The writer of Psalm 88: "I have been abandoned by my friends, they hate me now."
Whoever wrote the list of 365 Bible verses allegedly foretelling Jesus as the Messiah: "Aha! This is obviously a prophecy about Jesus's followers fleeing him at the crucifixion!"
Also the writer of Psalm 88: "Also I'm going blind in one eye."
Whoever wrote this list: "...We'll just ignore that part, it's clearly not important and shouldn't affect our interpretation of this passage at all. :) :) :)"

I will save you the trouble of lööking up the Bible verse in the upper left corner. 👇
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor (perversely) effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers [whose words are used as weapons to abuse, insult, humiliate, intimidate, or slander], nor swindlers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9-10

Perhaps the most significant character in any story of resistance is the prophet.
Biblically speaking, a prophet isn’t a fortune-teller or soothsayer who predicts the future, but rather a truth-teller who sees things as they really are—past, present, and future—and who challenges their community to both accept that reality and imagine a better one. "It is the vocation of the prophet to keep alive the ministry of imagination," wrote [Walter] Brueggemann in his landmark book, The Prophetic Imagination, “to keep on conjuring and proposing futures alternative to the single one the king wants to urge as the only thinkable one.” The prophets directed their most stinging critiques at the leaders of their own community (see Ezekiel 16:49). … Even the religious elites were not exempt from prophetic critique (see Amos 5:21-24). Alongside ... cries of anguish and anger, condemnation and critique, the prophets deliver what is perhaps the most subversive element of any resistance movement: hope. Employing language and imagery charged with theological meaning, the prophet asserted, despite all evidence to the contrary, that the God of Israel—the God of slaves and exiles and despised religious minorities—remains present and powerful, enthroned over all creation and above every empire.

A Call to Stand Firm
Revelation 13:16-17 is one of the most chilling passages in the Bible, a prophecy that resonates through the ages, stirring both fear and resolve in the hearts of believers. It speaks of a time when a global authority will rise, wielding the power to control not just the actions of humanity, but even their capacity to survive.
This passage reveals that all people, regardless of status "small and great, rich and poor, free and bond" will be compelled to receive a mark, either on their right hand or forehead. Without this mark, no one will be able to buy or sell, effectively cutting them off from society and the means to sustain life.
The Symbolism of the Mark
The "mark of the beast" is not just a physical identifier but a symbol of allegiance. By accepting the mark, individuals will essentially submit to the dominion of evil, rejecting God’s sovereignty. This act of submission would be more than just compliance with a regime; it would represent a betrayal of faith and a forfeiting of the soul.
The Bible warns us to remain vigilant. This mark could manifest in numerous ways—perhaps through technology, societal pressures, or ideological conformity. The question is not merely what the mark is but whether we have the spiritual fortitude to resist it, no matter the cost.
The Test of Faith
As Christians, we are called to stand against the tide of evil, even if it means facing persecution. Revelation 13:17 speaks of the economic stranglehold the beast will have on humanity. Imagine the pressure: to feed one’s family, to retain employment, to participate in society—all tied to accepting this mark. Yet, Scripture assures us that God’s reward for faithfulness far outweighs any earthly suffering.
This prophecy is a stark reminder of the spiritual warfare around us. The mark is a test—a dividing line between those who stand with God and those who capitulate to the enemy.
A Personal Resolve
For me, this passage serves as a rallying cry. It fuels my determination to remain steadfast in my faith, no matter how bleak the world becomes. I believe we must prepare ourselves now, fortifying our hearts and minds with Scripture, prayer, and fellowship. The beast’s system will prey on weakness, and only those rooted in God will endure.
Let this be a reminder to hold fast to the truth, to resist the lies of the world, and to trust in the ultimate justice of our Creator.
As for me, I SHALL NEVER SUBMIT AT ALL!

The Voice of Life: The Prophetic Power of John 5:25 and the Spiritual Resurrection Through Christ
The Voice of Life: The Prophetic Power of John 5:25 and the Spiritual Resurrection Through Christ Preface In the Gospel of John, one of the most profound and enigmatic statements made by Jesus is found in John 5:25: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” These words point not just to a…

Christmas is the Most Theological Time of the Year
Christmas is the most theological time of the year. It’s the time when the second member of the Trinity, God the Son, came into this world and took upon Himself humanity (John 1:1, 14). At a moment in time, in the womb of the virgin Mary, by a supernatural act of God the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), the hypostatic union was formed, and Jesus became the theanthropic Person, the God-Man, undiminished…

To give light to them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death,to guide our feet into the way of peace.
John 1:78-79

🔽
Dayspring : a metaphorical name for the Messiah, whose coming into the world was prophesized by Zechariah, as he spoke of his newly born son preparing the way for Jesus Christ coming to save the world. The birth of The Jesus was the biggest event in human history, & history reflects that.People followed the Way, because they saw life change for the better as Way followers.Jesus said He is " the way ,the truth, and the life.- John 14:6. His birth was the Dawnspring of a new age ,where in a short time afterwards the Holy Redeemer opened the gates of eternal life to those who put Christ's teachings into practice,(the narrow way).
Being just one of hundreds of names for Jesus Christ, Dayspring is rarely used in these times.Early Christians did use the name. The direction East has many symbolic meanings for them back then & Spring meant "from the east."They did not take the Sun for granted. It had long been a central piece of creation in civilizations preceding the Daysprings visit. They knew Temporal life is impossible without it.Early Christians believed the garden of Eden was in the East. The sun both symbolizes and mimics the giving of "light to them sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death." And every sunrise reminded them of Christ's resurrection (He is risen). From that time on Jesus Christ offers Himself daily in the Holy sacrifice of the Mass in Catholic Churches everywhere,at all times, perpetually until the second coming.
Lastly it was long tradition that Christians hung their crosses on the eastern walls of their dwellings.
May God bless and keep every follower of Him who is the Way.

If I had a nickel every time this list of 365 alleged prophecies that supposedly prove only Jesus can be the Messiah quote mined from one of King David's psalms talking about his own problems and asking God to help him, I'd have quite the handful of nickels by now. Good grief.
