Buddie Prompt: A firefighter from another shift is thinking about suing the department over something, like maybe their captain his holding them back like Bobby did, and much to everyone's surprise, Buck is super kind and supportive to the firefighter, discussing the pros and cons of going forward or holding back. When the firefam broach the subject with Buck, he just shrugs as says that he knows what the firefighter is going through, how much it hurt to be held back and how lonely it got. He very calmly and gently calls out each of them for the hurt they caused him, from Bobby holding him back, to Eddie blowing up at him and projecting his feelings onto him, to Chim not understanding when he should have been most understanding, to Hen not really being there either. Firefam FINALLY realize just how deeply they hurt Buck and let him down when he needed them the most. Now comes the task of trying to make up for it. Eddie especially wants to really set things right since he's realized Buck is the love of his life.

NEW FAVORITE FIC AS MOVIE POSTER

I literally just finished reading this fic and fell in love with it so hard that I decided to create a movie poster about it. Thank you, @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels, for making this masterpiece. 

This fic truly rearranged the insides of my body in a good way (weird metaphor, but that's how I feel). I 100% know what's going to happen in the story, but it still pulled me into a trance.

Buddie coparenting fic rec request

Hi guys, I’m looking for recs where Buck is very involved in coparenting Chris. More than just hanging out and helping with homework but like the decision making and harder stuff like enforcing rules and punishments. But I’m looking for these moments pre-relationship. Maybe it’s the catalyst for Eddie to realize they’re a family and he wants to continue to build a life with Buck. Or maybe he just realizes he hasn’t really felt like a single parent for a long time now. I’ve read a couple of these but would love to read it more.

Buddie Post-Lawsuit prompt: With medical bills and lawyer's fees piling up, Buck is in serious financial trouble and even though he's back to work, Bobby doesn't let him on calls or work the extra hours he needs. Chim and Hen are sympathetic but can't do much. Eddie stubbornly holds onto his hurt even though he is painfully missing Buck. In desperation, Buck makes the awful decision that he is gonna sell himself for some much needed money. He goes to a seedy part of town to do the deed, only to be spotted by a certain police sergeant/mama bear before he does anything illegal. Athena gets both a meal in him and the horrible truth out of him and she is absolutely appalled. She takes Buck home and in no uncertain terms kicks Bobby out with a glare and no explanation. Next day Bobby, Eddie, Hen, and Chim will all have to deal with hurricane Athena when she comes to the station to clue them in on what's been going on with Buck and tear everything and everyone apart for her boy.
