James and Barty were each other’s first crushes, and only Peter knew.

James nor Barty even noticed the way they acted around each other. But Peter did.

He saw the way James unconsciously ran a hand through his unkept hair when Barty approached. He saw Barty arranging himself “cooler” (e.g. leaning against a wall, etc) when he noticed James.

Peter never got to tell either of them.

He found it funny at first. But after the two of them started at Hogwarts and started, slowly, unconsciously, growing apart. Peter didn’t know what would help. If anything would help.

He kept it under lock and key. He never said anything.

He talked to Barty even after James severed ties with him. Just because James was one of his best mates didn’t mean he had to do everything he did.

Sometimes, he wondered what would happen if he had told them. If that would make them grow together once again, or if he would just make the space between them worse.

Peter thought of both of them as he died, his silver hand tightening on his throat as James’ face floated across his mind.

He didn’t deserve to think of him, and he tried to push it away. But after a brief fight with his own mind, he gave himself the tiniest bit of mercy. He was dying. Might as well think of all of his life regrets with the last seconds of his being.

Thinking of Barty hurt less. Barty had made his choice. It was the wrong choice, yes, but it wasn’t Peter’s fault. That disgusted him to think about, but so did the majority of his thoughts these days.

Only one thought came to the forefront of his mind.

He never got to tell them.

They would never know.

I mostly kept away for the last few days because I felt like it was best I wasn’t around, and it’s not like anyone cares but because I apparently can’t keep my thoughts to myself:

I’m trying to be more present again, but I’m absolutely riven with anxiety about engaging in the slightest interaction with anyone, let alone making a post. (I’m still extremely unsure about posting any of my writing again, either. Not that anyone is particularly eager to read more.)

Anyway, if you’ve reblogged me or tagged me or messaged me please know I’m not ignoring, just hoping to overcome the feeling of being the weird kid who never fits in, everyone dislikes and would rather wasn’t constantly trying to hang out with them.

(Of course, this may be an accurate reflection of the situation in which case just let me know and I can continue to do whatever the fandom equivalent of sitting alone at lunchtime in the playground is.)

okay first of all the opening song is a banger, legit got me so excited for it in the first few minutes. the actors are great the story is great but there are a few things I don't understand

First, I don't get why they made such a big deal about Abby's legal guardian and the papers for child custody if they were just gonna sideline that idea and kill the aunt off later on?? like you could remove those scenes and it wouldn't really change anything. idk it just had me questioning throughout the movie but moving on

I expected it to be accurate to the FNAF game lore but I'm not really disappointed either, the movie had some good ideas that worked kinda well.

ALSO I LOVE HOW THE ANIMATRONICS MOVE IT'S ALMOST LIKE THEY'RE ACTUALLY ALIVE they give me so much serotonin when they're not murdering people

the spring lock scene was so underwhelming, I feel like they could've done a lot more to give it more of an impact like getting the actor to scream a bit or having the cupcake rip more of the suit off so we can see how horrible being springlocked would be

LASTLY THEY PLAYED THE FNAF 1 SONG !! I PREVIOUSLY ALREADY KNEW THEY WERE GONNA PLAY IT BC A FRIEND TOLD ME BUT IT HAD ME ROLLING AROUNF AND KICKING MY FEET I SANG THE WHOLE THING

omg omg omg and the cameos of big youtubers who've helped the game grow, MATPAT, I ALMOST DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS HIM BUT THEN I RECOGNISED THE VOICE AND THEN HE SAID THE FAMOUS THAT'S JUST A THEORY

AND AND AND CORYXKENSHIN DUDEEEE I LOVE CORY I WATCHED HIM REACT TO THE TRAILER AND GOT SO EXCITED, EVEN WATCHING THE MOVIE I LIKE IDUKGHKDHKFH AND DURING THE CREDITS THAT WAS FUNNY ASL

tldr; some parts are okay but overall I loved the movie a lot
