Oh dip, Umbrella Entertainment just announced that they're working on a 4k and UNCUT restoration of Blood of Heroes / The Salute of the Juggler, the post apocalyptic sports flick written and directed by David Webb Peoples, the writer of Blade Runner and Unforgiven. Underrated flick that so far has only been available in a DVD where the picture looks like it's been dipped in napalm and a crappy upscale blu. Umbrella's an Australian outfit but their discs are generally region free, so I'll be grabbing this when it comes out. And Berserk fans will want to check this out if they haven't, since it's another 80's movie that inspired Kentaro Miura, as you can see in his manga Japan w/ Buronson and some early parts of Berserk's Golden Age arc.

I never fully realised how heartbreaking this "I choose the prophecy" thing is. Imagine you are Annabeth. Imagine you are fourteen and the boy you have a crush on since over a year just broke literally any rule, travelled across the whole country and held the dam sky to save you, and you hear him say: "I'm gonna die in two years, because otherwise this poor little boy would have to carry the burden of the prophecy and I can't let this happen."

Edit: I feel like y'all still aren't sobbing enough, so I'd also like to remind you that six months later, Annabeth goes into the labyrinth and gets the prophecy "and your love will face a fate worse than death".

Been listening to the album a lot today and had Victory, À Tout le Monde and Addicted to Chaos stuck in my head so

Some songs are paired up because I didn’t realise before making this that there are more than 10 songs on Youthanasia. If a pair wins, I can do a rematch for them. Actually I already did that for ToC and BoH and no one voted on it but at least I know I’d vote BoH now so there would be one person voting on it this time

About why I paired those songs together: short answer - association. Long answer - ToC and BoH were for a while the only songs on the album I had warmed up to (which was why I made the poll comparing them that no one voted on), a group that now also includes Addicted to Chaos, The Killing Road, À Tout le Monde and Victory (so basically I've warmed up to exactly half of the songs on Youthanasia - I just have to warm up to Reckoning Day, Elysian Fields, Family Tree, Youthanasia, I Thought I Knew It All and Black Curtains but I think I enjoyed at least Elysian Fields and Family Tree when I listened to them) and today I randomly started associating AtC and ÀTlM with each other because of their sadder tones - I wanted to make a joke about the fact that sad song like those two are on the same album as Victory

why did they do him so fucking dirty in Trespasser anyway lol 😭 I'm half convinced he was originally meant to be an entirely different character and then last minute they were like, 'hey let's make him Teagan instead' but didn't change anything about his design. But it IS really funny when your Inquisitor rides up to the exalted council and looks up at him and he's just mean mugging the FUCK out of you
