Your chest tightened as you quickened your pace, each comment slicing through your fragile self-esteem. It wasn’t the first time you had heard such things, but today, they hit harder than usual. You barely made it back to your quarters before your hands began to tremble, claws digging into the fabric of your sleeves.

You slumped onto your bed, curling in on yourself as your tail flicked involuntarily in frustration. Why couldn't you just be... normal?

A soft knock at the door startled you, and you hastily wiped your eyes, attempting to compose yourself.

Jing Yuan's voice was calm and reassuring, but you hesitated. He always had a way of reading you too well, and you weren’t sure if you could face him right now.

"I... I'm fine," you replied, voice barely above a whisper.

There was a brief pause before the door creaked open slightly, revealing his familiar figure. His golden eyes, usually filled with mirth, held a gentle concern today. He stepped inside, shutting the door quietly behind him before sitting beside you on the edge of the bed.

"You're not fine," he said simply, offering his hand instead of reaching for you directly.

You stared at his open palm, your cat ears twitching under your hood. Slowly, hesitantly, you placed your hand in his. He enveloped it gently, his warmth seeping into your cold fingers.

"Did something happen?" he asked, voice patient, as if he had all the time in the world to listen.

You swallowed hard, eyes fixed on the floor. "People were talking again... about me. About what I am." Your tail flicked, betraying your agitation. "I hate it, Ji. I hate how they look at me. Like I'm some... unnatural thing."

Jing Yuan let out a soft sigh, his thumb tracing slow, soothing circles against your hand. "You are anything but unnatural."

You shook your head, pulling your hand back. "You don't get it... I try to ignore it, but I can't help feeling like... like I don't belong."

Silence hung between you both for a moment before he spoke again, his tone unwavering. "(Y/N), do you know what I see when I look at you?"

You blinked, hesitating. "What?"

"I see someone kind, brave, and uniquely beautiful." He reached out, brushing your hood down gently, letting your feline ears twitch freely in the open air. "I see ears that perk up when you're excited, a tail that curls around me when you're comfortable. And I see someone who brings warmth wherever they go."

Your ears flicked involuntarily at his words, and Jing Yuan smiled softly, a teasing glint in his eyes. "I happen to find all of it quite endearing, you know."

You couldn't help the small, wobbly smile that tugged at your lips. "You're just saying that."

"I'm a general, (Y/N). I don't have time to say things I don't mean," he teased lightly, before his expression softened once more. "Don't let the words of others steal the beauty of who you are."

You felt your throat tighten, but this time it wasn't from sadness. Slowly, you leaned into him, allowing yourself to take solace in his presence. His arm wrapped around you securely, and for once, you didn't mind the closeness.

"Thank you," you murmured, your voice muffled against his chest.

Jing Yuan chuckled softly, resting his chin atop your head. "Always. And if anyone dares to say otherwise... I'll have to remind them of their place, won't I?"

You’ve always been aware of your weight and was cautious about what you wore around people when you go out. You didn’t wear exposing clothes like other girls did, you wore more comfortable clothes and tried to hide the figure you had. You tried to wear a tight dress one time because you felt really cute and whatever, but not even two seconds in of wearing that outfit, people called you ugly and told you to cover up more. You weren’t treated well in school either, kids would pick on you because you had a little more meat than most girls did. 

You received rude comments from strangers on the streets which made you not want to go out anymore. the only time you go outside your apartment is when you go to work or go buy groceries, but you get laughed at when you pick up a certain type of food off the shelf.

you’re love life on the other hand, not so good. you did date a few guys in the past that liked chubby girl but those ended badly. none of them wanted to sleep with you and one guy told you that the relationship was just a bet between him and his friends. after those experiences you tried to focus more on yourself and not date anyone for the time being.

You decided to go on a diet just to help you body a bit. It’s been a month of dieting and you been making some progress. your stomach has gotten flatter, your face isn’t as chubby like before and you were able to wear 1 size smaller. but regardless of losing some weight, you still tried to cover up your body in any way you could.

since it’s been a month of being healthy that you wanted to celebrate. you went to the nearest convenient store to grab some ice cream and strawberry milk to celebrate.

you were welcomed by the store staff as you headed to the back where the ice cream and drinks were. you grabbed some of your favorite ice cream and 3 strawberry milk. you were debating on what else to get. in that moment, someone came into the store. you looked up to see a handsome guy that may look like he came out of a anime. he had a dyed hair, tall, deep beautiful eyes and a birthmark near his left eye. he came into the store when two other guys which they were also very handsome, but your eye focus on the man with the birthmark. he made his way through the aisle.

you looked at the time and saw that it was 10:30am. you jumped out from your spot and went to the bathroom to get ready. you forgot that you had work today. you worked at a small book store nearby that sold many genres of books, college textbooks, magazines, manga's, and comic book. the bookstore was actually one of your friends parents bookstore. you helped them a lot with the business and got a good amount of pay, enough to pay for bills and food.

since you haven’t showed up for a whole months and so you finally decided to go in. luckily they understood why you took such a long break and was happy for you to come back.

you made it to the bookstore after grabbing 4 drink by the coffee place next door, you were welcomed by the parents and your friend. it was nice to see them again and to be back at work.

you help organized the books in order and unboxed the new books that came in that need to be priced and displayed. you were working in the front for most of the time. you welcomed people who came in and thanked them for stopping by. you heard the doorbell ring and greeted them but you were busy fixing the books at one of the shelf’s that you didn’t realized who came in.

after fixing it, you turned around and saw that it was the same guy from last night. you covered your face and hid once again from this man. you tried to crawl to go to the back but got stopped by someone.

you looked up and saw the guy standing right in front of you. you felt embarrassed that you quickly got up and put on a fake smile.

“Ah! just uhm....making sure the floor is clean...haha...did uh...did you need help finding a book?”

the guy gave out a cute chuckle as he looked at you. he can tell that you were flustered. he looked around among the shelves and scratched the back of his head, pouting.

“I’m actually just gonna look around first but if I need anything, I’ll call for you to help me.”

He gave you a sweet smile as he continued to look around. You were left puzzled, maybe he didn’t recognized you because you wore a little bit of makeup and wore glasses but you still couldn’t get that cute smile of his out of your head.

you went back to the counter and waited. you greeted a few more people who came in and checked out some books that were being purchased. 20 minutes later a group of guys came in. you recognized who they were, only because it was the same groups of boys that use to terrorize you back in school. You looked him dead in the eyes. Tony was about to grab his books but and leave but someone pushed him back. It was the handsome guy from earlier. He bend down to grab the toothpick Tony flicked on the ground and held it up near Tony’s face.

“First off, there's no need for you to liter in a nice place like this, so pick this up and those books you guys purposely dropped. And two, pay for your own college books unless you want me to tell the Dean of your school. Hanyang University was it? Mhm I heard that his punishments are quite serious when it comes to bullying others...”

Tony looked straight into the mans guys and was debating on punching him, he looked up at the corner and saw that there was a security camera and handed you his card. The man scoffed and handed the books to Tony.

“See that wasn’t so bad right. Now go on ahead.”

Tony grabbed the toothpick from the guys hand and looked back at you and the man as he made one of the guys pick up the books that was on the ground. After they left, the weight on your chest lifted as you were happy someone came and saved you.

“Oh my goodness, thank you...”

You thanked the man and felt relived. giving him a smile as you thanked him again

“I didn’t know you knew the Dean of his school..”

“I don’t even go to his school, my University is in another district and I’m also an artist..”

“I’m sorry for asking, I overheard what he said...is that true that they use to bully you in school?”

“Yea...a lot back in school. It was to the point that i had to take a break from school...I almost didn’t graduate but lucky for me and my brain, I was able to get a scholarship and was able to go to the dream college. I’m only taking online class so I’m mainly at home or here working...sorry I didn’t mean to ramble on..”

He laughed at how you kept on apologizing. He handed you two books, one was a poetry book and another one was a Lord of the Rings book. 

“Lord of the Rings huh?”

“Haha yea..one of my buddy told me to read it since he made me watch the whole Harry Potter movies with him..”

“That okay, haha and good choice on the poetry book, I love the author, she’s amazing.”

“Really? Maybe when I’m done reading this one, you can give me suggestions of her other work.”

Yeosang glanced at you and leaned forward, taking off your glasses.

He gave you a soft smile and brushed your bangs away from your face. You couldn’t scan the books properly due to his actions. You blushed even harder because he was very close to you.

You were shy at first until he pouted, causing you to laugh and ate the piece he gave you. The cheesecake was sweet and creamy.

The whole time you noticed Yeosang glace at you when you laughed. He smiled a lot and made funny jokes. You both talked for hours that you didn’t want it to end.

“How about a walk down the beach?”

Yeosang suggested as you nodded.

He grabbed your hand and led you down the stairs to the ocean. His hands were gentle, soft and warm. You took off your shoes as Yeosang took them from you and continued holding your hand. The walk was nice. The wind blew your hair to the side as Yeosang was able to see your face clearly. 

You both stop to sit down as watch the waves move and the sunset. He laid his jacket down for you to sit on. You both continued to talk about your issues and was able to connect with one another. He brushed your hair behind your ear and stared at you. You looked at him, his eyes were sparkling and bright. Even with the sunsetting, you can tell he was really good looking.You looked at his lips and blushed away. Your heart was beating fast and unable to control how loud it was.

“After spending time with you today, it makes me want to spend more time with you.”

“I want to spend more time with you too. Today was great, thank you.”

“I should be the one thanking you. I got to go on a date with a pretty girl.”

Self image

Self image is a really powerful thing. It can make or break you as a person. It can tear down years and years of progress building your self esteeem up from ashes. In my case it does that regularly. I don't trust myself, I can't convince myself that I'm loved, that my partner won't cheat on me, won't leave me for someone else. I can't tell myself I'm deserving of love and I try to ruin what I have because I don't believe I should have it. I get angry, upset and so aggressively paranoid that I feel that rage building up towards the fact that my mind keeps telling me "they're no different" "as soon as they find someone they like they're gonna drop you cuz you're not worth the trouble" "no one can stay in love with you". And I know it's tiring to them but they're still here with me. I'm like a wounded, scared animal and I'm so afraid to trust them because if they break it. It's gonna be hard to survive it. It's a disease,it's not something I can turn on and off and the smallest trigger sends me down a wormhole of insecurity, self doubt, self hate etc.. and I lash out at the ones I love because of that. I don't want them to leave, but I'm so afraid of that happening that I force it to happen with the way I act. It's a disgusting cycle. Let's just hope my insecurities are wrong about this one.

hi I'm not a stranger to your blog at all and I mostly agree with you but about sean's pics on instagram, I have to disagree with you. I don't really like those pics or his appearance in general but the way you or a lot of anons here talk about it isn't right at all. Just because you don't like his appearance doesn't mean you can shame people who likes it. There's tons of people who thirsts over him or anyone honestly 1/?

and it's necessary to accept their opinions on the same thing you're talking about. Yes, some of them are minors and it's gross that they show their thirst for sean out there but it's not his fault. Those are just his progress pics, he doesn't mean to make them sexual. He may have done sexual things to his viewers in the past but please don't be mistaken to this, it's just a thing he feels proud of himself 2/?

and it's a good encouragement for others to start exercising and such. I feel like the topic of people's appearances shouldn't be brought up to judge or have such of opinions like that, there's people out there who really insecure about their bodies and such. 3/? 

He did bad things but those pics aren't that bad to be harsh on, these opinions may not your words but you agree and encourage others to say those and that's bad. You can't control what they say but at least you can shut the topic off or ask them to sound more respectfully and such. Also it really sounds like you are defending him for coming over as sexually appealing to his audience. This has nothing to do with bodyinsecurity. Yes Sean’s worked out and he’s a buff man now. So what. This isn’t the first time he has made pictures like that but on the last one he atleast had his pants on normally and not halfway hanging on his butt to show everything that’s not supposed to be on social media. These pictures are sexual. Not meant to show the progress. Not meant to show how proud of himself he is. I’m not going to shut up on this topic. You expressed yourself fine but I’m not gonna change my opinion. Sean’s becoming a sexual predator and his fans are drinking it up without a doubt.

Depressing thought #4

My anxiety and insecurities constantly tell me the most horrible things. You’re ugly, disgusting. Your boyfriend’s gonna cheat on you, there are obviously girls he’d prefer more than you, you’re a disgusting fat ugly pig after all. You’ll die alone, unloved. You’re just a sad lonely girl and no one is ever going to want you.

I constantly fear everyone in my life is going to leave me. No matter how much reassurance there is that they love me. My boyfriend loves me and wants to be with me but I can’t stop feeling the pain in my chest whenever my mental issues tell me hat he’s gonna leave, “you’re not worth it” “you’re not pretty enough for him” “he’s gonna cheat on you eventually” and it kills me that that’s what I go through daily. I can’t make it stop no matter how much I work out, no matter how much I diet, no matter how much he tells me he loves me or reassures me that he wants us every single fucking day there’s that demon riding my back telling me that it’s all a lie…. I just want to be happy, I want to be able to ignore those thoughts but it’s painful too.

Happy update

Today didn't start off too well but I'm proud to admit that the realization just dawned on me in how much happier I am with my body. I've recently gotten into a healthy regiment and my body has been responding really well. I no longer feel a great deal of jealousy towards some of my friends. I would Fred going on Facebook or Instagram because I was nervous of seeing them and how beautiful they are and having it ruin my day. But I'm proud to say that feeling is fading away and I'm more comfortable with myself and my looks for now ❤️
