Multiple Arrests in Relation to Million Dollar Fraud

After a lengthy investigation, officers from the Fraud Bureau have arrested and charged four people with defrauding the public.
Between August 2014 to December 2019, three men and a woman were identified as being involved in extensive paramedical clinic schemes occurring throughout the . Specifically, the group assisted in setting up accredited professionals with clinical businesses associated to the healthcare and insurance field. After representing themselves as reputable business partners, the group then defrauded money through false insurance claims and redirected clinical funds for their own benefit.
The total amount defrauded is in excess of $1.06 million.  
Charged with the following offences are:
Mohammad Omar Mansoury, a 32-year-old man from the Township of Nobleton. He is charged Defrauding the Public, Uttering threats and Criminal Harassment. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on November 9, 2020
Homayra Mansoury, a 27-year-old woman from the Town of New Tecumseh. She is charged Fraud Over $5000. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on November 23, 2020
Rameen Wida, a 38-year-old man from the Town of New Tecumseh. He is charged with Fraud Over $5000. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on November 23, 2020.
Mohammed Sobhan Mansoury, a 23-year-old man from the Township of Nobleton. He is charged with Fraud Over $5000. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on November 23, 2020
This investigation remains active and investigators believe there may be additional victims in and outside of the Greater Toronto Area. Anyone who may have had any contact with any of the involved parties is asked to contact police.
