How I got scammed
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this post to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/02/05/cyber-dunning-kruger/#swiss-cheese-security
I wuz robbed.
More specifically, I was tricked by a phone-phisher pretending to be from my bank, and he convinced me to hand over my credit-card number, then did $8,000+ worth of fraud with it before I figured out what happened. And then he tried to do it again, a week later!
Here's what happened. Over the Christmas holiday, I traveled to New Orleans. The day we landed, I hit a Chase ATM in the French Quarter for some cash, but the machine declined the transaction. Later in the day, we passed a little credit-union's ATM and I used that one instead (I bank with a one-branch credit union and generally there's no fee to use another CU's ATM).
A couple days later, I got a call from my credit union. It was a weekend, during the holiday, and the guy who called was obviously working for my little CU's after-hours fraud contractor. I'd dealt with these folks before â they service a ton of little credit unions, and generally the call quality isn't great and the staff will often make mistakes like mispronouncing my credit union's name.
That's what happened here â the guy was on a terrible VOIP line and I had to ask him to readjust his mic before I could even understand him. He mispronounced my bank's name and then asked if I'd attempted to spend $1,000 at an Apple Store in NYC that day. No, I said, and groaned inwardly. What a pain in the ass. Obviously, I'd had my ATM card skimmed â either at the Chase ATM (maybe that was why the transaction failed), or at the other credit union's ATM (it had been a very cheap looking system).
I told the guy to block my card and we started going through the tedious business of running through recent transactions, verifying my identity, and so on. It dragged on and on. These were my last hours in New Orleans, and I'd left my family at home and gone out to see some of the pre-Mardi Gras krewe celebrations and get a muffalata, and I could tell that I was going to run out of time before I finished talking to this guy.
"Look," I said, "you've got all my details, you've frozen the card. I gotta go home and meet my family and head to the airport. I'll call you back on the after-hours number once I'm through security, all right?"
He was frustrated, but that was his problem. I hung up, got my sandwich, went to the airport, and we checked in. It was total chaos: an Alaska Air 737 Max had just lost its door-plug in mid-air and every Max in every airline's fleet had been grounded, so the check in was crammed with people trying to rebook. We got through to the gate and I sat down to call the CU's after-hours line. The person on the other end told me that she could only handle lost and stolen cards, not fraud, and given that I'd already frozen the card, I should just drop by the branch on Monday to get a new card.
We flew home, and later the next day, I logged into my account and made a list of all the fraudulent transactions and printed them out, and on Monday morning, I drove to the bank to deal with all the paperwork. The folks at the CU were even more pissed than I was. The fraud that run up to more than $8,000, and if Visa refused to take it out of the merchants where the card had been used, my little credit union would have to eat the loss.
I agreed and commiserated. I also pointed out that their outsource, after-hours fraud center bore some blame here: I'd canceled the card on Saturday but most of the fraud had taken place on Sunday. Something had gone wrong.
One cool thing about banking at a tiny credit-union is that you end up talking to people who have actual authority, responsibility and agency. It turned out the the woman who was processing my fraud paperwork was a VP, and she decided to look into it. A few minutes later she came back and told me that the fraud center had no record of having called me on Saturday.
"That was the fraudster," she said.
Oh, shit. I frantically rewound my conversation, trying to figure out if this could possibly be true. I hadn't given him anything apart from some very anodyne info, like what city I live in (which is in my Wikipedia entry), my date of birth (ditto), and the last four digits of my card.
Wait a sec.
He hadn't asked for the last four digits. He'd asked for the last seven digits. At the time, I'd found that very frustrating, but now â "The first nine digits are the same for every card you issue, right?" I asked the VP.
I'd given him my entire card number.
Goddammit.
The thing is, I know a lot about fraud. I'm writing an entire series of novels about this kind of scam:
https://us.macmillan.com/books/9781250865878/thebezzle
And most summers, I go to Defcon, and I always go to the "social engineering" competitions where an audience listens as a hacker in a soundproof booth cold-calls merchants (with the owner's permission) and tries to con whoever answers the phone into giving up important information.
But I'd been conned.
Now look, I knew I could be conned. I'd been conned before, 13 years ago, by a Twitter worm that successfully phished out of my password via DM:
https://locusmag.com/2010/05/cory-doctorow-persistence-pays-parasites/
That scam had required a miracle of timing. It started the day before, when I'd reset my phone to factory defaults and reinstalled all my apps. That same day, I'd published two big online features that a lot of people were talking about. The next morning, we were late getting out of the house, so by the time my wife and I dropped the kid at daycare and went to the coffee shop, it had a long line. Rather than wait in line with me, my wife sat down to read a newspaper, and so I pulled out my phone and found a Twitter DM from a friend asking "is this you?" with a URL.
Assuming this was something to do with those articles I'd published the day before, I clicked the link and got prompted for my Twitter login again. This had been happening all day because I'd done that mobile reinstall the day before and all my stored passwords had been wiped. I entered it but the page timed out. By that time, the coffees were ready. We sat and chatted for a bit, then went our own ways.
I was on my way to the office when I checked my phone again. I had a whole string of DMs from other friends. Each one read "is this you?" and had a URL.
Oh, shit, I'd been phished.
If I hadn't reinstalled my mobile OS the day before. If I hadn't published a pair of big articles the day before. If we hadn't been late getting out the door. If we had been a little more late getting out the door (so that I'd have seen the multiple DMs, which would have tipped me off).
There's a name for this in security circles: "Swiss-cheese security." Imagine multiple slices of Swiss cheese all stacked up, the holes in one slice blocked by the slice below it. All the slices move around and every now and again, a hole opens up that goes all the way through the stack. Zap!
The fraudster who tricked me out of my credit card number had Swiss cheese security on his side. Yes, he spoofed my bank's caller ID, but that wouldn't have been enough to fool me if I hadn't been on vacation, having just used a pair of dodgy ATMs, in a hurry and distracted. If the 737 Max disaster hadn't happened that day and I'd had more time at the gate, I'd have called my bank back. If my bank didn't use a slightly crappy outsource/out-of-hours fraud center that I'd already had sub-par experiences with. If, if, if.
The next Friday night, at 5:30PM, the fraudster called me back, pretending to be the bank's after-hours center. He told me my card had been compromised again. But: I hadn't removed my card from my wallet since I'd had it replaced. Also, it was half an hour after the bank closed for the long weekend, a very fraud-friendly time. And when I told him I'd call him back and asked for the after-hours fraud number, he got very threatening and warned me that because I'd now been notified about the fraud that any losses the bank suffered after I hung up the phone without completing the fraud protocol would be billed to me. I hung up on him. He called me back immediately. I hung up on him again and put my phone into do-not-disturb.
The following Tuesday, I called my bank and spoke to their head of risk-management. I went through everything I'd figured out about the fraudsters, and she told me that credit unions across America were being hit by this scam, by fraudsters who somehow knew CU customers' phone numbers and names, and which CU they banked at. This was key: my phone number is a reasonably well-kept secret. You can get it by spending money with Equifax or another nonconsensual doxing giant, but you can't just google it or get it at any of the free services. The fact that the fraudsters knew where I banked, knew my name, and had my phone number had really caused me to let down my guard.
The risk management person and I talked about how the credit union could mitigate this attack: for example, by better-training the after-hours card-loss staff to be on the alert for calls from people who had been contacted about supposed card fraud. We also went through the confusing phone-menu that had funneled me to the wrong department when I called in, and worked through alternate wording for the menu system that would be clearer (this is the best part about banking with a small CU â you can talk directly to the responsible person and have a productive discussion!). I even convinced her to buy a ticket to next summer's Defcon to attend the social engineering competitions.
There's a leak somewhere in the CU systems' supply chain. Maybe it's Zelle, or the small number of corresponding banks that CUs rely on for SWIFT transaction forwarding. Maybe it's even those after-hours fraud/card-loss centers. But all across the USA, CU customers are getting calls with spoofed caller IDs from fraudsters who know their registered phone numbers and where they bank.
I've been mulling this over for most of a month now, and one thing has really been eating at me: the way that AI is going to make this kind of problem much worse.
Not because AI is going to commit fraud, though.
One of the truest things I know about AI is: "we're nowhere near a place where bots can steal your job, we're certainly at the point where your boss can be suckered into firing you and replacing you with a bot that fails at doing your job":
https://pluralistic.net/2024/01/15/passive-income-brainworms/#four-hour-work-week
I trusted this fraudster specifically because I knew that the outsource, out-of-hours contractors my bank uses have crummy headsets, don't know how to pronounce my bank's name, and have long-ass, tedious, and pointless standardized questionnaires they run through when taking fraud reports. All of this created cover for the fraudster, whose plausibility was enhanced by the rough edges in his pitch - they didn't raise red flags.
As this kind of fraud reporting and fraud contacting is increasingly outsourced to AI, bank customers will be conditioned to dealing with semi-automated systems that make stupid mistakes, force you to repeat yourself, ask you questions they should already know the answers to, and so on. In other words, AI will groom bank customers to be phishing victims.
This is a mistake the finance sector keeps making. 15 years ago, Ben Laurie excoriated the UK banks for their "Verified By Visa" system, which validated credit card transactions by taking users to a third party site and requiring them to re-enter parts of their password there:
https://web.archive.org/web/20090331094020/http://www.links.org/?p=591
This is exactly how a phishing attack works. As Laurie pointed out, this was the banks training their customers to be phished.
I came close to getting phished again today, as it happens. I got back from Berlin on Friday and my suitcase was damaged in transit. I've been dealing with the airline, which means I've really been dealing with their third-party, outsource luggage-damage service. They have a terrible website, their emails are incoherent, and they officiously demand the same information over and over again.
This morning, I got a scam email asking me for more information to complete my damaged luggage claim. It was a terrible email, from a noreply@ email address, and it was vague, officious, and dishearteningly bureaucratic. For just a moment, my finger hovered over the phishing link, and then I looked a little closer.
On any other day, it wouldn't have had a chance. Today â right after I had my luggage wrecked, while I'm still jetlagged, and after days of dealing with my airline's terrible outsource partner â it almost worked.
So much fraud is a Swiss-cheese attack, and while companies can't close all the holes, they can stop creating new ones.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to post about it whenever I get scammed. I find the inner workings of scams to be fascinating, and it's also important to remind people that everyone is vulnerable sometimes, and scammers are willing to try endless variations until an attack lands at just the right place, at just the right time, in just the right way. If you think you can't get scammed, that makes you especially vulnerable:

Sorry for the radio silence for quite a while! On top of the holidays, my visa interview at the embassy was a little while ago, so as you can imagine, I've been fairly busy preparing for it... But hey, it paid off!!
The past few years have had their fair share of trials and there's a few people who'll recognize themselves, who I wanna thank for all their patience and support. I also gotta apologize for everyone whose patience I've tested, and for all the buddies I'll get to see less often now because distance.
Overall though, I've had overwhelming support through this, more than I ever thought I'd get and more than I probably deserve, and it honestly helped a lot through what is overall a pretty damn difficult thing to get through. I'm so relieved right now and it's pretty great that that feeling is coming around for the festive season!
Now I'm off to enjoy that with my family while I'm close enough for it to be easy, and if anyone who knows me closely is reading this and wants to meet up before I leave France (which oughta be in April), hit me up ;)
#no one can know i don't like sex#special edition ig#life update#tw: sui thoughts#tw sui ideation#i am so sorry if i didn't tag that right#i'm happy to add any tag that would help if anyone would like to advise#either way sorry if that wasn't very savory#i wanted to be honest about the whole thing throughout tbh

As the early morning sunlight streamed through the large windows of your apartment, you stood in front of your full-length mirror, taking a deep breath as she surveyed her reflection. Today was the dayâthe day you would finally meet Rafe Cameron and discuss the terms of your marriage arrangement. The thought made your stomach flutter with a mix of excitement and anxiety.
Despite your bubbling personality, the pressure of the situation weighed heavily on your shoulders. You had spent the past few days steeling yourself for this moment, and now that it was finally here, the reality of it sent your heart racing.
You glanced at your closet, a vibrant array of outfits hanging neatly. You had planned to wear something that screamed âfabulousâ, but time was slipping away from you. You settled on a leopard-print strapless top, pairing it with a denim mini skirt. You slipped on your favorite black heels, which added just the right amount of height and made your legs longer. You grabbed your black Prada bag, a reminder of the success you had fought so hard to achieve.
Despite your nerves, you felt a surge of excitement. This meeting was a step forward resolving your visa issues, and you were determined to make the best of it. You wanted to present yourself as confident, someone who could hold your ownâespecially when facing someone like Rafe Cameron.
You slipped into the back seat of your private car, offering a quick nod to your driver, Gregory. As the engine purred to life, you felt your heart pounding in your ears, each beat amplifying the weight of anticipation.
When you arrived at the law office, your gaze immediately landed on Nicolas, your lawyer. He stood up from his chair and made his way over, exchanging small talk that felt oddly comforting amid the tension. Together, you entered the meeting room, where Rafe and his lawyer were already waiting for you.
Even seated, his presence dominated the space. His broad shoulders, casual posture, and confident smirk that made him look every bit the arrogant athlete you had read about. His lawyer, Sabrina Rashid, sat beside him, a sharply dressed woman who radiated professionalism. Rafe, on the other hand, looked annoyingly relaxed in a plain white t-shirt and black jeans.Â
Well, this made you look overdressed⊠Embarrassing, but you kept your head held high.
Nicolas gestured toward the table. âShall we?â
You slid into the chair opposite Rafe, offering a small nod to his lawyer before turning your attention to him. His blue eyes flickered over you, lingering longer than necessary. You could practically feel his ego inflate with every second.
âYouâre late,â he drawled, breaking the silence. His voice was as cocky as his expression.
You arched a brow, setting your Prada bag on the table with a soft thud. âHello to you tooâand youâre lucky I showed up at all, considering your reputation.â
He smiled. âFeisty. I like that.â
And so, you cringed at his words. You rolled your eyes, refusing to take the bait. âLetâs get to the point, shall we?â
Nico cleared his throat, clearly eager to steer the conversation to business. âYes, well, the purpose of todayâs meeting is to discuss the logistics of the marriage arrangementâspecifically, where youâll be living, financial obligations, and how this will be handled publicly.â
âPublicly?â you repeated, frowning slightly. âI thought this was supposed to be discreet.â
Rafe shrugged. âI donât do discreet, sweetheart.â
You shot him a glare. âI am not your sweetheart.â
âNot yet, but wait âtill weâre married.â
You blinked at him, caught off guard by his audacity, but recovered. âThis isnât going to be like that. Weâre not doing some fake, lovey-dovey routine for the press.â
Rafe leaned back in his chair, folding his arms over his chest. âWho said anything about love? Iâm talking about looking like a normal couple, someone the media canât tear apart every other week. Itâs all about appearances, sweetheart.â
âStop calling me sweetheart.â
âWhatever you say,â he grinned. âPlus, you gotta admit, you and I? Weâd be a headline every day, sweetheart.â
âIs he serioââ
Nico stepped in before you could respond. âAlright, enough. Letâs get back on track.â He glanced at Rafeâs lawyer, who nodded and opened a folder.
âFirst item on the agenda: where will you two be living?â Sabrina asked, her tone professional and no-nonsense. âGiven that this marriage is primary for legal purposes, we need to establish residency. For it to be legitimate, you will need to live together.â
You shot a look at Rafe, who was already smirking like heâd won some kind of silent argument. âIâm not moving in with him,â you said flatly.
âYou think Iâm thrilled about having a roommate? Especially one who probably spends hours in front of the mirror.â
You crossed your arms. âI do not.â
Lies.
âOh, please. Youâre a model. You probably have a different skincare for every day of the week.â
âAnd itâs supposed to be a bad thing becauseâŠ?â You frowned. âYou should take exemple. You look like you wash your face with body soap.â
Nico pinched the bridge of his nose. âLetâs focus, kids.â
Rafeâs lawyer continued, ignoring the banter. âYouâll need to appear as though youâre cohabiting. If not, immigration authorities will become suspicious, and the arrangement could fall apart.â
You narrowed your eyes at Rafe. âWhere do you live, anyway?â
He learned forward, resting his elbows on the table. âIâve got a place in SoHo. Penthouse. Nice view, great amenities. Itâs got plenty of space for you to do⊠whatever it is models do.â
âFunny, I have my place in the Upper East Side. And I am not giving it up.â
He raised an eyebrow. âUpper East Side, huh? Posh.â
âI earned it.â
âWell, weâll need to figure something out,â Sabrina interjected smoothly. âBut you need to live together. In one place.â
Rafe looked amused. âYou can have the closet space. Iâm a sweet guy like that.â
âHow generous,â you muttered, turning back to the lawyers. âFine. We can do the whole âliving in one place togetherâ thing. But I need time off, to stay at my place once in a while.â
Rafe winked. âWouldnât want to cramp your style.â
You ignored him. âWhat about finances? How is this going to work?â
Nico pulled out his own folder. âWeâve drafted a preliminary agreement outlining financial contributions from both parties. Itâs important that this marriage appears legitimate, so we suggest pooling certain expensesâutilities, rent or mortgage payments, and shared household costs. This can be done through a joint account, which will be monitored to ensure the marriage looks genuine.â
You could feel Rafeâs eyes on you, and you shot him a look. âA joint account? I hope youâre not expecting me to pay for your post-game drinks?â
He chuckled. âRelax. Iâve got more money than you can spend in a lifetime. The joint account is just for show. But if you want to chip in for groceries, I wonât stop you.â
âOh, how noble of you,â you replied dryly.
Nico glanced between you and Rafe, clearly trying to keep the conversation on track. âThis account will cover all necessary shared expensesâbills, groceries, and any incidentals that may arise from your living arrangements. Itâll help maintain the appearance of a genuine marriage.â
Sabrina nodded in agreement. âExactly. As for your individual assets, those will remain separate. No need to worry about your personal finances getting tangled up.â
You relaxed a little at that. âGood.â
âAnd what about public appearances?â Rafe asked, sounding surprisingly serious. âHow often do we need to do the whole âhappy coupleâ thing?â
Nico exchanged a look with Rafeâs lawyer. âYouâll need to be seen together frequently enough to make it believable, but not so much that it seems forced. A few key eventsâcharity galas, public outingsâwill suffice. Itâs important that you strike a balance.â
Rafe shrugged. âIâve got games, events, plenty of opportunities to be seen.â
You sighed. âI have shoots, fashion shows, and meetings. Weâre both busy.â
âSounds like weâll have to schedule our love life,â he quipped, flashing you a grin that made you want to throttle at him.
You gave him a sweet smile. âGood thing itâs not real.â
He laughed, and for a second, the tension in the room eased.
Nico shuffled his papers. âThereâs one more thing to discussâmedia coverage. Given that Mr. Cameron is already in the spotlight, itâs important to control the narrative.â
Sabrina continued; âWeâll need to issue a carefully crafted statement once the marriage is official. Something that explains how you met, why youâre together, and addresses any potential rumors before they can spiral out of control.â
âA public statement?â You cringed at the thought.
âItâs necessary,â Nico said. âIf this looks like a publicity stunt, it could raise red flags with immigration.â
Rafe leaned back in his chair, looking far too relaxed for the situation. âDonât worry, weâll make it believable. Iâm great with the media.â
âYeah, thatâs exactly what worries me,â you muttered.
He smirked. âCome on, sweetie. Weâll be the hottest couple in New York. Think of the headlines.â
âIâd rather not,â you moved your hands dismissively.
The lawyer continued discussing the finer details of the arrangementâcontract clauses, confidentiality agreements, and timelines. You zoned out for a moment, your eyes drifting back to Rafe. Despite his infuriating attitude, there was something about him. Something that made you feel like this might not be the worst decision after all.
âI hope youâre prepared for the spotlight,â he said suddenly, snapping you back to reality. âThe mediaâs gonna eat this up.â
You arched a brow. âPlease. Iâve been in the spotlight longer than you have, and with far less drama.â
He grinned. âWeâll see about that.â
You leaned forward, meeting his gaze head-on, the space between you suddenly charged. âIâm not one of your little fangirls, Rafe. You might charm the media, but youâre not charming me.â
His smirk faltered, just for a second, replaced by something darker, more intense. His gaze dipped, lingering on your exposed cleavage, heat flaring in his eyes. You felt a spark, your breath catching as your own eyes betrayed you, flickering to his lipsâpink, curved, and way too tempting for your liking. The air between you thickened, crackling with an unspoken challenge, the playful banter giving way to something far more dangerous.
Rafeâs tongue flicked out to wet his lips, and for a moment, you forgot where you were, the weight of his stare pulling you in. The thought of what it would feel like to wipe that cocky grin off his faceâor maybe even taste itâflickering through your mind.
But then Nico cleared his throat, shattering the moment like glass, and you quickly sat back, your heart racing as you wrenched your gaze away from Rafeâs.
âSo, we have a deal?â Rafe asked, cutting through the tension.
You glanced at Nico, who gave you a subtle nod of reassurance. With a deep breath, you turned to Rafe and extended your hand. âYes, we do.â
His hand clasped yours, warm and firm. âLooking forward to being your husband, sweetheart.â
âLooking forward to not being your wife,â you rolled your eyes, pulling your hand back. âThis is purely business. Donât get any ideas.â
âWhatever you say, wife.â
The next few days passed in a blur of contracts, legal jargon, and meetings with Nico, Sabrina, and Rafe. You had signed your life awayâwell, not really your life, but it certainly felt like it.Â
You were lounging in your Upper East Side apartment, scrolling through Instagram when your phone buzzed.
Rafe Cameron.
Just seeing his name made your stomach tighten with a mix of irritation and something else you couldnât quite place. Hesitantly, you opened the message.
Rafe: âWhen do you plan on moving in?â
You stared at the screen for a second before typing.
You: âIâm not even packed yet⊠what the hell.â
Rafe: âWhat you waiting for? Youâre not chickening out, are you, sweetheart?â
There it was againâsweetheart. That nickname got on your nerves, but you were determined not to let him get under your skin (although he already did).
You: âStop calling me that, and also I have a job and a life. I canât just drop everything to move into your stinky place.â
Rafe: âIâm offering help.â
You snorted at your phone. Right, because Rafe Cameron would actually help you pack your boxes.
You: âWhat are you gonna do? Carry my shoes for me?â
Rafe: âIf it gets you here faster, then sure. Iâll be here tomorrow.â
Your eyes widened. Was he serious? You couldnât picture Rafe Cameron, basketball star and all-around cocky jerk, standing in your apartment, packing boxes and loading them into a truck. The mental image alone was laughable.
You: âWait! No!â
Rafe: âWhy no? You need a few more days to decide on what to pick?â
You: âJerk.â
Rafe: ":)"
You: âAnd I canât move in yet. We need to make a public appearance and get married before I start packing and do all the move-in things.â
There was a pause before his response came through.
Rafe: âFair.â
You: âExcited to live with me, am I right?â
Rafe: âProjecting much?â
You: âYou wish.â
Rafe: âDitto, sweetheart.â
You rolled your eyes. You quickly clicked on the rolling eyes emoji as a response and threw your phone onto the couch, not wanting to keep talking to him.
The next morning, you blinked your eyes open, greeted by the familiar warmth of your apartment, and for a fleeting moment, you forgot about everything. The visage, the arrangement, the pressure, the stress, immigration, Rafe Cameronâall of it felt distant, like a strange dream.
But then reality settled back in.
You groaned softly, burying your face into your pillow for a second longer before sighing and throwing off the covers. Today was yet another meeting with the lawyers, and you already were over it.
You knew marriage was a lot of papers and documents, but you truly didnât think it was this much.
Swinging your legs over the side of the bed, you padded across the plush carpet to your closet, glancing at the outfits hanging neatly in a row. Usually, your first thought would be what designer outfit to wear today but you couldnât muster the energy to care this morning. Today wasnât about looking fabulous; it was about getting down to business, and you didnât care how you looked because youâd be stuck in a room for hours with two lawyers and your future husband.
Future husband⊠God, how weird was it to say that about a man you didnât even know.
Instead of focusing on it, you reached for a pair of soft gray sweatpants and a simple white tank top. You pulled a thick, cozy grey cardigan over your shoulders, its warmth a small comfort against the stress building in your mind.Â
As you made your way to the kitchen, your phone buzzed on the countertop, and for a moment, you thought it might be Rafe. But no, it was just a reminder from Nico about the meeting. You sighed, grabbed a cup of coffee, slipped into the backseat of your car and headed to the law office.
The law office was as sleek and imposing as everâpolished wood, glass walls, and the faint scent of coffee lingering in the air. You stepped into the conference room, finding Nicolas and Sabrina already seated at the table, a stack of papers in front of them. They looked up and offered polite smiles as you entered.
âMorning,â you said, taking a seat and smoothing the sleeves of your cardigan.
âMorning, Y/N,â Nico replied, his tone friendly but businesslike. âHowâre you feeling?â
You hesitated, offering a half-hearted smile. âA bit nervous and tired, I guess. But ready to get things moving.â
Nico nodded, glancing at the empty seat beside you before opening his mouth to speak, but Sabrina beat him to it.
âHello, Ms. Y/L/N, just to let you knowâRafe wonât be joining us today.â
Your heart sank, but you tried not to show it. âOh? Whyâs that?â
âLast-minute practice session,â she explained, her tone casual. âIt was unavoidable, apparently. He couldnât get out of it.â
You nodded slowly, processing the information. It wasnât that you were angryâjust⊠bothered. This was an important meeting, after all. Even though this marriage was fake, it still involved a lot of big decisions. Decisions you didnât feel comfortable making without him.
âOkay,â you said after a moment. âI guess weâll have to catch him up later, then.â
Sabrina gave you a sympathetic look. âIâll make sure heâs informed about everything. I know itâs frustrating, but Rafeâs schedule can be pretty unpredictable.â
âI get it,â you replied with a shrug, trying to convince yourself it wasnât that big of a deal. âItâs just... this is important, you know? It wouldâve been nice to have him here for this.â
âI understand,â Sabrina said gently. âAnd Iâll make sure heâs fully briefed on everything. Heâs committed to this, even if it doesnât always seem that way.â
You nodded, still feeling a bit unsettled but trying to brush it off. He was used to a chaotic schedule, and you couldnât expect him to drop everything for every meeting. But still... you couldnât shake the slight discomfort gnawing at you.
âOkay,â you said, trying to focus on the task at hand. âSo, whatâs the plan for today?â
Nico flipped through the stack of papers in front of him. âWeâve got a lot to cover. First off, the wedding itself. We need to finalize a date, and given your visa situation, weâre looking at a timeline of about three weeks.â
âThree weeks?!â you exclaimed, immediately covering your mouth with your hand. It was sooner than youâd expected, but you understood the urgency. âSorry.â
âItâs alright,â Nico said, waving his hands. âWe need to move quickly. The sooner the marriage is official, the sooner we can start the immigration process. And in the meantime, you and Rafe will need to be seen together publiclyâon dates, outings, and even social media.â
You chewed the inside of your cheek, feeling a little overwhelmed. âPublic appearances... right. How often are we talking?â
âEnough to make it believable,â Sabrina took over. âWe donât want to overwhelm you, but itâs important that youâre seen together frequently. A few key public outings, some posts on social mediaâitâll help establish the narrative that youâre a real couple.â
You nodded. âAnd Rafeâs on board with all of this?â
âHe is,â Sabrina reassured you. âWeâve discussed it, and he knows whatâs required.â
âOkay,â you said, feeling a bit more reassured but still uneasy. The idea of staging your life for the public was daunting. It wasnât just about attending a few events or posting picturesâit was about selling the image of a relationship that didnât exist. And with Rafe not even here for the planning, you couldnât help but feel a little disconnected from it all.
You smiled faintly. âIt just feels... strange, doing all of this without Rafe. I mean, I know itâs a fake marriage, but it would still be nice to have him involved, you know?â
âI understand,â Sabrina said. âItâs not ideal, but Rafeâs committed to this. His schedule is unpredictable right now, but that doesnât mean heâs not invested in making this work.â
You nodded, trying to take comfort in her words. Maybe Rafeâs absence wasnât a sign of disinterestâmaybe it was just bad timing.
Nico continued, flipping through the papers. âLetâs move on to the wedding itself. Have you given any thought to what kind of ceremony you want?â
âHonestly, I havenât thought about it at all.â
âAlright,â Nico said, nodding.
âA small ceremony,â you echoed, thinking it over. âIt⊠It could be nice, no? That could workâbut shouldnât Rafe have a say in this?â
âHe will,â Nico assured you. âMrs. Rashid will loop him in on everything. But for now, we need to focus on logistics. The venue, the guest list, the timelineâitâs all about making sure everything looks legitimate to immigration.â
âOkay. Letâs go with the small ceremony, then. But Iâd still like Rafeâs input before we make any final decisions,â you said softly, your cheeks warming slightly.
âOf course,â both lawyers said with a smile.
The conversation shifted to the finer detailsâthe venue, the guest list, the timing of public appearances. It felt more like planning an elaborate PR campaign than a wedding, but you tried to stay focused. Every decision was one step closer to securing your future, even if it didnât feel real.
The meeting felt like a marathon. You exhaled a long, tired sigh, your head spinning with wedding details and timelines. You couldnât help but glance at your phone again, half-expecting a message from Rafe. But there was nothing. He was at practice, wrapped up in whatever game plan his team was working on.
You adjusted the strap of your tote bag and pulled your cardigan tighter around yourself as you headed for the door. But as you opened it, you stopped short, nearly walking straight into someone standing just outside.
âWhoaââ A familiar voice interrupted your thoughts, and you blinked up to see Rafe Cameron standing there, leaning against the doorframe, as if he had been waiting for you.
âRafe?â you blurted out, surprise laced in your voice. You hadnât expected him to be here, especially after Sabrina said he wouldnât make it.
He straightened up quickly, looking just as startled as you. âY/N⊠uh, hey. Iâuh, Iâm sorry I missed the meeting,â he stammered, his usual confident demeanor slipping for a moment. âI couldnât miss practiceâŠâ
You stood there, momentarily frozen. It wasnât like him to stutterâand it threw you off. âOh⊠right. Yeah, no, itâs fine, donât worry. Sabrina said you had practice,â you said, trying to brush off the awkwardness.
He shifted his weight, his hands sliding into his pockets. âYeah, I, uh⊠tried to make it, but, you know⊠basketball.â
You nodded slowly, still surprised that he had actually shown up. âWell, the meetingâs over. Sabrina said sheâll catch you up on what we discussed.â
âRight, yeah, Iâll talk to her,â he mumbled.
âYeah, so... goodbye?â
âGoodbye,â he said, looking down at the floor for a second before glancing back at you. There was a brief, awkward silence that stretched between the two of you. Neither of you moved, though you werenât sure why.
Finally, Rafe cleared his throat, and his gaze flickered over your outfit. A slow smirk crept onto his face, his familiar cockiness returning. âSo... whatâs with the sweatpants and cardigan? Didnât know you had it in you to dress so casually.â
You blinked at him, caught off guard by the teasing tone. âExcuse me?â
He shrugged, his smirk widening. âJust saying... itâs not exactly the runway look I was expecting from a supermodel.â
You felt a laugh bubble up in your throat before you could stop it. âYouâre one to talk, Mr. I-show-up-in-a-T-shirt-to-a-business-meeting,â you shot back, your lips curving into a smile.
Rafeâs eyes lit up slightly, surprised by your reaction. It was the first time you had actually laughed at something he said, and for a moment, he just stared at you, taking in the sound. Cute, he thought to himself, the word slipping into his mind unbidden.
âAt least my T-shirt was designer. This,â he flicked his gaze over your cardigan, âlooks like something you stole from your grandmaâs closet.â
You gasped, feigning offense. âI happen to like this cardigan, thank you very much. Itâs cozy.â
He grinned. âCozy, is it? Guess youâre preparing for the life of domestic bliss weâre about to have. How cute.â
You shook your head, fighting another smile. âFunnyâlike you even know the meaning of domestic bliss.â
He tilted his head, his smirk never faltering. âWho says I donât? I could be all about the cozy life. You donât know me.â
You arched a brow. âReally? You? In sweatpants, lounging on a couch, binge-watching Netflix?â
âI can be a homebody if I want to,â he said, shrugging, though the teasing glint in his eyes told you he wasnât being serious. âGive me some credits, alright? I can rock sweatpants.â
âIâll believe it when I see it.â
âMaybe you will. Youâll be living with me soon enoughââ you froze slightly at that reminder, and your smile wavered. He noticed the shift and cleared his throat. âAnyway, Iâll make sure to show up to the next meeting. Promise.â
You gave him a small nod, still smiling. âYouâd better.â
He nodded, and for the first time since youâd met, there was no teasing in his expressionâjust quiet understanding. You gave him one last look before heading down the hall, feeling the warmth of your laugh still lingering in the air between you.
And Rafe stood there watching you walk away, thinking about how cute your laugh wasâand how much he wanted to hear it again.

Navamsa/D9 Observations 4
Accuracy influenced by ENTIRE d9 chart AND natal/langa.
For full accuracy, you MUST read alongside lagna. If not promised in lagna, it will not happen. Navamsa confirms and denies the strengths + lasting effects of lagna predictions
Jupiter in 12th
Husband may be from a different ethnicity, religion or country. OR it may be that they are simply from a different city/province or you meet far from the homeland.
You can spend a lot after marriage and/or later in life. You can desire luxury. Possible examples: First class flights not regular, expensive home, designer bags/watches, etc.
You can desire an intelligent spouse. You will not find an immature person attractive.
You can be generous with this placement. You may donate, volunteer, or simply tip big. You can bless people later in life without realizing it.
Moon in 12th
Strong intuition. You can pick up things that truly shock people. EX: Someone lies, you call them out and intuitively guess the truth, the person is shocked they believe someone else must have told you the truth, there is no way you could have known that.
You can deal with stomach or menstrual problems. You may become bloated easily.
You can have conflict in the workplace. You could find romance in the workplace. Or rumours that you are involved in romance in the workplace.
You can be very compassionate. Depending on sign, you may or may not express it. EX: Aqua moon, you will be empathetic but people may believe you are cold and unfeeling.
You can enjoy quiet alone activities - reading, writing, meditation, yoga, etc.
Your marriage will be deeply passionate. You can cry and feel overwhelmed due to your love for your partner. You are deeply connected and in love.
Sun in 12th
This is an indicator for having good support from your in-laws. However, you may leave behind your own family especially the father. This can be due to conflict or you move further away. You can fight with your father over money at some point in life too.
You are highly likely to live far away from homeland. This doesn't mean you're destined to live in like NYC or London. However, if you work for it that may be the case. But more likely, you simply move further away from homeland like across the country. If you do stay in homeland, you may experience poor mental health. Your soul desires to explore.
This placement is a BIG indicator of paying lots of money to the government. This can be for many reasons - possible examples: You move to a new country, you must pay for visas and fees. Or you become very wealthy, thus you will pay a lot in tax.
Bad manifestation, you pay fees or fines as you get in legal trouble. For more insight search which house is in Leo - ex: 4th H leo + Sun in 12th = You could pay high tax on the home. 6th Leo + Sun in 12th = Medical bills or Work visa or pets or buying expensive everyday products for the home.
Accuracy will depend on ENTIRE chart. This post isn't taking into consideration any aspects, where 12th H ruler is, and the most important the natal/langa.
One thing to be aware of is: Sun is the natural 5th House ruler, 5th H is romance. Sun in the 12th H indicates after marriage and/or later in life, one may feel romance is lost as 12th H deals with losses. To reactivate romance, you must move or travel together. Becoming routined and predictable is very likely but easy fix to that issue is try new things/explore new things.
Rahu in 3rd House
You or the spouse exaggerate in communication. For ex: You guys are watching shark tank, you casually say "I'm going to start a business" - however, you never do because truly your soul has no desire for it.
Or you exaggerate how great the spouse is to people. This doesn't mean the spouse isn't great but when talking to someone else you will only discuss the spouse's best traits. You want others to think you have the best life/marriage.
Rahu creates illusions. You can attempt to convince others or yourself the marriage/spouse is someone they're not. EX: You always wanted a spouse who would be spontaneous and adventurous. In reality, your spouse could be a homebody and rarely likes going out. You could drag the spouse out the house on your ideal adventure - maybe a roadtrip or hike or camping - the spouse hates it but you'll take a happy photo and/or tell people it was so fun and exciting.
The worst manifestation of this placement would be exaggerating so much you're lying. It could trouble the marriage. EX: You constantly take photos of yourself & the spouse for social media. This begins to irritate your spouse. They don't like how obsessed you are with proving you have a good life to your friends and family. This leads to conflict.
If harshly placed, you can find rumours about you, your spouse and unfortunately even your children. These rumours can be due to social media, your own aunts/uncles, siblings & friends.
If well placed, this shows furthering your education after marriage and/or later in life. You could go back to university, you could teach yourself how to play an instrument. You could become interested in an academic topic. There are many ways to become educated, these are a few examples.
That is simply an example. Accuracy will depend on entire chart and especially we have to consider the natal/langa for the full story.
Mercury in 4th House
These people tend to have library, studies and/or offices in their home.
Lots of movement when it comes to home. You can constantly be moving or constantly have people coming over. possible examples: you have many events/holidays at your home, you often invite in-laws or your own family to the home, you have pets, you workout from home.
You can become very good at managing in the home. You know when to rebuy things, you know when kids need to be picked up/dropped off. You can be in charge of controlling these types of tasks.
If afflicted, the spouse can reveal too much about the home life. ex: they tell their friends or family something you wish they'd kept private. The spouse isn't likely to be doing this to be mean, they may simply talk too much.
Venus in 11th House
People may really support your marriage. This can manifest as a joyful wedding party and/or love/support from both sides of family. If afflicted, this can change. for ex: if venus is conjunct sun in 11th navamsa - this can show courthouse marriage, no ceremony, not feeling the desire to do a traditional wedding, etc.
After marriage and/or later in life, you dislike working for other people. You may want to work for yourself. However, this is not the strongest indicator of business ownership.
You will make many friends after marriage. They can be very helpful to you. They are likely to be from different background than you - religion, ethnicity or country or even work/industries.
If you have an older sister, she may be helpful to you later in life. This could be a literal gift or advice. However, check aspects and signs, sometimes it may be conflict that occurs. EX: 11th H Ruler in 8th, your relationship is distant.
You can gain a lot, you can have a nice home, nice cars, nice clothing. However, see if venus is placed well, sometimes this is overspending.
Mars in 11th House
You can cut off friendships after marriage and/or later in life. You can become a social climber - only wanting friendship if it helps you gain status.
Sometimes when placed in connection to saturn (even though mars is exalted in cap), the person can become deeply selfish disregarding their family, their spouse - basically everyone is second to themselves. They prioritize money and gains. ex: getting an inheritance from a parent, you find a way to keep it for yourself even though you know it should be divided amongst your siblings.
On the bright side, your in-laws can be a good support to you. They can be kind and helpful to you. This is only one indicator tho. Check 8th House and 8th House ruler placement for more info on spouse's family.
Mars can want to fight for causes too. If not fighting with people you can fight FOR people. You can become interested in social movements, politics, charities, etc.
If exalted in cap and/or placed with benefic planets, this is an indicator for gaining through marriage. Later in life and/or after marriage, you can be motivated to work/increase income. EX: You can start a business, you can go back to school to advance career, you can become smarter with money/finances. This may be due to the spouse's expertise or simply you mature naturally.
Ketu in 9th House
Late marriage indicator. You can be very specific with what you want, you're attracted to very few people.
Disconnect with the father.
If harshly placed, you can be cheated out of inheritance due to family members.
Check entire chart d9 & natal for full accuracy.
11th Ruler in 8th House
Poor relationship with elder sibling is likely.
You keep friendships and social network secret. You may rarely post or discuss who youâre connected with socially. This can be due to many reasons depending on entire chart.
Your friends can be deep thinkers. They like to get to the root of the problem. They may discuss theories with you. They are not afraid to discuss the taboo.
You can gain through hidden things - ex: law work, psych or counselling work, earning through oil because it is literally hidden underground.
You may keep your gains hidden. ex: couple doesnât tell family or anybody how much money they have. they donât care to show off. they donât want family to ask for help. this is just an example tho.
Depending on if the ruler is well placed in the 8th, you could experience ups and downs with your gains. You suddenly lose, you suddenly gain. Be cautious of gambling and other reckless money choices.
Ex: Saturn is ruler of 11th placed in 8th = This suggests a steady but slow rise. Itâs less likely you experience ups and downs unless you try to rush or cheat saturn. A long life is likely.
Mercury in 8th House
The spouse isnât likely to bring wealth into the marriage. However, they are an asset in making money together. They can be good at budgeting. They can be good at closing deals.
The couple will be secretive in communication. You wonât like to sharw what youâre talking about with anybody. Neither person goes repeating the convo to their family or friends. You keep your plans and secrets private.
However, this placement brings in gossip. People will have negative assumptions about you due to rumours. This is even more likely if Mercury is in scorpio 8th H. You guys are so private, people basically just stuff making stuff about you guys. Or you find out people are gossiping and then become private as a result.
You can have to interact with one anotherâs families a lot. You may be social and attend many events. You may genuinely enjoy spending time with families. You or spouse may feel forced as one person does enjoy it while the other does not. Your in-laws are not afraid to voice their opinions with this placement.
5th Ruler in 9th &/or Rahu in 9th
These are often in the charts of people who convert to a religion to marry their spouse.
This is not always the outcome. Entire d9 and marla needs to be taken into consideration.
Sun in 11th House
These people are very devoted to the spouse and children. They make sure spouse and kids are okay before thinking about themselves.
These people often end up the main provider for the family after marriage. They can make more than spouse. The spouse may stop working later in life. Or they have main control over money management - ex: you both work but you do the taxes. If you do not like supporting the spouse financially, this can lead to problems.
Another ex: Sun in Libra (debilitated) in 11th H navamsa - this person has many divorce indicators in D1 and D9. For them, they divorced and naturally spent the later half of their life as the sole provider for their household. This is another way being the breadwinner can manifest with sun in 11th navamsa placement.
You can have many friends later in life. However, some are likely to try to be snakes.
You can gain high status amongst your social circles and career. Depending on aspects and signs, people may be intimidated by your status and you will have a small circle.
Accuracy influenced on ENTIRE natal and d9. The d9 canât be read without the natal.
Jupiter in 11th House
This suggests you will gain through your own mother after marriage and/or later in life.
This is an indicator for more sons than daughters.
You can have educated friends/social circle. Friends from many different backgrounds. You may have many friends. You can be fortunate in your friend group.
You can desire a big home. The children can add to your gains.
Rahu in 12th House
You will travel and experience a lot of different cultures after marriage and/or later in life.
When you are travelling, you are likely to have unique experiences. You will not have the casual tourist experience. You can meet people - not necessarily romantically - that are very interesting.Â
You can gain popularity in foreign places.Â
The negative side is this is one indicator of addiction issues. However, it is only one indicator so it will not always manifest as that. The positive manifestation of this is you could use that desire to escape to meditate, workout your body, get lost in your work, etc.
Rahu in 12th makes divorce unlikely imo. But if divorce was to occur, it would be very difficult to finalize. Examples I have seen: Spouse refuses to sign divorce papers, couple continues to go back and forth on whether they actually want divorce.Â
Accuracy dependent on entire chart.
Venus in 12th House
Marrying someone from a different background is likely. This can be someone from a different religion, country or ethnicity.
Spouse is likely to become/or be religious. For men Venus is the wife, for woman Venus is you as a wife, so you can become religious.
Your or the spouse can have wasteful spending or eating habits. This doesnât mean youâll go broke due to bad money choices. EX: You or the spouse collect an item. You or the spouse buy an item you already like a sofa in a new style just because.
You can have many friends from different backgrounds. You can have a connection with the Middle East. You could have friends who are religious.
Venus conjunct Rahu in 12th
Rahu amplifies the sign and planets in touches. The description of Venus In 12th is amplified. There are pros and cons to this as rahu is a malific.Â
Ascpects, sign and 12th H ruler can change the accuracy.
 Rahu is obsessive too. This can make someone very obsessed with Venus things such love, beauty, money. The negative of this is you can experience partners who have love affairs. The positive of this would be the spouse is devoted to the wife (Venus).
In 12th, you can be obsessed with foreign cultures/places. You can strongly desire moving to foreign land. Depending on how motivated a person is, moving to a foreign place is likely after marriage and/or later in life.
KEEP IN MIND FOR THESE PREDICTIONS:
When something isnât promised in natal, it will not happen. The D1 shows the sky you were born under, no other chart has power over D1.

Miami GP
Part 1 - Wish you could stay.
Part 2 link
Lando and Y/N are fwb, so a lot of smut, slight angst, and of course part 2 will be THE WIN, which I'm still not over!! Someone pinch me! If you have any requests for what I should include please leave a comment!
Warmings - smut, unprotected sex, p in v, female/male head, swearing.
Miami GP. One of the most exciting races of the season. Being an F1 influencer and social media persona, this was once of the races in the year that had so much hype built around it. From the celebrities, to the many events unfolding before the actual race, it wasn't one to miss. This time you'd been invited by Charlotte Tilbury to campaign for the F1 Academy Race, and you couldn't have had a prouder moment - rooting for the girls!
You'd arrived yesterday and went straight into an event with the girls of the F1 Acedemy as well as some of the girlfriends of the drivers.
This morning you were woken up by a message by none other than Lando Norris. You were friendly with a lot of the drivers and their partners, but Lando was special to you. You instantly shared a bond and six months ago, things changed. You became friends with benefits. Of course you were always aware of your lingering crush on Lando, and you often got inclines from him that he felt the same way, but you both were too scared to risk your friendship. So you chose the next best thing - getting close to each other without feelings - or so you thought.
Being in a situation-ship like this with Lando was exhilarating. He was one of the most handsome people you'd known, and he was ever the gentleman, Except for when he fucked you ;) He was fun, and cocky, and boy did he know how to make you feel good. And vise-visa - you made him feel equally as good and there were days when you couldn't go a day without being joined by the hip. You simply couldn't get enough of each other.
One rule though - just sex. No sleeping over. No spending the night. It was down to business and then leave.
That was the part that was becoming harder and harder with each passing day. Watching him get up and leave after giving you the most intoxicating orgasms, and then meeting the next day around friends pretending nothing was going on.
You'd last seen Lando two weeks ago in Monaco - the only thing getting you spending two weeks apart were your regular face-time hookups. Him telling you how down and dirty he would get on you if you were together, and you telling him how you'd get him off.
So - back to today. You read his text :
Lan <3
''Touchdown in Miami baby. When am I seeing you?''
You couldn't help but smile at his message. Your body has been aching for his touch since you last saw him, but at the same time you just missed being around him.
You replied :
''Staying at the same hotel babe. Room 402. Waiting for you''
And you attached a picture of you in bed, clearly naked.
''Fuck me'' was the reply you got.
''Trust me, I plan to'' you smiled to yourself and to replied back.
Not more than 30 minutes later and there was a knock at your door.
You'd just come out of the shower so were still wrapped in just your towel when you went to open the door.
''Fuck Y/N, trying to kill me?'' he smirked, pushing you back inside and then suddenly lifting you up and crashing the pair of you onto your bed.
You clung onto his curls, giggling, and pulled him down to your lips. You honestly could make out with him forever.
It was quickly getting heated. You opened your mouth to let him slide his tongue in when you sucked on it. Teeth were clashing. Bruises surely being left at how rough you both were being.
To Lando - he was distracting you and took this as an opportunity to rid your body of your towel.
The cool air instantly hardened your nipples as Lando took them between his fingers and pinched them, earning a moan from you.
''Missed that pretty sound baby'' he cooed as he now took one of your nipples in his mouth and sucked on it.
Your hands found his curls and pulled at them, silently begging him for more.
''Lan, please'' you breathed. ''Need more. Need you in me. Fuck please'' you whined.
He hadn't even touched your cunt yet and you were already begging for more.
''Y/N, we have the whole morning. Let me show you how much I've missed you and you pussy.
''Fuck'' was all you could mutter. Lando's dirty talk always did a number on you and got you dripping with want.
He lowered his body some more, spreading your legs wide open and kissing and licking a trail up your inner thighs.
''Fuck, Lando. Please!'' you all but screamed. You needed to feel him, now!
''Fucking hell'' he muttered. And he dove straight in. His tongue finding your clit, sucking and biting at it, giving you no time to comprehend the fact that he was finally giving you some relief.
''Shit, Y/N, so wet for me already. Can't get enough of tasting your delicious juices.'' he muttered, his tongue not giving you a chance to even think of a reply.
He soon added one, then two finger straight into your cunt. He for sure knew just how to curl them to hit the right spot. The one that had you putty in his arms. Trembling and letting out moans you were sure people over the wall could hear.
You could feel your stomach start to tighten and your walls start to clench around his fingers as he continued his slaughter with his mouth.
''Can tell you're getting close baby, go on'' he barely audibly said as you felt yourself come crashing down. Your orgasm rippling through your body as your warm juices released straight into Lando's mouth.
Your body felt limb, but Lando didn't slow his movements. This time he added a third finger into play, and as much as you loved his fingers, you still were aching to feel his cock fill you up.
''Please Lando, need to feel you in me. Please'' you begging him again.
''Fuck, angel, come here'' he said as he removed his fingered from your cunt, quickly took off his clothes, and sat against the headboard.
''Want you to ride me, please'' he begged you in return.
Lando took his painfully hard dick in his hands and pumped himself a few times, using his hand that was still slick with your juices.
You crawled up to him and sat on your knees, bending over his body. Not that you needed more lube, because you were soaking wet, but you dripped some of your spit directly on his dick. This time he was the one to moan as if his life depended on it.
You climbed onto him and pulled him in for a needy kiss. You could taste yourself as you started grinding yourself on his thigh.
''Y/N, you're incredible. The things you do to me'' he hissed so he lifted you up slightly so you could sink down on him.
As he filled you up with his whole dick, you both stayed still, giving you time to adjust to his length. He was bigger than average, and as much as you loved his cock, the first push always stung.
But soon the pleasure took over the pain, and you stared to move. Up and down. Pulling at his curls as his mouth found your boobs again and began sucking on your nipples.
''Oh my god, Lan, yes, fucking missed riding you like this. Making me feel so good. Shit'' you managed to say between breaths.
''You're so hot on face-time, but fuck me being with you like this is the best feeling ever.'' he groaned while still licking and sucking your nipples.
He started lifting himself up, meeting you half way. Slamming into you so hard you actually were seeing stars. He was reaching all the right places in your cunt and by now both of your moans were so vulgar that if people were walking past your room it must have sounded like a live porno was happening.
''Fuck Lando I'm going to cum'' and before you could even finish your sentence your orgasm came on so violently your whole body was shaking in Lando's arms.
He held you and continued searching for his own release.
''Where do you want me?'' he asked, breathlessly.
''In me, please'' you managed to whisper. Too dazed to put effort into anything you were saying.
Not a second later and Lando emptied his warm liquids in your pussy, filling you up to the brink.
As he slowed his movements he pulled you impossibly closed and hugged you tight, his dick slowly softening in you.
''Please can we just stay like his forever?'' you cooed.
He gave you a giggle and said ''you don't have to ask me twice, fucking hell. I have no words'' he said as he gently kissed you, tongue exploring your mouth as if searching for diamonds.
You don't know how long the pair of you stayed in that position. Could have been 3 minutes, could have been 30. But you needed to clean up.
You really wished that this could be forever. That he wouldn't get up and leave in a few minutes. But reality came crashing down.
As Lando pulled himself out of you you couldn't help but whimper that the loss of contact.
He quickly went to get a warm cloth to wipe you down and started putting his clothes on. While you sat there, shamelessly staring at his toned body which you just wanted to pull back into bed.
There was a sudden shift of energy in the room. Awkward almost.
''See you tonight? Planning a dinner with the guys and whoever is here'' he asked.
''Yeah, sounds good. Send me the details'' you smiled.
He got up after putting his shoes back on and reached over to give you one more quick kiss on your lips before he was out the door.
''Fuck'' you thought to yourself. ''I really am in too deep now.''
The day again was filled with multiple events and lots of food and drinks. Despite the post-sex awkwardness from this morning, Lando still regularly texted you throughout the day. At one point - he was sexting with you too. You couldn't help but flush your cheeks at his forwardness. he was getting you horny all over again.
Lan <3
''Can't wait to fill you up again tonight.'' ''Fuck, can't wait to taste you again.'' ''Can't wait to feel you clench around me again.''
You were done for. You couldn't concentrate on anything now. All you wanted to do was drag Lando back to bed.
''Fuck me Lando, stop teasing. Can't function now. All I can think about is your cock.'' you replied quickly.
''Oh yeah? Want me to fuck you senseless tonight?'' he cheekily replied.
''Yes please, desperate to feel to you fill me up again.''
This was going to be a long afternoon.
Finally as the days' events finished, you had about an hour until meeting Lando and the others for dinner.
You decided on a cotton tight white dress that showed off your ass and boobs perfectly. You knew where the night was going so you didn't wear any underwear - it wouldn't have looked nice anyways.
Just as you were finishing your makeup you phone rang. Of course it was him.
''Lan'' you answered.
''Hey babe, I''m running late, just got back to the hotel so come to my room to chill if you're ready. Leaving the door unlocked.''
Before you could even reply he put the phone down.
''Okay'' you thought to yourself. ''That wasn't weird.''
Anyways, you quickly finished you makeup and 15 minutes later you entered Lando's room.
You immediately knew he was in the shower as you heard the water running. It took everything in you to try to NOT picture him right now. Naked. Beautiful and sexy body on display. Cock spring free and throbbing, hopefully for your cunt.
''Fuck'' you though to yourself.
You tried to keep yourself busy on your phone but it wasn't helping.
Eventually you heard the water turn off and you weren't surprised when he walked out of the bathroom butt-naked.
''Hello'' he smiled innocently at you, walking towards you and pecking your cheek.
It was a few seconds before you greeted him back, too engulfed in his body no, his hard dick dancing around.
You cleared your throat. ''Hey Lan'' you tried to act causal.
''How was your day'' you eventually managed, trying to distract yourself from the dirty thoughts filling your mind.
''Ummmm, started off pretty well'' he winked at you. ''Then was boring as shit, meetings and all.'' he said as he began putting his shirt on. Cock still on display.
You were going to break - you couldn't hold it in anymore.
''Fuck Lando! What are you trying to do to me? Walking around like that. You're driving me fucking crazy and we haven't even been to dinner yet!'' you exclaimed.
''Haha, knew it wouldn't take you long to brake. Come here'' he said pulling you up.
He hugged you as tight as he could before he started leaving open-mouthed kisses along your neck.
''You'll have to suffice my lips right now, and if you behave, you can get my dick after dinner.''
You scoffed at that. ''If I behave? Remind me what you couldn't wait for earlier?'' you smirked at him.
''Whatever'' he said as his cheeks flushed pink.
He distracted you again by kissing you. Deep and hard, as if his life depended on it.
''Let's get this dinner over with so we can get back to business.''
You went down to the lobby of the hotel separately. None of your friends knew about the fact that the two of you wear having sex. The only person who did was Carmen, George's girlfriend. But you both practically threatened her with silly things if she told anyone, even George. There was no way things would be easy if everyone found out. Plus you liked having your own little bubble.
Dinner was not eventful to say the least. It was fun catching up with the girls but you really couldn't wait to be in the taxi going back to the hotel.
At some point during the dinner, Lando found himself next to you, pretending to talk about something important, but really just whispering filth in your ear.
''Please, let's go'' you practically begged him.
After a while he made up the excuse that you weren't feeling well and that he was going to take you back to the hotel.
It was a miracle no one batted an eyelid as you said your goodbyes.
His lips were on yours as soon as you were in the taxi.
No talking the whole ride - just wandering hands and tongue on tongue. Eventually, the taxi driver cleared his throat to alert you that you were back at the hotel.
''Cheers'' Lando told him before practically dragging you to your room.
As soon as the door was closed, Lando took your dress in his hands and ripped it apart.
''LANDO!'' you all but screamed.
''Sorry babe, but I needed it off. I'll buy you a new one. Fuck no underwear?'' he asked with wide eyes, gaping at your boobs and cunt.
''No underwear'' you repeated as you sunk down on your knees before him.
''Fuck, wait let me sit down.''
He guided you to the sofa and undid his belt before you pulled his jeans and boxers down in one go.
His cock sprang out and hit his stomach, pre-cum already dripping from it.
You got on your knees again and took him into your hands.
Pumping him a few times, spreading his pre-cum around.
''Please Y/N'' he begged. ''Been wanting to feel your lip around me all day along.'' he begged again.
Although you wanted to tease him, the ache between your legs was growing impatient.
So you took the tip of him between your lips, and sucked, so hard that his legs started to shake.
'Oh my god, gonna be the end of me, you are'' you said in between moans.
You then took as much of him as you could, as your hands started pumping what you couldn't fit in. You weren't holding back now. Bobbing your head, while Lando's hands found your hair and held it out of your way.
''That's it. Keep going Y/N. Taking my girth so well. Not gonna last long.'' he muttered between breathes.
You were starting to gag now. Tears stinging the corners of your eyes. But you were determined to taste him, so you kept going until he was all but screaming you name full of praises and you felt his warm cum spill to the back of your throat.
''Shit, that mouth of yours. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Best mouth I've ever had.'' he said pulling up to sit on his lap to kiss you again.
You started grinding your ass on his thighs, just as you did this morning, until he scooped you up and carried you to the bed.
Before you could comprehend what was happening, Lando had you on all fours, lining his dick up at your entrance.
He pushed in slowly, allowing you to adjust again.
''Faster, please, go all out'' you begged him.
Finally, he picked up his pace, slamming into you from behind, grunting and praising how good you felt. How your walls clenched around his cock.
''Yeah baby, just like that. Being my whore. Wish you would be my whore forever.''
You both were too blissed out and breathless to even think of what Lando said. All you could think about was how good he was fucking you right now.
''Yes Lan, fuck me harder, please, harder.''
Then suddenly he pulled out and turned you around. He was on top of you this time. Pounding into you, not getting enough.
His lips found homage on your boobs as his hands found yours and intertwined them together.
You could feel the warmth start to build up in your stomach, legs beginning to shake. ''Gonna cum babe?'' he asked as he felt your walls start to clench almost painfully around his dick.
With no warning you came around him. Gushes if warm liquid even spilling out of you.
By now you couldn't form any words so you simply just nodded, and your moans reached new heights.
''Too much Lando, can't take it.'' you groaned.
''Yes you can. Look at me. You can cum again for me, can't you?''
And how could you say no to him when he was looking at you like that?
''Fuck, go on'' you hissed as you felt him quicken his pace again, clearly chasing his own orgasm as well.
Once again both of your moans were so obscene it was brilliant. In seconds he had you cumming all over again.
You could feel his movements getting sloppier by the second. âWant to taste you again, pleaseâ you begged him.
Straight away he pulled out of you and shoved his dick in your mouth. Immediately had you gagging and tearing up but you wouldnât have it any other way.
âFuck fuck fuck Y/N yes, oh yesâ he moaned as he emptied his spill to the back of your throat.
His body went limb and so he let his weight fall on you. Curls stuck to his forehead because of the sweat. You held onto him for dear life. Eyes prickling because of the stimulations but also because of your want of more from him.
You pressed your lips to his in a soft and sloppy manner. How you wished you really could stay like this the whole night.
Suddenly it was awkward again. None of you knowing what to say to each other. This was very weird. There was never a moment even in your friendship when things were as awkward as this.
As always, Lando cleaned you up and was walking out of your door within minutes. You wished you could run after him and pull him back in, never let him go. But you couldnât. That was just a fantasy you longed for.
The next few days passed in a blur. Both of you busy with events and meetings and so on. When you were together with friends, things still felt weird. You couldnât make out what was wrong. But you still hooked up every night - nothing would stop your two bodies coming together for nights on undeniably passionate sex.
Finally though, it was race day đ
Authors note - hope you guys enjoyed this. I am still reeling from the win-canât stop smiling! Who else still feels like this? Also, enjoy these pics, because I couldnât not bless your tl with them đ§Ą

Solar Return Observations- Part 1
Having a sagittarius ascendant is a strong sign of starting college. (I had this the year I started my bachelor's and all of my friends had this as well the year they went to college. My sister had it when she started her bachelor's)
If you are not in an already well established relationship then don't have sex when neptune is in 8th.
The year in which you have a 1st house stellium and vertex in 7th will be when you meet a lot of people that are going to be important for self development. You will finally learn to put yourself before others. I personally think that it's a great combination to have. (you will meet both good and bad people)
You will study a lot when vertex is in 9th house. (my sister and her friends, in their last year of college, bachelor's, they ALL had this placement, it was so fascinating to see. They had to look for jobs after that, so they were putting in extra effort)
Jupiter in 11th in cancer is THE BEST, you will feel so loved by your friends, you guys are gonna have so much fun. (I loved my life that year)
Uranus in 9th means unexpected but also SUDDEN travel. (the year that my sister went to Canada for her bachelor's, her session was starting on 7th September and her student visa got approved on 29th October, we had literally lost all hope. Everything was so chaotic)
Moon conjunct neptune indicates an emotionally heavy year. The house that it's in will tell the area where you'll be feeling sad. (I would like to put an example but it's too personal, and I don't wanna share)
Moon conjunct mercury in 4th house can be SOOOOO healing, especially if you do not have a good relationship with your parents. You will finally talk about your feelings with your parents. If the relationship is good then you will become even closer to them. (when I had this, I had so many discussions with my mom, and she told me so much about herself that I didn't know before, it really brought us closer)
Jupiter in 3rd house can help you become more social. As an introvert, this was the year when I finally started feeling more comfortable talking to strangers.
7th house stellium in pisces... Bro, I was OBSESSED with soulmate meditations during the year. If neptune is there as well, then forget about getting anything done, you will be too busy daydreaming about your Mr/Mrs right.

Previous Chapter
Chapter Two:
You sigh as you take in the barren state of your room. All that was left was boxes and your suitcases. Your mom is going to send the rest of your belongings after you arrive in Amsterdam. You were sad to leave your childhood home and your parents but, excited to see what the future holds. Especially now that you have a very sweet Alpha taking care of you. As much as you hate to admit it, your inner Omega has longed for this day. You still couldn't shake the nerves of moving to a completely different country. The AOMO assisted you with your visa which was easy to get approved for. Countries were more lenient with citizenship when it came to obtaining a mate. You haven't seen König in about a week. He went back to Amsterdam to prepare for your arrival. A knock sounded at your door before it opened.Â
âYou ready?â Your Dad asked, moving to grab your suitcases for you.Â
âYeah.â You followed him out of the room.
Your Mother was standing near the door, her eyes filled with tears that threatened to spill. You went over and hugged her.Â
âMy baby girl, moving out. I'm gonna miss you.âÂ
âI'll come visit, don't worry.â
âYou better.â Your dad called an Uber to get to the airport.
The drive was silent besides the quiet radio in the background. The airport was busy. This was your first time flying by yourself, you took a deep breath to calm your nerves. You gave your mother and father one last hug before to went to check your bags. Your mother shed a tear and adjusted your protection collar again, urging you to be safe. You bid them goodbye and headed to check your bags and go through security. Once you made it to your gate your phone vibrated. You didn't recognize the number.Â
'Hello liebe, It is König. Kara has given me your number.'
'I am not used to texting, I text no one. Are you at the plane?'
Your heart jumped with excitement hearing from him.Â
'Hi König, I am at my gate. It boards in about an hour I think.'
'Wonderful, I will be waiting for you when you arrive.'Â
'See you then.'
You suppressed a squeal as you put your phone away. Your inner Omega was getting a little out of hand with her feelings about him. You felt like a middle schooler with a crush. You distracted yourself by using the bathroom and buying some expensive airport snacks to tide you over on the ride. It was a seven-hour overnight flight set to arrive at eleven am Netherlands time. Once you boarded the plane you got comfortable for the long flight. You brought a blanket from home and a neck pillow. Kara set you up with a window seat. As you took off you silently said goodbye to the big city and hello to your new future.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You woke as the lights of the plane cabin turned on. The flight attendants told everyone to prepare for landing. You gathered your things and gazed out your window. The city was lush, the leaves were turning slightly as fall rolled in. Your heart pounded against your chest with excitement, your Omega desperately wanted to see König. You still had to go through customs and baggage claim.Â
König wasn't much better. Throughout the week he had distracted himself by cleaning and buying things for your arrival, but that did little to quell the Alpha in him. He brought new bedding for your nest. He didn't know what kind you'd like so he got a little bit of everything. Fluffy faux fur blankets, cooling quilts, silk sheets, you name it. He also started putting aside t-shirts he has worn in case you wanted them for your nest. His apartment had two bedrooms, one of which he never used. It had a bed and that was about it. Although he desperately wanted you to sleep in his bed, he knew Omegas needed their space to nest and feel at home. He furnished the room with a desk, nightstand, dresser, and TV. He would leave the decorating up to you as that has never been his strong suit. He waited outside of baggage claim tapping his foot anxiously. He had arrived entirely too early but couldn't stand to sit in his apartment any longer.Â
Customs went by smoothly. You scanned the conveyor belts for your luggage. The longer the wait was the more your heart pounded. You were starting to sweat making your scent waft to the people around you. You moved to a corner with fewer people to avoid the annoyed looks people would give you. Your luggage finally made its round in the rotunda and you snatched it as fast as you could. You walked outside to the pickup area the sun blinding you for a moment as you looked around. You inhaled deeply trying to pinpoint König's scent. The faint smell of bread and cinnamon entered your nose through the breeze. You looked to the left seeing a familiar mop of hair behind a black SUV. He was too tall not to be the Alpha you were looking for. You walked up to him his back turned to you.Â
âKönig.â You said happily.Â
He turned to you surprised. âYou're here.â
König was trying to contain his excitement. His inner alpha pressured him to pick you up, to hold you. As if reading his mind, you hugged him. He wrapped his arms around you, dwarfing you. He bent down resting his nose in your hair, savoring your scent. You looked up at him keeping your arms around his waist. He had his black surgical mask on.Â
âI'm so happy to see you.â
âI spent every day thinking of you liebe.âÂ
He reluctantly released the embrace and opened the passenger side door for you. You sat in the car and watched him load your luggage into the trunk. He slid into the driver's seat glancing at you before pulling off onto the road. His scent sweetened the longer he was in your presence.Â
âHow was the flight?â He asked.
âIt was easy, I just slept.â
âAre you hungry?â
âYeah, I could eat.âÂ
König reached behind your seat to the back and grabbed a white paper bag. He handed it to you all without taking his eyes off the road. Inside was a croissant and a peach Danish.Â
âOh thank you König. You really know the way to woo me.â You chuckled taking a bite of the Danish.Â
He responded with 'hmm' and a content smile. The ride was about thirty minutes. You gazed out the window taking in the sights of your new city. Many people rode bikes and there were endless cafes. König parallel parked onto a quiet residential block. You got out of the car taking in your surroundings. The houses were all unique in color and style. Only one person was walking down the street. König unloaded your bags and put them on the sidewalk. You went to grab them but he shooed your hands away. He locked the car and started walking. The house he led you to was a brick home with a few steps leading to the foyer. He opened the door and let you walk inside first before carrying your bags in with ease. You walked up the two flights of stairs.Â
âThe door is open.â König said from behind you.Â
The second door came into view and you opened the door for him. He sets your bags down and closes the door behind him. The apartment was furnished but bland. Not much decor or color. It was obvious he doesn't spend much time here as it did not look lived in.Â
âCome.â He said leading you down the small hallway.
 He opened the first door, it was the bathroom. Quite large for an apartment bathroom, you were excited to use the tub. He then lead you to the second door it was a nice furnished bedroom there were a lot of shopping bags near the bed.Â
âThis is your room. I brought nesting material for you but, I was not sure what you liked.âÂ
You walked in. The natural light of the morning flooded into the room through the large windows. The building was high enough that you had a decent view of the neighborhood.Â
âKönig, you didn't have to buy all these for me.âÂ
âNonsense.âÂ
You smiled. âThank you, Alpha.âÂ
König's heart thumped against his chest. He didn't expect you to use his title so soon, but he was over the moon.
âYou're welcome Omega.â He purred.
Your Omega preened at the title. Although the situation was new, you felt safe and cared for. You started opening some of the bedding to assess them for your new nest. There was a large dark blue comforter with matching silk sheets. You knew you should focus on unpacking but the temptation to build your nest was too high. König watched you from the door with adoration. He was proud of himself for making his Omega feel happy and safe. He brought your luggage into your room to unpack whenever you were ready.Â
You were completely engrossed in your nest you didn't realize König was watching you. You took off your shoes and jacket and started arranging the sheets first to have a silky base. Then you used the quilts as a border before you could arrange it properly your phone started ringing, taking you out of the daze you were in. You reached for your phone in your jacket pocket. It was your mom.Â
âMom it's so early there you didn't have to call now.âÂ
âI know sweetie I just was paranoid. Did you arrive safe?âÂ
âI did, I'm at König's now.âÂ
âOh, great ok that's all I was worried about. I'm gonna head back to sleep. I love you, sweetheart.â
âI love you too Momâ
You hung up the phone and looked around at the mess of packaging on the floor. You were debating whether you should continue making your nest or clean your mess up. Sensing your internal struggle König spoke.Â
âLet's unpack Schatz.â
âOh, right.âÂ
You unzipped your suitcases and started sorting things into the dresser and closet. You instructed König to put your toiletries in the bathroom and put your clothes in certain drawers. He was happy to help, spending time with his Omega was the most important thing to him. König was given a little over three months' leave to settle with his Omega. After Christmas, he had to go back on missions. The thought made his heart ache. He shook off the negative feelings before she could pick up on anything, not wanting her to worry. König picked up the packaging placing it in one of the shopping bags. He went to the kitchen to throw it away.Â
Now that he was here he did not know what to do. Does he give her space? Should he take her out? König wants to spend as much time as possible with her, but he did not want to be overbearing. Before he could overthink, he heard you calling him. Walking into your room he saw you kneeling on the bed.Â
âTake off your shoes and come I want to test something.â You said.Â
He obliged, taking his shoes off. You waved him over to your unfinished nest. He stepped up to you hesitantly not wanting to cross any boundaries with your nest. You grabbed his hand and made him lie down. König stiffened not wanting to ruin anything. He has never been invited into an Omega's nest before. You started arranging your nesting materials around him. Once you got a good sense of how many blankets you needed for both of you to be comfy, you released him. He sat up carefully trying not to disturb anything that you arranged. He was honored that you'd feel comfortable just being in the room while you created your space.Â
While making your nest you noticed how barren the room was. You wanted it to be warm and cozy. You looked up at König.Â
âLet's go shopping, Alpha. Can we?âÂ
âSure, liebe.â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
König was surprised you had so much energy after your night of travel. You took in the scenery of the local shops. You slipped your hand into Konigs and led him into a home decor shop. König let himself be dragged around as you browsed. Every shop they went into you picked up small things. A wall mirror, a pretty tapestry, a cute frog statue, you had to have it. One of the shops you walked into sold Omega protection collars. You sighed.
âI wouldn't mind wearing mine as much if it looked better.âÂ
The shop made custom-fit metal collars. There was a beautiful gold metal collar with a dangle charm in the center. It came down to a point near the clavicle. Contrary to your basic black leather one.Â
âWould you like this one?â König asked.Â
âOh, no it's expensive.âÂ
You moved to walk out of the shop but you felt a hand on your waist stop you. König pulled you back to him gently and waved over the sales associate.Â
âCan she try this one on?â The worker nodded and took the collar out of the case.Â
You removed your collar with the key you kept in your wallet and let the worker place the gold one on you. You looked in the mirror and smiled. It complimented you in the best way, simple yet elegant. The worker explained that they do custom fittings that take a few days to make but it's worth it. You removed the collar and handed it back.Â
âShe would like to get fitted.â König said suddenly.Â
âWhat? No König really it's too much.â
âJust in case.â
âIn case what?âÂ
He didn't answer. The worker did a few measurements around your neck and the size and placement of your scent glands, writing them down on a form. After they were done they bid the both of you goodbye and looked forward to your order.Â
âI don't think I'm gonna get it.â You told König.
âIt's too much...â You added
âThat's ok.â He said.Â
He placed his arm around your waist as you walked, holding your shopping bags in the other hand. You had a feeling he was planning something but you let it go for the time being.Â
By the time you got home, it was getting dark. König placed your shopping bags into your room. You yawned.Â
âYou should sleep liebe, you've had a busy day.â König said.Â
âYeah, I'll head to bed early so I can finish my nest.â You stretched your back and walked to your room. König followed behind you heading to his room. He grabbed your wrist spinning you back toward him. His other hand caressed your cheek while leaning down to your level. He pulled down his mask revealing his plump lips.
âGoodnight Omega.â He kissed your cheek.Â
König felt it was only right to return the kiss you gave him before. He let the kiss linger for a few seconds before pulling away. Heat crept from your neck to your cheeks. König walked to his room smiling to himself. You leaned against your door, heart racing. You opened the door, your inner Omega was reeling from your Alpha's attention. Your alpha? You were completely smitten by the giant Apex. You closed the door, changed into pajamas, and jumped into your nest. You sighed into the pillows, fantasizing about your Alpha. You began adjusting your nest to your liking. It ended up taking you an hour to make it perfect, keeping in mind the space for König. You'd never made a nest with someone else in mind but it was nice. You got cozy and let sleep take over.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Light entered your room slowly waking you. You looked at your phone, it was 6:04 am. You sat up and stretched, happy that you beat the jetlag. Wondering if König was awake, you quietly stepped out of your room and down the hallway to his room. You knocked gently. König was a light sleeper. He heard your small footsteps before you knocked and went to open the door. He looked down at your face still flushed with sleep.Â
âGood morning.â You said, absentmindedly rubbing your eyes.Â
König purred deeply. You looked so cute in your PJs he wanted to pull you into his bed., for more than just cuddling. He leaned down and kissed your forehead.Â
âMorning Schatz.â He guided you down the hallway to the kitchen.Â
âI can make us pancakes for breakfast.â You suggested.
âSounds wonderful.âÂ
König watched you flit around the kitchen. The kitchen was barely used because of his job, so it was nice seeing it get used. Your head snapped to the alpha when you realized he was watching you.Â
âGo sit, I'll bring it to you.âÂ
König nodded and sat on the couch. He turned on the TV as he waited and listened to the kitchen utensils clanging in the background. A few minutes later you emerged with a plate for him topped with syrup. He took the plate and looked at the food quizzically.Â
âWhat's wrong?â you asked.Â
âThese...are pancakes?â He analyzed the fluffy discs.
âYeah, are pancakes different here?â He nodded.
âI'll try them.â He carved out a bite with his fork. You watched him intensely.Â
âHow is it?âÂ
â...Sweet, but good.â He said.Â
You smiled and went to get yourself a plate. You plopped down next to him on the couch and you took a bite. You watched the random movie he put on as you ate, feeling perfectly content with your Alpha.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later, you were on the couch typing away on your laptop working on your next chapter. König was struggling to find something to do with himself. He wanted to give you space to write, but desperately wanted to spend time with you. He understood that your job was time sensitive. He was lucky to have you here at all. You heard König pacing behind you causing you to lose your concentration. You got up and went to your room. You rummaged through your suitcase, finding a copy of your fantasy novel. You walked up to König and handed him the book before returning to your spot on the couch. He appeared next to you on the couch glancing over the blurb.Â
âI thought I had to buy a copy?â He said.Â
âWell, you need something to do.â You chuckled.Â
You two fell into a comfortable silence with König's mind now occupied. After a while, you glanced at the Alpha. He was engrossed in the pages well into the starting plot.Â
âHow is it so far?âÂ
âSo good Schatz. I have not read a novel in a long time, I like it.â
âI'm glad.â
König bent the corner of the page he was on and closed the book. You nearly felt your heart jumped out of your chest.
âAh! König!!!â You grabbed the book and attempted to straighten the corner out.
âThis is a book sin!â You exclaimed.
âOh? But I have no bookmark.â He gave you an amused look.Â
âOk just ask for one I have many!â You pouted.
âThe book isn't hurt.â
âHow do you know?âÂ
König laughed. It was so genuine and hearty that you almost forgot what you were upset about. You turned away and set the book page-side down. König's laughter died down and he looked at you.Â
âYou're adorable, Schatz.â
âHmph.â You said.Â
König reached around cupping your cheek. You turned to him. It was surprising to see his face a couple of inches away from yours. His eyes were soft as they gazed into yours, he looked down at your lips before capturing yours in a chaste kiss. Your eyes fluttered closed, leaning into the kiss. Your bottom lip slotted in between his in the most delicious way. He pulled away, resting his forehead on yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him again. One of his hands slithered around your waist pulling you flush against his torso. The other hand firmly gripped the side of your jaw.Â
Your heart pounded so loud you swear he could hear it.
König smiled against your lips. He finally had his Omega.Â

Warm greeting
Filling a prompt from @shygryf: Tater and Bitty are papped and speculation abounds (can be pre or post cup)
Jack laughed when he first saw it.
He was at the St. Martinsâ house, having a cup of coffee with Marty and Thirdy, listening to the girls play in the den while Gabrielle was at work, wondering what it would be like to have a house and a couple of kids.
Heâd never really thought about that, not before this summer. Now, though, he was out of the closet â could never go back in the closet â and Bitty had been living with him since May, and it was ⊠delightful.
Sure, it had been an adjustment. The condo felt crowded sometimes, with all of Bittyâs things everywhere, but that had gotten better when Tater had finally given up the guest room and taken his 6â4â body back to his own condo, and then, a couple of weeks later, back to Russia to see his family.
And sometimes Bitty chattered on, usually about nothing, or about baking, when Jack was craving silence.
But theyâd gotten better at communicating what they needed when they needed it, and Jack had found his thoughts turning to a future that maybe ⊠just maybe ⊠included a family. With Bitty, who was already so good with kids. Marty and Thirdyâs kids all loved him.
He should really talk to Bitty about it before he got carried away. Theyâd never talked about having kids. Why would they? Bitty was so young, only a few years from being a kid himself. He still had two years of school to finish before they could even think about getting married.
Or maybe ⊠Jack had known other players who married women who were still in college. It worked, they said, because the academic year roughly matched the hockey season, so they were busy at the same time.
Jack also knew a lot of players who got divorced after a few years.
âEarth to Jack.âÂ
Marty was waving his phone in front of Jackâs face, trying to call him out of his daydream.
âLooks like Tater got back okay,â Marty said, once he had Jackâs attention.
The phone showed a picture of Tater at the airport in Boston, arms wrapped around Bitty and lifting him into the air. It was from a local news site, and noted that training camp was around the corner.
The sheer joy that Jack read on Bittyâs face made him laugh.
âYeah,â Jack said. âI had a meeting with my agent this morning, so Bits went down to pick him up. I know he was a little worried.â
âTater?â Thirdy asked.
âNo, Bitty,â Jack said. âWell, he said Tater was worried, too, but ⊠I didnât see it.â
âAbout what?â Marty asked.
âAbout Tater going back to Russia,â Jack said. âAfter the Cup. Or, I mean, after I kissed Bitty. Because people knew Tater was staying with me ⊠staying with us ⊠and the way Russia has been cracking down on gay people. Thatâs why Tater didnât do a statement in support of us or anything.â
Tater had wanted to, Jack knew. Bitty had talked him out of it, after a long phone call to his old skating coach in Georgia, who apparently still knew people in Russia. She didnât actually know Taterâs family, but Bitty said they had friends in common.
âFigure skatingâs a small world,â Bitty had explained. âEven smaller than hockey.â
âI was surprised by that,â Marty said. âI never thought heâd be homophobic.â
âNo, heâs not,â Jack said. âBut his mother and sister are still in Russia, and he wanted to see them, and he was already staying with me. So he decided to have his Cup day there, like it was important for him to bring it home to them, and then work on getting things in place for his mother and his sister to move here this year. He just found out last week that their visas were approved.â
Jack didnât say how much work had gone on behind the scenes, with George, with his American mother, with the U.S. State Department to make sure that Taterâs closest relatives would be admitted.
The next time Jack saw the picture, it was on the phone Bitty was holding out across the breakfast bar while Jack did the dinner dishes that evening.
Tater had come for dinner, full of plans to look for a place for his family to live in Providence, to have everything ready when they arrived.Â
âTheyâre not going to live with you?â Jack asked.Â
âNo, no,â Tater said. âMe, Iâm keeping my bachelor pad. Anyone I date, they need to get along with my mama, yes, but not over the breakfast table. You understand?â
He left, wiped out from traveling, as soon as the meal was over. Bitty was sitting at the counter and scrolling through his phone when he sat up, eyebrows at his hairline, and said, âReally?!?â
Now the picture was on what Jack recognized as a gossip site, and the caption underneath said, âMoving on? The man seen greeting Providence Falconer Alexei Mashkov at Logan Airport sure looks a lot like Eric Bittle, who Jack Zimmerman said was his boyfriend after kissing him on the ice following the Falconersâ Stanley Cup win. But Zimmermann and Bittle havenât been seen in public together for weeks. Did Mashkov steal this puck bunny away from his teammate?â
Jack almost dropped the plate he was holding.
âPuck bunny? Osti de tabarnak!â
He set the plate down and took the phone from Bitty to read it again, saying as he did so, âIâm calling my lawyer. Iâll get them to take it down.â
But his phone was already ringing.
Shitty.
âWhat the fuck, brah!â Shitty started. âDid you see ââ
âWe saw,â Jack confirmed. âIâm calling my lawyer. Puck bunny?â
If Jack was furious, Bitty was incandescent with rage.
âHow could they do this!?! This could ruin everything! I have to call Tater.â
Bitty tugged his phone out of Jackâs grip and looked at the post again.Â
âAfter everything Tater did all summer to smooth everything over. I mean, maybe I shouldnât have hugged him, but I was so glad he made it back okay ⊠and I didnât even see anyone with a camera. Fuck, itâs my fault. What if his family canât come anymore?â
Bitty was almost wailing now. Jack knew he was upset â Bitty didnât usually use casual profanity like that â and he knew that he shouldnât call Tater in that state.
âItâll be okay,â Jack said. âYou really think the Russian government looks at trashy gossip sites from Boston?â
âYou really think they donât?â Bitty retorted. âAnd I donât know what your lawyerâs gonna do.â
âTell them to take down the caption?â Jack said. âSue them for defamation?â
âFor what? Implying that I broke up with you and started dating Tater?â Bitty scoffed. âI love you, but the media law class I took last year â you know, for my blog? â I donât think thatâs actually defamatory.â
âPuck bunny?â Jack said in disbelief. âI mean, I saw the photo before, but it was one of the news channels talking about training camp. I didnât think anything of it.â
âOnce again, you might see the caption as derogatory, but ⊠theyâre gonna say it was intended to be humorous. And we were in public, so no expectation of privacy. I hate it as much as you do, Jack, but you know they can take photos on public property.â
That, in fact, was why Bitty and Jack had not been seen in public together for weeks. Bitty had had a minor breakdown over not even being able to go to the grocery store without photos ending up online.
âBut they still might take it down if they get a call from a lawyer,â Jack pointed out.Â
âYeah,â Bitty acknowledged. âThey might. Iâm just kicking myself for not being more careful. Iâll call Tater.â
Jack went to the closet he called his office to call the lawyer while Bitty called Tater.
âTater? Iâm sorry to bother you â I know youâre exhausted,â Bitty started.
âIâm fine,â Tater said. âYou need something? Forget something?â
âNo â I, um, I have to give you some bad news,â Bitty said.
âYou alright?â Tater asked. âJackâs alright?â
âNo, weâre fine. Itâs, well. Itâs that there was a picture taken. Of us. On the sidewalk at airport.â
âYes?â Tater said, sounding a little mystified. âI saw the photo hours ago. You look very cute. I look very strong.â
âWell, yes, but some other place posted it, and the caption makes it sound like you ânâ me ⊠like weâre dating,â Bitty finally managed to say.
âOkay?â Tater said. âI know that is not true. You know that is not true. Iâm sure Jack knows it is not true.â
âBut what about ⊠you donât think it will cause problems for your mother?â
âMama? No,â Tater laughed. âMama â she told the people in Russia that she needed to come to the U.S. to â how to say â set me straight. That I was forgetting the ways she taught me and she and my sister must come so I remember.â
Tater paused.
âDonât worry, she canât wait to meet you! She just said that so they would let her come here. I saw the photographer and I thought the picture might help, yes?â
Bitty thunked his head gently on the kitchen counter.
âTater, are you sure about this?â
âOf course I am sure!â
There was another pause.
âThey called you puck bunny!â Tater shouted.
âJust saw it, huh?â Bitty asked.
âThey should not say that about you!â
âYeah, Tater, Jack is on that. As long as youâre okay?â
âIâm fine, Little B. Going to bed. Maybe tomorrow you, me and Jack all go out together?â

You just gotta laugh
... when Maximum Wobbler Bullshit strikes again:
FFS, woman: you have been repeatedly proven tragically wrong, cut the crap and take a hike. This time, it was not even me, it was Marple (what were the odds?) to call you out, and I have to say she was absolutely right. Fair's fair. What she wrote is correct: even if the company you work for is registered in the US, you can still 'work' on its behalf in the UK. Either as an independent agent (consultant, in this case), which is something Marple did not take into account, but I do (as no contract is visible, all could anyone do is speculate), or as an employee with the right visa (I would be more reserved about it, as her presence in the UK can still be considered episodic at best and usually continuity is one of the criteria being used, exactly as for overseas revenues in taxation). Anyways, in my book, consulting would be the usual way to provide the kind of services Ashley does on behalf of SS, considering we are talking about spirits business, and this is how I have always analyzed things. Let's think for example about the kind of contract between SS and the Scottish master blender who helped elaborate the whisky's profile: he is a consultant, not an employee.
This is, by the way, not limited to spirits business and sky is the limit as far as contracts go. My own mother, as a General Sales Agent on behalf of a foreign airline, acted as a business managing representative of that company in my country/region for years, while not being its employee for one single day. She was still regularly reporting to headquarters and still regularly attending business meetings in that foreign capital, but she was obviously not paying taxes in that country, either. That did not mean that she was sleeping with the company's Area Manager (who became a near and dear family friend, btw), as some of my own Anons seem to be thinking about Ashley (SMH).
Also, he did not take a potential 'client' to that match. He took his consultant/ employee. Legally speaking, 'work' is too vague a concept, as it can cover very different situations, as I have just explained. Talking about a 'client' here is just wrong and makes me wonder if Wobble Bullshit ever worked anywhere, if only for a single day in her life, bless her heart.
It would seem to me Maximum Wobble Bullshit is the one who has no damn understanding about the basic ropes of business and/or employment.

To apply for a work visa in the United States is to set out on a biblical odyssey through a glacial, bureaucratic process renowned for its voracious appetite for complex and expensive paperwork. About a dozen years ago, comedian Julio Torres began that process. And, to help make ends meet as he waited â there is a lot of waiting â Torres, who is from El Salvador, took just about any menial job he could find.
He served as a translator for parent-teacher conferences and worked as a personal assistant for busy professionals in New York City, where he still lives. At one point he interviewed for a magicianâs assistant position only to find out that his potential employer was not a magician but a saxophone player whose gimmick consisted of having a plastic phallus pop out of his instrument. âHe had it in a case next to him and he didnât show it to me,â says Torres of the penis sax, with some regret. He did not get the job.
My profile of Julio Torres is in the LA Times.

Im so sorry for all the Chrisâ nibling stuff but I absolutely love family type fics so could you please continue the thing into maybe World Tour?
Maybe Alejandro being like a big brother type thingy? You know since his big brother is kinda a bootyhole
NO DONâT APOLOGISE ITâS OKAY!! Itâs a sign that you really enjoy this instalment and that makes me proud of my ability as a writer to engage yall so much. :â)
CHRIS MCLEANâS NIBLING! READER WORLD TOUR HEADCANONS
Itâs been a year, and Total Drama was coming back with its third season: a no-holds-barred race around the world in a jet!Â
It wasnât surprising that it took a lot more conversation out of Chris to convince your parents to let you on this one- the suspicious measure of his jetâs safety, what youâd be exposed to this time around, your passport, visa, if the whole process was even legal.
In the end, they allowed it, primarily because it was Chrisâ burden to bear the responsibilities and they trusted him enough to keep you safe.
This time, you didnât need to pack; everything youâd need was at Chrisâ place already.
Thatâs right! You started staying with him a lot more without your parents being around.
You were one year older, and so was everyone else.
Chris decided to invite two new contestants on the show. Potential friends?
âEee! OMG! Itâs Chris Junior! Hi! Hi! Hi!â One of them, the super fan Sierra wildly shakes your hand,âI always daydreamed about the day Iâd get to meet my step-cousin, and now Iâm finally here!â
âStep-cousin...?â you didnât get it.
â(Y/N) your majesty, why donât you go sit at the front with Chef while uncle Chris explains a few rules to the passengers?â Chris interrupts sweetly.
âAww. Okay.â After you whispered to him,âWill I need to sing too?â
The plane took off, and you were flying into the sky!
âI think I can see my house from here!â You exclaim, peering out one of the holes in the wall modified as windows in the âeconomyâ section. The wind taps your face. Canada looked like little rectangles!
âItâs a long way down! Donât lean out too much, you donât wanna fall!â Leshawna advised, beaming at you.
âI wonât fall! This is the Chris plane!â You declared, jumping off the bench and spinning around in circles.
The Chris plane broke out free in aggressive blue.
âHuuu...â you whimpered, cutting your dancing short,âIs that normal?... Is...this meant to happen?â
âAre you frightened?â An answer in the form of a question slid into your ears by Alejandro, the other new contestant.
âY-Yeah...â you nod, clutching onto the window,âIâve never been on a plane before... If this is what itâs like, I donât think I like planes very much...â
âYou donât need to feel frightened.â A tanned arm of his surrounds you, seeming sincere, like a scared half to death boy who didnât get this shield long ago,âI may not have much history with you, but itâs not in my morals to ignore a child in distress.â
You could see why your uncle wanted him on the show. His face was perfect, alright. And the hair on his chin really got you curious,âCan I...?â
âBy all means.â He directs your hand to his goatee.
You stroke it. Soft...like silk,âMy uncle told me about you. Donât worry, I donât snitch, but are you fake being nice to me?â
He shakes his head, his long dark hair similar to Chrisâ elands with it,âI havenât any intention to deceive you, little one.â
âYou can say that, but not mean it...â you mumble, not happy with his nature, but happy enough to accept it the way it was.
âThis is separate. I swear.â His fingers werenât crossed,âI wonder, (Y/N)...you donât happen to have siblings, do you?â
âMm mm. My parents are busy so thereâs only me.â You quiet your voice, now stroking his necklace,âIf I did, I probably wouldnât be on the show, and Iâd be jealous that Iâd have to share...â
âI see... It sounds like a life of luxury.â
âAle-jandro!â your uncle appears down the hall,âStrategising already, are you?â
âWhat? Of course not! To use a child like this? I could never!â The Hispanic man quickly jumped to defend himself.
âYeah yeah, the turbulence is over in case you missed it.â His odium of the sight sharpened his face, which was very new.
âWhatâs the problem here?â Youâd like to know too. What gives, uncle?,âPlease forgive me if I act in ignorance, for I did not see anything about-â
âYou done? Iâm uh, kinda waiting on you to get up and go.â much to your baffled expression, Chrisâ impatience squished Alejandroâs right to speak, leaving him no other choice, but to bid an end to your moment together.
Nobody could look smart challenging the host. Not at the start as a newbie at least.
Understandable, though. Chris loses control over his contestants sometimes and didnât want you to get in the middle of it.
Shortly, you arrive to Egypt, the first country, and watched the contestants take their mark to race across a pyramid. While you were so excited to visit new cultures and be in different countries, Egypt itself was unbearably dry.
âUghhh uncle! How are you not hot?â You groan, flapping your hand in front of your face. Too hot... So hot...!
âLook what Iâm wearing.â he answered, ironic since the most he wore was a nemes and loincloth- not even a shirt.
Seeing how relaxed he was nagged you to groan further,âIâm melllting!â
âIntern!â He yelled at a poor unpaid worker to rush and raise-low a palm leaf to you,âBetter?â
âAhh..â you groan, falling into the sand on your knees,âI could use some icy lemonade right now...â
This was going to be a loooooong season.
