Victor: It was quite awesome! Me and Sparky got to visit the beach with Elsa’s family! Even Persephone had a great time!

Toshiaki: Me and Nassor got to go to a professional sports camp, it was okay, I guess. (He was actually excited, really excited)

Weird Girl: My mother took me shopping in a different town. Everyone kept staring at me. I wonder why??

Bob: Me and my mom got to visit a real life cookie factory! We toured through and they showed us how everything worked. I hope we go back next summer!

Edgar: I played outside every single day! I even got kicked out of the park once!

Here's my (late) entry to @crow2222 Parry DTIYS!! I wanted to make it my own by drawing the musical version. Since Paul and Darry were being watched, they waited until coming back home to smooch

thinking about pony being sick.

darry and soda thinking their little brother couldn’t be any smaller than he already was. windrixville was rough, but it was somehow worse at home with his brothers seeing him delusional and refusing any of the food offered to him. seeing him beg for his best friend and their parents.

they would take turns watching him. it got to the point where darry was threatened to be fired. he hated leaving pony’s side but he knew he had to do it for his brothers.

soda stayed by his side, patting his head with a wet washrag, offering water whenever his grey eyes would open slightly, whispering reassuring words when he would whimper and toss in his sleep.

the gang rarely coming by, unable to see pony in this state. even when they tried darry would push them away. nothing was the same without him talking nonsense about his books or watching bad westerns.

pony, who would mumble in his sleep about johnny and bob and sunsets. soda and darry, who learned things he would’ve never told them when conscious.

learning their little brother wasn’t the same as they knew him. that even though they knew that, despite all the pain, he would somehow bounce back, it would always eat at him and every bite of food would taste a little like bologna.

To all the Frankenweenie kids, what do you think of gothic literature?

Victor: We all think it’s quite lovely and interesting! Elsa is a goth, so she reads gothic literature all the time, I love books so she’s coming over today to share some of her favorite works!

Toshiaki and Nassor barely pick up a book let along read one. However, they do think the idea of the dark pleasures of gothic literature may be worth the read.

Edgar usually just reads what he can but I’m sure me and Elsa can help him a bit with getting into reading. Weird Girl is quite interested in it though, along with Bob. Toshiaki would most likely tell Bob to stay away from us, so he usually comes and hangs out with us by secret.

We are surely inspired to right our own gothic stories and poems now! :)
