I don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day, BUT I got a SICK cat skull that had periodontal disease and it’s the best thing I’ve bought yet!
The infection spread into the palatine, the lower orbital, and the symphysis.
Also, the only teeth left are the canines and two premolars.
The money that could have went to a date went to a fine addition to my skull collection and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

People don't want to see that you're sad or you're angry or you're sick. They want to see that you're a little tired but still positive. You have a few more scars and a few more stories but your still the same 'Molly' you always were. People don't like change, and I'm included in that but if I have to deal with it so do you, you don't get to have me boxed up and tied in a bow for your viewing pleasure. I am only a person, I cannot exist in your mind or your life as a doll for you to coo at and tell everyone how positive and bright I am. Those cannot be my only two attributes repeated over and over again until I'm forced to smile on my death bed to make it easier for you to digest.

Gallium For Cancer
There are a few problems in this world that affect humanity. Disease comes to mind. Cancer is one of those diseases you don’t want, but there are new treatments that appear to offer promise. One nasty version of cancer is osteosarcoma, the most common form of bone cancer. The nastiness comes from the fact it tends to strike young people. Modern treatment is unpleasant but if it has not spread, a…

Bone Cancer Drugs Market is driven by growing demand for targeted therapies
The global Bone Cancer Drugs market is primarily driven by the increasing prevalence of cancer including bone tumor or bone cancer. Bone cancer drugs help in treating cancer that starts in the bones, such as osteosarcoma or Ewing's sarcoma. Bone cancer drugs include molecular target drugs, chemotherapy and others that help inhibit or block the growth of cancer cells. Bone cancer drugs are used for treating primary bone tumors and metastatic bone tumors. Primary bone tumors start within the bones whereas metastatic bone tumors spread to the bones from other parts of the body. Bone cancer drugs block the growth of cancer cells by interfering with cell division or inducing cell death. The increasing adoption of targeted therapies including monoclonal antibodies and small molecule inhibitors are helping treat various types of cancers more efficiently with lesser side effects. The growing prevalence of bone cancer coupled with availability of advanced targeted therapies are the major factors driving the growth of the global bone cancer drugs market.
The Global Bone Cancer Drugs Market is estimated to be valued at US$ 1423.67 Mn in 2024 and is expected to exhibit a CAGR of 5.2% over the forecast period 2024 to 2031. Key Takeaways Key players operating in the Bone Cancer Drugs market are Advaxis, Inc., Cellectar Biosciences, Inc., OPKO Health, Inc., Pfizer Inc., Amgen Inc., Novartis AG, Eli Lilly and Company, Debiopharm Group, Merck Co, Bayer AG, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Takeda Pharmaceutical, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd and Teva Pharmaceutical. The demand for bone cancer drugs is increasing globally due to rising prevalence of primary bone tumors as well as bone metastasis. According to cancer research UK, around 2,300 new bone cancer cases are reported each year in the UK. The increasing incidences of bone metastasis from cancers originating in breasts, lungs and prostate is a major factor driving the Bone Cancer Drugs Market Size. According to American Cancer Society, over 170,000 new cases of breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in 2021 in the US, out of which approximately 40,000 will develop bone metastases. The global companies are expanding their presence into emerging markets of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Latin America to tap the growth opportunities in these regions. Market key trends The Bone Cancer Drugs market is witnessing trend of availability of personalized medicines. With advancement in understanding of genetics and specific mutations driving cancers, targeted therapies are being developed that can identify unique mutations in an individual patient's cancer and target them precisely. This enables delivering the right treatment to the right patient and optimizing treatment outcomes. Companies are investing heavily in development of novel targeted therapies and companion diagnostics that help deliver personalized cancer care. This trend is expected to significantly influence the bone cancer treatment landscape and support market growth over the forecast period. Porter’s Analysis Threat of new entrants: High research and development costs and regulatory barriers related to clinical trials make it difficult for new companies to enter the bone cancer drugs market. Bargaining power of buyers: Patients have limited bargaining power due to serious nature of disease. However, availability of alternative treatment options provide some bargaining power. Bargaining power of suppliers: Established drug manufacturers have significant bargaining power due to their large product portfolios and scarce manufacturing capabilities. Threat of new substitutes: Alternatives like chemotherapy and radiation therapy impose a moderate threat as bone cancer drugs aim to target tumors specifically. Competitive rivalry: Potential for high profits drives major pharmaceutical companies to intensely compete through intensive research and clinical trials. Geographically, North America is currently dominating the bone cancer drugs market in terms of value owing to high prevalence, increasing healthcare expenditure and presence of major players. The market in Asia Pacific is projected to witness the fastest growth over the forecast period due to growing healthcare infrastructure, large patient pool and rising disposable income in developing countries. I saw that Richarlyson's model has one leg but two feet! So - rotationplasty!
A rotationplasty is where a persons knee is amputated, and their ankle is grafted in its place to function as a replacement knee joint!
what little I know about rotationplasties under the cut:
Rotationplasties are done to preserve the function of a patients knee. because it offers improved control over one's own prosthetic! This control allows greater agility - for ease of use running, jumping and crouching.
A rotationplasy is most commonly done to remove bone cancer that has developed at the knee.
A bone cancer, osteosarcoma, is most common in young people, a may require operation. Fortunately, young people who get this operation are still growing, so are usually expected to develop a strong and well healed graft.
From what I've seen, the ankle graft is usually set a little lower than the knee, but I don't know why ^^;
edit: I’m a dumbass and gave him a cane instead of crutches. Little man would not use a cane without his prosthetic.

On the night of Friday, October 11th, we said goodbye to Cookie.
What was thought to be allergies that was mitigated with medicine, turned out to be a recurrence of cancer. This time in her nasal cavities, cutting off her ability to breathe through both her nostrils.
We've done everything in our power to figure out the best way to treat and help her with multiple ER trips and vet visits, but overall her quality of life was degrading as she was also slowing down in her old age. We didn't want her to suffer any longer.
A year and a half ago, she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer that can exist microscopically and is fatal once in the lungs. It was only found in her leg and was believed to be in remission when she finished her chemo therapy. They barely gave us a year left with her and she beat the odds by living a year and a half more.
It is not lost on us the absolute kindness the internet showed us with all the donations we received to help with her amputation operation. Because of that, she was able to live out the rest of her life to the fullest rather than having it cut short. We gave her remaining days love and peace as she was one pampered diva and we wouldn't have her any other way.
She was a rescue that had raced for two and half years, until an accident left her with a broken ankle. They tried to race her only a few days later, but when she couldn't finish the race, she was retired. My wife, Faye, then adopted her and soon discovered that this dog was allergic to meat and was able to feed her a special diet that didn't leave her miserably sick. As Faye's Emotional Support Animal, she provided comfort and responsibility that made life more bearable to go through and together would move to a new place where I eventually entered the picture. Together, we became a family with all kinds of special needs along with joyous days.
She lived over 10 years and finally got to eat meat as her last meal before peacefully drifting away in my wife's arms and me holding her paw next to them.
Thank you for everything, Cookie. We loved you so much and we hope you aren't lonely. Maybe Sugar is keeping you company now.
Rest in Peace, Cookie.

COMICS / MANGA : Kiyoharu Togawa (REAL) - Amputee, Wheelchair User
Tumblr media
During the last PE class of the first semester, Kiyoharu Togawa agrees to race the 100M dash against the fastest boy in his class and nearly beats him, earning an invitation to the school's track team.
He soon dedicates his life to becoming the fastest sprinter in the nation, but just as his goal seems in reach, he is diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and loses his right leg below the knee.
He spends much of his time after the amputation in isolation, feeling his life is over until meeting Tora, an older man with an identical disability, a rotationplasty. Tora, a cool jet-setting tattoo artist, serves as a mentor to Togawa and introduces him to the world of wheelchair basketball through his team the Tigers.
Conflicts arise when he is offered a spot on the Japanese national team and is invited to join the Dream, the Tigers' arch-rivals. [wiki]
