[I had gotten so wiped with everything going on that I went to lay down with @oftehrrornlove. I knew he had questions I wanted to answer, but I just didn’t feel right. After running to the bathroom for the fourth time I leaned back against JM.]

I could kill Lash, I’m freezing which is my clue that I need to be with Uncle. He won’t summon him or bring me down. I’m scared, I’ve never been this sick or this cold. You would know, we've been sharing a bed longer than most even know about.

[I groaned as my stomach rolled again and emptied.]

How the hell is there anything left?

[Just as I was about to beg @oftehrrornlove to kill me, I felt a warm hand on my temple. When I was about to scream, a finger pressed to my lips.

“Hello, my beautiful Mercy girl. You and John are the only ones who can see or hear me, so no screaming okay?”

I nodded as Darius removed his finger.] How?

[Darius smiled and held out his dagger hand.

“You have impressed your great-grandfather enough to let him give me back to you and my son. Now, take my hand, Mercy, it’s okay I’m going to take you down to your Uncle.”

I looked at John before grabbing the offered palm. Those blue eyes matched my hellren’s had a twinkle in them.

“John, take her other hand, son. Be prepared, you may get dizzy.”

I closed my eyes and squeezed John’s hand as I felt every ounce of weight leave my body. The next thing I knew I was surrounded by the warmth and smells of @paradoxofadeity’s home.]

Uncle, are you awake?

[I opened my eyes and looked around leaning into Darius realizing that he was no longer ghostly.]

Uncle D, how are you solid?

[He chuckled and pointed to a male I’d never met before.

“Oh, Alijah, Merciless is even more stunning in person. Hello, Great Granddaughter mine. Please do not be frightened. I will not harm you. You see, my son, who loves you beyond his evilness, came to me with a request on your behalf. I understand that losing Darius was upsetting to the balance of your existence. That was not my intention when I had my daughter give you your male.”

I didn’t understand what The Creator was saying to me so @paradoxofdeity stepped forward.

“Merceliss, for you to have Tehrror there must be a balance of the universe. Darius was the balance. Father did not realize the impact that would have on you. As a result, I asked for an exception.”

I was still confused; my great-grandfather stroked my cheek.

“You love both of my children as a gift from me I’ve decided to give you and your male Darius back with limitations. There are only three people besides my son who can see Darius. The love you give deserves love in return. Enjoy my love, Merciless.”

Once The Creator was gone, I looked around and spotted the Sox cap in the corner. @ofadiamondgaze was here with us.]

DADDY!

[The chuckle @ofadiamondgaze gave me made me cry.

“Uncle Alijah, I think my Mercy girl is happy to have D back even if he has to stay here and such. Thank you for giving me and John the gift as well. I love you.”

I was afraid that @ofadiamondgaze would be harmed for that but instead, he was hugged and I watched as The Omega cried hugging his nephew for the first time since he was a young.] 

Grace Of My Bloodline

[Once I’d fed, I sealed the wound and thanked Z for the vein offered and curled up in the fetal position on the bed. I felt an enormous amount of guilt for taking the vein of @sullivanmag’s hellren. I felt someone touch me and I lashed out. It wasn’t until I locked eyes with my father that I eased up a bit.

“Easy, it’s just me and the cop. I wanted to see how you were feeling.”

I bared my fangs and let out a low hiss. A lot was going on in my head but the heavy footfalls of the king made me smirk.

“V, two things, number one, you know she hates Butch, why would you even think it would be okay to bring him in here? And two, get the fuck out your mahmen is here.”

My eyes grew wide and I eased a bit as the Scribe Virgin herself appeared by the side of the bed.

“My sweet Merciless you have such a warrior’s heart. Darius was so proud of you. I know you are angry that he is in the Fade, but not feeding will not gain you the reward of my sanctuary. There is someone in this house that understands your pain. That is why I have given you the gift of staying here. Now, I know you are friends with Tehrror are you not?”

I took a breath and nodded before answering the question I was asked.]

Yes, I am.

[My eyes closed as The Scribe Virgin ran her fingers through my hair.

“Good, then you will thank me for your gift. Wrath, do bring Tehrror in.”

I was confused by the order given because the last time I’d seen John Matthew, he was a skinny pre-trans male. The male that walked into the room was very different. A startled gasp left my mouth as I took in the sight before me.]

John, you’re fucking huge! How did that happen?

[The laughter out of Wrath made me glare at him and he turned to look at me.

“Don’t look at me that way, Mercy, it was funny.”

I didn’t find it the least bit funny. What happened next made me tear up. John crossed the floor to stand on the other side of the bed. He leaned down and kissed my hair.

“Hey, Mercy.”

I blinked because John had just spoken to me. My hands moved at a rapid speed to communicate with him. He chuckled and smiled softly.

“Speaking hurts, but I wanted to show you that I can do it. I want to stay in here while you rest, would you be okay with that?”

I nodded and The Scribe Virgin smiled.

“You’re welcome my child now sleep.”

My eyes closed as The Scribe Virgin disappeared from the room. Sometimes it pays to be her bloodline.]
