Preferably where they're all sent to The Dream but separately and when they all kill gherman and become baby great ones they come back to Gotham and it's Their Dream now. Just Gotham or the world and Gotham is Home and the most like Yharnam, up to you. But I'd love to see them struggle through the brutality, or make peace with it quickly for some (in my mind Tim would be the most stable, Jason would be okay but not great, Tim just seems so,,, adaptable to me, the most insatiable for knowledge so the most accepting of the consequences of getting that knowledge, pros outweigh the cons kinda deal) with the way others were changed and just unsavable. The people of Yharnam are beasts now and the kindest way to deal with them is to put them down even if it's not permanent. And then come out of it irrevocably changed themselves, more than just mentally. The effects it has on them and the world around them. How The Dream ended, but theirs just began and what if it starts in Gotham and slowly spreads? But they're the only great ones in this world so there's no old blood to corrupt people but that doesn't stop death being...odd. Unless they share their blood in experiments to Know what it would do and if they can use it safely for those they care about. (mad scientist Tim my beloved)

Like no joke, I adore Bloodborne, I Love it (Even if I can't play it thanks to getting distracted by all the details in the surroundings & then get murdered lol)

And I wouldn't say Tim is the most adaptable, they all are, but Tim? Compartmentalizes, looks at things logically, straight up turns off his panic at times like it's a switch. But I am also very weak to mad scientist Tim. Even if they probably don't let him do human experiments (not that it stops self-experimentation sometimes)

Gosh I love this. Them still ending up found-family while these utterly horrible things happen around and to them. I wonder if they sometimes take a moment in the dreams and whisper about what they remember before this Living Nightmare. Names they don't know the faces of but know they were important to them. Memories they cling to as they try not to lose what is left of their humanity.

Oh my god, them being the only Great Ones after killing the previous ones? Wonderful idea, I adore it. I bet even if they can take human form still it would be... off. And the more one's Insight is? The more they can see that they're Other.

God the imagery of like, Gotham's moon always being red and thick fog settling across the city each night as their Dream begins is amazing. And I bet that they relish it. I bet they're relieved for normal murder and crime, compared to the Plague of Beasts they had been dealing with what felt like years. Time gets so meaningless with an Endless night full of Deaths over and over.

I bet Gotham looks even more Gothic than before. Actually, you know what? This would be perfect for a No Man's Land situation. For the city to be abandoned only to be held afloat by newborn Gods who no longer quite understand the humans, not with how long the Hunt has stretched on, but care all the same. Idk I just really like this idea in general lol. I am weak to eldritch AUs and Bloodborne is glorious.

Obi-Wan swallows, thinking through those heavy ideas. Slowly, he nods, "I am ignorant of the nuances of your craft, forgive me."

The air is crisp and clean, sea salt and the scent of weathered wood surrounding him like a familiar blanket. It's different here on the coast, back on land, compared to out on the water. The ocean spray isn’t a constant bombardment against his face and the deafening crash and roar of the waves, the creaking and groaning of the ship, and the shouting and jaunts of the crew have finally gone silent.

Instead, there's the pleasant chatter of the townsfolk as they go about their morning business. Haggling in the market, pleasantries exchanged in passing, and laughter from old friends as they discuss the day ahead and the week passed. Suigetsu can't help but grin as he strolls down the main road of the market district, enjoying the feeling of steady stone ground underfoot. It's been four months since the crew had last made port and he'd nearly forgotten what it felt like to not be rocked back and forth and nearly thrown off his feet by rough waters. He spots a few other crew around as he explores, but they all either pay him no mind or send him a less than pleasant look.

The energy on the ship had been… tense, the past two weeks. Hurried, hush discussions in the crew quarters-

(Occasionally followed by a dirty look and a door closed in his face when he happened to pass by, the voices growing even more hushed as he tried to linger and eavesdrop - What were they saying? What was going on?)

- and a cold shoulder or twelve out on the deck. Suigetsu was the youngest of the crew by several years, but this certainly wasn't some sort of ageist exclusion. They were up to something , and the growing, nagging feeling had left him with restless sleep and far too many wary glances over his shoulder.

And, with the captain staying confined to his cabin the past five days, due to a growing ailment, he knew that everything would be coming to a head sooner rather than later.

AND THE POSTMORTEM!!! it was so good. i'm powering through the road to partizan episodes right now, i'm in episode 4! i AM listening to them on 1.3 speed to get through them a little more expeditiously, and i'm also not letting myself backtrack if i miss a line or two, just kinda absorbing the vibes before slamming into partizan proper!

also, started another fanfic! what if harrowhark was the abhorsen-in-waiting. she's actually been the abhorsen for about a decade, the previous abhorsen died ages ago but she's been pretending that her father is in seclusion or something and has just been sending her out on his behalf. gideon was mysteriously dropped off and raised alongside harrowhark for reasons unknown. the kingdom is ruled by lich-king john gaius, a member of the royal bloodline who has dipped too much into free magic, transcended death and, while not malevolent specifically, has really started to cock things up kingdom-wide re: the dead. ianthe is a free magic sorcerer. i just think there's a lot of tasty potential there.

misc: i am once again On An Antibiotic [confetti] if i am not patient zero for the next antibiotic resistant bacteria it will be a goddamn miracle. anyways. onwards. hopefully this is the last one for a while…!!

I was tagged by the lovely @heniareth (thank you for thinking of me!) to share a snippet from a current WIP - and you all know what that means. More untitled vampire au tidbits woo! This time she managed to catch him off guard. Her throw was dead on, the blade flying from her fingers on course with the center of the Crow’s chest. In an instant his body dissolved into black vapor, her knife lost in the darkness and clattering uselessly somewhere against the ground. The vapor writhed and folded in on itself, shaping him back into a solid form a foot to the side of her strike, smirk fading quickly from his face.

“Perhaps I thought too generously of you after all,” he said, eyes falling shut with a disappointed sigh. “What good do you think these games will-”

A faint, tinkling sound of broken glass whispered up from Revka’s feet, the two cracked halves of the orb she’d dropped from her pocket still rolling on the concrete. There was a spare second or two, just long enough for her to enjoy a spiteful thrill of satisfaction while she watched confusion draw puckered lines across his brow. Then she was gone, yanking the edge of her sweatshirt over her nose as she threw herself full tilt through the cloud of silver dust and smoke sent bursting from the shell of the grenade in billowed, glimmering plumes.

and tommy encounters a bogart and there’s the sounds of explosions and screaming and crying and it constantly switches from techno to vilbur to schlatt to eret to dream to phil to a bloodied and bruised tubbo and somewhere in there there’s the disc confrontation and it’s just ���it’s okay tommy, I’ve lived a long enough life” “what will I be without you?” “yourself” and there’s also tubbo saying that it’s him and tommy against the world and there’s a chorus of “it was never meant to be” and then there’s “kill me phil! kill me! murder me right now!” and then “tommy, let’s be the villains” followed by “you wanna be a hero tommy? THEN DIE LIKE ONE” and there’s Dream saying “it’s not your time to die” and then there’s “I’m sorry please dream I’m sorry please-“ “sorry doesn’t cut it tommy” and then more explosion sounds and then there’s schlatt saying “my first decree as president, as emperor of this great country, is to REVOKE the citizenship of wilbur soot and tommyinnit” then schlatt saying “do you know what happens to traitors tubbo? they get executed” followed by techno saying “I’m sorry tubbo.
