On this night 10 years ago, Beware the Batman aired for the last time on Toonami. It aired the remaining unaired episodes in a marathon as one last Bat-Blowout. It was subject to the 2014 financial write-off, along with Sym-Bionic Titan.

Which version of this do you prefer?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This polls is part two, and focuses on non-film adaptations. Part 1, which only featured films, was posted earlier (though the 60s Batman series was also included on that poll because of Batman 66). A third poll combining the favorite options from both may be posted at some point in the future
*obviously with comics there's lots and lots of different runs that can have wildly different qualities and everything which kind of complicates things, but as the source material it does need to be included on the poll- you can just think of this option as indicating a general preference for the comics stories instead of being attached to a specific Batman run in the comics

Find it hilarious that Batman: Brave and The Bold and Beware The Batman are both children's shows that had Professor Pyg in it tho in Batman: Brave and The Bold it was a brief cameo and in Beware The Batman they made him an eco terrorist because canon Pyg is most certainly NOT kid friendly
Pyg is the LAST Batman villain you want in your DC kids show

Heroes & Villains The DC Animated Universe - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
Elseworlds Addendum - Katana
Tatsu Yamashiro was a young woman raising a family in an unspecified region of in rural Japan.  Tatsu's brother-in-law was a ruthless member of a criminal syndicate who greatly coveted her.  He attacked Tatsu’s family wielding the fabled ‘Soultaker’ katana sword.  Tatsu was somehow able to defeat him and slew him with the Soultaker; tragically her husband and children were killed in the battle.
Grief struck, Tatsu rededicated herself to becoming a peerless warrior defending the innocent.  Her proficiency in the use of the Soultaker sword was all but uncanny and she became a feared and renown avenger known only by the name ‘Katana.’
A mission that brought her to the nation of Markovia saw Katana teaming up with Batman.  The two heroes worked well together and Batman recruited her into his special operations team “The Outsiders.’  Katana would also serve as a member of the Birds of Prey and the Suicide Squad.
Although Katana did not feature in the original DCAU, the heroine was a part of the animated shows Beware The Batman, Batman the Brave and The Bold and the DC Super Hero Girls (voiced by actresses Sumalee Montano, Kim Mai Guest and Stephanie Sheh respectively).
Katana first appeared int he pages of  The Brave and The Bold Vol 1 #200 (1983).

BEWARE THE BATMAN COVER
This is just a fun comic cover I made for Beware The Batman. It was heavily inspired by AMAZING SPIDER-GIRL #13.
