not back, deleting some fanfics.

Heyy everyone, it’s been quite a long time since you have heard from me! however, i’m not here to stay :(

so, as some of you may have heard, the allegations against dream have turned out to sadly be true. because of this information, i’m going to delete every fanfic on my page that includes dream.

it disgusts me thinking about how i’ve publicly posted adult content about a groomer, and i hope that nome of you have lied about your age and read my fanfics. it’s vile and quite frankly very upsetting.

aside from that sad note, i hope you all are doing well. have a great christmas and happy new year. wishing nothing but love and great things to be cast upon all of you.

I just wanna thank this fandom for being so awesome.

I started getting into jwcc at the end of last year, and I was a little nervous, but it feels like I’ve been here forever. There’s so many cool people I’ve met that have made me feel so welcomed.

I love creating and sharing my art with you. Whether it’s silly or serious. I have so much fun creating fanart for myself and you guys of these characters that I love so much. And even seeing what everyone create because there’s so many talented people here.

JWCC and JWCT means a lot to me. The characters mean a lot to me. This is also a thanks to anyone who worked on the shows. Cast, crew, anyone. They truly are amazing and you’ve made something special.

Uh yeah, idk why I’m doing this, but you guys are awesome. I’m so excited to get to experience s2 of chaos theory with you guys. Decided to draw the n6 as appreciation.

I would like to bring attention to the fact that Yaz's render (and Sammy's kinda), in the cover with Toro and the campers that is used for the dvd, is just standing in the Gyrosphere.

Like I remember someone bringing this up ages ago but I thought it would be funny to mention it during yasammy week.

It seriously takes me 40 minutes to watch through a 22 minute long episode.

Oh, why?

Well, I need to rewind every scene so I can see every character's expression, need to know where all of them are looking, and where they had their arms. I also need to rewind every cute scene I see, if I missed one single detail, could either be I missed a detail of a rock or tree in the background, or it could even be a background thing/background character. When it's about cute scenes with yasammy for example, I need to rewind and pause for a good amount of time, just so I can take in what happens, I need to look everywhere to see where they hold each other, how long, if they move their hands/arms anything, if it's a scene where one of them is holding the other's arm, then I need to see what the other person is doing and that person holding it, where she's having her other arm that she's not holding her gf's arm with and so on and so on.

Idk if this is a problem only I have or if more people do this, but either way, I am freaking out, it is SO annoying, but I just can't stop. Like, seriously. It's not only when I watch CC/CT, it's literally every show/series/movie I'm watching. I think I'm annoying my friends when I watch stuff with them. I am rly doing my very best not to do it when I'm with other people tho.

So, given that my brain is giving a short hiatus from Yasammy week (I will get it done, my brain is just being stubborn), I wanted to pop in and talk about one of my favorite Camp Cretaceous lines that I don’t feel like gets talked about enough in the community.

Spoilers for season 5 if you haven’t already seen it, but I’m assuming most of you have.

I can’t remember the exact episode from season 5, but it revolved around Yaz and Sammy restricting their affection towards one another in the wake of Kenji’s betrayal because they didn’t want to offend their friends.

Once the other campers found out about it, Brooklynn says:

“What you have is awesome. Let it BE awesome.”

That quote always stuck with me. While yes, it reflects that the blossoming relationship between Yaz and Sammy is beautiful, I always took it as more of a subtle nod towards the LGBT+ community as a whole.

Because yes, what you have is awesome. You are loved. You are welcomed. Even in the face of adversity, what you have is beautiful. Nothing or no one should be able to take that happiness from you.

Especially Ben’s reaction towards Yaz admitting her feelings for Sammy. Like, the campers were all so supportive of them and I love that. Even when Kenji came back to his friends, he was overjoyed for them. True friendship and love indeed.

i switched up my hc design just a tad cause i didn't like it too much! she also kinda looks like aubrey (omori) in the first one and i didn't mean to do that oops 😭😭

anyway. brooklynn isn't even one of my favs but i seem to draw her the most?? shes just really drawable i guess LOL but yeah... wanted to add to this lil trend of jwcc characters in. this trend. yeah

Thinking about various different ways the Nublar Six Five dealt with the grief of Brooklynn's death. Thinking about how hard it must've hit them after everything they went through with her; how not only did they lose a close friend, but a soulmate too

You know how in Camp Cretaceous Darius was our protagonist, Kenji was our deuteragonist, and Brooklynn was our tritagonist while the other 3 were tetartagonists. I definitely think Chaos theory is going to switch up which characters are going to be in the spotlight (and not only because of the Brooklynn situation obviously requiring a new tritagonist 🥲) this is how I predict the dynamic switching.

-Darius is obviously going to remain our protagonist I don’t see that ever changing and the plot is tied very heavily to him so I don’t have many thoughts on that .(I’m very excited to see more exploration of his psyche)

-Ben is shifting to our deuteragonist this time around seeing as not only is he taking charge of collecting everyone and researching the behind the scenes stuff (as well as having involvement with mantah corp through his work on the island), but his character is also heavily tied to Darius. Due to Brooklynn no longer being in the picture (☹️) and hints that Darius and Kenji are distant at the moment, he’s clearly the closest person Darius has right now and from their time on the island it’s shown that they understand each other in a way that others don’t (I mean he literally knew that Darius would be blaming himself for Brooklynn’s death and set out to reassure him that it wasn’t his fault).

-Next up is our Tritagonist, and upon further reflection of the trailer and especially the new poster that came out recently I think it’s going to be Sammy. I’m not a hundred percent sure about this but when watching the trailer there was a lot of focus on her much more than Yaz and Kenji. I think her ties to mantah corp are definitely going to come back and we can see through some hints in the trailer (and especially the new caution sign promo photos that were posted today) that bumpy is most likely living on her family’s ranch reaffirming her ties to mantah corp island. Do I know exactly what role she’s going to play? Nope no idea, but do I know I’m going to love seeing her more often? Yes, yes I do.

-This leaves Yaz and Kenji as our Tetartagonists. I want to note this does not diminish their importance to the plot. I feel like it implies that they won’t be as important, but that’s simply not true. Kenji is obviously going to have an arc centering himself, Darius and Brooklynn as well as his ties to mantahcorp through his dad. And from the small snippets of Yaz that are in the trailer we’re probably going to explore her ptsd further. They’re obviously going to be involved in the plot, but just not as centered as the others that were previously mentioned.

At the end of the day this is just fun speculation and there’s no way to know for sure what the dynamics are going to be like until the show comes out! I just wanted to put my thoughts out there on the topic because I had a lot to say about it.

do you guys think ben "dying" and then coming back might have messed with the rest of the camp fam's heads. do you think there was a small period of time after brooklynn's death where some of them were subconsciously waiting for her to show up one day alive and well. and the punch on the gut when the months went by and they had to face the fact that she was really gone.

Ever since Camp Cretaceous ended, I've been slowly writing post-canon/AU (now that we have Chaos Theory) fanfics for Benmina and sometimes other ships, which requires me to breakup Yasammy and sometimes Kenlynn. Which hurts because I've actually grown to like them, but I love Benmina more.

I imagined these characters are going to be mourning the end of their years-long relationships, possibly even hoping to reconcile with their exes initially. At minimum, there would probably be 3-6 months before they're ready to move on, and sometimes feelings are messy, but even if their new romantic interest falls in love early on, I don't think any of the N6 would ever talk bad about or risk their friendships with either half of any former couple-

Darius in canon:

Open to the idea of dating his brother's ex-girlfriend less than a month after the 5-6 year relationship ended and judging him while not knowing the whole story.

Darius, I can't believe this needs to be said, but please, do not pursue your brother's ex-girlfriend.

...or if you absolutely must, maybe wait a few months? At least? Please?

And most of all, maybe talk to him about it rather than making assumptions?
