I've been lying to myself. I told myself to move on, but my mind, body, and soul can't. For the first time in a long time, I felt reality reality of hugs, kisses, and true emotions that I thought were frozen, but I lost the one person God has chosen. The nightmare became vicious and ferocious. Destroying our emotions. We fell and become broken. I still feel the connection. Something my heart can't continue to reject. This is so depressing I lay empty and restless for losing the love that always kept me breathless.

Shattered mirrors
on the living room floor,
a place where mirrors —
in any form —
should not be.
Lying and laying —
up and down the room
they reflect each whole thing,
its completeness,
as if the very sight
could harm us —
so perfect, so unreal
from their perspective.
I drown on the floorboards,
you waste my tears
by drying them.
All the lies,
the lies you told,
up and down the room
like mirrors, broken ones.
Truth reflects nothing
unless it’s broken.
Outside this room,
you roam the hallways,
searching for feelings within.
Dating a lie,
dangerous and monstrous
like your mind and soul.
Survival is a matter of time
and a dance on balanced sheets.
The shattered pieces still lie there —
waiting for completeness to end,
chaos ensuring perfection.
The lies fall still
in the afternoon light
that rests on the floorboards.
Breathing easily now,
vanishing glimpses —
truth fades slowly,
holding no place
between you and me
and all the lies you told.

We’re not really broken. We just haven’t reached that wholeness that lies underneath.

Can’t Say Goodbye,But Can Say Good Luck #169
This is my final poem, penned with tears,
To express the love that's echoed through the years.
I can't say goodbye, for it cuts too deep,
But I must let go, and allow my heart to weep.
The ache of missing you, a constant pain,
Yet I must cease writing, for my own gain.
Though these words may never reach your sight,
Know that in my heart, you shine so bright.
I hold onto hope, that someday we'll find a way,
Back to each other, where love will stay.
If not, I'll bear the consequence of fate's cruel hand,
And cherish memories of the love once grand.
If you return, my answer will be clear,
In a heartbeat, I'll embrace you near.
But reality whispers truths I must heed,
Accepting the love we had, as a sacred seed.
So I bid you farewell, with love ever true,
In my heart, always, I'll hold onto you.
Dreams and prayers carry my hopes, come what may,
We may find our way back, in some future day.
Yours Faithfully🌻

Random Bit of Advice #2
@pinestripe37Sometimes The type of help and healing that you have needed for so long can be found in a source that seems illogical to you. Intellect is meaningless. Normalcy is meaningless. Pride is meaningless. Even fairness and equality may become meaningless for a time. God's Will holds all of the meaning. When you are simply on the verge of breaking, God will provide you with someone that you can break against, someone that can see you shatter and help you pick up your fragments. Then you both hand them over to God, and He doesn't simply mend them; He creates something even stronger than what existed before. Doing something that seems to make no sense is sometimes the best solution. Bravery, humility, and the earnest desire to follow the Will of God are what matter most. Follow His leading. When you are nearly broken, listening to His instructions will produce healing. Following God's Will, even when it contradicts assumptions you've made about life, will ALWAYS provide more blessings than you could have ever imagined. Thank you, my friend.❤️

Brokenness
By Hope
I am not my brokenness Yes I was broken in such a way, that when I took a glance at thyself I failed to recognize thyself I am not my brokenness
They misjudged my brokenness and reversed it into bitterness, I was not bitter It was just a cry of a broken soul that they failed to recognize but rather level it as weakness I am not my brokenness
If silence tears were a portion of a million, at this moment I could have been labelled as one If they were an ocean full of blessings, at this very moment my name could have been Abraham If they were a dwelling palace, It could have been at the very right hand of the father I am not my brokenness neither my silent tears
