'Tis the Season!
Question: What has more holiday spirit than a Hallmark Christmas movie?
Answer: A reality competition to discover the next Christmas movie leading man.
That is what these ten handsome fellas (with host Jonathan Bennett, in the middle) are all hoping to be, in Finding Mr. Christmas.

Finding Mr. Christmas -
I watched the first 2 episodes and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The show is really well done and it's not as cheesy as I expected it to be. Erin Cahill was the guest for the first episode acting a scene with the guys and Tyler Hynes was in the second episode and carried puppies out to them for their photoshoots. It was very cute. The challenges are fun but they also feel very purposeful and are judged that way. They're taking it seriously. I have some favorites for sure and I'm very curious to see who ends up the winner!
If you watched, what'd you think?

I was thinking, "One day I shall find my writer's voice and then things will be a LOT more clear--pertaining to what I want to write and how I want to write it" but the truth is that everything that I'm writing technically IS IN my writer's voice.... I might not like my own voice or understand it all that well, or know how to convey what I'm trying to convey in the way I want to make it come across, but my voice IS there and it IS mine, even when I'm frustrated with it and its limitations (it also helps to think about Whisper of the Heart and how Seiji's grandfather tells Shizuku after reading her manuscript that her writing is a diamond in the rough that needs to be polished and refined and honed).... it's just a matter of practice and of listening!
