Half of Sauron's deception in his Annatar era was his blondness. He was too blond to be suspicious. He was playing the sweet, innocent blond.

And he wore his hair red in Numenor, to give Ar-Pharazon the satisfaction of having conquered a fiery spirit, to make him complacent and easy to manipulate.

THE HAIR WAS ALWAYS PART OF THE DECEPTION.

Anyways, I wanted to share the Manwë W.I.P, yes I know he’s naked, he needs to be so I can duplicate his pose and make LOTS of concept designs for him <3
