Bob Marley: A Christian Mystic in the Rastafarian Tradition
When we think of Christian mystics, names like St. John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, and Thomas Merton often come to mind. These individuals, through their writings and lives, embodied a deep and profound connection with the divine, often expressed through personal, mystical experiences of God. However, the notion of Christian mysticism is broader than traditional Catholic or Protestant…

in the same way that its dumb to group all rap together as one thing and then say you as a whole do not like rap, you also shouldn’t be able to group together all reggae and say over all you dont like it. Its always fine to say music of any genre isnt for you, but its never okay to dismiss a type of music as badly made or dumb because of ur narrow minded idea of said genre
#smells….. hmmmmm when ppl are like ugh reggae is the worst#its hm….#hdsjfksjdn someone once said they didnt like reggae because it was christian and i was like huh what#and i was like what reggae have u heard before? and she was like ummm idk bob marley

2024-03-25 Broken (album #6 complete)
This is the upload of my new album "Broken". It's album #6 and I'm not sure if I will continue to release music as it led to nothing. However it was fun to create it, especially to jump from ambient and alternative piano tracks to sung songs which were a blend of Dance, Techno & Reggae or New Wave music but based on ambient tracks. However her is a list of all songs with time code (All songs registered with ISRC and ISWC #'s):
00:07 Tortured Hearts 03:53 There's a storm in my head 07:33 Are you coming with me 11:14 It's not easy reaching greatness 14:22 Freaks of Love 17:39 Deep into your no mind 20:55 Time stands still 24:32 All the pain in my soul 28:07 What you're running from 32:18 I'm not gonna stay 35:39 If you could see into my heart 38:43 Break me down 42:26 Dazed heart

Billboard USA Exclusion Zone Episode 24 (02/10/2024)
Yes I skipped a week and it's very much because last week was the worst one that I might reviewed on this show and for my mental health sake I don't want to put through David Kushner doing yet another bad Hozier impression or Benson Boone making Weezer late 2010s album cut with bad case of Lukas Grahamism. But I am more excited for this week because of a lot of shall we say Tea about this week's chart. And we actually don't start with the one that you know about, but with the one that's actually showed how fucked late stage capitalism is like. Kinda funny because it came from the band that have the lyrics "my boob and booty's hot".
---------------------------------------------------------
50. "Wife" by (G)I-DLE
So apparently this song was banned in SBS...because of how indecent it is. Bro you know how very much divided your country is when it comes to gender issues that a nothing burger of a song that has slight tinged of feminism in it is banned because of how indecent it is. South Korea I think you need to relax here.
95. "Praise Jah In The Moonlight" by YG Marley
So there's gonna be a Bob Marley biopic soon and seems like there's a lot of hype for the movie because his grandson's song got a viral hit with this song, making it the biggest reggae song charted since...Rude? Anyways unlike that song, this one is pure and uncut reggae which means you'll probably get the full experience if you smoke weed. I'll probably try listen to the song again with cigs but for now it's good. Also this was co-written by his mom...his mom is Lauryn Hill.
96. "Selfish" by Justin Timberlake
The fact that Justin Timberlake could now be considered as a legacy act...kinda stoked me. Well until I listened to his new singles here which...yeah this song is definitely what would a Justin Timberlake song would sound like in 2024 aka gutless and swampy.
102. "Super Lady" by (G)I-DLE
...I think Queencard might be a fluke.
104. "HISS" by Megan Thee Stallion
Alright now for the main course of the supper. I have been an avid fan of Megan ever since 2019 but I think this might be her best song to date. Also I love the fact that this song charted here and not the Nicki's response to it. Proving that people worldwide care and support Megan more than Nicki in this case (also thank god the world over still don't know who or what a Tom MacDonnald is). But yeah all the bars here connect, the beat is just the right amount of minimalist and menace. My favorite part of this song is actually that underlying bass melody. It added to the menace and venom that she spew and it worked. I know this won't last here but I'm glad that Megan exist at all.
113. "La Intencion" by Christian Nodal ft. Peso Pluma
I feel like with time a lot of corridos tumbados would refined their production and I believe this is the best produced song that I heard for the genre. It felt more tuneful and the vocal production here is clearer than ever. If say the lyrics isn't as bad this would be an all timer in corridos tumbados scene.
172. "M.A.I" by Milo j
I love it when a typical reggaeton or latin rap act would make something that sounds like something that Noah Kahan would make and it actually charted. Still waiting for the day Bad Bunny make his nu-metal song.
181. "DASH" by NMIXX
Why does this sounds like a remix between Wish I Knew You and Dang! But I'm not complaining because I think more K-Pop band should do these type of jazzy sound. I love the slap bass here and the outro is...wait was that drum n bass???
192. "Si Sabe Ferxxo" by Blessd ft. Feid
I still don't know why Feid is still here to be honest.
I highly recommend everyone to listen to these songs.

Heaven on Earth: The Teachings of Jesus and Bob Marley
Introduction In a world often divided between the sacred and the secular, it can be refreshing—and deeply inspiring—when we find connections between contemporary culture and ancient spiritual wisdom. Bob Marley’s iconic song “Get Up, Stand Up” is more than just an anthem of empowerment; it’s a profound reflection on the nature of heaven, the divine, and our place within it. Surprisingly,…

Some my fave Scorpio moon singers artist s
The Weeknd
of my favourites will moon artist Scorpio moon is the weekend he’s able to do that Lana Del Rey thing where you really feel the depth of everything in a man perspective. I may not like what he gets personally but such a deep cord,,,, he may Aquarius son and a cancer rising if he’s cancer rising his wall by his will be which makes you sound so relatable and unexpected of everything and most people can feel the deep connection with his music
Miley Cyrus
Another great Scorpio moon artist he’s an amazing voice as well not just the deep perspective performing and making it feel very connection and all of them as I keep saying it’s deep it really is the voices of wildly and that would be the tourist placements which I think is rising which then becomes a physical appearance in between in the lungs. You have long if you have strong tourist advise these placements makes a good singer for the school, inside a deep aspect of life of many forms . Dolly Parton Billy Idol and poison I think as well well I know her mother had something with him meaning Brett Michael.
George Harrison
George Harrison will always hold my heart is my favourite beetle everything that he say was the best of me the way he say it with motion and just his voice in general he’s got a lot of like religious believes as well and he’s also applied to they’ve got that very deep connection with Neptune and Pluto he was in a band with Paul and John me he is the one that stands at the Mo and his voice is something else for me, he had a life with and Eric Clapton fell in love with his wife. Just to dance with you as my favourite Beatles song.
Accused of being a witch Beyoncé is very Scorpio moon 🌒
You can say she’s racist. and that because they think she was groomed Virgo by Jay-Z because she was very young when she got with him, He has amazing talent and the Virgo by his side, in that dedication to work kind of like Michael Jackson but this will give me intense dramatic. for example lemonade that intense feeling of anger towards Jay when he cheated there is no doubt that she is the most popular female in the world. She has a enigmatic power and she just makes people come to her and she has been accused of being a witch, which makes perfect sense but I feel like Beyoncé been very young when she was still in Destiny’s Child and she was very Christian but then I think it’s since meeting Jay-Z and joining the proper industry.
Alex Turner and the Arctic Monkeys
His voice to me, he’s like a male Lana Del Rey to some degree, especially with his album why do you only call me and you’re high and I want to be yours all that period?, Nothing like when the Sun goes down and I bet that you look good on the floor good. His voice is perfect and he gives when his own version of ultraviolence he gave off a very 1950s Elvis look with his Paul guitar as well.. I love being a Scorpio moon when I see the other creatives
Bob Marley
As a Aquarius sun , he definitely brings the vibe of the collective and the whole and brings his music brings people together the reggae the sunshine the music the summer specially with the scorpion moon being in the that represents, he believes in a power beyond himself with his Rastafarianism , a lot of Scorpio moon or 12 house placements as well have the power to be religious to a great extent him being ruled by Jupiter as well would make that make sense being a Sagittarius rising.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), also known by his stage name Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Doggy Dogg), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, media personality, and actor. His initial fame dates back to 1992 following his guest appearance on Dr. Dre's debut solo single, "Deep Cover", and later on Dre's debut album, The Chronic that same year. Broadus has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States, and 35 million albums worldwide. His accolades include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 Grammy Award nominations.
Produced entirely by Dr. Dre, Broadus's debut studio album, Doggystyle (1993) was released by Death Row Records and debuted atop the Billboard 200. Selling 800,000 copies in its first week, the album received quadruple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) the following year and spawned the Billboard Hot 100-top ten singles "What's My Name?" and "Gin and Juice". He was the lead performer on Death Row's soundtrack album for the 1994 short film Murder Was the Case, wherein Broadus made his acting debut. His second album, Tha Doggfather (1996), likewise debuted atop the chart and received double platinum certification.
In 1998, he parted ways with Death Row in favor of Master P's No Limit Records, through which he saw largely continued success with his albums Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told (1998), No Limit Top Dogg (1999), and Tha Last Meal (2000). He then signed with Priority, Capitol, and EMI Records to release his sixth album Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss (2002), which was further commercially oriented. This effectively continued upon him signing with Geffen Records to release his next three albums: R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece (2004), Tha Blue Carpet Treatment (2006), and Ego Trippin' (2008); the former spawned the single "Drop It Like It's Hot" (featuring Pharrell), which became his first to peak atop the Billboard Hot 100. He then returned to Priority and Capitol—upon his hiring as chairman of the former label—to release his tenth and eleventh albums, Malice 'n Wonderland (2009) and Doggumentary (2011), both of which saw mild critical and commercial response.
During this time, Broadus starred in films and hosted several television shows, including Doggy Fizzle Televizzle, Snoop Dogg's Father Hood, and Dogg After Dark. In 2012, following a trip to Jamaica, Snoop converted to Rastafari and adopted the alias Snoop Lion, under which he released a reggae album, Reincarnated (2013), and a namesake documentary film about his Jamaican experience.
His thirteenth studio album, Bush (2015), was produced entirely by frequent collaborator Pharrell, while his fourteenth studio album, Coolaid (2016), was released the same year as his induction into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. In 2018, Broadus became "a born-again Christian" and released his first gospel album, Bible of Love in March of that year. In November of that year, Broadus was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, Broadus acquired Death Row Records from MNRK Music Group (formerly known as eOne Music), and released his nineteenth studio album, BODR (2022)—preceded by the independently-released I Wanna Thank Me (2019) and From tha Streets 2 tha Suites (2021).
The Washington Post, Billboard, and NME have called him a "West Coast icon"; and Press-Telegram, "an icon of gangsta rap". In 2006, Vibe magazine called him "The King of the West Coast". ABC News journalist Paul Donoughue, cited him among the 1990s acts that took hip-hop into the pop music charts. Broadus received the BMI Icon Award in 2011. In 2023, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Broadus popularized the use of -izzle speak particularly in the pop and hip-hop music industry. A type of infix, it first found popularity when used by Frankie Smith in his 1981 hit song "Double Dutch Bus". The Guardian's Rob Fitzpatrick has credited his album Doggystyle for proving that rappers "could reinvent themselves", expanding rap's vocabulary, changing hip-hop fashions, and helping introduce a hip-hop genre called G-funk to a new generation. The album has been cited as an influence by rapper Kendrick Lamar, while fellow rappers ScHoolboy Q and Maxo Kream have also cited him as an influence.

Finding Solace in Taylor's Songs - Weekly Swiftie Chronicles: 002
I've been a Swiftie since Taylor Swift's debut, but my journey with her music has been anything but linear. Over the years, my musical tastes have swung wildly—from country to rap, rock (emo), Christian, and even reggae. Taylor's songs were always on my playlist, but I'll admit, during those phases, I'd often skip her tracks because they didn't "fit my scene." As I grew older, my connection with music in general began to fade. I disconnected from everything, with my attention diverted solely towards boys—a decision I now realize was misguided.
For over a decade, I found myself in a dark place. I got married during this time, and while I genuinely love my husband and cherish our decision to be together, even our wedding day couldn't shake the shadows enveloping me. My job added to my misery, physically draining me and pushing me deeper into depression. My district manager's harsh words, accusing me of being dirty when I was merely depressed, only made things worse. I lost 60 pounds in just two months, which meant my scrubs no longer fit me and I couldn't afford new ones, and her advice to "come to work like I was going on a date with my husband" was both insensitive and demoralizing.
Eventually, my primary doctor put me on medical leave for stress and depression. I embarked on a daunting journey of therapy, medication, and consultations with various therapists and doctors. It was an incredibly frightening time in my life. Then, one day in December 2023, everything changed. I stumbled upon a live stream of Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" on TikTok, and my soul left my body. From that day forward, Taylor's music has been my lifeline.
Listening to her lyrics, reading her poetry, and immersing myself in her interviews and quotes have saved me daily. Songs like "exile" and "my tears ricochet" from folklore, or "champagne problems" and "tolerate it" from evermore, spoke to the depths of my soul. Taylor Swift's art has been a beacon of hope and strength. Before reconnecting with her music, I was lost, battling my pain in destructive ways. Now, I find solace in her songs. They transport me away from my darkness.
People often think I'm crazy or ask me to stop talking about Taylor Swift so much. My answer is always no. Without her, I might not be who I am today. Her song "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" resonates deeply with me. Every day, I would wake up with a broken heart and go about my responsibilities—getting my baby ready for school, cleaning the house, doing college work, working full time, and attending baseball practices and games. "Lights, camera, bitch smile… even when you want to die" perfectly encapsulates how I felt.
Taylor Swift's music has been more than just songs to me; it's been a healing force, a constant companion through my darkest times. I'm a bigger fan now than ever before because her music didn't just entertain me—it saved me. Her ability to articulate the pain and the healing process through her lyrics has given me a voice when I couldn't find my own. Taylor's journey through different musical eras has mirrored my own personal growth, reminding me that it's okay to evolve and change.
In conclusion, my renewed passion for Taylor Swift's music is a testament to her profound impact on my life. Her songs have provided comfort, understanding, and a sense of belonging during times when I felt most alone. Taylor Swift isn't just an artist I admire; she's a lifeline, a guiding star that has helped me navigate through the darkest chapters of my life.
Until next time, Swifties! If you want to hear more about the drama from my old job, or how I felt watching the Eras Tour stream for the first time, comment below. Let's keep this conversation going and continue sharing our love for Taylor!

ORIGIN OF HAIR LOCS
The first known examples of the hairstyle date back to ancient Egypt, where locs appeared on Egyptian artifacts. Mummified remains of ancient Egyptians with locs have even been recovered from archaeological sites.
The Old Testament also recounts the tale of Samson and Delilah in which a man's potency is directly linked to 'the seven locks on his head' and according to Roman accounts, the Celts were described to have 'hair like snakes' Germanic tribes, Greeks and the Vikings are all said to have worn locs too.
Rastafarianism however is something entirely separate. It was born in the 1930s when Ras Tafari was crowned emperor of Ethiopia. When the emperor was forced into exile during an invasion, guerrilla warriors swore not to cut their hair until the emperor was reinstated. The religion resonated with the ideologies of the day, for example socialism, Marxism, nationalism and black power. It was therefore, seen as a threat to Christianity and came under attack by the authorities that tried to suppress the 'Rasta' movement and imprisoned those who possessed 'ganja'. Rastafarians smoked c.annabis because they thought it prompted a clearer state of well - being. Their deadlocks were thought to be disgusting and frightening, hence the term 'dread' which was later reclaimed by the 'Rasta' community.
The hairstyle was later brought into mainstream culture through the worldwide success of reggae artist Bob Marley. Sporting locks himself, he prompted an international interest in the style, and the anti establishment philosophy of Rastafarian culture.
Locs became increasingly popular and there are many reasons in various cultures for wearing them. They can be an expression of deep religious or spiritual convictions, a manifestation of ethnic pride. They can make a political statement, or simply be a fashion preference.

What you're running from
2024-02-08 What you're running from
„What you’re running from“ has its own story. First I’ve created this tune as a pure techno or dance and rave tune but then thought I would like to have some ambient touch in it. So I’ve made a second version but instead of pure ambient a blend of reggae and ambient style. Then I pondered about what version to release and asked friends who voted clearly for the reggae version. Finally I put those 2 versions together in one tune … just for the fun of it.
Music by Christian Thanbichler
