Births:

Chelsy (33) (Bontrager) and John (33) Maxwell welcomed their fourth child Watson Joe on December 3. He joins his three older siblings: Axton (5), Elliott (4), and Madeline (3).

Anastasia (28) (Salyer) and James (29) Silberman welcomed their second child Ezra Maxwell on December 6. Ezra joins his older sister Geneva (16 months).

Paige and David (25) Williams welcomed their second child, a girl (name unknown). She joins older brother Deacon (18 months).

Pregnancies:

Lydia (26) (Romeike) and Trace (25) Bates announced they are expecting their second child, a rainbow boy. This baby will join older brother Ryker (15 months) in June 2025.

Georgia (25) (Brown) and Ryan (35) Williams accidentally leaked that they are expecting their first child together. They officially announced a few days later. This child will join his paternal half-brother Ryder.

Hannah (29) (Wissmann) and Jeremiah (26) Duggar announced they are expecting their third daughter. She will join Brynley (2) and Brielle (10 months) in late Spring.

Becky (38) (Keilen) and Tim Forman announced they are expecting their first child, a boy. He is due to arrive in March 2025.

Cherise (29) and Brance Kahle announced they are expecting their third child in summer 2025. This child will join older siblings Ryder (3) and Haven (19 months).

Bethany (25) and Benjamin (24) Burnett are expecting their second child in summer 2025. This new child will join older brother Josiah (19 months).

Loren Wissmann said he has 4 grandchildren due in 2025. Only his daughter Hannah Wissmann Duggar is confirmed. These are the possible pregnancies: Rachel Busenitz (age 42, 4 children, 15 months PP), Ruth Bourlier (41, 5 children, 24 months PP), Abi Wissmann (age 37, 5+ years PP), Bethany Beasley (age 38, 5 children, almost 4 years PP), Kori Wissmann (age 35, 2 children, 4+ years PP), Michelle Wissmann (age 34, 3 children, 18 months PP), Jana Duggar (age 34, no children, 4 months newlywed), Susanna Jerred (age 27, 1 child, 9 months PP), Katrina Wissmann (age 21, 1 child, 16 months PP). in your Court of Owls au would Dick be interested in being a talon? His main example is Cobb. How would Bruce react if Dick was interested?

Does Cobb get nicknames from the batfamily?

I think Dick would be interested at first… up until Bruce sits him down and tells him how Talons are made. Then he‘d be horrified. And refuse to stop hugging Cobb for an hour at least. (Cobb really doesn’t get what all the fuss is about and can this little child PLS stop being sentimental thank you)

He still wants to keep training, but he‘ll pass on the electrum injections, please and thank you.

And YES! Absolutely! Cobb cannot escape being called “grandpa” by Dick. No matter how many times he threatens bodily harm.

Jason steadfastly calls him Will, just like Bruce, when they’re at home. And even with the Court he will call him “Tal” or “Birdy” (he really wants to see Cobb lose his composure but the guy is stubborn. The closest Jason came was during an official Court meeting when Jason sweetly asked “Flappy” to hand him a stapler.)

Tim is too scared of Cobb for the longest time to call him anything but “Sir”.

Steph joins the “grandpa” game.

Cass and Duke are too polite to call him by anything but his name or designation lol.

(Bruce would call him anything from “Will” to “sweetheart” (the latter of which almost made Cobb commit regicide) Bruce just loves pissing Cobb off too much to stop inventing new nicknames to embarrass him with)

Hello, Leah Hall here. Congratulations to my sweet youngest sister, Bethany - she's a young adult now, and she's courting! She and Adam Brown have known each other since their teen years, and The Watcher has finally brought them together in a courtship. Praise Him!

And congratulations to my little brother Joshua, too - he and Maria just got engaged today, and are planning to get married very soon! An engagement, a courtship, and Phoebe's pregnancy - The Watcher really has blessed our family lately!

As for me, I've been taking care of everything at home, cleaning and cooking for everyone - but nothing has brought me more joy than my baby nephew, Lucas. He's so precious, and it's such a blessing to be able to take care of him so often.

Being a loving aunt is wonderful, but I do sometimes wish I could be a mom - that I could meet the one The Watcher has for me, just like my siblings, and have a big, loving family.

...I don't think it's ever going to happen, though. Maybe it just isn't what He has planned for me.

For Court of Owls! Batfam Au, how do the rest of the family fit in this au?

Kate Kane and Tim Drake are wealthy enough to be apart of it.

Stephanie,Cass and Duke, I'm not sure,but Barbara and Commissioner Gordon, Alfred (since he isn't mentioned I assume he disagreed and left) might be involved unless otherwise.

Damian might be a lovechild of two courts between League of Assasins, that feels he'd inherit his Dad's legacy but acts like the old court,maybe at first at least.

Tim Drake’s involvement was covered in a previous ask! As to Kate, I admit I know next to nothing about her so I’ll have to skip that for now >.>

But there’s no reason to believe the way the get introduced to the family is going to be wildly different than canon!

Alfred is still Bruce‘s loyal butler (I think I mentioned him tangentially once or twice) and knows Bruce is trying to do good. He‘s 100 percent got his back.

Steph meets Tim first after our little stalker establishes himself as the eyes and ears of the court. (Even Cobb is unnerved by how good the kid can blend in). She never becomes part of the Court or Robin (mostly because she wants nothing to do with the Owls) but she does accept the gear they provide her with. It‘s kind of a love-hate relationship between them all, but Bruce still includes her in the list of his children when anybody asks. Steph is very annoyed by this. (And also a little touched.)

Cass is sent to assassinate Bruce (without knowing he’s the Voice) and gets intercepted by a furious Cobb. She‘s still only a teenager at this point, something that makes Bruce stop Cobb from killing her and… well. (Cobb knows how this goes as soon as it comes to light the girl cannot even talk. He wonders if Talons can retire. He cannot deal with another traumatized child that needs babysitting. He deals with another traumtaized child that needs babysitting.)

That leaves Duke, whom I headcanon Bruce came across on accident while working on cleaning up the foster system. He‘s just another child right up until the moment that Bruce happens to quite literally run into him while he’s out alone in Gotham (having slipped away from the Talon once again). Duke notices Bruce is being followed by some shady looking people and helps him escape. And, well, “no good deed goes unpunished”, right? And the manor’s got a lot of spare rooms still. (Cobb would like to put himself in cryo and not come out until Bruce has managed to get a grip on his adoption problems.)

Damian is… tricky. There would be a very short window of time in this AU where him and Talia could have met that would result in Damian being conceived in a consensual way. I haven’t really made up my mind about this yet.

And Bruce is still working together with Jim to help Gotham. He’s still operating as “Batman”, after all. Just not usually in an armored suit. 🦇
