There is a person standing there.

They are draped in long flowing black fabrics that reach down to the floor. They resemble a mix of silk and velvety suede. It seems the darkness of the hallway wasn’t quite as dark as initially believed. Rather, this person’s clothes are creating the illusion of a deeper darkness.
