What entities do you think Curt and Owen are aligned to or would serve?

OOOOH GREAT QUESTION 👀

I think that Owen serves the Eye easily—he worked for MI6, he worked for Chimera, he was gung ho about having eyes everywhere via the surveillance system. He was petrified about anyone uncovering information about himself because it could ruin his life or even lead to his death, so he’s got the Fear part of the Fear Entities down. (I LOVE IT when Avatars/agents of the entities are scared of what they serve, it’s so good to think about)

I’m having a harder time with Curt 😭 I don’t think he would really SERVE any one particular entity? I guess he might be a servant of the Web (unwillingly and accidentally) via his alignment to the ASS (i feel like the ASS/CIA is super Web aligned. Like look at all the crazy stuff they do and their insane plans and their manipulation of the entire world. It’s RIGHT there), but I don’t think he would willingly devote himself to an entity yk??

PLEASE tell me your thoughts in return 🙏 especially any Curt thoughts as I am at a bit of a loss for him

The one thing I don't like about this revitalization of the community is the weirdos who think Miquella wanted to be captured are popping up on my dash again. Y'all the same people looking at SA and ask what the victim was wearing fr

Miquella knowing how to compel affection doesn't equate to master manipulator, at least not here. To weild love is to be open with your care for others. And he weilds it to cleanse and absolve people of their sins. I think the line in the Bewitching Branch description is more akin to Miquella understanding how immensely powerful kindness is when one lives in a cruel world, rather than "oo I'm a demigod who can manipulate everyone to love me mwah hahaha."

His home is full of misfits and outcasts and I see him as being genuinely proud of the community he's built. It makes the tragedy of his kidnapping all the more painful. Perhaps in the past Miquella showed Mohg care and Mohg took that and ran all the way to insanity with it, convinced Miquella loved him romantically even tho Miq shows care for all life.

God I'm ranting about this but it makes me so upset when people talk about Miquella as if he's this evil 4D chess player who wanted to be kidnapped and abused by a blood obsessed megalomaniac

Edit since this post is getting attention: I made this post before the dlc released and before anyone asks yes I Am Unwell. Miquella you deserved better for your story 😭

trying to keep all my clemviminnie thoughts contained until i get to episode 3 but

its hard

#telltale was CRAZY for this btw!! the drama of it all ALWAYS gets me #violet blaming herself for her gf/minnies death. clem helps her open up again. starts dating clem. finds out minnie is still alive?#saved violet telling clem she has nothing to worry about and she'll fight minnie if she has to to keep clem and her loved ones safe #kidnapped violet getting brain poisoned by minnie into turning against clem after feeling betrayed and abandoned by her #saved vi shooting minnie to save clem!!!!!!!!! but cant leave minnie behind because she already left her once and she cant do it again #vi begging minnie to stop trying to fucking kill them but shes too far gone. the 3 of them fight to the DEATH!!!#now add all that to the parallels and dark mirrors going on between clem and minnie in the A plot like the tension is off the charts #plus the parallels you can draw between clem and vi but those are less “you are my dark mirror” and more “we are the same i understand you”#HOW are the girlies not still talking about this #you know what i partially blame myself i dont talk about it enough either. i forget how many things ive left in my wips folder sometimes #UGH its all so good violets route just ads so much Flavor to the clem/minnie plotline its Delicious i couldnt imagine it Not being there #i neeeeeeeed to draw them fighting and being gay and maybe bloody even #if u cant tell i really want to get back to that wip i posted a few weeks ago but im Trying to Restrain Myself #i love forcing myself to take things slow sometimes really makes the brain shift into overdrive #twdg #violentine #it speaks
