Remember when I posted the 911 (technically 999) crossover? Yeah, I keep thinking about that. Arthur being a fireman obviously means he keeps getting in danger (and shot on occasion), which means that Merlin eventually steps down from being the 999-dispatcher to be a paramedic. Because SOMEONE has to take care of the prat and Merlin is both a physician AND a sorcerer, so he's best equipped to keep the idiot alive.

As many comparisons as there are between TK and Buck or Carlos and Eddie especially regarding general appearance and outward behavior when you focus on their deeper personalities Buck and Carlos have a lot in common and so do Eddie and TK.

Carlos and Buck are generally more free with their emotions, often considered soft by others. There is no one that will fight hard for their loved ones than them. Both have felt ignored and rejected by their parents resulting in bad decisions. The only time we see them close to violent is when they are in moments of emotional turmoil unlike any they had experienced before.

TK and Eddie are more emotionally guarded. It takes them both a long time to open up to people, especially about their pasts. Both have been afraid to be open to new relationships due to past heartache. They have a history of running towards danger rather than face difficulties in their personal lives, one towards drugs, the other to war. They also both put themselves in violent situations rather than dealing with emotional trauma.

As much as I love the Buck & TK shenanigans in the crossover episode, they can't level with my annoyance at Eddie constantly flirting with Firefox!!! "You too... Firefox" as if he didn't not know who she was until 5 minutes ago when Buck told him. Have you seen the way he looks at her? That smirk? One minute of not being needed for the rescue and he's already sending her a follow request on Instagram? And all that after having reprimanded Buck with a jealous expression for staring at her earlier? Babe stop it, TK ain't the only guy here who already has a boyfriend and he already has abandonment issues and feels neglected by you

I don't usually have a problem with Eddie's love interests, on the contrary, but for some reason this interaction - even though not even meant to be a love interest I think - annoys me so much 😂 maybe because when he's actually interested he's all stuttery and stupid (same) and not a smooth motherfucker like with Firefox

I also can't take this name seriously, like, who calls themselves that? That's a browser

I just can't look at his smug face any longer

The only thing that appeases me each time is how he begs her to follow Buck back on Instagram which is kind of sweet since he knows how much it means to Buck

But yeah, this needed out of my system 😂

Watching swat because I'd seen some bits and who was gonna tell me that firehouse 118 actually responds so a crossover with 911 is feasible. How many fics are out there?? Where's the double takes from swat when buck introduces himself. I've seen a couple of Tommy twin fics which were hilarious. But like it could so happen 😂😂

Lonestar Cross Over (Season 2 Episode 3, Hold the Line)

I'm not sure what it says about me, but when Buck steals the firetruck keys to go save Hen and Captain Strand with TK, I am weirdly proud of him for having both the forethought and sneakiness to steal the keys to TK's firehouse's truck.

Buck is not messing up Bobby's firetruck ever again if its within his power (cause Bobby's the dad he should have had). That's growth right there.

In another life, at another crossroad, Carlos holds contact with Athena, and he follows her advice to train for a future career as a detective. He's good at this job, he's a natural, and his father approves it, he's proud of him. Carlos has a good life, he has it all – a husband, a purpose. Without speaking to TK – as always for fear of confrontation – he drops out of training and joins the Texas Rangers. Against the will of his superiors, he follows a trail across the country, burns all the bridges and leaves TK in worry and distress that even Owen can't counter. TK doesn't know who to turn to, except for the only person he thinks he can hold responsible, apart from Carlos himself: Athena. She doesn't know TK, she doesn't even really know Carlos, but he's in trouble and she's seen what he's capable of. He is an exceptional talent, a sleuth, a natural-born detective. Above all, he's a young man in trouble, and Athena has plenty of experience with that. And at the end of an absolutely unauthorized adventure including a stolen ambulance, TK's first time using a rifle and both of them exceeding all powers to dismantle a gang of criminals, Athena will pull all the stops to have Carlos finish his exam. He passes with the second-best grade ever achieved by a candidate and leaves the Texas Rangers. Wistfulness drives him to his father's grave, where he kisses his hat goodbye, places it on the gravestone and returns to his husband with a promise.
