My absolute favorite thing about the Pikmin series after growing up only knowing it from smash bros is learning how much of a family man/wife guy Olimar is. I didn't even know he TALKED until like last year but now I would die for this tiny little family.
*blows a kiss down at the dirt* for Captain Olimar
(as a side note, I've experienced Pikmins 2,3, and 4 by watching the Frankenbugs Streams, which are very fun go check them out! Pikmin 4 playlist is here)
all image descriptions below cut:
ID #1: Various sketches of Olimar both in his normal state and leafified. As a leafling, Olimar is thinking "DANDORI" with the faint underlying thought "I miss my wife and kids". As a normal hocotatian Olimar is doing various things: leading his pikmin while thinking "Sometimes I wonder if the pikmin are just using me..." as the pikmin chant "dad, dad, dad" in their own language; holding a pikmin like a baby while thinking of his son and "Remember to support the neck"; Almost eating a pikmin in a tired stupor because he thinks it's a pikpik carrot, then hugging it and saying "SORRY! Sorry lil buddy my bad,," as other pikmin look on and "all want hugs now". End ID.
ID #2: Sketches of Olimar looking in a mirror and expressing surprise when he notices his hair is bright red, a lingering side-effect of being a leafling. He turns away and scratches his head as he mutters "...guess I have always told my wife I like redheads..." Additionally, sketches of leafling Olimar scratching his wife's face into the waxy exterior of a berry. End ID.
ID #3: A sketch of Olimar wearing classic disco clothes as he dances closer to his wife and a friend of hers. End ID.
ID #4: 2 sketches captioned by excerpts from Olimar's treasure entries in Pikmin 4. The first sketch is Olimar's wife wearing a hat, next to a screenshot of the berry the hat is based on, captioned "an uncanny resemblance to my wife wearing a hat." The second sketch is a younger Olimar (labled "smol Olimar, or smolimar") wearing a black leather jacket and subsequently getting extremely hot under the sun, captioned "turns out wearing a leather jacket during the peak of a Hocotate summer is a shortcut to getting a heat stroke." End ID.
ID #5: 4 sketches captioned by excerpts from Olimar's teasure entries in Pikmin 4. The first sketch is Olimar and his wife dressed for their wedding day, happily gazing up at an extravagent space themed wedding cake, captioned "At our wedding, our friends gave my wife and me a spaceship-shaped cake that looked a lot like this one." The second sketch is Olimar and his wife sitting on a suspended porch swing as his wife holds their swaddled newborn, captioned "When my first child was born, my wife and I would sit outside in the warm spring weather and take turns rocking him in our arms." The third sketch is Olimar's son as a baby honking his big nose, captioned "But once he knew the distinctive shape of my nose, he recognized me right away." The fourth sketch is Olimar's family playing Monopoly, his wife obviously being the leading player of the game while his children watch Olimar struggle to keep up, captioned "This pattern always reminds me of our family game nights." End ID.

Booo-merang Trouble DP x DC Idea
Okay but leeching off the idea that Jason gives off an ecto-signature, and I probably saw a post about this somewhere. I just for the love of me can't find it. If anyone knows it, please link it so I can credit!:
Jason isn't even on patrol, he's visiting the manor. His chilling, eating away at lunch. He doesn't come to the manor often, but he always needs a dose of his crazy family every once in a while. There's no way he'd stay away from Alred's cookies for long.
Then boom, something shatters the window behind him. On instinct, Jason moves. Taking cover and trying to get a sight of the situation. Of the perceived attack. However, before Jason could do much a heavy object rams into his chest before landing on the ground before him. It doesn't really hurt, nothing compared to his prior injuries.
A boomerang. A glowing green and silver boomerang laid on the ground before him. Jason's a million and one ways confused as he stared at the device. His hands carefully picking it up, and looking over the softly beeping device.
Jason thinks maybe it's a bomb, but something in his gut says otherwise. He can think of a million different things it could be. Maybe one of the rogues got a hold of their DNA, and it tracked them. Maybe it's going to expel a gas any moment, an attack on the Waynes rather than their vigilante personas.
Except it's none of that. The beeping stops and suddenly a robotic voice sounds from the boomerang.
"Ghost located, prepare for your end ghoul."
Jason tenses once again at the clear threat in those words. His gaze scans around the kitchen, still crouched behind the kitchen counter. Except nothing happens.
Except for a voice ringing out from the boomerang once again. This time, this time it's not a robot. It's a clear record of a young woman speaking. Her voice filled with fear, concern, and urgency.
"Okay, this should work right? You know what, that doesn't matter. No one but you should have a signature. Beside's Tucker thinks he set this up to go to you only. So Danny, you should be hearing this..."
Jason only finds himself more confused. The urgency in this girl's voice was enough to keep his nerves on edge. It sounded important, but Jason had no clue who these people are. Who these names could be refering to.
"Danny... Things here aren't doing to good. Look, I know why you left. You have every reason to. What mom and dad did... It's unforgivable and I don't expect you to come back. But, thing is..."
There's a lull in the recording. The distant sound of soft chatting. If Jason strained his ears, he could somewhat pick of the sound of another woman and man.
"Everyone thinks Phantom is dead. Which I would think is a good thing, but it's not. Danny, the GIW is on a rampage now that you aren't here. Mom and dad are on their side..."
Jason made the conclusion that the speaker was this Danny's sister. The message was intended for him, yet it somehow landed in Jason's lap.
"They have everyone locked up in the school... Radars to see if anyone has a signature, and if they do... They separate them from everyone else."
Jason's brows furrowed, finally pulling himself to a stand. He placed the boomerang on the kitchen counter. Leaning forward as he took in the words.
"We don't know what they are doing. Sam, Tucker, and Valerie... We're all hiding. We'll have the highest signatures, and... Listen Danny..."
Jason had a growing pit in his gut. He knew something wasn't right. These people were in danger. It didn't matter he didn't know about what, or who the GIW was, but these people needed help.
"... We need you. We need Phantom, baby bro. I'm sorry, I know you're still recovering. We can handle things here, but please. Please tell me you're still alive, you're in Gotham right? Tell me you're safe, and you're healing and still kicking Danny."
Jason swallowed, placing his hands flat on the kitchen counter. He needed to get this down to the cave. Have the computer tracked where it came from. But Jason couldn't move, not at the sound of pure desperation in this woman's voice.
"I just need to know you at least made it out of this nightmare. I don't care how you do it, just please let me know things are okay... They have... They have Vlad, Danny. Things are complicated, and I hate to put this on you... But Amity needs Phantom..."
The recorded suddenly broke into static, but Jason thinks he got enough of what he needed. Amity. The place these people were was called Amity. It gave him a lead, something for them to work with.
"Da... We... Help... They..."
Jason could hear the woman's voice breaking through the static. He gripped the boomerang, turning on his heels and heading towards the cave.
"Sam... Mom... Tech... I..."
Every broken word only fueled Jason's own urgency. Jason felt a strange urge, a connection. Something that told him he had to help. They needed to help. The boomerang found him, and that had to mean something.
"... I love you, Danny..."
Those four words were the clearest compared to rhe rest of it. It made Jason's heart seize, and he took a breath. He was going to help.
It didn't matter if Jason didn't know these people. If they weren't from Gotham. This was important, and something told Jason he needed to find this Danny.
Danny would be the only one that would know that to do. If Jason manages to rewind the recording, he was certain Bruce would be equally on board.
That voice, the emotions that dripped from it. It gave the sense that this wasn't just life or death. This was a world ending problem.
And Jason would be damned if he ignored it.

-----
Things happen, right? Misunderstandings, judgement, reproaches and blame, all of them, the worst thing that could happen to a family, more importantly-right now-to yours.
Back from a hunt gone bad, you heavily lay in the backseat of the impala, your feet hung over the left window while your head rests over the opposite side of the car.
"Hey-get your feet off my damn leather." A complaint you've heard one too many times, and one you usually fight but- this time, as a sigh leaves your lips, you uncross your legs and bring them down, consequently lifting your upper body to sit up. An avertion from your side that's different from your usual habits, causing the car to fall into heavily loud silence.
And although it is loud with almost audible thoughts and anger, you still enjoy that while it lasts.
And it fucking doesn't last, in fact, just as soon as you entered the motel, another sentence commenced by Sam sent Dean into a fury, and just as things heated up, you found yourself in the middle of it all-again-
"Hey!!-" The shout is directed at you, this you know and choose to disguard. You would answer but- your body is fatigued and so is our mind, answering seems to lead to no vail. You answer, he fights you, you all go to sleep and wake up forcebly normalizing things, as if your throats aren't sore and your brains aren't fried.
"Hey-i'm talking to you-"
The words sound more bitter this time around, and you find yourself reluctantly lifting your gaze up . You look at Dean, slow and undetermined, exhausted.
"I asked you why you did that-You could've waited for us. I know you said there was no time le-" Dean pauses. "And fucking answer me when i talk to you-"
You shrug, causing a choking gasp out of Dean. His eyes widen and he leans forward. "Are you-Is she provok-are you-"
You throw your jacket over the bed, disdain discerned in your every move and you flop on the bed, unaware of the sudden tension that-again- suddenly settles in.
But the thing is--You don't care anymore. You haven't enough energy to get you to fight them once more, neither to explain or defend yourself. Too damn fucking tired is what you are at the moment-Too damn tired of it all.
"Kid?"
You rest your hand over your forehead, closing your eyes in an effort to soothe your aching muscles, and maybe suck in a little more patience.
"Kid."
Your stomach tightens and soon, you'll recess into a bawling mess, so you get off the bed and pick up your jacket.
Please don't lead to another fight, please..You just want it all to be ov-
"What's wrong?"
You shrug once more, shaking your head to motion that all is fine before heading for the door. But Sam comes your way, blocking the door and you blow a long sigh.
"Come here"
Sam grips both of your arms and swiftly-you find yourself glued to his chest. But all happens all too fast-why would he suddenly get all feely- and before you even realize it, you find yourself pushing against him.
"'im sorry-i'm sorry."
A lump builds up in your throat and as flashes of the past few weeks occupy every single space in your brain, your breathing increases-just as it gets harder to breathe. Just the thought of it all_
Your eyes are slowly flooded with warmth, announcing the tears gathering at your eyes. You need to leave. You need to go.
You choke on a sob.
You can't do this anym- "I know, honey. I've been there. I know." And with that, another sob loudly escapes your throat and a whimper follows.
"i've been there with Dad, i didn't realize we were doing that to you-i'm sorry. I see you. I really am sorry."
You shake your head as your cries fill the room, getting increasingly louder the harder Sam rubs your back. But that's not what you need. Not for them to see you-but for them to fucking stop.
"We'll stop. We'll talk. I promise."
You pull away from him, skeptical of a promise you doubt he can hold. And just as you're about to process that, Dean speaks.
"I'm sorry too." His honest tone makes you sigh. This isn't.what.i.want.
"Sam and i are sort've used to it- we lost sight of the fact that it wasn't affecting just us, but you as well. I really am sorry." Sam looks into your eyes and you slightly lean back, averting your gaze.
"It must've been really stresstful for you the past few weeks." Taken aback by his words, you pull your chin away from his hand and turn around, wiping at your tears before resting your hand against your forehead.
"we're sorry, kid."
You shrug, still mistrusftul. Mistrustful but hopeful. Because Sam and Dean are different, fights and bad things might accure but no matter how disconnected from each other they might be, they always come back to each other. And you are no different. You know them well enough.
Your silence is apprehended as anger. "Okay..We understand, we'll leave."
But it's not anger and it's most certainly not hatred. So you envelop Sam again and bury your face in his chest.
Maybe that'll be enough for him to understand?
His surprise manifests through his still figure. "Thank you, honey." That surprise quickly dissipates and he hugs you back. "It..."
"it's going to be okay, honey. We'll make it okay."
------
I hope it isn't too cringe or too cliché because like-who would say sorry in under a minute. But yeah anyway much love sorry byyiii 🍁🍁🍁❤️❤️❤️

--- human's period ☆゚.*・。゚
platonic!various x gn!human!reader
!! in my hc, na'vi women doesn't menstruate !!
jake and your friends takes care of you during your time of the month. basically just period comfort with momma jake
part 1 part 2!
Tumblr media
"they. peed. blood"
spider's terrified screech brings jake one thought;
periods.
and he was dammed right.
the moment he stepped into your marui, he found the kids circling around your bed. their faces contorted with worry yet suffers from cluelessness because they could only watch as you curl yourself into a ball. hand clutching your stomach as you cry into kiri’s lap.
his eyes darted to the blanket under your legs, wich were soaked with blood. jake clicks his tongue with sympathy, "poor baby"
your friends moved back, forming a circle behind jake as they watch him kneel on your bedside.
“this your first period?”
“yes. my... my second day, sir” you whimpered out a weak answer.
“they never left their marui until noon, and we found them like this”
“i never knew periods could get this worst”
“did they got shot?”
you were overwhelmed.
the staring, the murmurs, your marui being crowded. having to experience all of that stimulations mixed with your cramps, made you shake. jake could feel it once he puts his hand on your upper arm.
“will they die?”
“they wont, spider”
“bro, how do you know?”
“shh!”, finally neteyam hisses
even neteyam understand that their questions were all honest, yet stupid that jake doesn’t even spare them any care. his full attention is fixed on your vulnerable state.
“no, kiddo. don’t curl yourself up like that”
“it hurts", you groaned. another wave of pain shakes your entire body.
“baby, squeezing your stomach like that wouldn’t make it any better. lay normally”
“they would move if they can, dad”
kiri's words made his gaze soften. he could see your tiny body jerks slightly with every wave of pain that goes through you. you were sobbing, yet no sound comes out of your mouth
“im gonna help you, okay sweetie?”, jake gives your upper arm a comforting squeeze, “we’re gonna get through this together”
the warmth he offers makes you nod weakly. jake smiles, satisfied with your response. then he turned his head towards his daughter,
“do you have medicine for muscle cramps?” the girl looks at her father, clueless. but the confidence in jake’s voice sounds like he knows what he was doing. with that, kiri nods surely.
“i could come out with something”
“good”
kiri waves her hand at tsireya, signaling her to come closer. ever so gently, the beautiful metkayina moved your head to her lap so the sully could run off and complete her father’s demand
jake puts his other hand on tsireya's shoulder, “you stay to help them clean up, okay? and neteyam” his head turns towards his eldest, “get us warm water, son”
“yes, sir”
“what can we do?” lo’ak asks as his brother went running
“you boys could help, by giving them space”
your watery eyes met with jake's, whispering a weak thank you as your marui, at last, went quiet.
if jake had let them inside longer, you would’ve broke down because even with them being outside, their noises still fills your head
“what is this period? a disease?”
“you see spider, the female human body-”
tsireya could only sigh, “they are good friends, worrying over you like that. but they were being too loud"
"you're right kiddo. now its all quieted down, lets get you cleaned up, yeah?”
"yeah..."
not long after you could feel his warm hands coming down. lifting you up by behind your knees and back. you might think that your weight would have weighted him down, but to jake, it was like carrying a mere child
“tsireya, please get the blanket for me. oh good, the blood doesn't soak up your bed”
“i put the blanket there so when i leak, my bed doesn’t get soaked”, you grin
“great thinking”, tsireya chuckles. but her laugh quickly died out.
you were whimpering in pain.
jake was only settling you down on your bed, yet you look so hurt. “sorry sweetie”, jake whispers after you flinched some more. the man was just straightening your stiffen limbs
the girl approaches you, giving your hand a comforting squeeze.
“everything’s sore, hm?” jake tucks your bangs behind your ears as you nod helplessly.
“i guess i'll wash my blanket after i get better”
“no, you stay here” he ruffles your hair, standing up and grabs your bloody blanket from tsireya’s grasps.
“jake, you don’t have to”
he laughs, “kiddo. if you’ve raised 4 children, you’ve cleaned worst”
“but its gross”
jake looks at you with confusion. why do you have to bring yourself down like that, for something as natural as breathing? he bites his lip. he remembers someone who would insist that he doesn’t need to help wash her ‘dirty’ bloody blankets.
oh how you remind him of her.
he went back to his previous position, kneeling beside you. golden eyes fixed on yours.
“baby, what’s dirty could be cleaned. after all, what’s so dirty about blood?”
you went silent.
“period blood are as natural as snots, tears, and other body fluid you have. so, no biggie, yeah?”
“no... biggie” you repeated after him. a small smile on your lips
“atta girl” jake grins, his hand went up to wipe away your last tear. “i'm gonna wash this. and while i'm gone, tsireya will help you get cleaned up, okay?” and with your nod, he smiles and walk off.
he was about to step out to the beach, but tsireya’s worried call stopped him.
“will they be okay?”
“they will, kiddo" jake shoots her an assuring smile, "they are in good hands”
and he was right.
the second he walked back to your marui, he couldn’t help to stop on his tracks. your marui was filled with joyful chatter, meaning you were getting better. and he could hear laughing too. your laughs
“bro, i thought you were dying”
“oh please”
“no offence, but you do look like you were dying” jake recognize that voice. it was spider’s
then rotxo’s iconic snickers was heard,
“when ya called jake, what was the shit ya told him? somethin' bout them peein’ out blood?”
“spider!” you exclaimed, voice full of embarrassment
“oh, cmon boys. leave them alone”
jake’s chuckle startled all of you.
your marui went silent again. even rotxo shuts his mouth.
you never knew why, but the sudden awkwardness coming over every time jake steps in is unbearable. maybe it happens because none of you were used to the usually strict man being so loose.
“i... uh, i’ve washed your blanket. should dry by tomorrow”
“thank you” you smile at him. jake returned your smile.
your friends are around you, again. but this time, you didn’t seem to bother. you were enjoying they company, even. they were all sitting down near your bedside with empty bowls around their feet.
good, they had feed you
his eyes drift to your side where he found neteyam, pressing a small water sack on your stomach. presumably filled with warm water. but the ceramic mug you were holding catches his attention the most.
the mug was filled to the brim with liquid that smells almost sour. he recognize it. and its strong yellow color, brings him back home.
“kiri made them drink pee”
“i did not, ao’nung”, the girl rolls her eyes as rotxo’s ugly snort-laugh filled the room.
“hey, i know this”
their laughter died out.
jake kneeled beside you. he was looking into your mug with his gaze so soft and loving, you were afraid he was taking a liking to it.
“there’s tamarind and turmeric in it, right?”
kiri’s mouth went agape, “never knew you know herbs, dad”
“i’m not. but i’ve made this drink all my life”
“when?”
“you see, kid,” he looks at his son with a loving smile he rarely gives. his hand went up to squeeze neteyam’s shoulder.
“back on earth, your uncle tommy and i would make this drink for your gramma, when she was on her period” his golden eyes shows such softness as he gazes back into your drink.
it was just some mere drink, yet it was able to make the former toruk makto and olo’eyktan so soft.
“but of course,” he snickers, “we don’t need to boil real turmerics nor tamarinds. they sell it on instant packages”
no one laughs.
there was one question filling their heads, yet even rotxo’s loud mouth does not dare to ask.
where is she now?
lo’ak cleared his throat. “the period, was she in pain too?”
“yes, her whole body would turn so sore she couldn’t move. my dad was never really around, so tommy and i would be the ones running errands”
“oh, so the whole cramp thing is normal?”
“right, kiddo. that’s why you need all the support you can get during your period” he ruffles your hair, making you giggle.
“i need you all kids to take care of them, you got me? its already hard having periods on earth, its even harder when you are the only one having them, in this whole village”
“yes, sir”
“good. its turning dark. they needs rest" with jake’s words, the boys gives you an acknowledging looks before one by one steps out of your marui. not forgetting to bring their dirty dishes from their previous dinner. the girls however, are squeezing the life out of you with their hugs.
“come to me when your stomach’s all messed up. i would make you that drink again”
“yes, i will kiri”, you giggle.
“you know, if its hurting you too much”, tsireya starts, “maybe i could ask my mother to try to stop your periods”
you laugh, shaking your head at the thought of loosing your uterus, “no, reya. i will not, but thank you”
one last hug and the girls were off
“well, i guess my job here is done” neteyam smiles. he was the only one left beside you. his hand still pressing a water sack to your tummy,
“your trusty hot-water-sack-holder needs to go”
his smile turns brighter when you laugh.
“we should hang out tomorrow, teyam”
“yeah”, he whispers as he press his forehead on yours. a soft smile on his lips. your moment was quickly cut off by muffled laughs, your face went bright red as you realize the rest of them were all still standing near your marui
even his dad.
jake cleared his throat, “cmon, son, lets go”
their laughter broke as soon as neteyam approached them with burning cheeks, and was met with lo’ak’s playful swats on his shoulders that even the tips of his ears went flushed.
they weren’t so far away when you could hear spider’s voice,
“jake, when will i get my period?”
“men doesn’t get periods”
“ah shit... can i though, if i try hard enough?”
“just hold your shit in for a week, then you’ll get a period”
“that’ll be my ass bleeding”
their laughter broke once again. you too, couldn’t help but giggle. upon them, neteyam’s roaring laughter stand out the most. he was just glad they had stopped teasing him.

New Blood (Chapter 1)
This is my first TF story. I hope you enjoy and I have plenty of other ideas I've come up with for future stories.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would’ve been surprised if you told me how my first day at my new school turned out. My dad was transferred to a different branch at the job he worked at, so we were forced to move to a different state. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t miss my old town, but it’s not like I was that close with most of the people I went to school with anyways. On the bright side, being transferred to a new high school gives me the chance to start fresh and make some new friends. Little did I know how right I really was.
The first day started out about as boring as you could imagine. The teachers reciting the syllabus, introducing ourselves to the class, the usual mundane activities expected for the first day. However, all of that changed during 3th period. It was algebra, and normally I could care less. But it wasn’t the class that caught my attention, hell no. Class started as usual. The class was packed full of students, with nearly every seat taken. About 3 minutes into the class, class was interrupted by an opened door and a large figure.
He must’ve been 6’3”, making me who is 5’10" look like someone who hadn’t hit his growth spurt in comparison. His brunette hair, short and spiked with the sides shaved, helped to accentuate his angular face and his alluring emerald green eyes. He wore a football shirt that fit snugly against his chest and his bulky biceps bulged out of the sleeves. His thick thighs made his jeans a tight fit. They could definitely crush a watermelon. Perhaps even my face, I thought, as I admired the handsome man.
Tumblr media
“Sorry I was late, bro. Just got out late from my meeting with Coach”, the stud said, in a nonchalant, baritone voice. He sounded like your stereotypical jock.
“Don’t make this a regular thing, ‘bro’” our teacher grumbled. “I know you’re the team captain, but it doesn’t mean you can just barge in while I’m teaching.”
“Relax, dude. It’s just a one time thing.” he responded. Looks like he’s the big man on campus. He sure didn’t seem to care that he was late on the first day of school.
The giant scanned the room looking for a place to sit. First the right end of the room, then the middle, and then he looked towards the left, where I sat, and conveniently at the empty desk adjacent to me. For a split second, our eyes were staring right at each other, but my gaze veered the other direction out of embarrassment. The jock’s lips curved into a slight smirk as he began to walk into the rows of desks, accidentally bumping me with his massive size 15 foot.
“Sorry bro”, he said as he placed himself in the seat next to me. His nice round ass stood out to me as he made himself comfortable.
The class continued on as normal, but for some reason, I felt like I could concentrate even less than I could before. The beefcake next to me kept my mind preoccupied. He was the most attractive guy I’ve seen so far at this school, and I couldn’t help but be distracted by his perfect body. His toned body glistened, likely from the sweat of a morning jog, and I noticed a slight scent that affirmed that. I normally found the smell of sweat to be a little disgusting, but for him, it seemed to mix well with his natural aroma. The scent of a man.
“No. If a guy like him finds out that you’re gay, you’ll never hear the end of it,” I scolded myself in my head. I could already imagine myself being harassed by him and his meathead friends.
Strangely enough, just as I had been looking at him, I also felt like I was being watched as well. I must have been imagining things. I wouldn’t call myself unattractive, but I never caught the attention of other guys…let alone girls.
The teacher finished up with the material sooner than expected, so he stopped teaching for the rest of class until the bell rang. With about 10 minutes to spare before my next class, I reached into my pocket to grab my phone to kill time, but then I heard that same voice from before.
“Sup bro,” the hunk next to me greeted me. “I’ve never seen you before. You new here?”
This guy was talking to me. Wait, why was he talking to me? I was incredibly caught off guard, but I decided to play it cool and hide my embarrassment.
“Yeah, my name’s Jacob. My parents just moved into town the other week and now I’m here.”
“Damn, that sucks, but I hope you like it here. Nice to meet you Jacob. I’m Zach. You mind if I call you Jake for short?”
Most people called me by Jacob and I preferred it like that, but for him, I didn’t really mind.
“Sure, nice to meet you too,” I responded. He reached out his hand to shake mine, but my hand felt small engulfed in his meaty palms.
We spent the remaining time in class getting to know each other. The more I talked with Zach, the more I realized how we were basically complete opposites. He was as I expected, a stereotypical jock, only interested in sports and going to the gym and I was anything but that. I could tell through his attitude that he was full of confidence, maybe even bordering on arrogance, but he still seemed rather agreeable. Despite our obvious differences, we actually got along surprisingly well. I expected him to be some brute, some bully, but he was actually a pretty fun, chill guy. He actually gave me his number too. The bell rang and we both packed up our supplies into our backpacks.
“Hey man, so where’s your next class?” Zach asked.
“Room 214. Must be on the second floor,” I replied.
“Oh cool. I’m actually headed that way too. Don’t worry, I know this school like the back of my hand!”
We walked up the stairs to the second floor and down the hallway.
“Hey, so lunch is coming up and I don’t know if you have anywhere to sit yet,” Zach inquired.
I had completely forgotten about lunch. At my old school, it wasn’t uncommon for me to sit by myself. I was the kind of guy who didn’t really mesh well with any crowd and I had few close friends.
“I don’t, why?” I responded.
“I just figured that because you’re new, you might want somewhere to sit. You can come sit with us.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, the guys on the team are cool. I doubt they’d mind since you know me.” I imagined myself feeling out of place amongst the burly football jocks. Still, it was better than nothing.
“I might take you up on that offer,” I replied.
“Great, bro!” Zach smiled. His bright grin was contagious, and I felt a smile on my face as well. “I hope to see you there.” He patted me on the shoulder with his firm hands before we parted ways. Our classrooms, however, were conveniently right next to each other.
I felt like I could concentrate even less than I could during 3rd period. Thoughts of early US history blurred in my mind as the image of Zach lingered. Why was he being so nice to me of all people? Despite my curiosity, I started to think of him as a friend. For some reason, I felt myself drawn to him.
After an eternity, the bell rang for lunch, and I walked to the cafeteria. I got lost on the way there, as I was still unfamiliar with the layout of the building. As I walked past each table, I felt the impression that I was an outsider. Most tables were full of students, with few seats left open for me. It was like everyone else already knew each other, and that there was no place for me. Until I heard that voice again.
“Yo, Jake!” Zach shouted, his words breaking through the endless sea of mindless chatter. I turned my head to the right and saw him and several other members of the football team at a large table. How did I miss it? It’s a big table for big guys. “Did you get lost or something?”
“Yeah, kinda.”
“Sorry about that, bro. Come sit down!” He moved over, giving me room to squeeze in. He introduced me to the team, and it seems like he already told them about me, so they were eager to meet me. I recognized one person from my previous class.
“You’re…Bradley right?” I asked.
“Yeah, but call me Brad. No one except my brother calls me that anymore.” he answered. He wasn’t as tall as Zach, standing at a respectable and exact 6 feet tall. He was, however, a lot bulkier than Zach, who was more toned in comparison, but he wasn’t fat. His hair was shaved into a short blonde buzzcut and he had deep blue eyes. I recalled him falling asleep for a bit during last class. The bro must not have gotten enough sleep last night.
Zach, Brad, and the other guys talked about sports and working out after class, and other stuff that a stereotypical jock would talk about. I did my best to include myself in the conversation, but I felt kinda lost keeping up and I felt like a bit of a poser compared to them. I knew only basic level sports knowledge and I had never lifted a weight in my life. If only I was more like them.
Despite that, I actually got along with them better than I expected, and I was glad to know that they were more like Zach than I had anticipated. They did make fun of me for not knowing certain players or who won the game last night. However, I didn’t get the impression that it was malicious, but rather more playful, like how one would joke around with his bros. Even though I clearly looked and felt out of place, I found myself enjoying their company and I tried to absorb whatever knowledge the jocks discussed like a sponge. What felt like an entire day of hanging with the bros was only half an hour as the bell rang and the crowd of students emptied the cafeteria to depart for their next class. I said my farewells to Zach’s friends and made my way to my next class. Zach, instead of staying with his fellow teammates, pursued me and joined me, walking at my side.
“Hey, thanks for sitting with us, bro. I told you they’d like you.”
“Of course…” I replied, unsure of what to say, but I smiled. “I did feel like a fish out of water, but I did have a good time.”
“No worries, bro. I kinda figured you would feel out of place, but you did great. Give it time and I’m sure you’ll fit right in.” Zach smirked. “You just gotta get out of your comfort zone, man.”
“I guess I never thought of it like that,” I was surprised at Zach’s different perspective. “Maybe I could be as strong as the rest of you are and throw balls around someday,” I joked, as the idea of me being like one of them felt unrealistic to me.
Zach chuckled and gave me a wink. “Who knows? Life is full of surprises. Anyways, my class is this way, but I think we have the same class next period. Later, bro!”
The rest of the day went by quick, and was relatively uneventful. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, school was over, and I could finally go home. I thrusted myself into my bed, overwhelmed by my first day of school., but for once, I was actually kinda happy to be there. I met Zach, Brad, and a bunch of other guys on my very first day. Zach specifically lingered in my mind, and I recollected every inch of his body in my mind. I started to get hard picturing every exquisite detail, and I couldn’t help but bust my load to him. Eventually day turned to evening and evening turned to night, and I closed my eyes, wondering what the rest of the year had in store for me.
The next two weeks came and went and I became accustomed to the new school and my new friends. I went to class, ate with the football team at lunch, and I even started to hang out with Zach more. He offered to help me with the gym if I helped him with some of his schoolwork. I agreed obviously, as I wouldn’t mind building some muscle. It was always good to help a bro out and also I just wanted to be closer to him. As I helped him with math and science, he helped me with lifting weights and exercises. I struggled at first, but eventually I started to notice some improvements and I could tell he was proud.
Whenever we finished studying or working out, we spent the rest of the night watching sports or playing video games. Zach had to explain the rules to me, but I started to understand football on a surface level. Other than that, I got invited to a party at Brad’s place, and I had a great time partying and drinking with Zach and the football team. During those weeks, I was probably the happiest and most social I have ever been in my life.
The following week was when everything changed. One day before lunch, I was approached by someone who I have never seen before. He wasn’t very tall, standing at a modest 5’8”. He looked babyfaced with his nerdy, boyish looks and blonde hair, and his glasses helped to emphasize his meek blue eyes. I think he was a year below me.
“My name is Braden.” He said. “You’re the new kid who’s friends with Zach, right?”
“Yeah I am. My name’s Jake…I mean Jacob.” I responded. For a second, I found myself using the name Zach and the other jocks called me.
“I think you should stay away from him. He’s bad news.”
“What’s wrong with Zach?” I asked. Zach had been nothing but good to me since we met. I couldn’t imagine him having any malicious intent. He even took care of me at the party when I was black-out drunk for the first time.
“Ever since my brother started hanging out with him, he started acting… weird. He was never into football or anything, but now he’s on the team and he looks and acts like a completely different person.”
“I…What are you talking about?” I was seriously confused about what he meant.
“I’m serious! Unless you want to end up like just another jock…”
“Hey, Jake! How’s it going?” Zach cut in, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we were talking about him. “And you’re Brad’s brother, right?” Braden avoided eye contact with his brother’s friend.
I felt a sense of urgency, as I felt like I was going to be late. “I’ve gotta get to lunch. It was nice meeting you, Braden!” I said as me and Zach walked to lunch together. What the hell was his deal anyways?
“Braden’s a weird dude. Don’t worry about what he says,” Zach informed me, trying to ease the mood.
Later that week, I was hanging out at Zach’s place again after a workout, helping him with the algebra quiz that was next class. I helped him understand the concepts better and we wrapped up reviewing the study guide, so we finished and we laid down on his bed.
“Hey man, I’ve been thinking…” Zach started, but he sounded rather hesitant, unlike his usual confident self. “What would you think about joining the football team?”
“I…” I was honestly kinda surprised. Why would he want me, of all people, to join? I wasn’t unathletic, but even working out with him would not have prepared me to play football. “I’m flattered you would want me, but I don’t think I have what it takes. Plus, I’m not like you guys at all,” I answered.
“That’s fine, bro. Me and Coach can help condition you to become the jock I know you want to be.”
“Condition?” I was confused, unsure about what he meant by that.
“I know how much you want to be like us, bro,” For some reason, the word bro sent shivers down my spine. He had a devious look on his face. “And I can see your potential. That’s why I chose you. It helped that you’re the new kid anyways so no one will notice if you turned into another jock. I made that mistake with Brad and now that kid Braden won’t leave me alone.”
Zach paused, realizing that he said too much, but at this point, there was no going back. Despite his malicious intent, I got hard at the thought of being one of them, of being one with the team. My friends were always there for me the past few weeks and we had a strong bond despite our differences. I looked up to them, and wished I was more like them.
“That’s not the only reason I chose you…” Zach rolled over, climbing on top of me, his heavy, muscular body pinning me down, his legs straddled between mine, his sweat from the workout from earlier spreading through my nostrils. “I knew you were gay. I could just tell. But that’s okay, because so am I. You’re cute enough as you are now, but I think you would look better standing side-by-side with me, looking, thinking, and acting like me. Don’t you agree?”
I was overwhelmed by the situation, and by Zach’s sudden change in behavior. But I subconsciously nodded as my cock throbbed in my pants. Whether my mind or my dick was thinking first, I could not tell you.
“If you join the team, I’ll be yours, and you’ll be mine. How does that sound, bro?”
I tried to weigh my options. I thought about the kind of person I was. Who was I before I came here? Before I met Zach? I…I was nobody. I didn’t have any friends here. Zach took me in. My mind was fixated on the man in front of me. I realized I longed for him. I longed for the team and my bros. I longed for football. I longed for working out. And that’s when everything became clear. I longed to become a jock like him.
“That sounds awesome, bro,” I answered. Bro? I never said bro before. I guess Zach was really starting to rub off on me. I gave into temptation, but I knew that it was what I secretly desired ever since I met him.
“That’s a good bro…” Zach responded, obviously pleased with my answer. A seductive smirk lit up his face as he pressed his lips to mine. We enjoyed that moment for what felt like several lifetimes, but in reality it was actually only a few minutes of sweet passion. At this point, I felt like my cock was about to burst. At this point, I desired him. Zach noticed the raging bulge in my pants. “I know you wanna fuck, but I can’t give you what you want just yet. You will meet me in Coach’s office after class tomorrow. After we finish your transformation, then you can cum.”
“Yes, bro…” I muttered, keeping my erection under control. The rest of the evening was surprisingly normal between us, almost like the erotic scene that had just taken place was something out of a fever dream or a hallucination. We played some video games to kill time and to lighten the mood. The only reason I knew it was real was because of the firm erection that lingered in my pants. Eventually I said goodbye to Zach and went home.
“Remember to meet me after school. And just remember, you can still back out if you want…but I have a feeling you won’t,” Zach sneered, looking down at my pulsating serpent. Despite his words, however, I knew that my mind had already crossed the point of no return.
The next day was unbearable. The anticipation of what awaited me after this long day was killing me. What made it worse were the classes where I had Zach. He could tell that I was finding it hard to focus, and it felt like he was edging me with his mind. I could barely concentrate on the algebra quiz we studied for the night prior. I could only think about joining the football team and I imagined what it would be like to be a jock. I’d be big and strong, sexy, athletic. I would fit right in with all my bros. Working out together, practicing together, winning and celebrating together.
During lunch, Zach announced that I would be joining the team, and the group of football jocks cheered and welcomed me to the team. One of them said it was only a matter of time until I decided to join, and I couldn’t really deny it. I looked at each member of the team, and I wondered how I would look compared to them. For a second, I remembered Braden’s words, but I quickly shrugged them off. He made it seem like my transformation would be a bad thing, but a nerd like him could never understand. This is what I desired. This was what I was destined for. And I kept those words in my head, as the clock turned to the end of the school day.
As soon as the final bell rang, I immediately rushed over to the locker room. I saw Zach in his white and red football uniform, missing only his helmet, and, having never seen him in this outfit before, I thought he looked perfect in it. And soon, so would I.
“You’re here early, bro,” he said. “You’re even more eager than I expected. Coach isn’t here yet, but I can explain the details to you.”
He led me towards the back, where he pulled out several pieces of clothing that would become synonymous with my new identity. A jersey already stitched with my name on it, tight compression pants and a compression shirt, football cleats, shoulder pads, a jockstrap, and a sturdy helmet that would adorn my head like a king would wear his crown.
“Put it on.”
I complied. I was a little disappointed at first, as the clothing looked at least a size above what I would normally wear. “No worries, you’ll grow into them quick, trust me.”
As I put on my new uniform, I started to become curious. What was this all about? So I asked him, “What’s the point of all of this anyways?”
“I guess there’s no reason to hide it anymore,” he responded. “To be honest, I was kinda like you once. I wasn’t really athletic like I am now, but my dad was actually a professional football player. He was forced to retire early due to a bad injury, but despite that, I wanted to do what he couldn’t. But no matter how hard I tried, I could never be the player I wanted to be. That all changed when Coach learned of my struggles and we worked together to make me into the football jock I had always dreamed of. Eventually, after about a year of testing, we found a way and that’s how I became who I am now. For once, I was strong, athletic, and confident, and it never felt forced or fake. Like this was who I really was all my life. Since then, similar studies were done at different high schools and colleges across the US. You wouldn’t know about any of that, because it’s all behind closed doors. Eventually, I found you and I realized that you were probably just as lost as I was, so I kinda took advantage of that. Sorry, I guess I’m not the kind of guy you thought I was.”
I had no idea that’s how Zach truly felt. I sympathized with him despite him hiding so much from me. We came from different backgrounds, but we both wanted the same thing. To be better, and to be stronger. Even after he poured his heart out to me and told me the truth, he was still Zach to me. I cared for him and he cared for me. He opened my eyes to a new world full of different possibilities. And so, I pushed my lips into his and our tongues wrestled for dominance. We were stopped by footsteps approaching. We returned to normal as Coach walked into the room, oblivious to the fact that we were making out seconds prior outside of our rosy cheeks.
“So you’re the kid Zach’s been talking about. I’m Coach Myers.” the man said. “I’m guessing he told you everything. Do you have any questions before we get started?”
“No sir,” I answered.
“In that case, let’s go into my office.” I obliged eagerly. There’s no going back. “Have a seat, sign these forms, and put these on.” They were earbuds. I signed my name on every form, formally granting my consent to join the team, and likely whatever changes would occur to me. In front of me was an old TV with a VCR. “You will watch and listen to this video for the full duration. You will notice some changes and you might feel a little uncomfortable. All you have to do is relax and focus on the video.” I did as he said. I sat down in my new football uniform, and I put the earbuds in both ears, and then finally put my helmet onto my head. With everything prepared, Zach turned off the lights, and the TV turned on, playing a video.
With the helmet over my head, my peripheral vision was restricted. I had little choice but to look at what was directly in front of me. My eyes became fixated on the screen in front of me as they became entranced by the flowing spiral. As I fell deeper into a trance, I felt as though my mind and body were on the opposite ends of the world. The audio was hard to make out, but somehow I felt like I understood it, at least subconsciously.
After a period of time that my mind couldn’t possibly comprehend, the imagery began to change. I started to make out clips of football players, playing football, being part of a team, throwing and catching the ball, tackling my opponents, strategies and plays. I learned the proper workouts and techniques and exercises that a football player would do. What at one time felt foreign to me felt like common knowledge, like I had done this my entire life. It was muscle memory, no pun intended.
It was at this moment that my body started to change. No. Change isn’t the right word. Evolve. I noticed my average-sized arms start to bulge, my biceps and triceps inflating like they were being pumped. Next, my shoulders expanded and became more sturdy, making my shoulder pads fit a little better. Then, my chest pumped out, my pecs eager to fill the empty space in my oversized jersey along with my new six-pack. Following that, my legs thickened until they felt tight in my compression pants, and my ass inflated like a balloon into a nice, round bubble butt. Below that, my feet grew longer and more wide, filling the size 15 shoes that my formerly size 11 feet would have had trouble walking around in. My penis, still erect, grew from an average 5 inches to an impressive 8 inches, feeling more and more aroused by the increasing stimulation and the surplus of testosterone flowing through my body. Finally, I felt my blonde medium length hair thin and become more like my teammates with shaved sides and a short top. Any chubbiness in my face disappeared as my facial features sharpened, especially my jawline and my chin, giving myself a more masculine look.
While all of this was happening, my mind was swirling and every part of me was being drained or replaced. I found that I was losing interest in most of my old hobbies, but the idea of playing and watching sports, working out, partying, having sex, and hanging out with the bros felt so much more enticing and appealing than it did before. I started to realize that I didn’t really care much about school or learning anymore, and that playing sports was the only real reason why I came to school. I was never the best student, but I always did my best. However, I realized that none of that mattered as long as I kept good enough grades to stay on the team. C’s get degrees, am I right? At worst, I could always bribe one of the smarter kids to do my homework for me.
Then, my mindset began to change. Before, I was introverted, polite, and humble. But now? I was outgoing, confident, and cocky, and I started to love the idea of that. It started to become unbelievable that I was ever not like this. I was always like this. As the changes in my mind were taking effect, I felt part of me overwhelmed by all the changes and trying to resist, but that stray thought was snuffed out like a candle, as the rest of my thoughts were drained from my mind. Any part of my former self’s mind was absorbed into my balls, which were swollen to the size of grapefruit at this point. As the changes in my body and mind reached its climax, so did my aching cock. As the video concluded, the words became more clear, and I could make out one phrase repeating over and over.
“You are a jock.”
It was at this point that I could finally release all my pent-up frustration from the past 24 hours. It was the best orgasm of my life. And just like that, load after load of my burning, sticky cum flooded my jockstrap, and with it, the memories of the old me were released from my body.
“Looks like someone made a mess,” Zach teased. “No worries, bro. It happens. How do you feel?” he asked as he put his arm around my shoulder. This time it felt different though, because I truly felt like one of the bros.
Jacob was gone. Jake took his place. I’m Jake, Jake the jock. My memories felt distorted but they were starting to become clear. I grew up always with a ball in my hand. I was naturally talented in any sport I played, but I gravitated towards football. I played it at my old school and I was among the best on the team. However, my dad got a new job and we were forced to move here. Thankfully, we were fortunate to live near a school with a gifted football program. I became friends with Zach and the football team, and naturally, I signed up for the team. And Zach? He was not just my bro or my best friend. He eventually became my boyfriend and the rest of the team supported our relationship. All of this felt so real to me, and a cocky smirk appeared on my unfamiliar face.
“Bro…I feel awesome,” I responded, my new, deeper voice matching both my new physique and personality. I looked down at my new body. It was like I hit puberty for the second time. I stood up, realizing that I was now several inches taller, now standing at a solid 6’2”. I was almost as tall as Zach, and I didn’t have to look up at him now. I felt like we were finally equals in terms of body and status.
“I told you you’d look amazing, bro,” he said as he gave me a peck on the cheek. “You should clean yourself up and get ready for practice. The other guys will never let it go if you come to your first practice with cum staining your uniform. Oh, and thanks Coach. Glad you could help both of us out.”
“Always glad to help out my star player,” Coach chuckled. “As for you, I think you turned out better than any of them yet. You might even give Zach a run for his money.” I felt a sense of pride being compared to him.
I quickly left Coach’s office and cleaned myself off. I changed into clothes that Zach lent me that would fit my new body better, and ran off to practice. Before that though, I stared at myself in the mirror so I could get my first glimpse of the new me. The person in front of me was completely unrecognizable to me, but I quickly grew comfortable with the jock in the mirror and I smiled at the person I had become. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of the flexing hunk that stood before me.
Tumblr media
Time passed and my new life became more and more normal to me. I would go to school, hang out with the football team, go to practice, work out, and then hang out with Zach. It became a natural routine to me, and I was never happier. My grades dropped a bit because I was focused on football. It’s not that I can’t care about learning. I just don’t want to. Coach says it’s alright as long as I pass my classes.
For the first time, I felt a true sense of camaraderie with a group of guys, and especially Zach. It felt like we were joined at the hip. We were a pair both on the field and off it. We’re currently undefeated this year and I think we might even reach regionals.
Most of my classmates and peers barely noticed my changes since I was already new and to them, I blended in as yet another stereotypical football jock. The only people with an immediate reaction were my parents. They were a little surprised by my sudden changes, but they were supportive of my new passion for football and they were glad to see me making friends and staying active. I did remember one person who definitely would mind my changes.
Braden.
A week or so after my transformation, he walked up to me, obviously disappointed, with a look of shame on his face, and told me that I should’ve listened to him. I brushed aside his comments. He called me a dumb jock. I told him I was happier this way, but he refused to believe me. He wouldn’t accept it. He said that he was going to expose the football team somehow, and change everyone who was affected back, including me and Brad. He stormed off, hoping to find some way to expose us.
I didn’t show it on my face, but in my mind I was furious. I genuinely didn’t want to turn back and I didn’t want the football team to be suspended or shut down. I thought about Zach, about his dreams, and about mine. I wanted nothing more than for the two of us to live out our dreams together of being the best football jocks ever. I couldn’t let Braden figure out the truth. I have to stop him. I started to brainstorm ideas on how to keep him quiet.
A devious idea entered my mind. He wouldn’t want to snitch on us if we turned him into a jock first. He was obviously a little envious of me, of Zach, even his big brother. I’m sure he would grow to appreciate the idea if he just accepted it. Besides, I’m sure he would make a sexy football jock with his looks already. The idea of turning someone into a jock, corrupting them, awakening their true desires became so appealing to me, just like Zach had did for me. He’ll understand one day.

A/N: Your wish is my command <3 I hope you enjoy it! This one is more wholesome so let me know if you want something more spicyyyy-
Characters: Aaron Hotchner, Reader Y/N, Jack Hotchner, BAU team
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner X Reader
Warnings: Jack is lost at the beginning and Hotch saves them ,but just a lot of fluff after. (Let me know if I missed anything!)
Summary: You didn't expect your day to begin with finding a lost kid, but it wasn't exactly a bad start...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N was enjoying a morning walk, the beautiful scenery of the park relaxing her. It was a crisp day, a cool breeze gently brushing through the leaves.
Suddenly, a young boy - maybe around the age of six or seven - ran up to her, a worried glint in his eyes. "I can't find my dad," He murmured, looking around and scratching his neck.
"Oh, uhm, okay. Do you need help finding him?" Y/N asked, a nervous panic bubbling up within her. The boy nodded frantically, picking at his nails.
She took a deep breath, realizing that she needed to stay calm to keep him calm. "Okay, I can do that. What's your name, sweetheart?" She questioned as she crouched down, meeting him at eye level.
He allowed her to take his hands, holding them carefully. "Jack. My dad was with me, but then I walked off and he was gone." She nodded along as he spoke, making sure he understood she was listening.
"Alright, Jack, why don't we walk around and look for him, okay?" She offered, and he nodded again, already studying the area around him. They walked around for a minute, Jack calling out for his dad every few seconds.
A man walked up to them, a small smile on his lips. "Hey, buddy. We were lookin' everywhere for you." He ignored her presence, only focusing on the boy. She instinctively pulled him back a bit, hunching over a bit to speak to him better.
"Do you know him, Jack?" She asked him and Jack shook his head. The man cut in, now reaching out to grab the boy. "I'm his dad's friend. Come on, Jake."
Jake.
She pulled him behind her back, shielding him with her body. "No, I think he should stay with me." She started walking backwards, Jack stumbling back with her. She was holding his wrist - maybe a little too tight - not letting the man get closer.
He kept walking towards them, insisting he take Jack with him. Out of the blue, a man jogged over and stepped in front of her. He grabbed his wallet out of his pocket and flipped it open.
"Agent Hotchner, FBI. Can we help you?" He nearly spat at the man, staring down at him with a cold gaze. The guy stepped back, clearing his throat and raising his hands. He mumbled something incoherent as he stormed off.
"Daddy!" Jack beamed, running out from behind her and hugging the agent. He wrapped an arm around him and smiled, planting his hand on top of his head. "Hey, buddy. You okay?"
Jack nodded and pointed at the young woman. "She helped me from the bad guy, daddy." He explained and she let out a nervous laugh. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put him in danger. I was just trying to help."
The man smiled and stuck his hand out. "I'm Aaron, thank you for looking out for him." She accepted his handshake and smiled, still a bit hesitant. "I'm Y/N, nice to meet you. And of course, I'm glad you found him."
She gave an awkward wave and turned to walk away, but Aaron cleared his throat. "Hey, actually, do you want to hang out with us for a bit?" He offered, and she noticed how Jack's face lit up. She let out an airy laugh and shrugged.
"Sure, why not."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They had spent the day talking and playing with Jack. He was a bit shy at first, but once they started tossing a soccer ball around he came out of his shell completely.
After soccer, Jack heard an ice-cream truck and begged his dad to get some. He agreed, and he paid for all of them to get popsicles. When Jack went to go run around - both of them now keeping a watchful eye - she insisted she pay him back.
"It's just ice-cream, Y/N. You don't have to worry about it." He chuckled, throwing the sticks into the trash. Her cheeks were a bit flushed, unreasonably embarrassed about the situation. "Are you sure? I mean - we just met." She argued, and his smile grew.
"Yeah, but a favor for a new friend doesn't hurt." He flashed a grin at her and she bit her lip, a laugh slipping out. "Okay, okay. I surrender." She joked, and they continued on with casual conversation, moving to sit down on a bench.
Out of curiosity, she asked about his job and she was dumbfounded. He explained cases they've worked on and briefly explained some of his co-workers.
"Wow! That sounds horrible!' She snorted, non-stop giggling as he told her about an average work day. He couldn't help but laugh along with her, her radiant smile becoming contagious.
"It's not for everyone, that's for sure, but it's nice being able to help people." He explained and she nodded, her laughter subsiding. They continued to chat about it, and she lit up with excitement when he mentioned a case she knew.
"I listened to that on a podcast! You solved that?" She beamed, and he nodded, finding her joy adorable. "Yeah, it was a challenge." He added, and they compared what they knew about it.
She quickly cleared her throat and nudged him with her knee when she noticed Jack running up to them. He rambled about a cool bug that he saw for a bit before Aaron's phone rang. He excused himself and took the call.
He came back and Jack was noticeably bummed, and she had a guess as to why. "I have to go, we just got a case." He sighed, and she nodded, standing up to give him a hug goodbye.
"It was nice hanging out with you. If you want, we can exchange numbers and maybe... hang out again?" She prodded, and Jack nodded rapidly, making both of them chuckle.
"Of course, I'd love to."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emily and David were chatting by JJ's desk, waiting for her to return with snacks. They were planning to watch a movie in the conference room with the rest of the team. It was their day off and they felt like they earned it.
Emily glanced over when she noticed a young woman looking around, appearing to be lost. She had a visitors badge clipped onto her shirt. Both the agents noted that she looked nice, as if she was going out.
"New agent?" Rossi asked, and Emily shook her head. "No, she might be here to see Strauss, or Garcia because of that seminar thing she did." He raised his brows and flattened his lips, a nonverbal sign of agreement.
Emily walked over to her, gently tapping her shoulder. "Hi, are you here to see someone?" She asked and Y/N looked up at her, an awkward smile tugging at her lips. "Yeah, actually. Uhm, is Aaron here?"
The agent's eyes widened, now reciprocating her smile. "Yeah, his room is up-" She started but was cut off by Aaron's door swinging open. "Hey, Y/N!" He had a huge grin on his face, waving her over.
She gave a quick goodbye to the agent in front of her before happily speeding up the stares, quickly getting engulfed in a tight bear hug. "Aaron! I missed you!"
He ruffled her hair and invited her into his office, now leaving them behind closed doors. JJ was now in the room, jaw nearly on the floor. "Did you guys see that?" She asked, and both Rossi and Emily nodded, confusion evident on all of their faces.
Shortly after, Derek, Penelope and Spencer all walked in, arguing over what movie the group should watch. Spencer raised a brow when he noticed the hushed conversation between the trio in front of them. "What are you guys whispering about?"
After explaining the situation to the rest of the gang, everyone was coming up with their own theories. "Wait, what about movie night?" Garcia gasped, and Morgan chuckled. "Babygirl, seriously?"
Aaron and Y/N stepped out of his office, laughing and whispering to each other. The two made their way down the stairs, seemingly oblivious to the group not too far away.
Aaron's alarm went off on his phone and he reached into his pocket. "I'll meet you by the elevator," He stated, pressing a kiss to her cheek. She nodded and left the room, the glass door blurring her a bit as she walked away.
He turned and now realized the group that had been staring him down. He took a minute to think of what to say, shrugging and rubbing his jaw.
"Sorry guys, I have my own movie date planned." He admitted, quickly making his way out of the room. "Don't worry, you guys will get to meet her another time, shes the best." He added with a smile, something the team didn't often see.
Once the two disappeared down the elevator, Spencer scoffed in amusement. "He smiled" David nodded, a shit-eating grin on his face.
"Love is in the air."

HOW THEY WOULD MAKE YOUR KIDS GO TO BED (pt. 1?)
So like you're always the one to take the kids to bed right? Since your husband always comes home late since he's busy with hero work. So now you go out with the girls for a girls night, you leave your husband and your kid/s at home and tell your husband to get the kids to sleep by 8:30 (since sleep is important HAHXHAHAHAHAH) anyways you leave your child in the hands of your husband, not knowing what kind of shit they been through while you were gone..
Ft: Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero
IZUKU MIDORIYA
He tries to get the kid to bed and fails miserably. He couldnt handle that little pouty face and those big puppy eyes.
"Mommy said to go to bed by 8:30 didn't she? Well look at the time honey it's 8:30" Izuku says as he tries to calm your kid down.
"NO! I DONT WANNA! I DONT WANNA!" Your kid shouts back as a reply and sticks out their tongue at your husband. "I just wanna stay up and watch All Might!"
Izuku sighs and tries again "Come on baby.. Mommy's gonna be mad at me if you dont sleep right now, we can watch tomorrow yeah?"
Cue the puppy dog eyes. "Please?" Kid bats their eyelashes at your man and he completely loses it.
You come home at around 11:47 and you find your husband and your kid on the couch dressed up in All Might onesies as an All Might video played on the screen.
"Couldn't get them to sleep?" You chuckle as you take off your coat.
"I am so sorry honey" Izuku sighs with a defeated tone "They gave me a hard time"
You just laugh softly and walk over to them, planting a kiss on your husband's cheek "Now you know what I go through while you're at work" you sit down beside them as your child offers you a bowl of popcorn. "Want some, Mommy?" they say as they beam at you. You laugh and ruffle their hair "Dont think that you arent in trouble for staying late, honey"
"But mommm, this is the only time i get to spend time with dad, just us two" They plead as they give a pouty face. You sigh and smile, "I guess you're right" you look at Izuku as he gives you a big thumbs up. You shrug "I guess I can let this slide" You smile. "YAYYYY!!" your child exclaims as you pull you child and husband for a hug. "Thanks honey" Izuku whispers at you, giving you a kiss on the lips.
"Daddd" you kid averts their eyes. "EWWWW!!" he shouts as you and Izuku laughs.
KATSUKI BAKUGOU
Man is having a hard time getting this kid to bed. Since this dude has a sleep schedule of a grandpa, bro's shouting at his kid to get tf to sleep or else he's gonna blow their face up. Ofcourse the kid counters his attacks with the same stubborn attitude until you come home and find them in the kid's bedroom.
"GO TO SLEEP YOU BRAT!" Katsuki shouts. "HELL NO OLD MAN! I AINT GONNA LISTEN TO YOU AND YOUR STUPID SLEEP SCHEDULE!" Your kid fights back.
"MOM LETS ME STAY LATER THAN THIS TIME!"
"WELL I AINT YOUR MOM SO SUCK IT AND GET YOUR ASS TO SLEEP!"
"NO! YOU SUCK IT AND SWALLOW! IM NOT LISTENING TO YOU!"
"YOU DARE TALK BACK TO ME?"
"YEAH THAT'S HOW A CONVERSATION WORKS!"
"WHY YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-"
And they go on and on for hours until the neighbors call you about the noise and you have no choice to go home. You mutter angrily as you drive home. You throw your shoes on the shoe rack and drop your coat off on the couch, marching angrily towards the kid's room. When you opened the door you were not expecting to see them on the bed asleep, your kid on Katsuki's chest as he held an arm around them. On the floor was a pile of board games and book. You sigh and smile softly at the sight, walking towards the edge of the bed Katsuki stirs in his sleep, he blinks his eyes and his gaze fixes upon you.
"Oh, hey baby" He sits up, careful not to wake up your kid. "You're home early"
"I sure am" You chuckle as you kneel down and pick up the boxes of games and books off the floor. "The neighbors told them they heard a commotion, inside our home" You look up at him with tired eyes.
Katsuki sits up and sets your kid on the bed "Sorry 'bout that, baby.. Kid wasn't listening to a word I said.." He says scratching his neck. "I shoulda tried a more different approach than yelling eh?"
"It's fine, babe" You stand up and kiss your husband's cheek. You set the games and books on the nightstand and lean into his ear "But you owe me for ruining my night out"
Katsuki takes your hand and looks you in the eye "I think I sure do" He smirks.
SHOTO TODOROKI
He does try to get the kid to sleep, but the kid is too stubborn. He doesn't want to be like his dad towards his kid, so he does the only logical thing that comes into his mind. He just lets them do what ever.
"You need to sleep now, your mom told me that you need to sleep by this time" Shoto says to his kid who he has already tucked comfortably in bed.
His kid just pouts "But daddd, I wanna stay up late. Mommy rarely makes me stay up late! Plus, it's just us" your child kicks off their blanket and scooches closer to your husband. "I wanna spend time with you daddy! You're always busy at work, I wanna spend time with you" You kid smiles happily and Shoto just crumbles.
"Alright... but don't tell your mom"
"YES!"
You come home to them in the living room playong tea house with a cartoon playing on the tv. Stuffed toys (all having bows and other assorted accessories) were seated all around them. Shoto was dressed up in one of your dresses with his hair done. He was holding up a tea cup while your child was pouring non existent tea into it. You smile at the sight
"What happened to "asleep by 8:30?" " You chuckle as you walked towards them.
Shoto just shrugged before drinking his non existent tea and holds his tea cup for his child to refill it, "I couldn't say no to that face, plus it's non everyday I get to spend time with them like this, I wanna give them the childhood they deserve. I dont want them growing up like me" He says as he looks at you apologetically. "Sorry"
You laugh softly as you sit beside him, giving him a kiss on the cheek "Dont apologize honey, Im glad you're doing this for our baby. You can stay up for as long as you like, just dont blame me if you're both cranky in the morning"
"YAYYYYY!" you child exclaims as they jump up and down happily
Shoto chuckles and gives you a soft kiss "Thank you, honey"
EIJIROU KIRISHIMA
He tries to be the bad cop at first, getting your kid to bed and all, but then your kid starts to throw a tantrum saying they dont want to sleep yet. Your husband keeps on insisting that they have to listen and sleep, but then you kid pulls put the fucking puppy eyes on your husband and he completely loses.
"Come on, pebble! Didn't mommy say that bed time is 8:30? Look at the time! It's time to sleep!" Eijirou says enthusiastically, trying to get your toddler to sleep.
Instead they stick out their tongue and throw a tantrum. "No! I dont wanna! I dont wanna!"
"Hey dont shout at me! I already gave you ice cream after dinner even though im not supposed to! You better listen or I am not holding back" Eijirou says trying to make your kid go to sleep.
"No!" your kid pouts. "I do not want to sleep yet!" They look at Eijirou with puppy eyes. "Please, please, pleaseeee, daddy?" cue the eyelash batting
Eijirou fucking Kirishima on the other hand, loses it, COMPLETELY.
You unlock the front door and hear noise coming from the kid's bedroom. You walk towards it and open the door. Your kid and husband was sound asleep pn the bed... or so they thought they had you fooled. Scattered on the floor were action figures and dolls, and on Eijirou's head was a little bow headband. They pretended to snore noisily and you saw your kid peeking to see if you left, then went back to snoring.
You sniffle a laughter as you walk towards them and drape a blanket on top of them.
"Oh wow I guess they did a good job of going to bed eh?" You say loudly and start walking to the door. "Well too bad, they wont get to have those nuggets and fries I brought" You say loudly.
"FRIES?!" Both of them jumps out of bed and looks at you expectantly. You raise a brow and puts your hands to your hips.
"You really think im that dumb to fall for your so called trick?" You ask with a disappointed look on your face.
Eijirou laughs and rubs the back of his neck "Sorry baby... It was hard saying no to that face"
You roll your eyes and laughs "Now you know what i go through"
Eijirou laughs too "Yeah.. Do we still get to eat those nuggets though?" He asks hopefully.
"Oh the nuggets? Yeah that was a trick" You smirk as dread washes over their faces "Yeah it was a trick, now go to sleep, both of you, or im not cooking nuggets for breakfast"
DENKI KAMINARI
My man Denki here is actually a pretty chill dad, and his kids would do anything he says... if he does something for them first. He actually does a pretty decent job in getting them to sleep, sure he had a couple pf teensy weensy condition but atleast he got them to sleep... at maybe 11:30.
"Hey theree, so like, I know it's not cool to sleep at this hour but like, Im kinda scared of your mommy so if you kids love your daddy, please go to sleep I'm begging you" He says as you toddler is already tucked in bed.
Your kid just shrugs and says "Okay"
Denki, bless his ass, is very very confused "Wait really?"
"Yes, dad" Your toddler nods
"Huh, that was.. pretty easy? Uh so, goodnight hon" He says and kisses your kid on the forehead.
Your toddler smirks and pulls up the big fucking puppy eyes "But before I sleep... can i have one eensy weensy favour?"
Denki you prick
You come home to see the lights in the living room out. Okay that's nice, that means Denki actually got the kid to sleep. You walked toward the room and peek through the door, you smile at the sight. There you see Denki and your baby wrapped in blankets as Denki reads your kid, who was already asleep, a bed time story.
You walk in when he finishes reading and closes the book.
"You did a pretty great job eh?" You say as you kiss your husband on the forehead. "Wasnt to hard eh?"
Denki nods tiredly "Yeah you could say that" He smiles softly.
"Thank you baby, im gonna freshen up" With that, you walk outside, leaving Denki to tuck your toddler in for the night. Little did you know that to get your kid to sleep involved 2 tubes of ice cream, 3 rounds of Mario Cart, 5 Mickey Mouse episodes and 1 fairytale story. Yeah Denki was definitely sleeping for a long time.
SERO HANTA
He's also a chill dad, but when his kid says they don't wanna sleep, it's always 20% 'no, go to bed' and 80% 'sure do whatever, go apeshit'. And oh boy do things get tricky.
"Look, chubbs. Mommy said bed time is 8:30. And it's already, 8:30. So come on you need to sleep" Sero says to your child who was watching a cartoon movie.
Instead they stick out their tongue "No! I wanna finish this movie!" they bat their eyelashes and give Sero the puppy eyes "Pleaseee, dad?"
Sero blinks "Uh sure go ahead" He says sitting beside you kid with a lazy grin on his face.
Your kid, confused, just blinks "Uh, wait, really?" they look at him expectantly
Sero just shrugs and takes a handful of popcorn from the bowl "Yeah sure, I aint scared of your mom, plus it's mot everyday we get to do this sooo, go crazy" he grins and takes another handful of popcorn and pops it in his mouth.
6 movies and 1 cry-a-thon later
You open the door and walk into the living room to see Sero watching a movie with your kid laying on his lap, a blanket draped over them.
Sero looks at you and closes the tv. "Hey mi amor, how was you night out?"
You look at your kid and your husband "Did you let them stay up late?"
Sero just shrugs "Yeah, sorry bout' that. But it's not everyday they get to do this with me y'know?" He smiles at you and you just scoff.
"You're lucky I love you" You say.
He sets his kid on the couch and stands up, he walks over to you and kisses you on the cheek "Love ya too babe"
• • •
"How many movies did you watch?"
".... Maybe 5 or 6?.."
• • •
"Okay, you're sleeping in the living room tonight, Sero"
"Aw man"
THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY BABES. IM THINKING OF MAKING A PART TWO WITH THE OTHER BNHA BOYS SO COMMENT IF YOU'D WANT TO SEE MORE. THANK U FOR READING!!

"Dude, I took over your dad's body.."
Tumblr media
"...and goddamn is there a lot of him to work with! I've been a ghost for years now, but I've never been inside a 6' 3" ex-linebacker! I've been checking him out all afternoon, and let me tell you that this man is big and hairy all over," he punctuates his comment with a wink.
Your dad, the man you've looked up to your entire life, is saying things you don't want to think about while casually laying on the couch in nothing but a robe and booty shorts. The urge to puke is suppressed, but you know that Jimmy has crossed a line here. Your deceased friend has possessed bullies, professors, and more, but he's never had the balls to take over your own family. What was he thinking?
"I jumped into him while he was at work. I think his coworkers probably found it strange when I picked up his briefcase and waddled his ass out the door," Jimmy chuckles at the memory, "But don't worry. Your old man had plenty of sick days he wasn't gonna use."
It doesn't take long for you to burst out in anger at the spirit controlling your father. Your face is hot, and you can't stand to watch your dad get puppetted around like a fool!
"Calm the fuck down!" he swears uncharacteristically, "Give this big guy a hug. Come here. Daddy needs some love..."
Tumblr media
The thought of hugging your father while he's being forced to act like this feels wrong, but you relent. A part of you is glad for the embrace. It might not actually be your dad, but paternal comfort is exactly what you need right now, and your real dad isn't the type to give his child a hug.
"That's it, son," Jimmy pets your head with your father's thick hands, "Let daddy take care of you. Let your dumb old fart-of-a-father give you some much-needed attention."
You can't help but chuckle at the self-deprecating joke. Your real dad was too proud to laugh at himself, and he'd never made an effort to be anything other than distant and formal with you. In fact, there was a lot your real dad would never do; he'd never leave the office in the middle of the day, he'd never lay around the house like a lazy bum, and he'd certainly never let his hairy chest and thick legs be on full display in front of his disappointing gay son.
Suddenly, while still embraced, you realize there's something poking into your waist.
"Sorry, dude," your father whispers in your ear, "I guess your dad is just happy to see you."
You push him away, insisting that Jimmy needs to stay out of family members' bodies because this just feels so wrong! You search the pair of unnaturally blank eyes for any sign that Jimmy might be listening to you.
"You need to relax, bro," your dad (Jimmy) groans in annoyance. He looks disappointed, but then he sparks up and gives you a new look of excitement. "Son," he says with exaggerated machismo, "Take a page from my book and learn to chill out. It doesn't matter what the world thinks about you or me. I'll prove it to you..."
Tumblr media
With a placid grin and blank gaze, your father lumbers past and marches straight out the front door of the house. You're almost too stunned to follow. Was Jimmy really going to parade your dad's body around the neighborhood in nothing but his robe?
"Afternoon, neighbor," your father's rumbling tone bellows across the street, "Lovely weather, today. My son thought I should take my fat hairy gut for a little stroll in the sun. You know us dads have got to keep our boys happy. Am I right?"
Mr. Jones stares at your father from his porch, just as shocked as you are. He often drank beers with this man and every other neighborhood dad at backyard barbecues and living room game watches. This was not how he normally interacted with the man, and it obviously struck him as weird.
"You alright, Bob?" he asks hesitantly.
"Right as rain, neighbor!" Jimmy answers with a tone that's too goofy to pass as my dad's, "If that's how you're staring at me now, I wonder what'll happen if I take this robe off..."
Before Mr. Jones can process the flirtation in your father's voice, you shuffle your dad further down the street and away from the whole interaction. That may have been hilarious, but Jimmy was going to destroy any reputation and respect your father had around here!
You demand to know where Jimmy is going with this body. It's not like you have any ability to even slow the ghost down when he's got the weight and strength of your 200 lb father.
"I'm thinking the park. Your dad could use some cardio," he smirks, an unfamiliar expression on the grown man's face, "Or maybe the public bathroom on the north end. You know, it has that hole in the stall..."
Tumblr media
No amount of reasoning or arguments can change Jimmy's mind. Apparently he's set on wearing your father to the city's most notorious gay hookup spot.
"Don't look at me like that," his gravelly voice sounds amused by your frustration, "With me in charge, your dad will be the dirtiest slut that bathroom's ever seen. Don't you think it'll be funny to see such a massive, manly bear serving man after man in there?"
You sigh in disbelief.
"Or...maybe I don't have to rent out your dad's body to a bunch of strangers..."
You wonder where he's going with this. It sounds like an ultimatum is coming, and you don't like the idea of your crazy dead friend giving you an ultimatum.
"...your dad could hold off on bottoming for strangers...if...you let him be your submissive little bitch."
The choice is an annoying one, but you're pretty sure you can't let your dad have unprotected sex with strangers in a public place. This is what he'd want right?
"That's what I thought," the grin on your father's face twists maniacally. He tussles your hair like he's the proudest dad in the world, "Let's head on back home, buddy. Daddy's gonna lick every inch of sweat off that body of yours. He's got years of emotional absence to make up for."
One of his beefy arms cradles your back and turns you around. You're relieved to no longer be headed towards the public bathroom, but you're still a little nervous about what awaits you at home. How does Jimmy expect you to enjoy any of this when it's your dad doing all these things to you?
"Daddy's gonna treat you to a night that's all about you," he goes on, "Cooking you dinner, rubbing your feet, cuddling on the couch, and so much more. I want you to think of some humiliating things daddy can do for you while we walk back. Make sure they're extra degrading or your dad will just have to step out of the house and degrade himself where the entire city can see..."
The last comment gives you butterflies in your stomach, but it also gives you a bit of a hard-on. Maybe Jimmy playing with your dad wasn't so scary of an idea after all. With him possessed, anything was on the table: personal affirmations, some much needed bonding, roleplay, revenge, humiliation. Heck, you could even give your father a golden shower and Jimmy would have him smiling through it!
Walking home, you steal glances at your dad, towering over you as his rotund gut leads the way. Home can't come fast enough!

One more quick little thing before I head to bed for the night! This one is for @em-doods, because we got to chatting about some sweet, sweet JD and Clay sadness ❤️ If you haven't gone to check out her adorable trolls art, I highly recommend it! I especially recommend checking out this post here, as well as this one, since those are the versions of BroZone's parents referenced in this ficlet~
It's relatively short, but I hope you enjoy it, anyway!
One of the last things John Dory had expected when he'd settled himself on the beach outside Bruce's resort was Clay plopping himself down next to him. Truthfully, they'd been getting along much better in the few months that had passed since Floyd had been rescued, but there was still plenty of tension between the middle and eldest brother. They'd talked through a small handful of issues, such as Clay's bitterness about John taking all the fun out of him being the 'Fun Boy', and John's incessant need for their past performances to be 'perfect'. However, the two still did not tend to purposefully seek out each others company.
"Uh…hello?" John chuckled rather awkwardly, offering Clay a lopsided smile, "What's up?"
Clay simply stared out at the ocean for a moment, before turning his gaze to John Dory. "Tell me about Mom and Dad."
John blinked, a bit taken aback by the sudden demand without preamble. "Sorry, what?"
Clay rolled his eyes, but didn't seem particularly annoyed by John's confusion. "Tell me about Mom and Dad. I don't really remember a whole lot, and I know you've got a memory like a steel trap."
"Oh. I suppose you were only about nine when they were taken, weren't you?" John mostly muttered to himself, rubbing at his chin. "Okay, sure. Uh, is there anything in particular you wanna know?"
With a short shrug Clay leaned back on his hands, turning to stare back out at the ocean. "I dunno…Got any fun stories from when we were kids?"
John thought about that for a moment, before snapping his fingers, a grin spreading across his face. "Yeah! When we were little, Mom used to make up all sorts of fun little dances while she was doing chores and things around the pod. She liked singing well enough, but she loved dancing. One of my personal favorites of hers was her laundry dance. When you were old enough to walk on your own, you started trying to mimic her dance moves. You usually wound up falling over and tugging whatever laundry Mom had just hung up down, and getting all tangled up." John let out a fond laugh, shifting to sit forward a bit. "She'd laugh and help you get untangled, all while you cried about messing up the dance."
"Is that why you got me doing the choreo for BroZone?" Clay sniffed, a small frown on his face.
John sighed, his joy at recalling his mother quickly dampened by Clay's apparent need to constantly remind John Dory of what a horrible brother he'd been. "Maybe a bit, yeah," he admitted quietly, letting out a little puff of air. "You loved dancing. With Mom, especially. I guess, maybe…maybe it was a bit to keep her spirit alive with us. With the band." He sighed, rubbing at his face, "That sounds selfish."
Clay snorted, shooting John a wry smile. "It totally does, man."
"Shut up," John laughed, shoving his brother gently in the shoulder. Clay swayed slightly, but made no move to retaliate. John chewed on the inside of his cheek for a moment, before blurting, "You look like her."
Clay startled slightly, turning wide eyes on John. "Excuse me, what?"
"Sorry, I-ugh," John raked his fingers though his hair in mild irritation at himself. "You look like Mom. You take after her. A lot. The rest of us sort of take mostly after Dad, but you look so much like Mom. And it's way more apparent, now that you're older."
"Do I?" Clay sat up and glanced at his hands, flexing his fingers.
"Yeah, bro. Mom was super into books, and she had all these amazing ideas," John sighed wistfully, watching the waves roll into the sandy shore, "She was super smart, and really kind. And she was just ridiculous. Any time one of us would go to her with some stupid little kid idea, she'd do her best to help us achieve whatever it was, even if it was practically impossible." He laughed, before he began to rummage around int the pockets of his vest, finally pulling out a well worn photo. "Here! I almost forgot I had this on me."
Clay accepted the photo reverently, eyes wide as he took in the still frame from so long ago in their past. A very young John Dory was stood next to a tall, lean looking troll with voluminous teal hair. Clay barely recognized himself in the photo, a trolling no older than perhaps five, propped on her hip, shyly waving at the camera. "Is that…?"
"That's you and Mom, yeah. I think this picture is right around your fourth or fifth hatchday. You were starting to get a bit too big to be carried around, but you kept getting jealous of Floyd, so Mom would make a point of carrying you around as much as she could."
"Oh," Clay murmured, startling a bit as a wet drop hit the corner of the picture. He tipped his head back to find the sky devoid of clouds, only to quickly touch his face and realize he'd begun to cry.
"Even despite being in that cage, she always did her best to make sure everyone always had a smile on their face," John continued quietly, not noticing his brothers plight. "After Mom and Dad got taken, you started trying to do that. Fill that void that Mom left behind, trying to make everyone laugh or smile…" Finally, he looked up to find Clay with silent tears pouring down his ruddy cheeks. He looked alarmed for a moment, reaching out hesitantly, not quite sure if his touch was welcome, only to jerk in surprise as Clay fell into his side with a sniffle. With mild trepidation he gently settled his arm around Clay's shoulders, giving him a little squeeze.
They sat in silence for a few minutes, the only sound the soft crashing of the waves on the beach, and Clay's quiet, hiccupping sobs.
"I forgot what she looked like," Clay admitted after a time, not moving from his brother's hold.
"Sometimes I forget, too," John sighed, rubbing Clay's shoulder, "It's why I'm so glad I managed to get hold of our old photo albums when I went back to the tree. You can keep that one, if you want."
"Can I?"
"Of course. I've got plenty more, back in Rhonda."
"Thanks, JD."
"Anytime."

Lake Secrets - Jude Bellingham
Chapter 2: You Can Trust Me
Tumblr media
Summary: Grace Alexander Arnold, an architecture student, looks forward to a quiet summer at her brother Trent's lake villa. Her plans change when Trent's best friend, Jude Bellingham, arrives with his family. As Grace and Jude spend more time together, a secret romance begins to grow. Amidst the peaceful lake and family gatherings, will their hidden feelings last, or will they fade away with the summer? Word Count: 3.3k
Warnings: fluff, emotional moment, anxiety
Note: The story will develop more in this chapter, they will share intimate moments
Tumblr media
“Come on, Jude, that was way too far!” Trent complained as he swam toward the ball, which had splashed down several yards away. The sun was high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the lake.
“Sorry, my bad!” I called back, laughing. Jobe splashed water at me playfully, shaking his head.
“You always go overboard, bro,” Jobe said with a grin. “Literally.”
Everyone else was sitting near the shore, either deep in conversation or doing their own thing. Diane and my mom were chatting under a large umbrella, while Trent’s dad was stretched out on a lounge chair, soaking up the sun.
Grace was sitting on a towel, a book in her hands. Every so often, she would look up, watching us play. Her gaze lingered, and it was clear she was admiring the sight of us having fun in the water. She looked like she wanted to join in but was holding back.
She was wearing a white short dress with straps that stood on her forearms, revealing her bare shoulders. She always made sure to pull the strap up on her left shoulder as if to cover something. We would sometimes make eye contact and smile. Anytime I said something funny, I felt the need to look for her approval, which I got every time.
"Hey, Grace. Why don't you join us?" Jobe, my brother, called out. Her smile slowly turned into a worried expression, and she sat up from laying on her stomach.
"I'm good, Jobe. I don't feel like swimming today!"
"She's not into this, mate," Trent quickly spoke for her. I couldn't help but wonder if there might be something more to this, but I decided to let it go.
I also wanted to take a break. We'd been in the water for almost an hour, and I was hungry. Diane and Grace had prepared some delicious snacks that morning in the kitchen: cookies, mini sandwiches, and a variety of other treats. I had watched Grace make them while I ate a late breakfast of cereal at the dining table next to the kitchen. She looked effortlessly pretty while cooking, even in casual clothes and with her hair in a simple braid. Her face was slightly puffy from sleep, her skin clear and fresh. I couldn't help but think how lovely it would be to wake up and see her first thing in the morning. She seemed like the kind of girl who would understand you, truly get your inner self, and make life easier by being the best partner. She didn’t come across as complicated to deal with, yet she still held an air of mystery.
"Alright, how about we take a break to eat?" Trent said, as if reading my thoughts.
We all nodded and got out of the water. Diane handed each of us a towel and put the food basket in front of us where we sat. I munched on the mini sandwiches Grace had prepared, trying to catch a glimpse of her without making it obvious.
"Sweetie, do you want something too?" my mom asked Grace, making her look up from her book. She nodded and placed the book aside, moving to sit between me and Trent.
She grabbed a sandwich and started eating. Jobe was making everyone laugh, and her attempts to laugh without spitting out her food were very cute. Eventually, everyone gathered around to eat until there was no food left.
As dusk approached, our parents decided to call it a day, leaving only me, Jobe, Trent, and Grace by the lake. They gathered everything and took the short walk back to the villa, leaving us with some towels and our clothes. "How about we take another swim before leaving?" Jobe asked, winking at me. I couldn’t quite understand what he was hinting at.
"Sure, bro. Let's do it!" Trent agreed, and we all stood up, except for Grace. She remained seated, avoiding our looks. "Wanna make a run for it?" Trent looked at me, and I laughed and nodded in response. Jobe held back as we made a run for it, but then I heard a scream from behind me, causing Trent and me to halt and spin around. Grace was screaming, and Jobe was carrying her towards the water, trying to make a joke of it.
"Please, Jobe! Put me down! I don't want to go into the water!" Grace continued to scream, kicking as Jobe neared the water's edge. There was a raw edge of panic in her voice, verging on tears.
"No, Jobe, stop!" Trent yelled, sprinting towards them, clearly alarmed.
Jobe sensed the seriousness of the situation and stopped, slowly setting Grace down on her feet. She clutched her chest, blinking rapidly, trying to compose herself and hold back tears.
"I'm sorry, Grace. I didn't mean to scare you," Jobe said, regret plain in his voice.
I approached cautiously, standing behind Trent, who was comforting her with soothing touches on her shoulders. Grace looked distant, trying to regain her composure.
"Hey, Grace. Are you okay?" I asked softly, my concern evident. I wanted nothing more than to hold her close and calm her racing heart.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" Grace quickly replied, her gaze darting between all of us, overwhelmed by the rush of questions. "It's okay! I just panicked because... It was sudden."
Trent wrapped an arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple. "Hey, how about we call it a day, too?" We all nodded and gathered our towels. I kept my concerned gaze on Grace, which she seemed to notice. She flashed a faint smile at me and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder, letting me know she was alright. I gave her one more questioning look.
"I'm okay!"
"Alright, good," I whispered back to her, feeling a bit awkward, like I was crossing a line between caring and flirting, especially with Trent nearby. We continued walking towards the villa, and Jobe kept apologizing to Grace repeatedly until she finally convinced him she was okay. She seemed chilly in her short dress as she tried to wrap a dirty towel around her shoulders.
"Here," I pulled her aside from the group and draped my zipper hoodie over her shoulders. She hesitated at first but then placed her hands on top of mine, gently squeezing them.
"Thank you, Jude," she said softly, walking beside me while the boys walked ahead. She held the book close to her chest, and my oversized hoodie looked like a dress on her.
"Still hooked on Bukowski, I see?" I asked, smiling at her.
"Yeah, another day, reading the same thing," she replied with a smile, glancing down. I noticed she found it difficult to maintain eye contact with me, even though her green eyes had been the subject of my daydreams since we arrived. I fought the urge to let her know that.
"You have beautiful eyes, you know?" I lost the battle. She seemed taken aback by my comment, continuing to look down but smiling nonetheless. "Thank you!"
"Are you always this shy?"
"Depends on who I'm talking to," she replied, finally meeting my gaze after a moment's pause. "Some people are intimidating." "Am I one of them?" I asked, feeling like I might have put her on the spot, but our conversation was going so well I wanted to keep it going. "Maybe!" she replied with a playful smirk, giving me a thoughtful look that made me laugh.
....
As soon as we reached the house, we took showers and changed into fresh clothes, all gathering on the backyard patio one by one. Grace was the last one to come down. We were all having a glass of wine by the firepit, laughing and talking. I couldn't really make out her figure until she approached fully because of the dark.
Her braids were out, and her hair lay on her shoulders, still wearing my hoodie. She looked comfortable in it, and it suited her better than me. Miraculously, the only empty spot was a bean bag next to me. She approached slowly and smiled at me as the fire illuminated my face.
"Hey," she spoke softly.
"Hey, you feeling better?" I asked, wanting to make sure she was comfortable after the incident at the lake.
She gave me an assuring smile. Our voices drowned in the noise of the others talking, the fire crackling, and lots of laughter. It felt like it was just the two of us. The darkness provided a sort of shield for me to freely look at her.
"Are you enjoying your stay so far?" she asked, keeping our conversation going.
"So far, so good. I really like this place!" I responded. "The house is very nice, and the view is breathtaking."
"It is," she said, either looking at my face or down at her hands while talking. "It will be a nice vacation break for you guys!"
"You said you've been coming here with your family every summer," I recalled her words from the first day. "Do you still find the place exciting?"
She sighed and leaned further into the bean bag. "Uh, yeah! But, the older I get, the more I want to experience other places as well. My dad isn't really a big fan of me traveling alone or staying someplace else... to study alone."
It felt like she was confessing an issue of hers. I wanted her to trust me, to feel comfortable talking to me about anything. I'm sure she doesn't do that very often. "I want to do my major abroad. But my dad wants me 'close' to him." she used air quotes and seemed hurt and defeated remembering her father's words. "Why is that?" "Just a stupid conclusion my dad has." She didn't want to continue the conversation, so I didn't push her any further.
While having a good time with everyone, the fire slowly started to die down. I took a look and saw Grace already asleep on her bean bag. She brought her legs up to her chest, and put her hands all the way inside my hoodie, holding them near her face.
"Guys, I'm calling it a night. I'm really tired," my dad said, and my mother agreed, getting up to leave with him.
"Yeah, it’s been a long day," Trent said, stretching. "I think I’ll turn in too." He followed my parents inside.
Jobe yawned and nodded. "Me too. This vacation life is wearing me out." Trent's mom noticed Grace fast asleep on the bean bag. She approached her slowly, lightly tapping her on the shoulder. "Sweetheart, we're heading to bed. How about you continue your sleep in your room?"
Grace hummed in response, not really registering what her mother was saying. Diane looked at me, and we both smiled at Grace's sleepy state. Diane tried waking her up again, but Grace only opened and closed her eyes a few times, not fully awake.
"Do you want me to take her up to her room, Mrs. Arnold?" I offered, not wanting to disturb her. Diane looked at me gratefully and nodded.
I stood up from my bean bag and carefully scooped Grace into my arms. She naturally nestled her head into the crook of my neck, her hands tucked inside the hoodie's sleeves, close to her chest. She felt like the missing piece of my puzzle, fitting perfectly in my arms.
Once we got inside, I said goodbye to Diane. Her room was on the first floor. She wished me goodnight and entered quietly, trying not to wake her sleeping husband who had called it a night way before us.
I took slow and careful steps on the stairs, fully aware of their creaking. After each step, I glanced at Grace, ensuring she wasn't disturbed. When I reached her bedroom door, I struggled to open it slightly.
Thankfully, her bedside lamp was on for some reason, casting a soft glow and helping me navigate the unfamiliar room. I placed her delicately on the bed. She snuggled her face into the pillow as soon as it touched the soft surface, her eyes slowly fluttering open.
"Thank you..." she managed to say in a raspy, low voice.
"Of course. Have a good night's sleep, Grace," I responded. My inner self urged me to kiss her forehead goodnight. Instead, I gently pulled the bed cover up to her shoulders. That's when I noticed a scar on her left shoulder, where my fallen hoodie exposed her skin. It was on the side she had tried to hide earlier at the lake. I brushed my fingers on it slightly, causing her to shiver. I stood up from the bed and turned off the light next to her, slowly making my way out of the room and into my own. I took off my shirt and shorts and crashed into bed only wearing my boxers. I was a bit tired myself too, but I really wanted to know the history behind that scar. .....
It had been more than a week since we arrived. Our families' bond had grown significantly over these days. Aside from our morning exercises and evening talks, I rarely spent time with Trent alone.
Our mothers were really enjoying the villa, constantly cooking something new and sipping wine on the porch. Our dads engaged in debates over various topics, beers in hand, as they relaxed by the lakeside. And then, there were always the four of us doing things together.
And green is still my favorite color.
My obsession with Grace has grown. The more time we spend together, the more she begins to trust me. Now, she maintains eye contact while we talk. She opens up about her passion for architecture, detailing her studies, her close bond with Trent, and sharing her likes and dislikes. I find myself struggling with the question of whether Grace feels a deeper connection toward me or if she is simply being friendly. It seems more than mere coincidence that we always end up seated next to each other, and that chores are consistently assigned to us as a pair.
She still has my hoodie. The other night, as we both got up for some water, I caught sight of her in the kitchen, wearing my hoodie and shorts. There was a moment of surprise in her eyes when she noticed me. She quickly tried to explain, mentioning how comfortable it was and apologizing, saying she would return it.
Instead of insisting, I simply said, "No, keep it. It looks way better on you."
Her cheeks flushed slightly, a soft smile playing on her lips. It was a spontaneous comment, but one that felt right in the moment. Seeing her wear my hoodie, looking effortlessly comfortable and somehow even more attractive, stirred a warmth in me that I couldn't deny. Let's go for a swim today, lads," Trent interrupted my racing thoughts.
Jobe eagerly agreed, but Grace lowered her gaze and muttered something under her breath. It wasn't the first time she had declined to swim. Despite hanging out with us by the lake, she never ventured into the water.
Sitting together on the patio bean bags, Trent and Jobe moved to prepare for swimming while I stayed behind, drawing closer to Grace, hoping for a moment of privacy.
"Hey, is there a reason you never join us in the lake?" I asked softly.
Her discomfort was palpable, evident in the way she shifted in her seat." It's just not my thing-" she spoke quickly.
"Can you come with us this one time? Please!" I pleaded, hoping to convince her. But as soon as I noticed her beautiful green eyes getting foggy, I knew I shouldn't push her further.
"I'll just stay in my room this time," she said quickly, standing up and leaving before I could say anything else. Her sudden outburst left a lingering sense of concern in the air. .....
We we're back at the dining table in the evening, enjoying another meal after a tiring day at the lake with only us boys. Grace hasn't spoken to me since our last encounter earlier. She quickly munched on something and excused herself sitting at the far end of the backyard near the lake view in the complete dark, with the excuse of wanting to read in peace. Me and the others had a normal routine, had a glass of wine and then went to bed. In my room, I could still see her silhouette by the lake. I decided to go up to her. Everyone was asleep, the only source of light being the moon once again. I tried to make some sound while I approached her from afar, not wanting to scare her. She turned around to look at me, giving me a tired smile and then focused her eyes back at the lake. I sat next to her. Our shoulders brushing. "You know you can trust me, right?" I asked her directly.
"I know," she replied softly, her gaze still fixed on the lake.
"Why are you afraid to swim, Grace?"
She remained silent for a moment, as if weighing whether to open up to me. I reassured her with a gentle touch on her knee.
Her breathing became more audible, and a single tear rolled down her cheek.
"It's just..." Her voice cracked, and she fell silent again.
"It's okay. Take your time. I'm right here for you." I held her hand firmly, feeling it tremble slightly in mine. "You know that scar you saw on my shoulder the other night?" she asked. I nodded at her, but still surprised she could remember that in her sleeping state. "It happened when i was younger while swimming. Do you see that empty looking house right there?" I nodded. " That's where Lily used to live." "Used to?" I became curious of where she's going with this and why was it affecting her so much. "She died. She was my childhood bestfriend." She let out a small sob, i quickly wrapped my arm around her shoulder, providing her some comfort.
"There's an old pier on the other side of the lake, hidden away now. Lily and I used to go there to play. One day, we were climbing around it, and Lily slipped. She grabbed my leg instinctively, pulling me into the water with her. She hit her head on the metal as we fell."
She paused, her eyes distant as she relived the memory.
"Lily suffered a head injury and died instantly." Grace continued, her voice catching. "I had a hurt leg and some scratches, making it hard for me to stay above the water. But I managed to pull her now-red and bloody body from the water and call for help."
Grace looked at me with sad eyes, almost as if seeking closure. I kissed her forehead gently and rubbed her forearm in reassurance, but she still seemed scared and shaky after all these years.
"So you never swam anymore?" I asked softly. She shook her head, her expression pained. "I'm afraid something bad will happen," she murmured.
"I understand," I said, kissing her temple again. I held her like that for a long time, whispering sweet nothings to her. "But what if we try something different?"
I gently took her hand and helped her stand up. Slowly, I guided her towards the water, feeling her resistance as she shook her head vigorously.
"Hey, hey, hey," I murmured soothingly, holding both her hands. "I'm not going to push you or anything, sweetheart. Just relax."
She nodded hesitantly, her gaze locked with mine, her eyes reflecting fear and uncertainty.
"We will stop whenever you want to. Let's just try to put our foot inside the water," I suggested gently.
"No, no. Jude, no please!" Grace's voice was alarmed, filled with fear.
I cupped her face in my hands and gently placed her forehead against mine, holding her close. "You can trust me, Grace." .......... Coming up next:

request: quinn being by your side when you have your baby
word count: 0.6k
“Where's Quinn?” you cried out for what seemed like the hundredth time to anyone who was listening. Of course when you went into labour Quinn was halfway across the country on a roadie.
“He’s coming sweetie, he’s coming” your mother tried to soothe you again but it proved to be of no use. You refused to have your first baby without your husband.
You cried out again, the pain and your wanting for Quinn starting to overwhelm you.
“She needs to calm down,” a nurse shouted, and you swore you were going to lose your mind.
However before you could say anything back, your hospital room door was swinging open and a restless looking Quinn bounded into the room panting. “Quinn!” you cried out, tears springing to your eyes as you catch sight of the love of your life. Quinn rushes over to you, replacing your moms hand with his own as he holds your hand tightly.
“I’m so sorry baby, I got here as fast as I could” he breathes out heavily, still out of breath from his journey of running around the hospital.
“You’re here now, it's okay” you gave him a soft smile that was quickly replaced with a wince as another contraction hit you. Quinn reached his free hand up and brushed your hair out of your face, when he tried to soothe you it worked, and you were finally able to calm down a little.
“It’s time to start pushing mama!” One of the nurses says trying to hype you up.
A few short hours later, it was just you and Quinn in your  hospital room. He was sitting beside you on your bed, one hand strung around your shoulders as you both looked down at the sleeping baby in your arms.
“I’m so proud of you,” Quinn whispers as he kisses the top of your head, eyes never leaving his newborn. “She’s precious” he says again, as he traces one of his fingers along his baby's cheek.
“She looks like you” you murmur, “she’s beautiful Quinny” you smile softly down at your baby girl before redirecting your gaze to look at Quinn. You had never seen him look so at ease, the adoration in his eyes made you want to go through this whole painful process again. You’d do anything to make him look so peaceful and happy.
“I think she looks like her mama,” Quinn whispers back, removing his hand from your shoulder and bringing it back down to your waist. He placed his head on your shoulder, leaving a soft kiss on your hospital gown as he went.
You hummed in response, leaning your head on top of Quinns. Both of you so happy and content to hold and look at your precious baby.

Imagine reader giving birth to twins boys
they become 14YO, and they are famous in the clan as troublemakers and Neteyam and reader have to deal with them ..
Ah isn’t that CUTE!!!
Tumblr media
THIS IS SUCH A CUTESIE IDEA !!
-no warnings, just some fluff, family dynamics & sweet Dad(dy)!Neteyam (also mentions of bullying + fights if that counts??)
Loud caterwauling blasted throughout the camp, reaching you and Neteyam from within your family-hut. You glanced at your mate, resisting the incredible urge to roll your eyes, there were only two possible candidates for the source of that noise.
“Pshh, I’ll go sort it out, again.” Neteyam sighed, chucking his hands up in defeat. He quickly rose from his spot next to you and hightailed it to the awaiting ‘crime’ scene. For the past few weeks, your twin 14 year-old sons had been causing fights consistently amongst the clan’s young trainees.
You crouched for a moment, subconsciously counting down the moments before your lover’s deep, authoritative voice boomed over the ruckus outside. “BOYS, GET OVER HERE!!” The scolding your two son’s were now receiving increased in volume as Neteyam dragged them both by the neck, back into your hut.
“Ma ‘Teyam-” he cut you off swiftly “How many times do I have to repeat myself to you two?? You can’t just go around fighting people!” Neteyam bellowed, his tail thrashing angrily behind him.
“Sorry, Sir. It was my fault.” Tsyalu, the youngest twin, piped up bashfully. He tried hard to avoid his fathers menacing gaze. “That’s bullsh- ugf’ come on bro, you and I both know Rahaylo deserved it!” The eldest, Myerìn, blurted without shame, barely managing to dodge using ‘foul language’ infront of both his parents.
“Enough, I don’t care wether it was ‘deserved’. Tsy, you have to stop taking the heat for this skxawng! And YOU-” Neteyam gestured to a smirking Myerìn “-need to quit causing trouble, you read me??” Both boys nodded silently before stalking off to different parts of the hut.
You had observed the scolding, originally aiming to hold back a chuckle of amusement, until something in Tsy’s gaze and the way he spoke left you irked. You sat quietly beside him, assisting in preparing the fruits for dinner. Thankfully neither him nor his brother had been injured in the skirmish, you noted.
“What is the matter, sweet child?” You cooed, stroking the side of his cheek as slight tears swelled in his defeated eyes. “It’s nothing, mama..” the boy assured you, trying to hide his face. “Don’t be silly Tsyalu, you can tell me what’s wrong.” You encouraged, faintly aware of your husband’s ears flicking in interest at your conversation, as he watched from his place by the fire-pit.
“Well, we only keep fighting-” he broke off in a quiet sob “-be-because Rahaylo has been bullying me..” Both you and Neteyam fell stock-still at his words, feeling an onslaught of guilt overcome you. “Yea, and Dad told us to stick up for ourselves, so we did.” Myerìn informed, rather nonchalantly. Neteyam looked almost shell-shocked, having realised the poor communication that led to all this.
He moved closer to where you and both your sons were now crouched, reaching down to rest a hand on each boy’s shoulder comfortingly. “I’m sorry, boy. I had no idea.. why didn’t you say anything about this though? Violence is not a good way to solve these issues.” Neteyam offered, sounding solemn. “I- we didn’t want you to think we are weak, we thought you’d be proud of us, because we are brave like you.”
“Oh, Tsy..” you whispered, feeling ashamed that your children ever had to feel that way. “I am proud of you, both of you. So is your mother.. we just don’t want to see you both fighting all the time.” Your mate assured them, providing both with a warm embrace. “It is okay to come to us when somebody causes you trouble, we will help you, I promise.” He continued, allowing you to curl up at his side, joining the family hug. They both hummed in understanding.
“We are pretty brave though, right Dad?” Tsyalu whispered. “Just like you?” Myerìn added, hopefully. “Of course you are! You’re the bravest little warriors this clan has ever seen.” You and Neteyam chirped, nuzzling both boy’s foreheads affectionately. The twins smiled contentedly, feeling relieved as they relished within their father’s hard-earned approval.
“Sooo, who won?” Neteyam mused, smirking at his sons pridefully. “Neteyam!” You chided, smacking the back of his head playfully.
“Oel ngati kameie, my sons.”
Sorry this is a little short, I hope it lives up to what you had in mind! 🤍
Neteyam be getting some insane flashbacks 😭

Mick didn't wanted to be there, not at all.
They were in Sahkir, after the testing of the new season incoming and they didn't went as good as he thought it would be, so he was feeling a bit down. But anyways George dragged him to the bar with him and other fellow drivers.
They were all drinking for fun and vibing to the music because their testing went really well. Mick, on the other hand, have already seen critics of his way of driving and people comparing him to his dad. He hated that, everything he does is compared to what his father's done. Mick loved his father with all his heart, but he's not only his surname.
"Mick!" Lando shouted, already tipsy. "There's a gorgeous blonde that can't take her eyes off you!"
"What?" was the only thing he could articulate. Mick looked around, trying to find that girl probably Lando has invented.
"That girl," he pointed directly at her, making her lift her eyes to him. "She's eyeing you, you see that?"
"Maybe because you're pointing at her so bad it even hurts me," Mick said, rolling his eyes.
"Nah, she was looking at you before. Trust me on this one, bro," Lando insisted. He took a long sip of his drink, finishing it. And after that he ordered another one to the waiter
"I'm not really in the mood, and you should stop drinking," Mick advised, pressing his lips.
Lando let out a long sigh and even rolled his eyes to make it more dramatic.
"Yeah, whatever. She's pretty, and you're pretty too," Lando argued. Mick lost the thread of the conversation, since when Lando thinks he's pretty? "I think you should go and talk to her."
"And I think you should stop thinking,"
"Why are you so boring, man!" Lando said, almost shouting.
"I told you, I'm not in the mood," he remarked, sipping in his drink.
"You know what?" Lando said. Mick thought it was a retorical question, but then he saw Lando truly waiting for him to answer.
"What?" he wondered, with a long face.
"If you're not talking to her, she is talking to you!" Lando said, before getting up.
"Wait, what the fuck?!" Mick tried to grab Lando's shirt, but he was already really close to that girl. "Fuck..."
He gazed out the whole scene; how Lando started talking -bothering- that girl by tapping her in the shoulder and how she looked totally confused about what he was saying. Then, Lando pointed at him and that girl, instead of frowning and giving him a bad look, as Mick thought it would be, she smiled at him softly and wave him shyly.
Lando took her with his arm and walked her to Mick.
"Mick, mate! This is Dominique, isn't she gorgeous? I told her you said that, so you have to agree with me," Lando said very fast, stepping on the words.
"Uh, yeah," he was getting nervous. "I mean, absolutely! You are gorgeous, yes."
Dominique gave him a wide smiled but she quickly began to blushed.
"Well, I'm gonna find George and all this people, so you can have a little bit of peace," Lando said and when he left, he winked ant Mick in the weirdest way possible.
Dominique sat by his side at the bar counter and ordered a cocktail to the waiter. "Thanks," she said, when the waiter returned with her drink. "So..."
She was ready to start a conversation, but Mick interrupted her with a grin.
"I'm really sorry about my friend, he is drunk and I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable," he excused himself, pressing his lips together.
"Oh, no worries! I mean, I was actually eyeing you," Dominique admited.
"You were?" Mick was totally surprised, and maybe a bit excited.
"Yeah! I came here with my friends and I've been telling them all night that you looked really cute from afar, and even cuter this close," she lean a bit into him, brushing their shoulders. Mick couldn't say a word. "Now you have to compliment me back, darling."
"Oh! Yeah, I've said it before, you are stunning," he said, trying so hard to not hesitate.
She laughed. "So, what are you doing in Sahkir? You don't look very local, we're not gonna lie,"
"Neither do you," They both laughed. "I'm working here,"
"Oh, me too!" Dominique said. "Well, sort of. Tomorrow is my first day,"
"Nice," Mick was going to add something, but Dominique quickly took the word
"So... you wanna hook up or something?" she asked, finishing her drink.
Mick almost have forgotten why Dominique was talking to him. She just wanted to hook up, that was her aim since their first interaction. Flirt a bit and then go straight to fucking.
"Okay," he agreed.
She was a beautiful woman and definitely his type, why would he denied it?
Mick felt off the whole time. They didn't have that connection like his other relationships, they were just two strangers fucking. And it hurt him knowing that Dominique only talked to him looking for sex.
Maybe he's just an idiot but for a few seconds he thought they were connecting in some way. Obviously, the next morning she was gone.
🌷🌷🌷
"Girl, I just hooked up with some random guy," Dominique rushed to get out of the hotel where she left Mick sleeping.
The first thing she did was calling her best friend, who was in the other side of the country.
"Dom! We talked about this," her friend said, sighting. "You have to stop turning into a slut everytime you drink."
"Hey, I'm not a slut, I'm slutty. Know the difference," Dominique tried defending herself.
But her friend was totally right, when Dominique gets drunk she doesn't scream or crazy dances, she flirts with every guy that appears in her way. Before Mick she also was watching some of his friends aswell, but it was Mick the one who caught her eye.
She hated that facet of her, going hungover her first day of work is not something to be proud of. She just got hired by Haas to be an engineer in the upcoming season of Formula 1. Dom actually didn't adore the job, she was never a fan of the sport, or any sport in general. But travelling all around the world sounds too good to say no. And also the pay really good.
Her new collegues were the ones who dragged her to the bar that night. "I think I'm gonna kill myself," she said to her friend, still on the phone. "I was awful, awfully awful. I turn into a horny bitch-ass anytime I drink,"
Dominique sighed and she drink a long sip of water, in an attempt to make her headache leave.
"No man peace," her friend said, with a little laugh.
"Oh, shut up. It makes me fell like a horrible person. And the man seemed so sweet and nice,"
"You're not a horrible person," her friend assured. "You're just slutty,"
Dominique rolled her eyes. "Ok, I'm gonna hung up now,"
She took a taxi to get to the circuit where the practics where being held. It was the first time in all her life that she has put a feet in a Formula 1 circuit. One of the workers of Haas show her the whole place, ending the sort-of-tour in the Haas garage.
"And this is Mick, you are going to be his engineer the whole season," he said and right after that he leaves them alone.
They both recognized each other at the very first moment. She could've been drunk as fuck, but Mick has the bluest eyes she has ever seen and she remember them perfectly.
"Wait, you work here?" Mick asked, astonished.
"Yeah... isn't that obvious?" Dominique pressed her lips together, forcing her to not smile.
"Well, you didn't tell me yesterday," he argued.
"I was focusing on your pretty eyes," Dominique admited.
Mick lower his eyes for a moment, hiding his blushed cheeks to get into character again.
"You know, you're not the first person of referred to me as pretty," he said with a smirk.
"You should be proud, pretty boy," She didn't know why they were flirting in that way. "I actually thought you would be mad at me,"
"Yeah? Why?" he questioned, crossing his arms by his chest.
"Well, I wasn't very nice the other night. But it's something that happens to me when I'm drunk, and I also weren't in the mood of talking," she admited.
"Oh, really?" he exaggered. "I didn't even realize."
Dominique looked away because of Mick's sarcasm. "If you're going to start with sex jokes I'm gonna leave," she made the gesture of going away. "I'm sorry, ok? I was a total bitch yesterday..."
Mick didn't say anything.
"Now it's when you deny it and tell me that I'm super cool and gorgeous," Dominique insisted, biting her lips.
"It's okay. Dominique, right?" They both laughed.
"Yes. You were Mick, right?" she didn't leave him time to answer. "I don't know why I asked, I totally remember your name,"
"Ok, now I'm impressed!" Mick said, walking with her to the inside of the garage.
"I told you, I'm a cool person. And I actually thought you were cute," she remarked.
"Really?"
"No,"
They bursted into laughs.
"You're funny," Mick said.
"No, I'm being serious. I don't like you at all," she insisted, still smiling. "Like, if you asked me for a date I probably throw up,"
"Now you're being dramatic. You can't be that level of dramatic with someone you just met," Mick said, frowning in a very cute way for Dom's eyes.
"Try me,"
Mick didn't even think twice. "You wanna go on a date with me?"
"Yes,"
They went silent for a few seconds. "So no vomit?"
"No... sorry for disappointing you, darling," Dominique pressed her lips together.
"Calling me darling without being on a date, how lustful," Mick rolled his eyes.
"Alright, bro," Dominique hit him with her fist in his shoulder. "Don't you think we should get some work done? Let's do some driving and strategic shit,"
Mick blinked a couple of times. "Do you know anything about Formula 1?"
"Not at all,"
"Cool,"
"You see? I'm super cool,"
"I didn't mean you,"
"Shut up, Mick." she said right after. "Or I'll cut your brakes,"
They kept that dynamic for the rest of the day. Dom's insinuations increased practicaly every minute, and Mick adored answering her something three times worse. And at the end of the week the long-awaited date arrived.
Even though they were staying at the same hotel, Mick insisted coming and pick her up.
"Oh, hi," Dominique said with a smirk. She chose a nice light pink dress and he was wearing a linen shirt. "It's nice seeing you with something different than fireproofs and that awful suit."
"You can't say that, Dom. It's bad for the team image," Mick insisted.
She loved that he started calling her Dom instead of the usual Dominique, it made her blushed in the craziest way.
"Darling, we have no team image," Dominique said, smiling.
Mick rolled his eyes dramaticly. All over the week she didn't stop bullying the team. She was right about all the things she says? Absolutely. But if someone except from Mick hears her, she probably will be jobless again.
"Where are you taking me?" Dominique asked, hooking his arm to Mick's.
"I know a nice restaurant in the city, sounds good?"
"Sounds delightful," she smiled softly. "You're paying, right?"
Mick bursted into laughs. "Of fucking course, I'm a gentleman,"
"If you say so,"
"Then we can do fifty/fifty," Mick shrugged his shoulders, pursing his lips.
"Alright, I'll stop. I'm ready to have a nice and relaxing evening," Dom said. "And then we're fucking."
"On the first date? Daring,"
"Deny it," she made a short pause. "Go on, deny it,"
The silence was loud and then Mick looked at her with a devilish smile. Mick drove to the restaurant while Dominique was changing the song every minute. At the restaurant he sat facing the window and they ordered food to share.
They talked and laughed a little bit too loud. The dinner went so good that Dominique was worried, how can a human being be that interesting and that cute?
"Hey," Dominique changed the way of the conversation when they were arriving to the hotel. "We're not going to fuck."
"Really? I thought that was all you wanted. Again,"
Dominique, between laughs said, "No, I'm being serious. I want to do this in the right way,"
"Wait, we're going to have three dates so I can kiss you?" Mick said, wide-opening his eyes.
"No, no. I was hoping you would kiss me like... right now?"
"Cool,"
Mick leaned into her, and she had to stoped him so she could control her laugh and finally their lips interwinted. In that fleeting moment, time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other. She could feel her heart racing, matching the rhythm of his own. Dom entangled her hands in Mick's hair, pushing him closer to her.
Mick put a hand in her back and she took that as a sign to separate their lips.
"Mick, hey," Dominique said, connecting looks with Mick. He was totally blushed. "I'm being serious, I want to take things slowly."
"Okay, I can do that," he nodded, with a soft smile.
"I mean, we are working together so maybe if we go very fast we'll have problems and I don't really want to have problems, because you're very sweet and I like you."
She left out a long breath.
"You like me?" he faked susprise. Dominique rolled her eyes and then she felt how Mick grabbed her hand softly. "I like you too, Dom. Just to be clear,"
"Oh, thank you. How thoughtful,"
Mick laughed. "C'mon, I'll walk you to the door of your room."

bros cuddles (hlvrai)
Tumblr media
summary: the science team is Tired and they Cuddle . thats it . lol
a/n: im a tommy kin and i was having a hard time sleeping so i wrote this a few months ago . its all platonic. also bubby is hard to write
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The dripping sound of the pipes was pounding in his head. Every noise felt elevated to the highest degree. Tommy stared at the ceiling, sitting against the wall of the Black Mesa floor, the chill of it feeling like it sunk into his bones. Around him the rest of the crew slept.
In his brain’s constant quest to identify patterns around him, the science team's sleeping habits were now familiar.
Gordon always slept curled up on his side, tense in his sleep. Tommy had hoped his dreams would allow him an escape from how on edge he always seemed to be, but after noticing that he wasn’t so sure.
Dr. Coomer and Dr. Bubby often stuck close together, and they were no different now. Coomer liked to sleep on his back, even if it did make him snore, which Bubby complained about, but he also liked to prop his head up on Coomer and lie next to him, resting his head on Coomer’s stomach and muttering in his sleep.
Tommy wasn’t quite familiar with Benrey’s sleep patterns, only catching them napping in the middle of other conversations, or once when he woke up and they were still asleep. They seemed to sleep wherever was most convenient, which was often just wherever he was when they got tired.
However, none of these patterns soothed him in this moment. He found himself struggling to sleep more and more. The sounds of all the weapons echoed in his mind. Each day he was dealing with much louder sounds than what he’d become accustomed to.
He wished Sunkist were here, if only for the selfish reason he wanted to hug her. Her soft fur always helped him fall asleep, and she’d often curl up next to him or by his bed, guarding him from threats, real or imaginary.
But it would be dangerous for Sunkist to be here. Despite her immortality, Tommy always worried that the exact moment she got hurt would be when she suddenly would stop being immortal, or maybe she’d forget she was immortal and maybe that would make her not be anymore.
His dad was nearby, he knew that. He’d been watching more closely these days. Whether that was because of Tommy, Gordon, the ‘incident’, or maybe a mix of all of them, he couldn’t be sure.
He- again selfishly- hoped it was because of him, though he knew deep down that was probably not the case.
His feelings about his father, the ‘Gman’ were complicated at best. They’re his dad, and he loved them, sure, but the recent reappearance after many years of absence was a big thing to get used to.
His father was busy, yes, but Tommy had always hoped they’d have more time for him someday.
But they never did, and Tommy had stopped hoping.
Tommy didn’t exactly want his fathers “comfort” at the moment. His dad was not very good with emotions like comfort, and Tommy knew it’d likely make things worse.
Tommy was only startled out of his thoughts when someone snapped their fingers in front of him. He scrambled back quickly, but realized it was only Bubby, who was squatting in front of him.
“Jeez loueez no need to be so jumpy!” Bubby scowled, but Tommy had learnt he often did that, and it was not indicative of his mood.
“Sorry…” Tommy muttered. His gaze flicked to Dr Coomer, who was still lying on his back, pawing at the air in his sleep and muttering something about a championship and some sort of gaming console.
Tommy wondered what he was dreaming about before turning back to Bubby.
“You look terrible kid, you should sleep”
Bubby was quite blunt.
Tommy bit back a retort, knowing Bubby was much better at that than him, and it wouldn’t be very smart to start that kind of fight.
“…I can’t sleep” Tommy complained “it’s too much- I-it’s way too loud in here. Even if- even when it’s quiet”
Bubby sat, thinking seemingly
“I usually use Coomer as a pillow” he began, Tommy didn’t inform him he already knew this information
“but when I focus on his snoring it helps me drown out the sound of anything else”
“But how do you- how are you sure you’re gonna be safe all night then? If nobody’s keeping watch over you”
Bubby waved a hand
“You all are very loudl. If something happens I’m sure I’ll wake up to Gordon yelling his head off”
“…I guess so…” Tommy still didn’t feel convinced.
“Why don’t we try to find a noise that you can focus on?” Bubby offered. Tommy sighed but nodded
“Yea… Usually I have Sunkist a-and she helps me feel safer…” Tommy hugged his knees, and Bubby was lost in thought.
“...Say, you like Wikipedia right?” “The- The free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit?” Tommy looked up hopefully
Bubby grinned. It wasn’t like how people were supposed to grin, Tommy thought. It was more like a chimp bearing its teeth, but he’d learned that was just how he smiled.
Bubby walked over and nudged Coomer with his foot. Coomer muttered about gloves and Bubby rolled his eyes (Or, Tommy assumed he did. He couldn’t quite see behind his glasses.)
Bubby picked up Coomer and carried him over, dropping him on the ground. Coomer jolted and yelled something about ropes, but Bubby tapped him and he calmed down.
“Oh, Hello Dr. Bubb-” “Shut it! That one’s still sleeping” He jabbed a thumb towards Gordon, who stirred a bit.
Coomer’s voice was quieter, but not like a whisper, more like someone had used a remote to turn the volume down.
“Coomer, recite the boy a wikipedia article!” “Wikipedia, The Free Online Encyclopedi-?” “Yes, yes that!!”
Tommy tried to get comfortable on the floor, but it wasn’t working very well. Coomer lied back down, resting against the wall, and Bubby lied down next to him, resting his head on Coomer’s side.
Coomer noticed Tommy’s struggles and kindly patted the spot next to him, offering Tommy to share the space. Tommy was hesitant, he wasn’t very used to any sort of physical contact. He hadn’t had many friends, let alone ones who wanted to be affectionate with him.
He hated to admit it, but he still flinched whenever Gordon put a hand on his shoulder.
Coomer was the exact opposite however, constantly poking, hugging, and messing with other people, so Tommy suspected it was very normal for him.
Awkwardly, Tommy scooted closer, resting his head on his side, and Coomer put an arm over him. It was very comforting, he had to admit.
“A Chair Is A Piece Of Furniture With A Raised Surface-” Coomer began reciting, and Tommy felt himself relax.
It reminded him of his dad. Gman would recite OSHA guidelines, rules, and encyclopedias to get him to sleep, whether because he thought it would bore Tommy into tiredness or because he genuinely thought it was interesting was beyond him, but Tommy had grown a liking for them regardless.
As he listened to Coomer ramble on, his mind wandered.
His dad was nearby, and he was safe. He shouldn’t worry about that. Even if it wasn’t as direct as Sunkist’s guarding, Tommy doubted his dad would let him get hurt.
But he didn’t just have to worry about himself anymore. He willed his tired eyes- which he hadn’t realized had closed- open, and his gaze tiredly flicked to Gordon, who was still curled up. He looked to Coomer, who was still reciting the entire page, reading out each resource link letter by letter.
“Hey Dr Coomer?”
“Yes, Tommy?”
“...Can we uhm- Can Mr. Freeman join us? He’s- he looks… cold”
Coomer’s eyes squinted in a strange sort of smile. “The More The Merrier!”
Tommy stood and walked over to Gordon,  and very gently reached down, tucking his arms under Gordon’s, and lifted him up, careful to not wake him. Gordon stirred a few times, but ultimately Tommy was successful.
He sat down, moving Gordon to be close to the pile. Tommy curled up by Dr. Coomer again. Bubby was already asleep, and contrary to what he said, he was the one snoring it seemed. Tommy hadn’t noticed that before.
Coomer continued reading out the link he was on, while Tommy’s eyes slowly closed. The dripping of the pipes was merely a background sound now, and easily filtered out. And though he felt the cold of the room threatening to chill him, he felt so warm next to his friends.
This was nice. Tommy appreciated the group's company, of course, but as of late it’d felt… Better than before. Tommy realized in this moment that they were his friends. They cared about him, and they’d help him.
Tommy smiled tiredly, curled up by Dr Coomer and Mr. Freeman.
The cold had passed, and only warmth remained.
He hoped it would last a long time.

When the Stars Align (Bakugou x oc)
The little girl gazed up at her mother, green irises filled with wonder and love. She’d always been a perceptive child, always asking questions on how the world worked, always getting into things she shouldn’t.
“Momma,” she said softly with her feather light tap to her shoulder. “I have a-“
The woman lifted the eight year old on her lap. “-question? Go ahead Rae.”
She beamed and curled into her arms. “Why didn’t you and Dad get married like Ashlyn’s parents?”
Her mother chuckled. “I knew you’d ask that soon,” the girl opened her mouth to speak but got cut off. “Your father and I didn’t need to get married because when we were born we were meant to be together.”
“Why?” She chirped.
“Well our families have what’s called soulmates,” She saw the confusion on her daughter's face. “That means fate made us to be a match.”
Rae’s eyes blew wide. “Do I have a soulmate?”
She smiled and kissed Rae on the forehead. “Yes, yes you do.”
It started showing when she was 13, on her birthday at 12am exactly:
She had a dream.
In the dream she saw a boy about her age, he had dark green hair and eyes, for a brief moment she thought this was the boy she was meant to love forever, but the moment she truly looked at him she knew he wasn’t.
“Stupid Deku,” it was her mouth yet not her voice. “You’ll never be good enough to be a hero like me.”
A hero? She thought. This sure as heck doesn’t sound like one.
“Cmon Kacchan you know a quirk doesn’t make you a hero.”
Kid makes a point.
(Switching to first person)
I woke in a cold sweat, Anika shaking me quickly with wide eyes. “RAE!”
“I'M UP!”
She sighed. “Dude your quirk started in your sleep and shit started shifting in my room.”
I was wide awake running into the hall. “Mom!”
My dad opened the door with a stern look. “Someone better explain to me why our house is backwards.”
I winced and looked down. “That would be me.”
Concern filled his eyes, replacing the anger. “What happened?”
So I told him and my mother what I saw, by the end Anika was jumping up and down. “I’m so excited.”
I frowned. “For what?”
Mom and dad made eye contact. “You remember how we came from families of soulmates?”
My breath hitched. “You mean-“
She smiled and Ani squealed. “You and your soulmate are both 13 now!”
I’d given up on the whole soulmate thing for a while. I saw his memories every night, most of which were about victory in some form, or about the boy named Deku.
I came back to it after I turned 15.
All leading up to afternoon was tame, that was until I happened to glance at my wrist.
Train at 3 today
Tell Mom to buy pens
Call Na-
I watched in fascination as the sentence finished before me, the only thing I felt was a light press of a pen.
Dad saw my baffled gaze and followed my eyes to my forearm. “Moora come in the kitchen!”
Soon the whole family gathered around my arm.
Anika, now 17, elbowed my stomach. “That means your his age too.”
I made a curious face and seized a pen. “What if I…”
Hello :)
Mom chuckled. “Our little girl’s all grown up.”
It took him a few hours to respond but I felt it.
Hey
I picked up my pen and scribbled the answer with a small smile.
Hey
Sorry I didn’t say anything the first time
It’s okay no rush
He was silent for a moment, as was I.
I’m I frowned as my name faded from my skin.
You’re what
It won’t let me write my name
I tried again and groaned as the entire sentence faded into the carmel tan of my skin.
Me either
Damn I pulled myself up from my window sill and sat in the nest of pillows on my bed.
Won’t allow my number either
It’s like it doesn’t want us to meet
I’m getting mixed signals from fate or some shit
I snorted and wiped down my arm, Question
Shoot
Do you see my memories when you sleep?
No tf i have a little red string on my pinky telling me which way to go
BRO WE CAN DEADASS GET THIS OVER WITH IF YOU JUST FOLLOW IT
I tried but it disappears if I do
Fuck fate fr
Lol
We talked into the early hours of the morning, I learned Deku’s name was really Izuku and he was his old friend, I learned Kacchan was a stupid nickname he came up with when they were kids, I learned he wanted to be a hero when he grows up, I learned that he didn’t want a soulmate in the beginning.
Oh I wrote when he told me.
Not now tho after i got your first message I felt like it would be wrong to push you away
So I’m not an extra
Of course u r
Tf
Just not the worst one
I’ll take it
I told him about my family and my friends, I told him about my quirk and that I too wanted to be a hero, I told him about how I didn’t believe my soulmate was real until I saw the writing.
Why? He asked when I told him.
A lot of what I saw in my dreams was just yelling and explosions so I was convinced I was insane it took a while for my parents to really get me to understand but even then I was afraid you’d be someone who hates me like other people
I’ll kill anyone who hurts you
Thank you seemed like the wrong thing to say to that, any sane person would’ve called the police and gotten scared, but I laughed and rolled over with a smile. Immediately groaning when I saw the sun peaking out my window.
The sun just came up here
Same
Do you live in, the word Japan faded and I smacked my forehead.
I live in
I’m not even gonna try and put down what school I go too
Fate sucks fr
Not that bad
How so?
I met a girl who doesn’t give a fuck that I’m an ass
I flushed from head to toe Lucky girl
I'm the lucky one
Nope
Yup
Nope
Yup
No I’m far luckier for meeting someone who doesn’t care that I’m strange
You’re not strange whoever believes that is wrong
And you’re not an ass
I woke to the ceiling with the blank stare, my face in a tired frown, bags practically tattooed under my eyes.
Morning
That got me up, I slid out of bed and reached for my pen.
How’d you sleep?
Good and you?
Meh some extras blowing up my phone all night,
I giggle and walk down stairs with the pen, Anika rolls her eyes at my cheerful state. “Sup fucknugget.”
With a frown I use my quirk and spin her chair around, the floorboards rippling around at my command. Dad came down stairs and lightly hit me on the back of my head. “Fix my floor Rae.”
I turned the wood back to its original position with a huff, Dad mumbling a thank you and pouring me a cup of coffee. “What’s on the agenda Rae?”
Shrugging, I tell him. “I’m off work, might just take a nap.”
Anika gasps. “No! You told me we’d train for my admissions test.”
My idiot sister waited until she was 21 to become a licensed hero, so now she was asking me to train her on everything before the big test.
“Sure, what time?” I truly didn’t care when we went, I just needed the training.
“After breakfast?”
“‘Kay, just be ready.”
“C’mon Bakugou!” Denki begged again.
“No.”
“Really bro?” Kirishima deadpanned. “He can go with-”
He glared at him. “No, don’t side with Dunce Face.”
“Pleeeeease, my friend and I went to a pretty beach just a few minutes away, it’s super hidden so no one will film.”
Kiri rolled his eyes. “You can go Denki.”
Bakugou whirled on him but after these years Kiri had far outgrown him, now towering the blonde. “Fine,” he grumbled, turning to leave. “Hurry the fuck up.”
“Yay!”
“I took my friend to the beach yesterday to train. It was so much fun,” Anika chirped as I drove down the road.
I shot her a look. “Did you tell him about-”
“No Rae I didn’t,” she said exasperated. “I wouldn’t tell a secret like that.”
“Sure.”
She smacked my arm. “I wouldn’t.”
“Mhm.”
“Rae,” She said dead serious. “I’m your older sister and I’m so proud of your accomplishments, I would never jeopardize your job.”
I laughed softly. “I know, I just worry for the day people find out I’m Atlas, hell even my soulmate doesn’t know, it won’t let me tell him.”
“Sometimes the filter really bothers me,” She told me. “I understand the pain of not being able to tell him the full story.”
I nodded solemnly, pulling into the public beach parking spot. “C’mon time to walk.”
“Only thing I hate about this beach.”
“What the hell Kami!” Kiri shouted, throwing his hands up around him. “You said you knew where we were going.”
He chuckled nervously under the glares of his friends. “Oops.”
Bakugou was practically boiling in rage and frustrating. “Thanks a lot Dunce Face, now we’re lost and our phones aren’t working.”
“What if we make a flare?” Kiri mused. “Would that work?”
He flicked his forehead. “No stupid, we’d light the whole forest on fire.”
The boys were just giving up hope, in the middle of the woods with barely enough water to last the day and one granola bar.
Bakugou’s head perked up when he saw his wrist.
Are you okay I feel like something’s wrong
He rifled for a pen and wrote down an answer.
Denki got us lost on a hike
The fuck? Are you okay???
Yeah just angry
I’m mad there’s nothing I can do
Lol
“AWEEEEEE,” Kiri squealed looking over his shoulder. “She’s so nice!”
Bakugou got ready to punch his best friend but got cut off.
“OW, YOU BITCH!” The yell came from the right of them.
Denki sighed and looked at the boys. “Told you we weren’t lost,” but stopped when he saw Bakugou’s sparking hands.
“Let’s just ask for directions and get out of here.”
Anika rubbed here arm and swore after I punched her arm. “That was uncalled for.”
“What if I’d stabbed your arm,” I told her. “You wouldn’t be complaining then.”
“Uh no, I’d definitely complain either way.”
I rolled my eyes and dropped into a fighting stance. “Round four, three-nothing.”
She groaned but raised herself into an acceptable stance. “Ready.”
We circled each other, I called upon my quirk, the sand shifted with me as I stepped, neither of us made a move  to attack. She lunged forward to grab me but I spun away with grace of a dancer, under my feet the sands balanced me.
I watched as she pulled in air and released it in a loud WHOOSH, pushing me over closer to the water.
She continued to throw gusts of wind at me, each more forceful than the last.
“You’ve been practicing, haven’t you?” I shouted over the roaring wind, a grin forming on my face.
Her eyes sparkled with mischief. “Just a little,” she replied, sending another gust, this time aimed at my feet, causing me to momentarily lose balance.
Using my quirk, I swiftly transformed the sand beneath my feet into a firmer platform, allowing me to stand my ground. I then molded the sand into a series of barriers, hoping to deflect her relentless attacks.
But Anika was quick. She directed her gusts upwards, sending spirals of sand high into the night sky. I watched, a bit awed by her skill, as the sand took the form of large birds, flapping and soaring over the beach, aiming at me.
Laughing, I decided to up the ante. I pulled moisture from the surrounding air, turning it into droplets of water which quickly crystallized into sharp, gleaming icicles. With a flick of my wrist, I sent them darting around Anika, not to hurt, but to challenge.
She deftly manipulated the wind to create a vortex around her, causing my icicles to swirl harmlessly before melting away. "Is that the best you can do?" she teased.
Taking a deep breath, I focused my energy. The sand around Anika began to ripple, forming a series of walls, which quickly transformed into a box to hold her. She looked around, momentarily surprised, before a sly grin formed on her face. She summoned wind currents to lift her up, attempting to get a bird's-eye view of my creation.
I wasn’t about to make it that easy for her. As she ascended, I manipulated the atoms in the air, creating a dense fog, obscuring her vision. I could hear her groan of frustration.
Descending back to the ground, she tried to break through, I reshaped and shifted the walls constantly, making it a challenge for her. But after some time she tore through the ground blowing up the box from below.
A migraine fuzed the corners of my vision, Ani saw this and darted forward, I stubbornly fought hand to hand until one of us lost. She threw poor punches and I frowned trying to amp her up to be better than that.
Needs work… I thought to myself.
I could see as she became tired of my toying around, finally stopping the hitting, she spun around to kick me with a round house.
“Too slow,” I whispered, catching her foot and knocking her over. “I taught you better Ani.”
She huffed angrily and tried to sit up, but exhaustion weighed down on her and she laid flat to the floor. “I give.”
I laughed and gave her my hand. “Puss.”
“That’s not fair, you're a trained hero!” She exclaimed taking it, she opened her mouth to say something else but something caught her eye. “Hey this is private property!”
My face turned confused and I turned to the tree line. “Who’s there?”
A man easily over 6ft came out of the woods with a blush. “Sorry I got a little lost.”
I grin and shift my weight onto my right leg. “Sure man, where’s the others?”
A shorter guy with sunshine yellow hair came after him. “Ani!”
My sister’s face beamed and she ran up to him. “Kami!”
I deadpanned at her. “Really?”
“Bakugou! Over here!”
“Three of you…” My voice trailed off as I saw him for the first time.
Seeing him was like breathing for the first time, it was like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time, it was like my body got plugged in and electricity was flowing through me. My eyes widened and I knew he felt it too as he stumbled out nearly tripping over a tree branch, never once taking his eyes off me.
“Rae?” Anika said with worried eyes. “You okay?”
I didn’t answer, my lips were magnetized to each other, so I nodded numbly. I stepped forward because it just felt right, at this point Ani was next to me and the red head was with him.
“You’re scaring me Rae,” She said nervously. “I don’t wanna tell dad his favorite child died.”
He faintly gasped when she said my name, his hand sparking.
“Screw it.”
Suddenly a powerful outburst of wind threw me off the beach into the water, my instincts kicked in and I solidified the air under my feet. “Anika what the fuck.”
She crosses her arms smugly and grinned. “There she is.”
The boys gaped as I stepped down from the air. “That was a bit excessive.”
“Nah, worth it.”
“You good Bakubro?” The red head asked him.
‘Bakubro?’ I mouthed to myself. That doesn’t sound ri-
“It’s Bakugou.”
I looked up at his vermillion eyes, they bore into me but I held my ground.
“I’m Rae.”
Anika gave me an unsure look. “Uhhhhhh, ya’ll good?”
“Mhm,” I nodded. “I’m great.”
“So you’re Atlas?” He asked me later.
We’d taken them out to the beach house just around the corner. “Mhm, and you’re Dynamite?”
“Yeah.”
The silence wasn’t awkward but rather comforting.
“All these years, we've been going to goddamn meetings together,” I laughed. “Who knew?”
“If we’d talked at all this could’ve been done with this a lot sooner.”
I shook my head in amusement. “Who knew?”
On the beach was Ani and the other two, they were teaching her how to punch properly. I gave up and went to the porch.
From what I could tell he wasn’t great with feelings, I think I’ve known that since we first spoke. So I took the first step and gently took his hand.
“Is this okay?”
He took a steady breath. “Yes.”
