Alright, it's kind of weird that in the Thrawn Trilogy, Timothy Zahn characterizes the Bothans as a race of conniving backstabbers, considering The Thing They're Known For is being the species of whom several members died to get intel on the second Death Star in the exposition of Return of the Jedi.
