with his arm "L- Lexi I swear I didn't- I can't breath can you-"
"I don't fucking believe you. That's easy pretending you passed out."
Her grip only grew tighter. Damian's face started to become red. He was struggling against the blonde.
Sam had to force them appart, holding a furious Lexi away from the poor boy trying to catch his breath.
After everyone had calmed down, the police arrived and questioned the group. They didn't seem to believe Damian's alibi either.
"Maybe we should take him into custody for a little while? Just to make sure he's not, you know, the killer?" a deputy asked the sheriff
"We can't do that without evidences, that would be abusing of our power as representants of the law-"
"Do it" all head turned to the boy "T- take me into custody, you'll see it's not me. If it's the only way I can prove my innocence... I'll do it"
"You sure about that son?"
"Y-yeah"
"Okay then... come with me" the deputy said after the sheriff nodded
"The hospital is secure, we have police officers at each floor, you should be safe here. Don't go out, don't stay alone until morning. Understood?"
You weren't totally sure you could believe him. You remembered well how it ended last time. Ghostface always managed to pass past the security, why would that change now?
When the police left, you were allowed to see Mindy. She was devastated. Fortunately, her girlfriend was here for her.
Yours was holding your hand tight, fingers intertwined with yours. She knew it could've been you as much as you knew it could've been her. At the moment, you were so glad she was safe.
But it was just temporary. It always was.
Ghostface knew when to hit you. Not too soon after the previous attack, not too long after. Just as you started to think it would get better -or at least not worse. Just when hope started coming back.
The moment it hurt the most.
"Can you guys stay here for the rest of the night...?"
"Of course, we're not leaving you alone after that..."
Everyone started to move things around to get confortable for the night. You and Tara sat on the floor, on a blanket, in a corner.
You could hear soft snores, your little group falling asleep one after another. You didn't know how they could sleep in that situation. You couldn't.
Every time you closed your eyes, Ghostface appeared before you, ready to kill all your friends one by one.
You watched as Tara was sleeping on your shoulder. She seemed peaceful. You played with her hair, trying you imagine you were in your room, and it was a normal night.
you didn't realize she was awake, caught into your daydream, until she spoke.
"Are you okay...?" she whispered
You jumped a little.
"I... don't know... you?"
"Same... I just- I just hoped it wouldn't happen again... It's stupid but- I thought it would be different..."
"It's not stupid... I would rather say unrealistic... but- that's horrible but... I'm glad it wasn't you... I don't know what I would do if- if you-"
The words got stuck in your throat, tears blurring your vision again. The simple thought of losing her was unbearable.
"Hey..." she whipped your tears off of your face gently "It's not going to happen okay? I'm not dying, not now. I swear"
She kissed you tenderly, trying to whip your worries away, hand still holding yours. You kissed her back, like it was the last time.
Because it might be. We never know.
"Try to rest a little okay...?"
You nodded, resting your head on hers once she got back in her previous position against you.
You tried not to think about what just happened, or how it could get worse. You tried to empty your mind, only leaving one thought there: Tara.
But it was always when you thought the situation wouldn't get worse that it does.
You should have known the worst was yet to come.
And it would come fast.

Personal or professional?
Chap 2 | chap 3 | chap 4
Larissa Weems x fem(carpenter/joiner) named reader.
Tumblr media
Words: 2k
Warnings: panic attack, anxiety.
Note: what is violet making? Haha. God the obsession is becoming clear I’d say. X
———
Thursday came and went quickly, it’s currently Friday and 4 in the afternoon, with each passing day it seems to be getting colder and colder. Larissa sent me a screenshotted booking at a restaurant In Burlington reserved for 6:30, by the looks of it, its 5 star and very luxurious, she also said she’ll pick me up. I’m knocking off earlier than usual, hopefully finishing in half an hour. I sent her my address in return.
Im so excited, but I know it’s strictly a professional dinner between two adult woman, who might I add, has already shared an awkward moment that I can’t go back from. I’ll just pretend it never happened. But I wanted it to. I gathered the mahogany off cuts from the racks and placed them on my bench to start Monday, prepped the sandpaper and sander blowing out all the dust from the previous projects just to fill in time until I leave.
Dragging my bag slung over my shoulder and pulling out my hair tie to release the tension in my head, I turn off the lights and shut down the compressors finally leaving the vicinity until next week. Ducking out the front, I unlocked my car and threw in my belongings before starting the short 4 minute drive home. Regathering my things and making it to the front door I fumbled with the keys before dropping them to the ground. Not now. Short tempered me bent down, snatched the keys and practically ripped open the door.
Stepping inside placing my Keys in the dish on the hall stand, I took a deep breath trying to calm down. Wandering further into the house I made it to my room carelessly flinging my bag on the bed. I went looking for my tv remote to flick on for background noise, but of course it was no where in sight. 20 minutes of searching, I found it on the floor under my bed, irritated again, I put on a random movie and tore off my work clothes to have a shower and wash my hair, hopefully a scalp massage will help with my impending headache.
Stepping out and wrapping myself in a towel in front of the vanity, I wiped the mirror of steam just for it to re-form again, I used another towel to dry my hair as much as I could before blow drying it. My headache is mostly gone but I still have irritability in my system almost as if I’m on the verge of a panic attack, I can’t pin point the exact reason behind it, but I just need to push though and finish my hair and do my make up, I’m sure everything is going to be fine.
Doing the finishing touches on my makeup my hands start trembling wildly when I remember i haven’t eaten a thing today, probably just low blood sugar. Except my breathing becomes erratic, I walk out of the ensuite and sit on the edge of the bed for 5 minutes. Feeling up to it i pace to the dresser and pull out my underwear and slip them on and walk to my closet to find something to wear. I haven’t touched any of this for a very long time, I hardly remember what i have, most of my clothes are black with bits of burgundy and purples, possibly one or two things white or cream.
Dress after dress, skirt after skirt, blouses and pants strewn around my room and on the floor, not a fucking thing is right, isn’t what I want, doesn’t look right or good, fits weirdly. I hadn’t relised how much time i spent on looking and trying on clothes as there was a knock at the door, my stomach churned at the thought of not being ready for Larissa. I’m always on time, if not always early, I throw on a robe and hesitantly walk the length of the hallway to the door, I looked in the mirror on the wall seeing my eyes are bloodshot and a frown line indented between my brows, she’s going to be so disappointed in me.
Upon opening the door Larissa was breath taking, her hair styled in a low bun with her usual side part and dressed in a navy blue dress shorter than her normal work ones, white heels higher and a blue with white detailing coat to tie it all together, her lips painted in a darker shade of red as well as darker eyeshadow, also holding a small white purse. I could have collapsed at the sight of her, but knowing I have to face the inevitable disappointment, I clung to the door’s architrave.
“Violet… are you alright?” She asked concerned at my state. I let out a small huff annoyed at myself for causing a problem. I looked deep into her eyes telling her without words that I’m really not ok. “Come in.” I said opening the door widder for her to step in. She did, walking in past me she turned on the spot, observing, trying to understand the situation. I move toward her taking her wrist pulling her towards my room. Larissa took in the little bits she could view of my home, before I led her into the bedroom. I let go of her wrist and walked further into the messy room.
Turning to face her i splayed out my arms, gesturing to the state of everything. “None of it fits.” I said dropping my arms to my sides. “What do you mean darling?” She asked, still a little confused. “I mean every single thing in my wardrobe is to big, I haven’t a thing to wear.” I said, crouching down and pick the items of clothing off the floor angrily tossing them to the bed. Larissa walked a little further to bend at the knees and crouch down to take my hands in her own. “Violet.” She said. I didn’t stop, still trying to pick things up. “Violet stop sweetheart.” She gently commanded. At that I did, Larissa slowly stood pulling me with her and placing me down on my bed in a sitting position. She took to sitting beside me still holding my hands. “I’m sorry, I just- I just don’t have anything, I wanted to be ready before you got here an-.” I blurted. “It’s ok.” She said. “Don’t worry about it.”.
I sat in silence, until I could feel my nose go funny and my eyes starting to water. I’ll be damned letting Larissa see me cry. I shot up causing her to jump a little. “Just give me a minute sorry.” I shakily said walking briskly back into the ensuite and closing the door. I turned the tap on and looked at myself In the mirror, the tears flowing down my cheeks and a sob trying to crawl it’s way up my throat, I cover my my mouth trying not to make a noise. I was in there for about a minute not wanting to keep her waiting, cleaning the tears that have slightly ruined my make up and made mascara run all the way down my neck, I pat myself with the edge of a hand towel, turning off the tap and plastering on a smile, I re-opened the door to find Larissa had picked up most of the clothes on the floor.
She faced me with a sympathetic smile and tossed the shirt she was holding on the bed before coming up to me and stopping. Extending her hand up to my face she used the pad of her thumb to wipe a smudge of black from the corner of my eye, she used her other hand to cup my cheek and pull me into a hug. It’s been so long, it’s been so so long, I’ve missed this. Her hand wrapped around the backs of my shoulders and one on my head. I exhaled before breathing her back in, her scent, her perfume, her smell.
I pulled away not looking at her, feeling like it’s enough physical touch for now, how is it I’ve known Larissa for less than a week and she already feels like home, I don’t understand. “Just give me a moment, Ill actually put clothes on.” I said pulling out a sweater and sweat pants from the pile. Turing around I walked back towards the door stopping outside it telling her to make herself comfortable in the lounge room and I won’t be long.
Larissa complied and took a seat on the couch, she absorbed her surroundings, taking in my own decor, the large book shelf full of books, the arm chair in the corner with a tall lamp standing beside it, the large fire place with a big dark green and tan rug resting in front of it, the vaulted ceilings and simple yet elegant light hanging from one of the beams. Moving on the spot, was the kitchen behind her, the black marble bench tops secured to forest green cupboards and the same for the overhead cabinets with glass pains in the doors and little plants next to the sink in the island bench. She saw a lot of me in the rooms and smiled at the thought.
I opened the door stepping out in the old baggy clothes. Sitting next to Larissa I stared at the flames flickering within the fireplace. “I’m so sorry Larissa I didn’t plan this, I should have bought something yesterday.” I said. “What do you have?” She asked. I shifted to face her. “What?” I wondered. “What do you have in your pantry, I’ll cook something for us?” She questioned. I sat there looking at her wondering why the hell she hasn’t left angry yet. “I don’t care about going. I just hope your ok, would you like me to stay?” It was silent before I whispered. “Yes.”. Larissa pulled out her phone and obviously cancelled the booking.
I got up and opened the pantry, I could hear Larissa’s shoeless feet pad behind me and come to a stop. I took a step back letting her look for herself. She seemed to pick out a pack of fettuccine and a few things like crushed tomatoes, garlic, onion and herbs, stepping back she placed the ingredients on the bench. “Up for spaghetti?” She asked, I smiled and turned to the freezer and picked out a pack of mince. “And meatballs?” I asked. Larissa chuckled “and meatballs.” She replied.
Standing in the kitchen together was nice. She took the reins and somehow managed to make her way around, finding all the utensils, pots and pans she needed. I sat on top of the bench watching her flit about, I did ask if she wanted help but Larissa declined the offer. After a while I could tell she was getting hot and grabbed her shoulder spinning her around to face her back towards me as I peeled off her coat, Larissa let out a breath. “Thank you, I was getting a bit hot.” She laughed. I folded the coat and hopped off the bench to lay it on the back of the lounge. Walking back I stood beside her at the stove. “You know for some who has a big kitchen and makes them for a living, I hate cooking.” I stated, chuckling looking at her side profile. A grin spread across her face.
Larissa stepped back and leaned against the island bench with her hands clamped to the edges, she observed my jumper with a smirk. “Do I have something on me, is it stained?” I asked looking for possible marks. “No it’s just, the Colour… it’s violet.” She giggled. “Oh shut up.” I said rolling my eyes. “Anyway.” I started. “How was work today?” She took a moment to visibly recall her day. “It was… something.” She trailed. “I had detention with a group of four boys and it seemed to have turned into a therapy session. It was so odd, but very eye opening I guess, I didn’t expect it in the slightest.” She finished. “Wow, headmistress and therapist. What else?” I asked spinning around to pull out two wine glasses from the cabinets above me. Larissa shook her head and let out a little tsk. “God knows, I’m constantly surprised at the things that go on in my life.” She said.
“Are you a wine person by any chance?” I asked temporarily off topic. “Yes.” She answered. “Red, white or rosé?” I asked placing the glass on the counter. “Red, please.” Larissa hadn’t noticed the wine rack under the bench she was leaning against, I bent down and was just about eye level with her abdomen when I pulled out a bottle beside her. “So constantly on your toes than?” I asked referring back to the initial conversation. “Always. I think my job is easier when I have students that are troubled and I can connect with them about something so small, that gives them a sense of reassurance their not alone. It also feels less dawning on me, just so I don’t seem annoying to get them to open up.” She ended. I passed her a glass and watched her take a sip, her eyes involuntarily closed and she let out a small hum at the taste. I could feel my cheeks heating.
“That’s good than, I love kids, all ages to. I have a niece and she’s four I love her to death, I loved her mom and other auntie to bits to when they were kids.” I said reminiscing when Louise and jade were little. “Oh you have siblings?” She asked. “You don’t?” I asked back. “No, only child I’m afraid.” She said taking a sip and placing the glass back on the counter to tend to the stove and turn it off. “Well technically, their my half siblings on my dads side, but I will still call them my sisters no matter what. I mean I practically raised them.” I said pulling out two plates and cutlery. “So your the eldest I presume?” She asked dishing up the plates. “Yeah, I was ten when the first was born and twelve with the second.” I said picking up the plate. “Do you mind if we sit in the lounge room? Is so cold in the dining.” I asked. “Of course.” She said picking up her plate and wine glass, I did the same and placed my own glass on the floor plucking two cushions from the couch and tossing them on the floor for us to sit on.
“So where are they now?” She asked, digging into her food. “About 5 hours away.” I said. “So your not from Jericho?” She questioned. “No I moved here about 15 years ago.” I said not elaborating on why. “How is it I haven’t seen you around before?” She asked. “I don’t get out much.” I answered, beginning to eat my dinner. Fuck it was good, Larissa knows how to cook. For a while we just sat and ate, I stoll glances of her and tried so hard to not make it as though I was staring.
Our dishes discarded on the the floor and legs tucked behind ourselves, Larissa broke the silence. “I hope it was ok for me to stay, you could have told me to leave if you wanted to be alone.” She said peering over at me. The fire light was licking at her skin so beautifully, the glow made her look even more incredible. “I would have if I didn’t want you here.” I said sincerely. Larissa looked at her watch and her face contorted into a sad expression. “It’s getting quite late I should probably go soon, I’ll help tidy the kitchen.” She said. “No don’t even think about it, I can do that, you’ve done enough already, I appreciate the offer though.” I said. Larissa looked away for a moment, but her eyes fell upon a book I had resting on the small coffee table beside the lounge.
“Is that the book you bought the other day?… may I?” She asked gesturing towards it. “Yeah go ahead.” She pulled the book toward herself and flipped open to the page that had a bookmark wedged with it. “For eternity, the most beautiful things to me about you, are the things you won’t ever know about yourself. Things only I know of, because everyday I read you like a book that has never been read. Your beautiful cover with your inspiring title and amazing story held captive my curiosity. Now everyday I yearn to learn from your mystery.” I watched as she was reading, her eyes scanning through the piece of literature and her red lips forming the words, I had in fact already read that particular poem, but when it came from her I felt like I could just float into an abyss somewhere, I could hear it forever. I could hear her forever.
“I like that.” She said softly, she flipped the page back and read a couple more silently, before closing it and resting it back on the table. Larissa slowly stood and picked up my plate taking it with her back to the kitchen. I rose slowly having to hold onto the couch for support, work has really taken a toll on my body. Larissa came back to toe on her heals and rounded the lounge to meet me holding out her coat for her to slip back into. “I’ve had a wonderful evening Violet.” She said looking into my eyes. “Ditto… and I’m sorry again, but I’m sure your cooking was better than what that restaurant had to offer anyway.” I said with a smile. “Thank you, it was quite good wasn’t it?” She said with a self satisfactory smirk. “Absolutely delicious, are you going to be alright driving home, not tipsy are you?” I asked. “No I have an impeccable tolerance, thanks for the concern.” She said pulling out her keys from her pocket.
I lead Larissa to the door and open it for her. We both stood awkwardly in the doorway waiting for each other to say something. “Thank you again for the wonderful evening vi. I’ll be seeing you soon I hope.” Vi, oh my god, my nickname, this along with darling and sweetheart, I may faint. “Yes I’ll let you know when I’m ready to install at the school. I have something else for you to.” I said. “Really, what is it?” She questioned. “Uh uh, it’s a surprise, be patient and you’ll see.” I remarked with a sickeningly sweet tone. Larissa laughed and nodded. “Ok than.” She jested. Another stretch of silence radiated between us. Larissa leaned forward and without thinking of what was going on I stood completely still, she kissed my cheek and winked, Larissa without a word stepped out of the threshold and paced to her car.
Opening her door, she looked back at me. “Excuse my language, but it’s fucking freezing.” She called out. I just about died laughing, causing her to giggle. “It’s ok, I mean it is really fucken cold.” I said mocking her, crossing my arms to somehow get warmer. Larissa took the opportunity to slide into her car and turn it on, reversing out I could just make out her hand waving goodbye as she drove off. I returned the wave and closed the door locking it behind me. A feeling of emptiness washed over me as I wandered back into the kitchen, I gathered all of the dishes and put them into the dish washer and wiped down the benches.
A yawn escaped my mouth when I threw on another piece of wood on the fire, walking to turn off all the lights and make my way to my room, my eye was caught by Larissa’s purse resting on the floor next to the cushion she was sat on. I picked it up and smiled at the label Dior of course. Hesitantly I opened it and saw the contents within, a lipstick, wad of cash and a small vile of perfume. The perfume was the only thing that interested me, I wanted to smell her, feel close to her, closer than I know we’ll ever be.
I’ll find time to return it to as soon as I can possibly tomorrow, but for now I’m going to bed, my cold, empty and lonely bed.

I've had a terrible day, comment to ease my turmoil?
Oh, and towards the end of this chapter, “Luck can’t fix stupid” is just Eddie being hard on himself. He is a good boy who is trying his best.
Part 1, part 1.5, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7 of the love spell no go au
By morning, Eddie wakes to find that he’s rolled over in the night and Steve has burrowed into his arms. Hair that smells of Eddie’s shampoo tickles at his nose, and Steve is warm. A tingling under Eddie’s fingertips where they’re draped across Steve’s back tell him that his healing spells are still working—maybe that’s why Steve is sleeping so peacefully that it’s already dawn.
Nancy was supposed to have woken Steve for his guard shift, probably hours ago. Huh.
Eddie wants to melt into this and soak it up, just in case he never gets another chance, but… there’s too much going on right now to get caught up in whatever this might be. Better to take a page from Steve’s book and let it be, hold his tongue and wait until they’re not dealing with an interdimensional catastrophe.
Careful not to wake the (beautiful, brave, captivating) boy in his arms, he extracts himself carefully from the bed. He can’t resist leaving a soft kiss on Steve’s temple before he goes, though, his heart clenching and expanding and basically exploding in his chest when Steve shifts with a sigh and presses his full body into the space Eddie just vacated, seeking the lost body heat and breathing deeply against Eddie’s pillow. Fuck. Fuuuuuuck.
Instead of crawling right back into bed like he wants to, Eddie slinks out of the room and down the short hallway to the living room, eyes averted from the fleshy gash in the ceiling. Nancy is standing in the middle of the room, arms crossed as she stares up at it—but her eyes are clear, and she refocuses on Eddie as soon as he clears his throat.
“So, uh,” he croaks, throat still rough from sleep. “Watch system kinda broke down, didn’t it?”
“I couldn’t sleep,” Nancy replies, too quick not to be at least a little defensive.
Eddie peers past her to Robin, who is asleep face-down on the couch with his uncle’s scratchy wool blanket draped over her. “Not saying I blame you there, Wheeler, but. Did you try?”
After a pause, Nancy lets out a breath that seems to come from all the way down to her toes, stiff shoulders slumping just a little and world weary in a way that no teenager should have to sound. “No.”
He flashes her a brittle smile, because yeah, he gets it. The only reason he’d managed any shut-eye was probably thanks to Steve’s reassuringly steady breathing at his back. “Fair enough. Instant coffee?”
There’s only the slightest twitch of distaste in her expression (he’s betting the Wheelers can afford actual coffee beans and shit) before she nods. “Coffee would be great.”
Which kind of makes him feel like a waiter, but he did offer. Eddie puts his back firmly to the gate and pokes around the kitchen for a pot to fill with water, pours it into four different mugs once it’s come to a boil, and dutifully stirs in the shitty off-brand Folgers.
He sips his own somberly, pensive. All his life, it’s been drilled into him that magic is to be kept secret, cast in the shadows and never so flashy that it would draw too much outside attention. That’s what had gotten his dad locked up.
But this group already knows about magic, even if they only refer to it as such using dnd metaphors that are actually more accurate than they think. Hell, maybe psychic powers are just a different method of spell casting—that’s deeper into magic theory than he usually ventures to go, though, so whatever. Not important right now. The point is… they could all die. It’s a very real possibility, especially for Max, and Eddie’s seen how that goes twice now. If there’s anything he can do to help, he has to try.
Which means… he has to tell them.
After Nancy recounts what Vecna showed her, after they formulate a plan that makes Eddie’s stomach clench and roll with dread, Eddie opens his mouth and says, “Guys, I have to tell you something.”
They sit patiently if a little incredulously through his explanation. A little more credulously once he gives a demonstration, turning an apple from the Mayfield’s kitchen blue, then, purple, then neon orange, then back to red and slicing it down the middle into an even seven pieces without so much as touching it.
Dustin speaks up first, because of course he does—interrogating him about what offensive and defensive spells he knows, leading with examples that Eddie recognizes almost word for word from the Monster Manual. Lucas joins in after a minute, the boys’ enthusiasm snowballing until suddenly they’re drafting a list of things they want to see if Eddie can do.
It’s Steve who ends up putting a stop to that, snapping. “Hey shitheads, he’s not a show pony and he’s not going to do tricks just to satisfy your scientific whatever, alright? You wouldn’t do that to Eleven, we’re not doing it to Eddie.”
“Scientific method, Steve,” Dustin grumbles, but relents. Eddie shoots a grateful look to Steve over the kid’s shoulder, and the smile he gets in return makes his heart do a flip.
“I can’t do big shit like Vecna,” he cautions everyone, now that he can get a word in edgewise again. “But I can do smaller stuff. Protection charms on clothes, spells to make sure we don’t miss what we’re aiming for, that kind of thing. I can help, I’m just… not your point guy. I’m no Supergirl.”
Max snorts at the Supergirl part, but speaks up with a grave, “As the person sticking out my neck for this crazy plan, not missing sounds nice.”
That seems to clinch it. And next up, they need to stock up on weapons, so…
It was waking up to a cuddly Steve Harrington that did it, Eddie swears. That, and adrenaline from staring down the barrel of the balls-to-the-wall insane plan the group has concocted, because Eddie is surrounded by fucking heroes aparently. He doesn’t feel very heroic.
Because he says things like “It’s not exactly a car, Steve” with a devilish smirk, and not asking but telling Steve that he’s driving the stolen RV, the words big boy tumbling out like his mouth has a fucking mind of its own. And each of those times, Steve blinks back at him with something in those hazel eyes, which Eddie is trying so hard to tell himself he doesn’t know how to read, but he wants.
There isn’t time to do anything about it, though. When the RV’s rightful owners start banging on the door, adrenaline sends Steve leapfrogging into the driver’s seat and Eddie scrambling to get away from the windows so he won’t be spotted. They roar out of the trailer park with the kids whooping in the back, caught up in the adventure of it.
Eddie feels like everything is going wrong and about to get worse, but he’s felt that way ever since Chrissy died so that’s nothing new. At least Steve stays in the RV instead of going into the War Zone, even if it takes Robin pointing out that the entire high school had seen them talking at Eddie’s locker on Friday and some probably noticed them sitting together at the game—because yeah, Lucas had told them what Jason Carver had done to Gareth, and Eddie doesn’t want anyone else hurt because some vigilante jock thinks they might be harboring him.
“Sorry,” Eddie tells him after the others are gone. When Steve gives him a blank look, he adds, “That you’re a known associate of The Freak.” He nods towards the back of the RV where the two boys are wrapped up in a conversation of their own. “It’s bad enough that Lucas and Dustin are in the crosshairs, but they at least signed up for Hellfire.”
Steve frowns. “You’re my friend, Eddie, I don’t care who knows that. It shouldn’t even matter.”
“Dude, all of this shouldn’t be happening, but it is. It does matter. A hell of a fucking lot.” Eddie braces his elbows on his knees and drops his head into his hands. “Fuck.”
After a moment, a hand presses tentatively between his shoulder blades, shifting reassuringly up and down. It’s a big hand. Eddie is almost disappointed that he’s too upset to fully appreciate the contact.
As it is, he groans into his hands and shrugs the touch off. “Steve, I should… I have to tell you something.” And you might not want to keep touching me after you hear it, he doesn’t say out loud.
“What is it?”
Eddie lifts his head with a flick of his hair and a quick flail of his hands. “That was—I just cast a little privacy spell, if you were wondering. So the kids can’t eavesdrop.”
“Okay,” Steve says slowly. “Do you do that a lot? Just do magic like that? Because, you move your hands around a lot…”
He can’t help but smirk a little at that. “Not as much as you’d think. It’s a good cover if I have to, though.”
Steve’s eyes are wide and curious, his irises a honeyed brown tinged with spots of green. “Have you ever used magic on me?”
Aaand there it is. Eddie looks down at his hands, now clasped across bare his knees where time and wear have reduced the denim to strings. “Yep.”
“Like what?”
So Eddie tells him about the love spell.
Magic, considering everything else Steve has seen over the past few years and especially the past few days, isn’t much of a stretch to accept. That trick with the apple had helped, but for the most part he’s learned to just push through the confusion and listen to whoever sounds the most certain about it.
And Eddie sounds pretty certain that he’s ruined Steve’s life.
But that’s… not right. His life doesn’t feel ruined. He has Dustin and Robin. Yeah, he keeps ending up in life or death situations, but that gives him a sense of a purpose and might have happened anyway, because it’s not like Eddie’s one spell back when they were underclassmen created Hawkins Lab or Henry Creel out of thin air.
A big part of Steve is elated, actually. Eddie likes him. Or liked him, enough to try and secure his heart with magic. Maybe that elation is from the spell, but honestly? The world might end tonight and any of them might die trying to stop it, so he’ll take any good feeling he can get regardless of where it’s coming from.
When he tells Eddie as much, the guy looks about ready to cry.
Before he can protest, Steve says, “I know you think you made me feel this way and that it’s like—” he frowns, unable to remember the way Eddie had put it “—violating my self-asomething-or-other, but fuck that. Your uncle said it wouldn’t have worked if I could never have liked you on my own, right? And I… In high school, people just hung around and I could never figure out why. Magic is as good an explanation as any, I guess. But with you, I had to work to get you to be my friend. I had to earn it. The more I got to know you the more I knew you’re a great guy, so by the time we were friends it felt like I’d really accomplished something, you know? You’re really nice, once you get past the prickly attitude—”
“Prickly?” Eddie mutters, quiet like he wants to interrupt but still feels a little too guilty to quite dare. Steve gets it; he knows how guilt can be, especially when it’s guilt for a stupid reason.
“—And you’re smart, way smarter than me. The teachers who failed you are either full of shit or bad at their jobs, probably both. You’re so creative it blows me away, keeping track of all that Dungeons and Dragons stuff and making up entire worlds and all the people that go in them. And you have a great smile, with dimples and everything, and your hands are… And the way you watch me sometimes, like I’m the only person in the room even if we’re in a crowd, it feels really good.”
Eddie is getting more red by the second, a flush starting in his cheeks and threatening to go all the way to his chest at the compliments. Which, okay, Steve knows he’s gushing, but he’s been bottling all this up for a while and he’s not used to that. When it comes to love he’s usually an all-in kind of guy, and holding back had led to a quiet but snotty breakdown in Robin’s arms the night before.
… Damn, he’s going to have to admit that she was right about Eddie being into guys (into him), though.
“Steve,” Eddie says, and he sounds longing. Music to Steve’s ears.
“I wanted the championship game to be a date,” Steve blurts. Because he’s already mentioned Eddie’s dimples and his hands, might as well go all in.
Eddie’s blush intensifies, the start of that dimpled grin Steve loves so much on his face. “I… I did too.”
“So… after the game, when you went off with Chrissy…”
“That was just business,” Eddie says quickly, and Steve ducks his head to try and hide the relieved grin. “I mean, I wanted to help her, but I’m, uh. It’s always been just guys for me.”
“It’s both for me,” Steve tells him, glancing up through his eyelashes. He notices the way Eddie’s hand twitches, wanting to reach out but unsure, so he reaches over and tentatively lays his fingers over Eddie’s ringed ones. “Is that… okay?”
Eddie bites his lip, and just as tentatively twines their fingers together. “Y-yeah, I think so. This is—Shit, yeah.”
“Would it make you feel better if… I don’t know, is there a way to turn the spell off?”
“Not really, magic doesn’t—” Eddie starts, but then stops, frowns. “Uh. My uncle did teach me something to undo magic once, but it’s a whole… thing. Like pulling a ripcord on a parachute, and, yeah, you stop falling as fast, but it jerks you around first. And it would ‘turn off’ every spell I’ve ever cast.”
Before Steve has a chance to react to that, they’re interrupted by the rest of the group crashing back into the RV. Steve is up and barely even registers the remnants of Eddie’s privacy spell clinging to his face like invisible cobwebs. He spots Jason Carver out of the corner of his eye just before pulling out of the parking lot and, fuck.
The rest of the day is too busy and tense to speak to Eddie alone, and Steve has a creeping worry (which he tries to ignore) that maybe Robin is right; maybe they aren’t going to be okay this time.
Eddie doesn’t get to have nice things. Like an unbroken family, or a high school diploma, or Steve Harrington.
He knows this. It’s deeply embedded in the reason he chickens out at the last minute, shaping his possible last words to Steve into, “Make him pay.” In that moment where their eyes had met he’d felt every loose thread, every unspoken thing between them weighing on him like a ton of bricks, and he regrets everything. Even though there hadn’t been time. He wonders if Steve regrets not saying whatever was on his mind back at the trailer, while the water was running… And from the way Steve looks back at him before nodding and turning to go, Eddie thinks he can hear the hollowness in it.
Steve has similar hollowness, Eddie knows. Parents whose attention has always seemed to ghost right over him ever since Barbara Holland, leaving Steve to drift all alone in that big house until he felt like a phantom. They know these things about each other; they’ve talked about it all while high (everything except the Eddie wanting Steve part… and, apparently, an entire alternate universe full of monsters). And Steve gets it, even though Eddie wishes he didn’t. Wishes Steve’s life could be easy streets and clear sailing (ha, ahoy) so that Eddie wouldn’t have to feel so seen, stripped bare of all his armor.
Even his battle vest is still in Steve’s possession, hidden under the thick army jacket.
And it’s ironic, really, that Steve thinks he’s the stupid one but Eddie forgot about the goddamn air vents in the trailer. There isn’t really a spell to protect against that; luck can’t fix stupid.
So he does the best he can think of, if it can be called thinking at this point: flings a stealth spell at Dustin so the bats will be more likely to forget about him, cuts the sheet-rope, and bolts out the door. He grabs a bike and pedals as hard as he can, just trying to get away, and in the blankness of his panicking-in-overdrive mind an idea begins to form.
When one of the bats gets caught in the spokes and Eddie goes down, he’s up almost immediately and spitting the words Wayne taught him when he was still small—before his uncle got custody but after his mom started getting sick, when Eddie’s dad had first started getting reckless.
The swarm of flying monsters descends on him while he’s still screaming the spell. After the last syllable, bleeding and knocked around by the attack, the ripcord pulls and Eddie is slammed into darkness.

The Other Woman pt6
Heres Part 6, finallyyyyy.
Slow burn
Summary: Chris, a popular hockey player at school where Y/n went, found himself falling for the beautiful, shy girl. As time went on he found out who Y/n truly was as a person and ultimately, he had to make the choice, his girlfriend, or the other woman.
Part 6
Monday came by quicker than I had hoped. When I woke up that morning I felt so sick. I had a throbbing headache and my stomach was killing me. I had been up for probably 30 minutes before I had rushed to the bathroom to vomit the acids in my stomach, since I hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday afternoon.
Yeah, I was not going to school today. I also called work and explained the situation. My boss was understanding. She told me to take as much time as I needed.
I turned off my lights and put the mini trash can from my bathroom next to my bed. I flipped onto my side, facing the edge of my bed in case I had to lean over and puke again. I curled up and held my stomach, feeling the pain finally take over.
–
I woke up from the sound of my door being opened harshly. I groaned and opened my eyes. My mom was standing in my doorway.
“Y/n, what are you still doing here? It’s Monday. You have school.”
I explained to her how I wasn’t feeling well. She walked out of the room and came back with some water and medicine for me to take.
“Rest up then, kiddo.” She kissed my forehead. “If you need anything, just call me.” She pushed my hair out of my face then turned to leave the room. I checked my phone to see what time it was.
It was 11:30. They had 3 new messages. 2 of them from Chris and 1 of them from my dad. I checked the one from my dad first.
When you coming visit? I miss yall. Don’t be a stranger, Y/n. Text me back when you can. I love you.
I sighed and closed out of the message, then clicked Chris’s contact. I looked at his message, soon responding after reading them.
Why aren’t you in 3rd hour? Are you here today? Soon after his first message he had sent, Hello??
I typed back, Sorry, Chris. I’ve been sleeping all morning. I’m sick with what I think is the stomach flu. But I should be back by Wednesday or Thursday.
I shut off my phone. I wasn’t tired anymore so I grabbed my TV remote and played some music. I sat up in my bed and grabbed my school bag from the floor. I opened it and grabbed my computer, checking my school work I had missed for the day. I had probably 4 assignments. Soon after starting my first assignment, my phone buzzed. I picked it up and checked the message. Chris had texted back rather quickly.
Send me your address. I’ll bring you some food and medicine. I laid back on my pillow, smiling like a 14 year old with a crush. I practically kicked my feet at his message. To be honest, I knew I’d get to this point with Chris. Where I would fall for him. But I think a part of me had always liked Chris. Even just seeing him walk past me in the hallways would always make my heart hurt, I just never realized I actually liked him until he talked to me the first time. I sent him a message back.
No, don’t worry about it. I should be fine but thank you. He read it. I sat waiting for his message for a while before I figured he wasn’t texting back. I shut off my phone and started working on my school assignments once again.
It took me about 2 hours to do everything I had missed. By the time I finished, school would have been 10 minutes from the final bell ringing. Chris had never texted back. I was kind of bummed about it, but tried not to think about it too much.
I got up out of my bed and immediately felt a wave of dizziness overcome me. I rushed to the bathroom, emptying my already empty stomach once again. I sat on the bathroom floor for a good 20 minutes, too scared to move. Throwing up was definitely my least favorite thing.
My mom came knocking on the bathroom door once I hit the 25 minute mark. Not that anyone was counting, except for me.
I flushed the toilet and pushed myself against the wall. “You can come in.”
“Are you sure? Someone’s here to see you.”
My eyes furrowed in confusion. The bathroom door opened after a few seconds of silence. I saw my mom, water bottle in hand. She walked in, sitting next to me. After she sat down she called out, “Don’t be shy, we don’t bite.” She giggled and pushed my shoulder softly. I just looked at her, then towards the door.
“I brought you some food and things to help with your stomach.” Chris walked in. My eyes widened and I tried to quickly stand up. The second I felt dizzy, I collapsed back into the position I was in again. Mom ran her fingers through my hair. Then she started to rub big circles into my back. Chris put the toilet seat down and sat on it. He was now in front of me holding a bag of food and medicine. “I didn’t know what kind of food you ate but Alice said you liked strawberries and toaster strudels so I grabbed a few packs of everything.”
Yep, I was for sure going to kill Alice. He pulled out of the bag a packet of medicine and a sweet tea, as well as a pepsi. He left the food in the bag but placed it on the counter next to my sink. He read the back of the packet and took out 2 pills, handing them to me along with the sweet tea.
“How did you get here? I didn’t tell you where I lived.” I grabbed the things from his hands. My face was flushed and I was hot. I probably looked like a mess. My face was pale and my cheeks were red. My hair was a mess and I was wearing fuzzy socks and some shorts with a hoodie. It was hot and I was sweaty.
“That was also Alice. She’s very helpful.” He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. My mom put her hand on my knee. I looked at her.
“Say thank you, Y/n. He came all this way for you.”
My head was throbbing. “Thank you,” I mumbled.
“I’ll leave you alone.” Mom stood up and walked to the bathroom door. “Yell if you need anything.” She walked out, leaving only me and Chris in the small bathroom.
Chris held his hand to my forehead. “Yeah, you’re definitely sick. You’re burning up. Where do you keep your towels?” I pointed to the cabinets under the sink. He got up and rummaged through the cabinet before pulling out a small black towel and running it under the cold water from the sink. He rang it out then placed it on my head. I went to grab it but he pushed my hand away, holding his hand and the towel to my forehead.
“Thank you, Chris.”
He smiled and sat next to me, replacing the spot mom was previously in.
“You know, 3rd hour was soooo boring without you.” He dragged out the so, making it seem way too dramatic. I looked at him. He pushed the hair out of my face and tucked the strands behind my ears. “Can I put your hair up for you?” I nodded my head.
“Let’s go to my room first. I’ve been here way too long.” Chris got up first, grabbing my hand to help me get up. If I wasn’t in so much pain, I would have been so nervous.
He led me out the door and to my bed. He let go of my hand and grabbed my desk chair. He pulled it to the side of my bed next to me. I turned my back to him, handing him the hair tie on my wrist. I held the towel to my head.
He gathered all my hair and pulled it back into a ponytail. He was very gentle. So gentle I almost didn’t feel it. “There, that’s better”
I felt my face heat up. I shifted and turned back to face him. He got up and went back to the bathroom, soon coming back with the bag of food in his hand. He placed it on my bed next to me. I rummaged through it, grabbing the pack of strawberries. They looked so good.
“Here,” I handed him a strawberry. He took it and ate it. I also grabbed one and ate it. They were so sweet.
“You have a nice room. It really describes who you are.” I looked at him puzzled.
“That is a good thing, right?”
He nodded his head at me. A few seconds passed but it felt like minutes.
“You know, you really didn’t have to come here for me. I’m grateful, but you could have been doing better things.” I looked at him. He was studying my room, looking around and messing with the trinkets on my side table.
“I don’t mind. I wanted to see you anyway.” He looked at me, his head tilted. He had a grin on his face. My face was red once again. I kept eating the strawberries silently, offering some to Chris whenever he had finished his last. I grabbed the remote from my bed and turned off the music that had been playing for the past few hours. Now the room was completely silent. It was a comfortable silence. Something about Chris being here was making my heart calm down. My stomach started to feel better.
He looked at me for a while before saying, “Alice is worried about you too. You should text her. Let her know you’re okay.” I smiled at him.
“For being sick, you’re still really beautiful.” He pushed my hair back. I removed the towel from my head and put it on the empty spot next to me. I grabbed his hand from my hair. I dropped our hands into my lap and fiddled our fingers together. I played with his hand, but it didn't seem like he minded. I lifted our hands, placing one of mine against his. His were bigger than mine, only by a little bit. We both looked at our hands. I interlocked our fingers. I don’t know why I did that, but he didn’t pull away. We looked at each other.
He’s so beautiful. So much prettier than me, that’s for sure.
I put our hands down on my bed. Our fingers were still wrapped around each other.
“Why is it that everytime you come around, I get nervous?” I looked at him.
“I don’t know.” He responded slowly. “But, I think you make me nervous too. I get a tingly feeling around you.” His small confession caught my attention.
My eyes widened. “I get a tingly feeling too. Right.. Here.” I placed his hand on my heart. He held it there, feeling my heart beat.
“Your heart’s racing.”
“I know.”
He looked at me and moved his hand away. He grabbed mine and placed it on his heart.
His heart is racing too. I felt my body go numb.
“Mine’s beating fast too, isn’t it.” He said that as more of a statement than anything.
My breath hitched. I scanned over his face. His cheeks were a light pink. His hair was slicked back into a baseball hat, a little bit sticking out by his ears. He looked so good. I looked at his eyes then down to his lips. He noticed it and I moved my hand away.
I want to kiss him. God, I want to kiss him so fucking bad.
I looked back to his eyes, his finding mine. I looked away from him.
You’re sick, Y/n. No, that’s not important, he has a girlfriend. A beautiful and sweet girlfriend. Someone who doesn’t deserve anything less than Chris. Someone who is way better for him than you could ever imagine.
Chris and Clairissa were perfect together. They’ve been dating since the beginning of our junior year. Everyone knew who they were and who they belonged to. It would be a sin to separate them.
Chris spoke, pulling me from my thoughts.
“I guess I should get going soon. I have a hockey game tonight. You should come.” I looked back at him.
“I know you aren’t feeling well, but if you end up feeling better, come watch it. It starts at 7 at the rink.”
“I’ll think about it.” I smiled softly. He smiled back and patted my head. He stood up and pushed the chair back to its original spot. Chris walked to the door of my room, opening it.
“If I don’t see you later, text me.”
I looked down at my lap. “I will. Thank you again, Christopher.” He grinned.
“Anything for the pretty lady.” My head snapped up. There it was again. He called me pretty again. He turned and shut the door. Soon after, my door opened again and mom walked in. She practically skipped over to my bed, a big smile on her face. She pushed my shoulder softly again.
“He was cute,” She wiggled her eyebrows at me and giggled like a little girl. I smiled and sighed.
“I know.”

Chapter 1: What are the Possibilities?
5:45 AM
You’ve never truly been a morning person. You wish you were but there’s nothing great about them. The eye crust, the bonnet on the floor, the lopsided hair, the drool on your pillow, and the alarm blaring in your ear. But today is different, you went to bed early last night after celebrating with Riri.
She’s lived with you for the past three months but she nearly feels like family to you probably because you’ve known each other since the last two years of medical school. She reminds you of a sister you never had growing up, always reminding you to study and bugging the shit out of you simultaneously.
Celebrating, meaning drinking beers and talking shit about your old medical school professors.
You feel a tug on your shirt as you turn around.
“Jesus, you look fucking rough.” Riri grins and you toss the pillow below your head at her. She stands to the side and stares back at you, a silk durag wrapped around her braids and her body drowning in a black hoodie to match.
“We got work in an hour, so get yo ass up.” She says again. You see the coffee cup in her hands and imagine having your own.
“Breakfast is ready, I gotta go take Roscoe the third out for a walk.” She reminds you. Her dog, she’s had the German Shepherd for a minute as far as you know and you can tell she cares but you don’t let it on your bed at all, let alone your room. You hear it’s paws against the hardwood floor and it’s heavy breathing as it enters your room.
“Riri, I don’t want it in my room.” You groan, shutting your eyes.
“Aight, my bad, Roscoe the Thir-“
“Do you have to call it that everytime?”
“First of all, Roscoe is a he…And that’s HIS name, get the hell up Y/N, I ain’t tryna be late.” She sasses before walking out. You watch the dog tilt it’s head before joining her out of your room.
You don’t bother making your bed as you get out of it. Your room is still pretty empty, just your bed on the side of it and boxes everywhere. You move one out of the way as you walk down the hallway and towards the kitchen.
You smell bacon, and something sweet like waffles or pancakes. When you make it downstairs, your plate is set on the counter and Riri’s is already in the sink.
She’s always been a good cook and other than the dog, you’ve gotten the perfect roommate. You’re sure she’s out walking Roscoe so you don’t look for her.
You scroll through your phone as you eat.
You reply to texts from your mother who’s wishing you good luck on your first day, and a couple friends from medical school.
You hear Riri’s voice before the door opens.
“Sharon, You’ll be aight, highschool is fun. I had fun-….yes the basketball team was fun, try out, you got the moves for it.” She says, entering the space. You’ve never seen her truly have a soft spot for anyone but her sister or mother , her voice is always softer, more caring.
Roscoe is out and he sits next to you as you hold the bacon to your mouth. You don’t even look at him and you look at Riri instead who ends her phone call with a bye and a low ‘love you.’
“You played ball?” You question as she approaches you, kneeling to removing the leash off of her dog.
“Yeah, for five years in highschool and for two years in college, point guard.” She says while standing across from you, still scrolling through her phone.
“Mhm, why’d you quit?”
“I picked medicine, after my dad died, I wanted to save lives so I dropped ball.” She says casually. You suddenly feel the greasy bacon slide down your throat. She looks up at you when the silence becomes deafening.
“Don’t make it a thing, Y/N, I ain’t mean it for no pity, I’m not offended, and if you thinking about apologizing, don’t. It’s the truth, I saw death and I wanted to learn how to prevent it.” She elaborates. You’ve known her for three years and had no idea she even lost a parent. You wouldn’t know unless she said something.
You hear a high-pitched whine and stare at big wide eyes.
“Boy, go sit, I ain’t giving you this bacon.” You murmur, watching the dog obey and sit eagerly. He actually listened. You cut a small piece off and chuck it into his mouth.
“Y/N! He can’t be eating that!”
6:20 AM
You and Riri have been assigned lockers right next to each other and you can’t wait to see your lab coats. The hospital is fucking huge and you can’t wait to get a full your from your attending. Riri grabs the baby blue scrubs in front of her and strips immediately.
“You already changing?” You question.
“Y/N, we gotta be ready, you should change too.”’ She advises. You choose to follow it, changing as well. When you’re both done, you run your finger over the embroidery of your name stitched to your white lab coat.
Most hospitals don’t do this for interns but luckily for you, Northwestern does. Riri closes her locker, pulling her box braids into a bun above her head.
“I guess we wait here.” She shrugs. You sit with her as other interns fill the room. Some are from
Prestigious medical schools, other from ones you’ve never heard of a day in your life. You and Riri remain close, listening to some conversation and tuning out others.
Everyone goes silent and you hear a sharp accented voice speak.
“I’m here to get my interns for the day, I need you to move fast, move slow and you will be left behind. Speak while I’m speaking and you can go home, try again another day. If you think you know something, no you don’t. Ask me a question after this week, everyone got it?” She asks. You can’t tell where she’s from but you can hear that she’s African. You can’t see her due to the sea of interns in front of you.
“When I call your names if you miss it, I will not be repeating myself…Adrien Johnson, Kiara Brooks, George Wilson, Liam Rodriguez, Sophia Porter, Y/N, L/N and Rianna Williams.” She says clearly. You and Riri squeeze your way through the crowd and finally see dark blue scrubs.
Shuri Udaku in the fucking flesh. You’ve read so many articles around her. She’s done so much, completely changed hospitals and medical care.
She’s pretty. Real Pretty. If you didn’t know any better you’d think she’s modeling those navy scrubs. Her name is etched on the lab coat.
‘Shuri Aja-Adanna Udaku.’
Tattoos cover her fingers and your sure they’re up her arm but they’re cut off by the scrubs. Her hair is shaved in an undercut and coils cover her forehead. Her hard eyes stare at yours.
“Staring problem?” She questions and Riri locks eyes with you, waiting for you to answer.
“I-“
“Don’t care, let’s go.” She interrupts.
She gives you all a quick tour of the hospital. You’ve never written so quickly before. She’s quick, stern and she’s assigned you all numbers since she doesn’t know your names.
Riri’s four and you’re two.
You, Dr. Udaku , Riri and the rest of the interns are all in the rather large elevator as she’s about to show you all the trauma bay. You’re sure that Riri’s excited and by the way she’s bouncing on her feet, she looks like a kid on Christmas.
One of the interns, who’s name you haven’t memorized yet speaks.
“Dr. Udaku, I love your work, I’ve seen so many article-“ He begins as her eyes cut over to his.
“I don’t care, I get my ass kissed everyday, I don’t care how many articles you’ve seen, I want to find out if you can do what I’ve done. If any of you have comments on my work, don’t mention it…It won’t get you further.” She says and coincidentally the elevator dings. She walks around the hospital like she owns it, and the surgeons around her know she owns the floor too. She ignores most greetings except for one.
A woman that’s around her height with light skin and long black hair that’s pulled back into a ponytail. Her tattoos are much more colorful that her counterpart, covering her neck and almost all of her arms.
“Wassup, A.J.” She smiles, smacking Dr. Udaku’s arm. She doesn’t have her lab coat on so all you see is her I.D and the first thing you notice is how pretty she looks in her photo. You’ve never seen anyone so photogenic.
Her name reads, Vivian Vision. Trauma Department.
“Hello… I’m working.” Dr. Udaku replies.
“I bet she’s scaring all of you, you’ll be fine, good luck on your first day.” She smiles warmly before a patient is rolled right next to all of you. She immediately begins to her to work, asking for stats and her voice fades as she follows the patients.
All of you watch in awe at the way she went from a simple conversation to beginning to save a life.
“The trauma bay can be very active especially in the mornings and at nights.” Shuri picks her lesson back up.
“That shit was so fuckin’ cool.” Riri sighs.
Yes it fucking was.
7: 49 AM
For your first day, you all get to watch a surgery with Dr. Udaku. She’s instructed You all to sit in the front, however she’s sitting right behind you. You see her in the reflection of the glass in front of you. Her legs are crossed, her chin resting in her hand and posture straight.
You force your eyes back on the surgery as she leans forward, placing her elbows on her knees. You can feel her eyes on you.
“Two.” She speaks as all the interns turn their head.
“Yes?” You respond. Riri sits next to you, her eyes glued to the surgery and doing her best not to pay attention to the conversation next to her.
“What’s this procedure called?” She asks. You had no idea what it was, she did it on purpose and you realized it now. But you can figure this out.
It’s Orthopedic. There’s a an incision over the thigh so that rules out anything in any other areas. It’s not a double hip replacement as there’s only one metal stem you notice the metal socket as well. You stare at instrument set, all of those are instruments for some kind of hip surgery.
“A total hip replacement.” You state.
“Yes it is, who’s the doctor?” She asks. She showed you all the board almost an hour again and you barely remember it.
She takes your silence as an incorrect answer.
“Anyone want to answer that?” Everyone is silent. You do your best to rack an image of the surgeon in your brain before Riri cuts in.
“Dr. Wyatt Wheatley.” Riri answers.
“Correct, I suggest you all pay attention in the near future, Dr. L/N And Dr. Williams, you will be on my first case next week.” She replies. You smile faintly and when you look into the glass, her eyes are trained on you.
Riri nudges you and whisper-yells.
“We in this shit..We already for first case.” She smiles. You smile back before the both of you look at the case in front of you.
1:00 PM.
You’ve been able to watch 2 surgeries today. They were both the same one and she questions everyone on it afterward. Everyone’s doing great but one person flakes. The same guy that tried to compliment her earlier.
His words get caught in his throat as you all sit in the O.R Gallery.
“You don’t seem very prepared, Dr. Johnson. Did you really go through four years or college and four years of medical school, just to flake?” She asks harshly and you feel hurt for him. He seems like the sensitive type and you sympathize with him. He’s a nervous wreck, similiar to the way you were back in College.
“N-no, sorry, can you repeat the question?”
“Why’re your apologizing?” She asks immediately. He rubs his palms on his scrubs as he meets her eyes.
“I-um-“
“Listen, Johnson. I need you to get some tough skin if you’re going to be working with me in the near future, I suggest you get off early to recollect yourself.” She suggests. He shakes his head before speaking.
“I can stay it’s f-fine.” He murmurs.
“Good.” She says briefly, almost like she was testing him.
..
3:53 PM
You all have a five minute break finally. You and Riri don’t click with any of the interns within your group, so you’ve founded a secluded hallway and managed to sit on an empty bed. She’s munching on some chips from the vending machine while you sip on some coke.
You’re both tired but neither of you have brought it up. Dr. Udaku is extremely strict and your brain has been moving too fast. She’s been testing everyone.
You’ve been awake for about 9 hours and you have 3
more to go.
“How you feeling?” You ask Riri. Her eyes drift slowly from her Chips to your face.
“It’s like God wanted to send the fuckin devil so he made her.” She scowls and you can’t help but laugh. She laughs quietly with you before speaking.
“She’s just so mean, what you think?” She asks. And a part of you finds it attractive. You’ve always liked both men and women and you’ve datee an equal amount but one thing you’ve always liked is someone that has their shit together.
She’s knowledgeable but not cocky. She knows her shit and she’s humble about it too. People gravitate towards her, it’s so fucking attractive and her tattoos and sharp jawline don’t help your case. And lord, her accent damn near makes your toes curl.
“Ion know she’s kinda fine.”
“See I knew you was gon’ say some wack ass shit.” Riri chuckles as she crumpled up her empty bag of chips.
“It’s true.” You shrug.
“Yeah, whatever, I get it.” She shrugs. You want to ask her who she thinks is attractive. You remember in medical school when Riri thought she might’ve like guys too but messed around with one one to realize she actually fucking hated it.
She kissed a friend while she was drunk and caught feelings quicker than she did with the guy she knew for a year.
That’s when she knew she only liked girls. You also know her type since you’ve known her for so long.
She doesn’t care for them being feminine or masculine since she’s a mix of both but she’s happened to date a mostly fems, mostly black women.
“Nobody here is pretty to you?”
“Vision, She coo’.” She shrugs. That’s Riri for ‘I’m trying to not make it a big deal but I really think she’s fine.’
You check your Apple Watch.
3:57 PM
looks like breaks over.
6:25 PM.
You feel gross now that you’re in your own clothes. Your team of interns is the first to be released and you watch Riri pull her sweatshirt over her body and slam her locker.
Eye bags are evident on her face and a small frown displays on her face as she grabs her car keys from her locker. She releases her hair from its bun and assess you, you’re still in the midst of changing.
“Meet me at the entrance in five, Y/N.” She rasps and yawning while walking past you. You’re the only one in the locker room and you’ve already changed into your flared leggings.
You remove your top, enjoying the fresh air on your skin. A knock forces you to turn around.
Dr. Udaku stands there, taking long strides before being an arms length away. You swear you see her eyes flash on the upper half of your body.
“Be early tomorrow, 7:20 instead of 8. I want you and Williams on rounds.” She speaks. Maybe your seeing things but the smallest smirk appears on that pretty face.
7:00 PM
Riri returns home from taking Roscoe out for a walk. She lays on the couch with him. You’ve both agreed to watch a movie together despite the exhaustion. You fill up your bowl of snacks and one for Riri as well.
“You want hot chips? You question, turning around when you’re met with silence. You find Riri knocked out, on her back and sprawled out on the couch, her arm and one leg hanging off of it.
You’re tired too. You walk towards her, grabbing the pillow against her side and placing it below her head. You cover her in a thick plush blanket that’s ended up on the floor (she probably kicked it off.) she luckily got her durag and bonnet on before knocking out. You turn the T.V off and watch Roscoe sleep on top of her feet. Sometimes you think the dog may be cute.
“Night’ Roscoe.” You say, petting the top of his head.
You turn all the lights off and make sure the door is locked and then go into your room. You still have so many boxes bur the first thing you do is fall straight into bed.
You get comfortable beneath the sheets and let sleep take over. Before you’re in too deep though, Dr. Udaku pops up in your brain. She’s so pretty. And you wonder if she has lean abs below those scrubs. Telling by those toned biceps, she just might.
You wonder where she’s from. You were going to ask till you remembered her no question statement earlier. Was she staring at you earlier? Maybe not? There’s no way, someone like her wouldn’t do anything that unprofessional like that. She’s too…harsh.
You’ll find out. Not tonight, but definitely someday.

Shout out to Fantasy High Junior Year to get me to post original thoughts on here for the first time on years - Thought after Episode 15, The Last Stand, spoilers ahead
Based on what happened with Buddy, Brennan's callout of "what was loaded into that crossbow?", and Brennan saying in AP that killing Buddy was always on the table this is what I think Kipperlilly Clerickiller's plan was (Also ty Fandom I will be using this forever now)
1. Snuck in with Buddy when the Last Stand was being set up. (Saw some people questioning how she managed to get in, I truly think it's as simple as this)
2. Steal both Buddy and Kristen's diamonds to ensure no reviving can occur
3. I think the plan was to shoot the proctor with rage crystals, causing him to hulk out and depending on timing, no one to stop more monsters from arriving.
4. Based on where she was standing, I think the goal was to blame the crossbow bolt on Buddy and then leave still undetected with Oisin's prepped plane shift
4a. I still think Buddy dying was always part of the plan but I think the goal was to get the Bad Kids to have to ruin their own situation (Having to kill the hulked out proctor, seeing Buddy as an enemy and targeting him, being stuck because if Kristen had used her 7th level slot then they would at minimum be stuck for 8 hours assuming they all managed to survive if the monsters were still coming)
5. Theory here and we'll see if it proves correct but my immediate thought when Buddy died was that KLCK is planeshifting to the Celestial plane and hoping to use Buddy to sneak into Sol's office like when Aguefort snuck in through Kristin's backpack
6. Once in Sol's office, she would be where YES! Was originally created and the reason Bakur supposedly failed his ritual is that he needed to be in a place where a god had been created in order to rez a God.
7. Chaos ensues when corrupted Ankarna is brought back
8. Profit??? I guess??? Tbh the exact reasoning of the Ratgrinders is still the most elusive thing to me. I think my current most likely thought is that Jace is serving as manipulator and that KLCK is the most "lost in the sauce" as it were what with her pre-established anger issues.
Since we only saw a hand I'm reserving judgement on Oisin as he may have only been aware of his part of the plan and not the rest of what Miss ClericKiller has been up to. Not attached so I'm also down for him to be full evil but I'm just not sure yet.
Another thought I had is that the Ratgrinders may yet mirror the Bad Kids not just in class, but also in personal problems.
Ruben and Fig both having identity crises but Ruben has isolated himself so much he's turned to being a lackey
MaryAnn just doing what she's doing because she's good at it, not because it's something she's passionate about
If Oisin's dragon relative is evil and he's going along with the plot because of that, that would mirror Adaine breaking away from her own evil parents
Don't know enough about Ivy to have thoughts on her really, buddy and Lucy could probably be their own post tbh, and as I can't get a lock on Kipperlilly.
Jawbone seemed convinced she was just misunderstood and jawbone usually has a pretty good read on people. But then she's smiling while murdering Buddy and teleporting away. Why does she hate Riz specifically? Is it something he did or is it more generic jealousy (or a crush but I don't care for that theory personally and doesn't feel super supported currently)?
What's the deal with the rage soil and how did they place a rune of Ankarna's name on Yolanda/Lucy if it was unknown at that point?
Anyway, feel free to reblog or tag with thoughts, I'm so excited to unravel more of this mystery.
