In fragile tents and broken shelters, we fight to survive the biting cold and the devastation that surrounds us. The rain seeps through, the wind cuts deep, and yet, somehow, we cling to hope.

I can't believe my family survived the genocide, thank God.

Anyway, we lost my brother in a previous war. The Palestinian always pays sacrifices in order to stay on his land.

ICE raids are set to start as soon as tuesday (JAN 21, 2025) in Chigago so make sure you know your rights, your community, and your plan.

ICE MUST have a warrant to search/enter any property. they will lie and manipulate you to allow them on the premises but if they arent holding a valid document in their hands they cannot legally do anything

They may say something like "our warrant is in the truck," tough shit, have them bring it to you, DO NOT FOLLOW THEM ANYWHERE. Do not leave your property if confronted.

If you are taken, say nothing until a lawyer is present. The exception is if there are bystanders present/filming, then you should shout your name and whats happening

If you are witnessing a raid in your community, wait to warn others via phone as the cops may be monitoring nearby communications and may use that to select their next targets. Warn by code or word of mouth

escape if the opportunity presents itself, but dont be stupid.

I've been keeping up with the news of how much death and destruction have come in this final stretch and remain worried for you and your little ones. But it seems to be really happening, you are so close! It's hard to believe but this ceasefire is only hours away! I love knowing you and your children are filled with joy and hope right now, able to see light after this long dark war of extermination. Those of us who've had the honor of meeting you in this terrible time are all eager to celebrate along side you. A ceasefire will come, and some day soon, so will a free Palestine. I hope with all my heart this happens. Please stay safe!

We’ve cried blood not just tears waiting for this ceasefire in Gaza and hopefully tomorrow it begins. So yes, tomorrow families like mine will walk out into a wasteland. Homes crushed to dust, streets erased, memories scattered like ash. We’ve buried people we love, people who deserved to live and now we stand in the ruins wondering how to go on when there’s nothing left. I’m writing this not because I know what to say but because I have no choice. A few dollars, a reblog "anything" to remind us we haven’t been completely abandoned. When the dust settles we’ll still be here broken, grieving and left with nothing but the faint hope that someone, somewhere, still sees us.

LSHTM said the findings suggest that around 3% of the enclave’s population has died due to violence, 59% of whom were women, children, and the elderly. [...] Earlier this week, a Palestinian newborn died from hypothermia in Gaza, bringing the total number of babies killed by low temperatures and a lack of access to warm shelters in recent weeks to at least six. Eight people in total have died of hypothermia, according to health officials in the enclave, including a 2-year-old toddler and a nurse.
