They still don't give up, dreaming that they too can achieve their goals.

At this time a fox told them: Do you want to live with me? The life of a bird is too ordinary. Life is more than singing.

They refused.

What they don't know is that the fox has a big cage ready for them. At night, the fox sneaked into the forest quietly. He found them resting on the tree, and the cage covered their bodies. Their singing has since disappeared into the woods.

Living in a fox cabin, they don't need to compete with other birds, there is enough food, gifts and beds, but they kind of miss the sky and the smell of rain. That's what they lost.

One day, they escaped from the fox's house and took to the sky while the fox was not looking. They flapped their wings and sang in the sky, attracting the attention of other birds - they were surprised to find that one of them had such a melodious song.

However, they no longer care about other people's evaluation - they left the forest where they lived, flew over towns, mountains, and fields, leaving sweet songs everywhere for everyone. "

After hearing this story, the fox cubs pouted, a little sullen. "mama, why is the fox in this story a bad guy?"

"That's just a coincidence. The little lion was the villain last time." You smiled and kissed their little foreheads. "Good night, my babies."

The next day, Tighnari returned to the forest from the seminar, and the fox cubs jumped into his arms, yelling "papa!". He hugged them and gave them presents - some new toys. Under study, they are already smarter than many children of the same age at this time.

"Papa, are foxes bad?? Does mama want to leave us?" one of the cubs asked. The cubs recount last night's story to Tighnari - though they don't quite understand parts of the story, they have a vague sense that you want to leave the forest.

"Oh, there's such a thing." Tighnari raised his eyebrows, and there was unknowingly meanness in his tone, but then disappeared, comforting the babies gently. "It's okay, mama is just telling you stories, and won't leave us."

For you it's another attitude - he's away for two days and you're signaling to the kids that you want to leave? Does this mean you already have a plan? unacceptable. Entering the house, Tighnari greets you and casually asks what story you told the babies last night. He notices you avoiding his gaze - "You really don't have anything to confess to me?"

"Wait, my- my story doesn't mean that!" You panicked in denial.

Tighnari does not accept excuses of any kind - punishment is a necessary part of your education since you are so stubborn, chasing your unrealistic dreams.

Throughout all my life I’ve always been interested in nonhuman creatures. When I was young and my autism was in its rawest form I would often pit the ancient ancestors of animals against their modern equivalent, either in comparison or in battle(I remember doing a Rhino versus Triceratops once). As I grew older, and the internet allowed me to learn of the creatures of horror movies without being horrified, my attention shifted to that of the alien. I loved learning about the Xenomorphs and Predators, or the aliens from A Quiet Place. Recently, however, a new alien species has taken my interest, though not from horror film, but kinky horror fanfiction. I am of course, talking about the Affini from the Human Domestication Guide, created by GlitchyRobo.

The Affini of HDG are such an interesting species. Despite their peace-desiring nature we have to assume they were the top of the food chain wherever they came from. The strength to do what they do is built into their very biology. Super strength, ability to run absurd speeds, even the regeneration—their origins, whatever they are, were NOT peaceful, guaranteed. Not to mention the biological drugs that exist within them that can be used through either their flowers or needles hidden within their vines that can pierce human skin almost unnoticed. Another noteworthy trait is their ability to mimic or exist as different species of plants, like a fern Affini or a rose Affini. This level of adaptation mixed with the usage of drugs suggests that their origins could have been as prey, which would match with our known plants, unable to move from predators and thus evolving traits to deter them. The strength and speed, however, are things I’m not smart enough to explain away. Once they gained them, however—combined with their adaptation and ability to deceive using drugs, they would’ve been near unstoppable, similar to how ancient humans hunted megafauna and old predators such as the Sabertooth to extinction thanks to our newly evolved adaptive nature.

Their personality is curious, however—for a species in Post-Scarcity, I can understand the want and desire to help other aliens, including humans. But the specific pet dynamic they desire seemingly clashes with their message of helping sophonts(universal term for a non-Affini) be the best they can be. It almost seems instinctual, similar to humans and their pack-bonding ability. They desire other species to be at their peak, but refute certain things that don’t align with their idea, such as humans free will to make bad decisions at the cost of others and/or themselves. While modern human morals would agree with not wanting bad things to happen, the moderate to great usage of drugs the Affini are known for is less than acceptable.

The unfortunate fact is, any and all speculation about the Affini’s origins or why they do what they do is unknown. Given their extremely advanced technology and knowledge, it could be difficult to even know if they were a plant based species in the first place, or if becoming immortal through reblooming as vine creatures was a scientific advancement or not.

Granted, I’m analyzing a species from a hypno kink universe, and I shouldn’t expect crazy world building, but it’s just so much fun!

Edit: @arkkaxe has included a link to a site detailing the Affini in the replies, and it has been very helpful!

It appears that the low gravity environment the Affini hail from caused the evolution of prehensile limbs, and the xenodrugs might be related to their pollen from earlier days of reproduction using “beeple.” Speaking of that subject, their use of beeple lead to the cultural urge of master/pet dynamics, which slightly confirms my original belief that the desire felt more instinctual than purposeful.

I’m glad to be so pleasantly surprised at all the lore of this world! I take back what I said about the world building, there’s obviously enough to get its own website!

Would most of the time be the big spoon. Times when you'd be the big spoon is when he passes out before you even get to the bed.

He will always be the big spoon unless you want to be or when he's in a pouty/grumpy mood and you have to cheer him up.

He sometimes sings you songs. Other times he tells you his favorite stories that he's got memorized.

Talks about his day and asks about yours. It would often start with him ranting about something, but would always end in fluff and him purring.

One arm wraps around you and the other rests on your waist or hip is his favorite default cuddle position.

ASMODEUS

Weirdly likes to hug certain portions of your body at different times.

Sometimes likes to hug mainly your arm, sometimes your leg, other times your head. Something like a koala bear.

Loves to play with your hair, style it, comb it with his fingers, tuck it behind your ears/mess it up.

Rubs his cheeks on you.

Pets you a lot.

Says your name while he sleeps with a happy expression.

BEELZEBUB

When you cuddle, he always makes it a point to hold your hand — to intertwine your fingers together.

He wants you over him most of the time just so he's sure that he wouldn't squish you.

You cuddle facing each other and his hands are behind your back, securing you completely.

Lot to say about Encanto

If you’re not new to this blog, you may know I often accompany my artworks on Encanto by lengthy ramblings. Some of these are bits of my personal headcanon and context to my pictures and comics set in universe of movie, and some are either speculations or attempts in analyze of events depicted in movie, sometimes backed by info from production process and director Bush’s responses to fan questions (these latter I prefer to take with grain of salt and not as hard facts, in all fairness, though they occasionally give some food for thought). There is number of such attempts in analyzing and reading between the lines, that I didn’t have opportunity to discuss previously, so I decided to put them in one (or series of) post(s) on its own.

Long read below, approach at your own risk, and my apologies for grammatical mistakes:

The reason Bruno is feared by villagers:

Something I thought about because of annotation to upcoming official novel, which is claiming to give a reason for agreement to “not talk about Bruno”, and if there is a need for it outside of what is revealed. In the song, people have petty complains all coming down to Bruno having habit of rubbing mundane things perceived as negative in their faces, which made the “bad” future set in stone, in their opinion. Which, of course, creates unfair picture of Bruno’s abilities being unreasonably demonized, and because we are set to sympathize with his and Mirabel’s point of view, it’s too easy to see the villagers malicious at worst, ignorant at best. And for Bruno himself to genuinely believe his gift is truly harmful, it’s not enough a convincing reason? But in context of bigger picture, their fears seem, possibly, less childish if we remember most of villagers are of triplets’ age or slightly older, ones we have seen voicing their opinion on Bruno, at least. They are born and/or raised in hermetic paradise, knowing about the dangers of outside world at best from the seniors and having vague idea of it, in all fairness. They never have to fight for their lives, always supplied with food and good natural condition, all their illnesses are cured, and, given not so big timeframe since the village was set, it’s possible there weren’t a lot of cases of natural death in their wake. As a result, they’re living in unperturbed bliss and don’t need to even worry about future. Hence, once they are compelled to face it, they are getting scared of concept of changes itself, especially if it’s not ones that improve welfare, but ones that involve irreparable loss – of their youth, great shape, and simply death. But again, because natural death is not frequent case, and untimely death is prevented by elimination of illnesses, animal death is, probably, only evidence they encounter on regular basis. (I speculated, based on signs of Señora Pezmuerte’s age, she’s much younger than triplets and could have received “prophecy” in her childhood – asking a prophet about condition of one’s pet is something more suitable for a kid, after all, so it just could’ve been her first encounter with death, leaving life-long impression on her, as childhood traumas, small or not, tend to.) They are somehow like these people on AXIOM in “Wall-E”, except not so easily willful to engage in major life changes (hey, remember Bruno’s lair includes reference to Wall-E, a plant planted in a boot? Like Wall-E, Bruno is someone who pushes people toward their ultimate fate, but also, he’s one who lived before them and embodies connection to roots – ability to plant seeds for new life circle.). Notice how none of “bad” predictions are even objectively “bad” – they’re all just natural occurrences, including passing of living being, just reminders of course of time. Or they are setting the stage for events that stay untold, presumably because further events depend on decisions of recipient, like in Dolores’s case. Thus, Bruno’s predictions come in two variants: either natural conclusions having precisely nothing with anyone’s will, or set-up of event which is inevitable, but its conclusion is entirely in hands of person that receives prediction since the moment they get knowledge of it. (Is Mirabel the first one who figured it, just as of possibility of asking for hypothetical future based on certain decision, instead of one solid set in stone possibility?)

The problem is, people not even seeing difference between two kinds, for them it’s all the same destiny thrust upon them, which they simply gladly accept when it’s desirable, or bemoan when it’s not. What seemed to be an issue with Bruno’s gift (and canonically with a miracle itself), is everybody taking it for granted, instead of thinking about what are the reasons and consequences of prophecies. Even with seemingly positive ones, there’s Isabela who had “life of her dreams” inevitably coming true, but accepted it as the making of fate, barely knew what she could’ve dreaming about, just waiting for vague happiness coming her way as long as she follows her assigned role, and only feeling increasingly uneasy with it. She wasn’t really forced into her role, nor into marriage, she just never questioned if she’s cut for it, or voiced any objections. Too apparent, everybody has contributed to their collective misery by depending on the miracle as convenient force to solve everything in advance, without working for their destined goals, while it should be clear that events of future based on actions can only come to fruition if it’s set by decisions made in present. And also realize that “constellations shift” and one must deal with changes and losses in their life to move forward, because eternal satisfaction is unnatural even by means of magic, otherwise it’s either complete decay or renewal.

Twofold prophecy:

On the matter of Bruno’s unique prophecy about Mirabel with two alternate paths on display. General conclusion seems to be that there was never unresolved fate: it just shows two stages of the same event. Mirabel contributes in destruction of miracle, and then she repairs it. But it never confirmed directly, and it only stated by Bruno as a case of uncertain future (it doesn’t refer to any cases he could receive visions like that, and how it was resolved), so it’s safe to assume there really was two ways for events to go, and it settled on “bad” one, as Bruno feared. Why such an honor for Mirabel alone to get a “multiple choice” of prophecy? Closest to “canonical” explanation is, probably, because Mirabel is a “chosen one”, the game-changer, to whom providence is not a law, because she decided everybody’s and her own destiny, and because she’s initiative one, who doesn’t depend on miracle to guide her. Thus, she’s not “predictable” for Bruno’s powers, it makes them glitch, or working like it should’ve been for anyone, if they weren’t putting all their trust into prophecies. She just figured how to utilize Bruno’s gift right way, as it was designed. Seems accurate.

However, I, too, have alternate version of explanation. And it all comes down to Bruno himself. He, apparently, whole his life has been answering requests of others, using his gift solely to serve the community, by the teaching of Alma. And based on requests revealed in the movie, for the most part it was about personal cases of various people, including his relatives, none of which seemingly would be an interest of his, nor affecting him in any way (no matter ambiguous nature of some of it, as it’s not clear which of them are prophecies, observations, or wishing). We don’t know if he’s even been using his gift for personal gain in any point, and considering strict rules in regard of gifts, he probably didn’t. Until at one point, potential danger for entire family raised its head, and even then, he summoned vision by demand of Alma (if you take in account visual storytelling, in his memory he looks genuinely concerned along with Alma). We know he is indisputably willing to give everything away for sake of his family, so it’s no doubt he was deeply interested in answer this time, and was ready to take any action needed to protect the family. Thus, first time in his life, outcome of prophecy depended on his actions, too, and on the act of gaining knowledge of future that, by itself, sets events of said future (classic scenario, look no further than myth of Oedipus). The gist of prophecy is, fate of miracle in Mirabel’s hands somehow, but what that fate is, unclear, and uncertainty is alarming by itself. Which affects Bruno’s inherent propensity for taking desperate measures in case any of his kin is in apparent serious danger. Bruno immediately firmly decides to hide the prophecy lest it affects Mirabel’s life in the same way his gift affected his, and one of scenarios depicted in prophecy is a direct result of his actions without him realizing it. Including second prophecy, act of conjuring which is also a result of his decision, now when he’s resigned from professional duty of using his gift, he’s got the choice whether resort to it or refuse to. And he chose to act (with little pressure, but still, at least he’s got no excuse to not do it, and was interested in positive outcome). Ultimately, there would be no use for Bruno to using visions for any internal motives, as it will always “corrupted” by him unable to stay apathetic. He has no choice but being master of his own future and do everything in his power to help his loved ones, even in lieu of professional ethics of seer.

So, to summarize all of it, the prophecy about Mirabel wasn’t “set in stone” because its completion depended on Bruno’s own ultimate decision.

Dynamics of Bruno and his two sisters:

Among of many things left to speculation and imagination in the movie is exact dynamics of Madrigal family before the events of movie, going as far as back in times when there were only four of them. We see something as characters reminisce of past (mainly Pepa’s biased memory of her wedding day and Alma reexamining her past), but even these snippets are colored by feelings of characters. As sad as can look Bruno striving for recognition by his mother in “Dos Oruguitas” segment, it’s important to take in account it’s how she, ridden with guilt at the moment, sees the situation. Likewise, Bruno set to mischief is something conjured by Pepa’s disdain for him (and we, again, given no clue what informs such perception, so I let it aside), so she’s an unreliable narrator once again. All we got to work with is various interactions in present. One obvious thing is, no one holds any grudge for Bruno, either because they come to realization, he had best intentions all that time, or because no one really was mad at him and merely discouraged by his sudden withdrawal and struggled to wrap their heads around it.

There are some interesting clues in regard of Bruno’s personal relationships, as distant as he seems to act to relatives as whole. First, concept arts that display the cast more of less established (just with some traits not yet switched around, mainly the gifts, their connection to personalities, and color schemes) put each branch of family together, with Mirabel and Alma (current and future head) in center, and Bruno’s placement is always deliberately slightly apart yet by the side of Julieta’s branch. It just appears to me that his core personality renders him to feel more comfortable beside of, similarly sentimental and gentle, Julieta and her family, each member of which seems to possess somehow introverted personality (they all tend to can their feelings, act more collected than inner turmoil allows them), as opposite to Pepa’s family, who, save Antonio, are more exuberant and generally tend to wear their feelings on their sleeves.

Even then, if glimpse of Pepa-Bruno dynamics gives some food for speculating, Bruno’s exact disposition is to his other sister is kind of elusive. We see his notable fondness to Mira, can have assumptions it’s partially fueled by her bearing similarity to Julieta, and also see Julieta’s equal (and seemingly connected) affection to Bruno and Mira, but that’s where it ends with no further clues. One other moment of interaction signifying something is, during his attempt in grand apology, after acting all cheerful and brisk around Pepa, Bruno seems to become strained and frustrated around Julieta and even looks slightly uncomfortable in response to her giving him a hug. His distress over an embrace by sister is much more obvious compared to reaction to Alma’s embrace earlier, startled but otherwise pretty stoic. It’s somewhere stated, in director’s Q&A session I believe, that Julieta had to take motherly position toward her siblings early on, back in her childhood, in order to share the burden of her single mother. May it be, while Alma grew all more detached and started feel more like authority rather than loving mother to her children, in their minds Julieta become more feasible mother figure they directed their sentiments to. Thus, Bruno feeling particularly crushed by letting her down in particular back then when he decided to hide her daughter’s destiny from her, and possibly expecting her to chastise him for that.

What is more curious is, the difference between reaction of two sisters to Bruno finally revealing himself. Notice how Julieta displays deep shock for longer than Pepa, whose surprised expression is immediately replaced by loving and relieved smile, holding her hand over chest as if she just got huge weight taken off her, despite her previously fuming in anger over memories of him (verdict: Pepa the tsundere!). She doesn’t even seem surprised too much; her expression rather says “I always knew he never could leave us” as if she takes revelation as something long expected. (There is, of course, off-screen possibility that she received notice from Dolores at some point and took it planted some hope into her heart, but as far as official confirmation goes, she stayed silent on the subject all the time.)

One conclusion I can come to: reactions of the sisters seem to indicate how each of them is receptive to particular side of their brother. Julieta, called “the most empathetic member of family” by director Bush, responds to Bruno’s vulnerability, and probably is more open to realization he’s not infallible and would prioritize his own wellbeing, or, alternatively, that he would sacrifice his bond with family (after she learned true meaning of his withdrawal) to not tarnish anyone else along with himself, but Pepa knows better that, along with sensitivity, he possesses persistence and resilience, and also can be quite scheming if he’s inclined, while with well-meaning intent (so, possibly, his disappearance is all part of some contrived plan to save the family after all). It’s also directly reflected in the ways Bruno approaches each woman, which could mean he’s feeling free to express opposite parts of himself with each of sisters. (And maybe, in his opinion, Pepa is unable to take apology or any serious talk unless it’s rendered in form of dance and song!)

I’ve started to sketch a mini-comic on the subject some time ago, which still may see light somewhere down the line…

Hidden depths of Julieta:

Last thing I want to discuss for now is, Julieta the dark horse of the cast. It’s known that some of characters had sufficient part of their role cut down for the purposes of more tight narrative, but Julieta appears to suffer the most from it (well, Alma to some degree seems to take damage too, as some unused material deals more with her situation and showcases her own admirable qualities to justify her role as charismatic leader). In the end, she’s just well-meaning ordinary mother who loves her children, but struggles to give them proper support. (Then again, who else struggles to properly express his care for the family?) It’s implied, I think, that triplets have certain shared qualities, so you can say by actions and expressions of one of them, other two are having similar mindset without pointing at their similarities, instead focusing on distinctive traits of them. But there is something interesting in storyline that was abandoned early in development, before the final version of story and characters was established, probably, yet one that fits surprisingly well into narrative of movie and enriches understanding of its characters and their bonds.

I just assume the big secret of Julieta was replaced by Bruno’s big secret in final draft, probably along the same point when he became mysterious estranged uncle instead of Mirabel’s young cousin, so none of it can be applied to the story we got, except it could shed some additional light on the early dialog between mother and daughter, where Julieta openly tries to talk Mirabel off investigating strange occurrences lest she ends like her brother (interestingly, she cites Bruno not as Mira’s uncle, but as her brother, indicating she takes his fall deeply personally), losing her way with family. Makes it all the more poignant if she desperately tries to hide from Mirabel her own fault in both Mirabel’s condition and Bruno’s indefinite, but tragic fate. Seeing suffering of Bruno over the years, she made decision to prevent another person from the same treatment, but in the end, the sabotage backfired causing harm for both Mirabel and Bruno. And with Julieta’s effort going awry, Bruno getting vanished very next day and Mira’s fate unresolved, the silent guilt and grief she felt must’ve been tremendous all these years, rivaling that of Bruno’s own guilt. Isn’t that a bitter and poetic irony that both siblings, unknowingly for each other, went for desperate measures out of love to each other and that child (who probably reminded each of them of other sibling, as shared traits between the three are noted in the movie), and caused troubles out of good intentions and mutual protectiveness?

Mkay, i think i need to make this clear, but i am very against militant veganism here. Also eco terrorism, and people who cal hunting and raising food animals 'murder'.

Wool is the best fiber, and sherp will literally DIE if they don't get their hair cuts often enough.

Angora rabbits are NOT killed for their wool, they are gently brushed.

Neither animal is treated poorly, generally speaking, because poorly treated animals lead to poor quality wool.

Bees are not killed for their honey. Bees are infact fully unionized and can and will LEAVE if they don't like the conditions they are living under.

Many vegan sweeteners are actually VERY bad for the environment, like Agave. And Stevia tastes like old rubber to many people, myself included.

YES the modern meat industry is terrible. Thats because of capitalism though, not because it exists at all.

Humans are omnivores, and it is impossible for many people (including myself) to ever be able to switch to a vegan diet.

Humanity switching to all plant based protein is, at the current stage, completely and totally impossible. I fully doubt this will EVER happen.

Also the 'plans' some vegans have for converting predatory animals to a vegan diet are all delusional, cruelty, and complete fantasy.

PETA are monsters, that kill people's pets. They have done this, there is proof. They're terrible, and liars, please don't give them your money.

500 Followers Celebration: Q & A

Happy Saturday everyone! As I promised earlier this week, here is a Q&A. Some of the questions were a bit more serious than I remember, but it starts ridiculous and ends ridiculous.

What are the character's thoughts on socks?:

Lukyan: “I mean they make my boots much more comfortable, but they are way too fickle. They never shrink or discolor exactly the same way after you wash or wear them, and they always seem to go missing. All in all, more effort than they’re worth, and I often walk around the palace without them.”

Tzesar: “Have you ever been to the northern part of the Empire? It's way too cold to even think about not having fuzzy socks on you at all times. No matter how much my brother likes to make fun of me. I can assure you everyone is hiding at least two pairs of socks under their boots..”

Sentinel: “Am I really supposed to have an opinion about something so nonsensical?”

Naxok: *wrinkles his nose* “I actually don’t wear them. I spend too much time in the water, so they usually just end up soaked and wet plus freezing cold is terrible for you no matter how many layers of wet there are. Besides, I enjoy leaving my bare feet in water far too much to appreciate them.”

Albien: “Socks are an important part of keeping warm. I just wish they wouldn’t go missing so easily.”

Gaderous: “What a funny question. I suppose like most people I appreciate them keeping me warm, and get annoyed when they slip off my feet or get holes in them. Although, I will say that sock puppets freak me out a little.”

What would they say are the worst food crimes imaginable, both modern and setting accurate?:

Lukya: His are actually the same for both- eating raw meat or fish. Just if it had to be hunted it needs to be cooked.

Tzesar: Setting accurate- cooking vegetables in stew. Vegetables are best appreciated as God intended, fresh and void of spice or sauce.

Modern- Salad dressing, and serving ranch on a veggie tray

Sentinel: Setting accurate- using any ingredient in food that has alternate uses in magic spells/rituals/potions (most of these can’t be eaten, but the few that can have lingering magic in them that Sentinel swears he can taste.)

Modern- Lattes (or any coffee fancier/further from basic black than that)

Naxok: Setting accurate- Sea monster is delicacy in some parts of the world… A fact that Nax likes to pretend does not exist because it makes him think of his precious pet Nellie.)

Modern-The concept of deep frying

Albien: Setting accurate- Its popular among House Phoenix (his mother’s family) to light food on fire before eating it, but the flame changes color based on the types of protein in the food, and makes everything smell and (to Albien) taste like smoke

Modern- There are too many to count, but the simplest way to cover everything is processed junk food that kids like (He’s basically like a health food parent when it comes to modern food)

Gaderous: Setting accurate- It’s really popular where he grew up is to take roasted hazelnuts and wrap them in a plant called Garensweed, which takes the shape of a leaf with the texture of cooked spinach, covered in a berry flavored jam. Then they smoke it over a fire. His dad commits the atrocity of putting pickles inside his, and dipping it in a cinnamon caramel sauce. Gaderous has been so traumatized by his dad’s version, that he always checks for pickles when he buys one from a bakery.

Modern- I think he’d be open to trying pretty much anything in a modern setting, and would really only label something a food crime if it's so wrong it would make someone sick, or just can’t conceivably go together.

How would they act in a hypothetical game of Catan?

Naxok and Lukyan would be treating it like its risk and over analyzing the best military strategy, despite the fact that you don’t actually have a military in Catan. They also both stubbornly refuse to trade with each other until they realize that one has no wheat and the other has no bricks, so they really should, but won’t until all other options have been exhausted. Sentinel is playing up both sides, and while trying to hide his competitive streak. The only thing he hates more than sharing, is losing, and it shows. Not only will he win, he will crush everyone. (And if he thought they’d give him an edge, would have no qualms about using his powers to win.) On the other hand, Tzesar is naturally the best at it, but he spends most of his time trying to get the two achievements, longest road, and largest army. Most of the guys assume that he’s not paying too much attention to the building aspect, and leave him be. He wins pretty quickly and everyone else is dumb founded, and Sentinel is pissed. Meanwhile, Albien is just really chill, and smiling even though he’s in last place and like Tzesar, is not really trying. He’s kind of like a dad who got sweet-talked into playing with the kids, and is letting them win because watching them get so invested in the game is more fun than winning. His intentionally bad trades are also the reason that Tzesar won so easily. Meanwhile Gaderous is making up rules to confuse people and spends most of his time making development cards, and convincing players to make weird trades with him. He’s not actually trying to win, he just wants to make Sentinel lose because he thinks it's funny to annoy the elf.

How would the guys react, after being in a relationship with the MC to being asked the question: Would you still love me if I was a worm?

Lukyan: Lukyan would be very confused by the question, and would stand there silently for long enough that the MC probably thinks he’s not going to answer her until he finally says, “I would still love *you*, but since worms don’t have consciousness, you wouldn’t be *you* if you were a worm.”

Tzesar: Depending on what he was doing when asked, he might stop listening after “would you still love me…” and just answer yes while finishing whatever he was doing. If the MC had his full attention he’d be academically intrigued by how it would work, but would try to avoid showing that and answer the question seriously with “If you had gotten turned into a worm then yes, I would, and I would stop at nothing to get you back. If you were born a worm then sadly probably not because we never would have met.”

Sentinel: If he had a more teasing/bickering relationship with the MC then he’d be like “Who says I love you now?” with a single eyebrow raised. If pressed he’d give her the same answer he’d give a more gentle/sensitive MC which is, “The only thing that could turn you into a worm is witchcraft, so I could undo it with a snap of the fingers, making the whole conversation moot.”

Naxok: The man lives on a boat (excuse me, ship) which is not the safest place for a worm, so he would just shrug, and tell her it wouldn’t really matter. “Nellie would probably eat you regardless, so I might be sad that you were gone, but there’d be nothing for it.”

Albien: He would take it as a frivolous way of demonstrating a real fear, and instead of answering the question would pull her into a hug (if standing) or into his lap (if he was sitting), and ask her if there was a reason she was afraid of being unloved. If it really was just a joke he would be unimpressed.

Gaderous: He laughs and turns the tables. “Would you still love me if I was a worm?”

How would they react to a surprise party?"

Luk: Does not like surprises in nearly any context, and has no friends, so a surprise party is basically his worst nightmare because he has no control over the situation and is surrounded by a bunch of people he probably doesn't like. He would probably be uncomfortable the whole time, and depending on who threw the surprise party might assume someone is trying to kill him. He probably only stays if there’s food, and leave as soon as he can.

Tzesar: Would handle it a lot better than Luk. He’d say hi to everyone invited, thank whoever threw the party, eat, and mingle with all the guests. If there’s courtiers invited then he’s a little thrown off because he likes to prepare before interacting with them. If the party is only with his friends, he just relaxes and enjoys the festivities.

Sentinel: Has somehow found out about the party and just doesn’t ever show up. Is then not seen for a week.

Naxok: Is overjoyed, completely invested in the party and gives a bear hug to everyone involved.

Albien: Takes a moment to register what’s going on, but ultimately enjoys it, though much less enthusiastically than Nax.

Gaderous: He’s extremely touched. He’s always wanted someone to throw him a surprise party, but has never told anyone because he thought it wouldn’t mean as much if he told someone he want a surprise party and they did versus coming to that conclusion themselves.

How would they react to an unexpected kiss from MC?:

Lukyan: Still does not like surprises and goes stiff as a statue. If MC is sad/disappointed/worried/nervous/trying to apologize/ect. because he didn’t kiss back, then he’ll try to explain and do a really bad job of it, before realizing he’s only making it worse, grunting, turning around taking exactly three steps before it occurs to him that walking away would be even worse, turning back around to kiss her himself. If MC is amused/smug/flirty because she caught him off-guard then he’d just raise an eyebrow and be like I hope you're pleased with yourself, and walk away.

Tzesar: Blinks a couple times before trying to return to whatever he was doing before only he seems to have forgotten, then asks MC what he was just doing. Does the same thing to her a couple days later.

Sentinel: Intentionally keeps his face as void of emotion as possible until MC moves away, then he just picks her up. Then he whispers in a low voice “You forgot two very important things, never start anything you can’t finish, and remember I always win.” while he carries her somewhere where A there’s privacy and B he’s got enough space to lay her flat on her back, where… tickles ensue (I bet that’s not where you thought this was going did you.)

Nax: Can’t stop himself from grinning. Somewhere between “what was that for?” and “I know this means you want something, but I’m too happy to care.” If there is in fact an ulterior motive, he gives MC a kiss on the head before doing what she wants, if there is nothing, then he pulls her into a hug, after kissing her head instead.

Albien: Laughs a little bit. “I’m not sure I deserved that, but I’m pleased you thought so.”

Gaderous: Probably makes a stupid joke about how MC has fallen into his trap or if she’s not careful, then he’ll never leave. Then he’d give her another kiss after.

How would they react to MC having a pat duck?:

(This one I saw on another Tumblr blog, and sent a screenshot to my friends because I thought it was funny. Since it was around the time we were doing this Q&A I decided to answer it myself because it was cute and funny.)

Lukyan: Would be confused about why she wanted a duck, and concerned about keeping it alive during the Nythrian winter, but ultimately put up with it because his family has spent way more money on way weirder things. He wouldn’t pet it though, and would draw the line at allowing it in bed with them. (He also has a pet polar bear, so no right to judge weird pets.)

Tzesar: Thinks it's cute, but will not touch it, and makes sure it stays outside.

Sentinel: *face palms* “I can’t believe this is what my life has come to.” to MC, “You care about this thing? I guess we have a pet duck now.”

Nax: Feels he has no right to judge given his pet, but is nervous about allowing the duck near Nellie, fearing she’ll eat it. Jokes on him because Duck and Nellie are great friends.

Albien: Is wary of having it in the house, but he’s got a nice lake in the garden it can share with the swans and MC can visit whenever she wants.

Gaderous: He thinks it's cute, and thinks MC holding it is cute. Is more than willing to have it as a full member of the family.

How would each character react to The Last Stand by Sabaton blaring at full volume in the middle of the night?

Ignoring for a moment that the instruments required to play those songs don't exist in world and pretending it would be a recognizable song for them,

Lukyan: This is me asking, but please don’t. Any time the man is woken up by a loud noise, he immediately assumes its because he’s under attack, so he would jump out of bed, grab his sword, forgoing armor, and run straight to where the MC is, if she’s living in the palace at this point or they’re on the road somewhere. If MC is nowhere near then he’s going straight to his younger sisters. Once he found out it was just a song he would be incredibly relieved, but unable to go back to sleep after.

Tzesar: Would sleep through it unless he was already awake at which point everyone else grumpily waking up to it would make him realize how late it was, and he’d go to sleep as soon as the commotion was over.

Sentinel: Sentinel does not sleep often, so he’d likely still be awake. If it was a rare moment when he was sleeping, he’d be pissed, and just leave identifying the culprit. He might also assume the music was coming from his dragon companion trying to annoy him instead of being real music.

Naxok: In all honesty, Nax is likely the one who is blasting Sabaton in the middle of the night. He also typically stays up late, and would likely be awake at whatever time someone plays said song. If it was a rare occasion he happened to be asleep, he would be extremely irritated, but otherwise he’d be jamming also and singing all the words.

Albien: In true vein of being the only normal member of the cast, Albien would just groan, and pull a pillow over his head to go back to sleep.

Gaderous: Is used to being woken up in the middle of night for emergencies, but would be annoyed that there is not emergency. Also is not a metal fan, and wouldn’t enjoy anyone blaring the song during the day.

In a modern AU who would be offended that Pluto isn’t a planet anymore?

I don’t know why, but I feel like Sentinel would. He’s not someone who would bring it up, but if directly asked, he would defend Pluto’s right to be a planet.

Tzesar would stick with a scientific definition and not think beyond that. Nax would only care about astronomy as it pertains to sailing, and none of the others would care one way or another. Although if it was super important to someone he cared about Albien would champion the cause with them.

Would they lie to get someone else out of trouble?

Yes: Lukyan, Sentinel, Gaderous, Naxok

No: Tzesar, Albien

How easily could they be convinced to do something that goes against their morals?

Luk: Short answer is hard. The longer answer is very hard, especially as he gets older. Young Luk doesn't really have a distinction between personal morality and his father's rules, but the more disillusioned he becomes with Emperor Konstantin the stronger moral stances he takes and the harder he walks the line. This is something MC can actually notice about the difference between 23-year-old Lukyan and 13-year-old Luk.

Tzesar:Most of the time he does what he thinks is right, and is very strong willed, however, if you can present an intelligent argument about why his moral stance is wrong, it'll be fairly easier to change his mind about what is moral, so while it'll be hard to persuade him to act against his morals per say, you could easily convince him to change them.

Sentinel: Not a chance. The man has lived a long time and is very set in his ways.

Nax: Rarely has an issue sticking to his morals. He spends a lot of time with people his culture would consider to be living immoral lifestyles, yet he finds them to be good people, so he questions sometimes. He's more likely to allow others to do things that go against his morals without addressing it than to actually do something that goes against his morals. If actually was convinced to go against his morals it would likely be related to someone on his crew.

Albien: Being a king has taught him a lot about the importance of having a backbone, especially where morality is concerned. While many kings routinely live amoral lives, Albien has spent a lot of time studying how this behavior impacts people living in the country, and has decided not to be like that. He’s also had some problems impulsively acting on his anger before, and the consequences of that made me a lot sterner about sticking to his morals, even when he’s angry.

Gaderous: He can very easily be persuaded to act against his morals, and very often does.

Would any of them perform a “Surprise adoption”?

I thought about taking this one out because the entire question is a reference to my unfinished, unpublic fantasy novel Treason Reassigned where the main character a younger woman who is the apprentice spymaster complains to her male best friend that her mother is pressuring her to quit, so she can get married. He says his mother is pressuring the same and jokingly suggests they get married to get their mothers to leave them alone since neither of them are interested in marriage (at the time of this particular scene.) Then they talk about their plan for what to do when their mothers pressure them to have children, and one of them suggests kidnapping an orphan. (the “surprise adoption” in the question). I’ll leave it in because it’s kind of a funny question.

Lukyan: Well, kidnapping an orphan is basically what Emperor Konstantin did to MC (depending on how you look at it) so he'd probably be confused why MC wants to kidnap an orphan. He would be very cool about adoption in general, but would be adamantly opposed to the kidnapping aspect because he often felt like he never had a choice in a lot of his life, and would never do that to a child.

Tzesar: He doesn't really understand the point. Why would you grab a random kid off the street instead of following the legal procedure. It's not that complicated and he has the money and political power to adopt legally and quickly.

Sentinel: His situation would more likely be, he attracted the attention of this kid, who followed him into a potentially dangerous situation that he now feels responsible for until the child is basically his. Or the kid just always wants to talk to him whenever he's in town until he develops an attachment.

Naxok and Albien: I put these two together because their culture has a unique situation as it applies to orphans, and I don’t think it would actually be possible for either of them to “kidnap” an orphan unless they took one from outside their own country, and I don’t see either of them doing that.

Gaderous: He’s be down, but not in an active kidnapping situation, more like I’m going to ignore proper legal procedure because this child needs a home and I can provide it kinda thing.

How would they view time travel?

See this is such an interesting question because Tempurion actually can time travel, and give the person he’s bonded to that power. It won't come up in game, but it is actually possible.

Lukyan: Luk would be very wary of it, and it kind of freaks him out a little.

Tzesar: would think it's the coolest thing in the world, and keep very detailed notes about how it would work.

Sentinel: Sentinel has seen a lot of harm caused by people trying to make-up for their bad decisions, so he would be alarmed by what people might do with time travel.

Naxok: Nax lives so much in the moment, I'm not sure he'd care too much unless it was directly impacting him, and then he'd mostly be confused.

Albien: He'd be interested in the history he could experience, but not really interested in seeing the future.

Gaderous: Gat... would actually enjoy it if it was more the adventuring type of time travel, but he wouldn't want to see his own future... or past.

Now, for my own safety because people don't know how to simply scroll past salt. I'm gonna say it now if you like Dragons The Nine Realms Scroll Away now. This is a rewrite of the series because of its wasted potential and god-fucking awful ending.

Now that the Nine Realms is over, I can talk about a rewrite my brain has been brewing up since the show began.

Now, there are two ways a rewrite can go after I witnessed the finale.

A series of episodes that showcase dragons being found again and again by humanity, and in the end humanity always deciding to leave the dragons alone once again. Because after that ending, my brain immediately thought of it happening before, of humans and dragons always meeting and bonding again and again and again, only for humanity as a whole to prove unkind that the humans who care for the dragons have to hide them once more

A general rewrite of the series. I'm bias to an OC I crafted when the series started, but to keep things simple I'm going to be using the same characters and just tweaking their stories to better fit the whole idea the series was trying to get to

The cast is first aged up to be around young collage age, and they're at the Icarus base as part of an internship as per their varying majors. This would explain Alex's skills with tech and hacking and shut because she's majoring in it.

Tom's studies would be more general sciences, with a focus on ecology. It's only a coincidental plus that he's working with his mom since she's a geologist. Tom's here to study how the opening of the fissure has affected the environment around it as whole

Jun's studies are history based, with a focus on archology. As the fissure is around a historic site that she was already interning at. Jun is also a bit of linguist due to needing to translate the old texts they find on digs. The fissure opened up more potential dig sites in the shockwaves after it first opened

Alex is a cyber security major currently at the site as an intern to help manage the base as she also has varying tech classes and certifications under her belt

D'Angelo is a biology major, with plans to eventually become a veterinarian. He's there to study the flora and fauna within the fissure and how the opening of the fissure has affected the plants outside of it

Eugene is currently on a gap "year" and has been simply working during it. But a company he's working for offered him position to basically be in charge of Icarus' food supplies and the like as, due to the uniquely somewhat confidential nature of the project, it would be easier to have someone who already knows the people within the project and thus someone trustworthy to the people within the project, to handle their supplies

The kids are mainly here to help the people they're interning under analyze information the proper project team acquires to do more menial tasks for them. Except Eugene who's main job is to basically ensure stock of mainly food supplies but also other things the team might need

Tom isn't related to Hiccup, he's actually related to the Twins for pure Comedy

Jun is still incredibly fond of myths and folktales, its the reason she's a history major because those tales are a window of how society was at the time (if that makes sense)

Eugene and Jun are still siblings, and their parents are still divorced, but Eugene was left in their mother's primary custody and Jun was left with their father. Eugene was coddled too much by their mother, which left him indecisive over his path in life

D'Angelo's desire to become a vet is because of a pet his dad got him before he would've had to leave for another military assignment. That animal was his best friend, and it died due to an illness that they didn't catch because his dad just got home after months of being gone. Out of grief he could never bond with an animal like that again. Out of a bit of guilt, he's aiming to become a veterinarian

There's a biome of shadows and storms where dragons like the Skrill, Night Terrors, and Night Furys live and thrive within

(Yes, Night Furys. I always thought it would be amazing if Toothless wasn't truly the last of his kind but rather the last of his kind to join them in the Hidden World)

Animals from ages past live and thrive in the Hidden World alongside the dragons. Mammoths, Dodo Birds, Saber Tooth Tigers, Giant Sloths, Eurasian Aurochs, and so many more. The environment of the hidden world is borderline fantasy in how it operates and thrives despite the lack of sunlight

There are eight realms within the hidden world, as the nineth would be where the Icarus base is. Each realm is unfathomably vast with so much nature and creatures living within it. What makes the Fissure so special is that its basically Yggdrasil in that its the point where all of the realms connect

Dragoncite, as a rock, has no use to dragons. At least to dragons in the modern day. When dragons first went completely underground, many of them missed the feeling of the sun against their scales. One day, a Rumblehorn, after consuming a specific diet that only happens in the heart of the hidden world, produced the first Dragoncite. Dragoncite, when heated with dragon flame, radiates a heat similar to the heat of sunshine. Dragons heated it up for survival or addition, they heated it up for nostalgia. As a reminder of times long past. Dragons in the modern day do it because their ancestors and forefathers did it

With ^ in mind, this would also lead to many dragons being very eager to soar into the open sky. Finally feeling the true heat dragoncite was replicating. But the loud machines and once familiar now unfamiliar sky intimidate them, for there is no reason to trek beyond their home that has all they need

The initial earthquake that opened the fissure was a quarrel between a Fault Ripper and a teenage Screaming Death. The following earthquakes are the result of the Fault Ripper attempting to close the fissure

The Fault Ripper is a noble species in the hidden world, they are the dragon that create vast caves and paths between the varying realms. Where Whispering Deaths dig to eat, Fault Rippers dig to serve their environment

Jormungandr, as a dragon, is like the hidden world itself. Unfathomably large. One doesn't even realize it's a dragon unless you somehow find its head/tail. One can find oddly rounded formations in the Hidden World that go through mountains and caves. No one would ever suspect them to be the same nor even consider it to be a dragon because the environment and the dragon itself have melded into one. Jormungandr is in a sort of eternal hibernation, absorbing nutrients through its scales in the varying environments of its segments

Treasure Hunters/Poarchers/Hunters trying to head into the fissure to steal either information, creatures from within, or even just Plants constantly try to go in and is in fact an ongoing issue for the research team because these goons are disrupting the natural environment of the creatures and thus tampering with data!

The goons go missing a lot though, and none of their people on the surface know why because even the search parties they send in go missing

(Answer: dragons and other carnivores but mainly the dragons)

Now, I refuse to believe Hiccup would leave so much random shit in the Hidden World and seem to move his young children and wife to the Hidden World and leave Berk to what?? Snotlout??? Democracy??? Anyways

Either Hiccup himself (with Astrid obviously and maybe the other riders), when his kids are grown and managing the village in full, or (again another bias thing my little wrym brain wants) a child of his (maybe a 3th after Zephry and Nuffink? To match with Toothless also having three kids?) is the one who stays in the hidden world and records their findings. Living out the rest of their days in the Hidden World, hoping that their notes will guide the future. They pray to the Gods that whoever finds their notes is kind to dragons and will show them the kindness of the world

The notes are locked in a container made out of gronkle iron and death song amber

Turns out an 80% hay diet - which House Rabbit Society purports as part of what they consider to be the only humane diet for rabbits - may actually be in and of itself actively harmful to rabbits.

"This is what the back teeth and cheek of a rabbit who was feed a 80% hay diet looks like.

the dental spurs caused by the hay are razor sharp and sliced groves into the inner cheek and tounge.

Every bite this rabbit took was agony due to how a hay heavy diet unevenly wears the teeth and causes malocusion.

Pellets are formulated to help prevent this by being the correct hardness. A healthy well bred rabbit does not require any thing special to keep teeth in check they file them down naturally in a motion referred to as " Bruxing".

This is one of many reasons why Hay should be restricted in Rabbit diets , and is not nessicarry when fed a properly balanced complete pellet .

We do not recomend Feeding hay to rabbits as a staple.

Hay is for enrichment and medicinal/transitional use only.

Hay dilutes the nutrients already in a balanced feed regimen, causes dental impaction, tooth spurs, abscesses. Its difficulty to chew causes mechanical maloculsion.

Hay from a nutrition perspective is not easily defined as a base nutrient , with the levels of protien and quality of other nutrients dependent on the individual harvest .

Hay is also a vector for disease, coccidia, mites, RHDV2, EC ,And many other vectors are carried into the Rabbitry on hay.

Thinking about my spidersona:

Small angst; small suggested smut at the end; mostly fluff and comfort. TW: Mention of death, depression, healthy issues, and isolation.

Wish my computer could work so I could draw my Spidersona...😩

🕸 Spidersona, who was bitten by a funnel web spider (💀) and is still traumatized. She takes appointments with Spider-Therapist every Thursday. Spider-Cat helps her copes with stressful memories.

🕸 Spidersona, who's Caribbean and wears traditional superhero suit. Bright madras tissues wrapped around her head and hips and Creole earrings (hoop earrings).

🕸 Spidersona, who was the only Spider-Girl in Nouveau Fort in Martinique (don't look for it, I made it up, but it's based on Fort-de-France) until a certain Miguel "Fat Ass" O'Hara came to enroll her.

🕸 Spidersona, whose best person is clearly Pavitr because we support cultural representation, and obviously because he's the most adorable boy I've ever seen. ❤️ Besides, they usually chat about new clothes they like to embellish their suit and wardrobe.

They even have Indian nickname for each other : Pavitr is Munna (used for pretty and gentle boy), and Spidersona is Choti (used for girls and means small) based on this.

🕸 Spidersona, who loves dancing with Gwen late at night in her home. Spidersona shows Gwen how to move her butt like there's no tomorrow, and Gwen gives her tips to achieve a boneless split. There're also countless sleepovers and "Girls Talk" about boys, which is pretty much awkward at first, but they both like gossiping.

🕸 Spidersona, who has the fattest crush on Hobart "Hobie" Brown, 'cause let's be honest who wouldn't. Always avoiding him when he comes her way. Obviously, Hobie notices, and he thinks she doesn't like him or his style makes her feel uneasy.

🕸 Spidersona eventually confesses that she likes him :

"That's why you've been dodging me, luv?" Hobie rhetorically asks her, his full lips stretching into a genuine smile.

She feels her face heating up and her hands becoming sweaty. "Yeah, but I don't expect anything y'know. Just wanted to tell you..."

Hobie leans forward, and she presses her lips together, gazing down because she never noticed how interesting the ground could be. She feels his breath on her neck, and she shivers when his lips plant on her cheeks fondly.

"You're too cute, luv."

From that day, he's always close to her. His arm rests on her shoulders, and he's never too far when they're fighting anomalies. They both rely on each other when something goes wrong.

🕸 Spidersona, who curses in Creole when she's pissed.

"WHO STOLE MY SALTFISH ACCRA?! AY KOKÉ MANMAN ZOT! LAN DJET MANMAN ZOT! OU SÉ AN SAKRÉ TI ICH SALO-!"

"Wow! Wow! Okay, okay, we got it. That's enough bad words for today, luv." Hobie covers her lips and drags her out to cool down a bit.

Peter B. covers Mayday's ears, though he doesn't understand a thing he knows what she's saying isn't lovely.

🕸 Spidersona, who has arachnophobia, watches Penni petting her spider with disgust (don't get me wrong, her spider is adorable, but I don't want it near me). Miles makes fun of her and eventually chases her with random spider he finds around through the lobby.

🕸 Spidersona, who slips in Hobie's universe to spend some time together. She watches him play guitar on his bed and turns red when he hands her his instrument and sits behind her, his fingers brushing hers as he teaches her how to play.

🕸 Spidersona, who brings Martinican food to Mrs. Morales when she comes to visit Miles. Rio observes her chat with her son from afar along with Jefferson.

"She looks nice," Rio says after a while, still looking at them, "and she calls me 'Mrs. Morales." Her lips turning upward.

"Yeah, definitely Caribbean. Besides, I love these." Jefferson says, grabbing a slice of butter bread she made with her mom, accompanied by communion chocolate.

Spidersona and Miles look at their feet awkwardly, feeling Miles' parents' gaze on them.

"'M sorry 'bout my parents, they're... protective."

"Yeah, don't mention it. My mom does this, too."

🕸 Spidersona, who invites everyone one in her universe in Nouveau Fort. The tropical climate welcomes them fiercely, and everyone change to wear swimsuit. Peter B. applies sunscreen on Mayday and himself and lays down on a towel.

🕸 Hobie and Pavitr bury Miles in the sand, mermaid body in process as Spidersona and Gwen take Mayday to a swimming lesson, her Spider-Man rubber ring assisting her.

"Damn Gwen, you're red as hell." Spidersona hands her Peter's sunscreen, snorting.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny."

...

🕸 After 3 weeks and still no news from her, Hobie and Pavitr head to her universe. When they slip into her bedroom through the window, they find her in her bed, barely breathing. Pavitr rushes to her, worry in his eyes as he brushes her now sunken cheeks. She hardly opens her eyes, dried tears staining her face.

🕸 Hobie takes her face in his hand, caressing her cheekbones slowly before kneeling to be face level with her. He takes her blanket off her, and it pains them to see how much weight she lost. They can clearly see her ribcage under her skin.

As they discuss what to do, they hear her mother's voice in the living room. She sounds exhausted, her voice quavering.

"I don't know what to do, mom. She hasn't eat anything in days and she keeps losing weight. The doctor said we should bring her to the hospital because of her iron deficiency and underweight. Otherwise, her anemia might come back and-" her voice cracks, as she can't handle her overwhelming emotions. The phone slips from her grasp as she falls on her knees.

🕸 Hobie grabs her without hesitation and opens a portal, quickly followed by Pavitr. He mumbles apologies when she groans pain. When they arrive, Hobie pushes open the medical department's door with his foot. Spider Meds are quick to take care of her, using advanced medical tech.

🕸 Spidersona, who wakes up after 2 weeks, looking less of a momified monk. She sees a red-haired baby lying down on her belly. She recognizes Mayday, and Peter B. reaches out, his hand caressing her head.

"We missed you." He says genuinely, worry fading away and replaced by a look parents would give to their child after they injured themselves.

🕸 Spidersona, who just cries. Her pain and grief pouring out of her chest and she can't help it. Peter B. hugs her tightly, kissing her forehead.

🕸 Miles appears and stands still when he views the scene, his brain analyzing everything. He comes close, taking her hand in his, squeezing it kindly. When Peter lets go of you, Miles replaces him.

🕸 Spidersona, who after she calmed down, thanks them and asks where the others are, only to find out that they are on a mission.

🕸 Spidersona, who is surprised to see Spider-Man Noir paying her a visit, flower is his hands.

"Everyone's been worried about you." Miles explains, her hands still in his. "When Hobie and Pav came back with you almost dead, we freaked out."

"Jessica even talk to your mother so she wouldn't pass out when she found out you disappeared." Adds Spider-Man Noir.

She is grateful but also a bit ashamed she worried everyone.

"So... what happened?" Peter B. asks cautiously.

She looks up to him and tries to suppress the tears, creating in the corner of her eyes.

🕸 Spidersona, who wasn't fast enough to save her uncle Henry and faced the reality of the world.

Though everybody can relate, Miles feels like he knows exactly what she feels. He remembers when he found out that Uncle Aaron was the Prowler, the look in his eyes when he discovered Miles was Spider-Man. His hand slipping from his as he exhaled his last breath.

🕸 Spidersona, who spends her day with Miles since Peter went home to put Mayday in bed. She eats empanadas Miles brought for her.

"My mom made them for you. When I told her you were hospitalized, she wouldn't stop asking about you. Besides, since we didn't know when you would wake up, she made some every day." Miles scratches the back of his head; cheeks and ears red. He knew his mom liked you, maybe too much for his liking.

"Well, please, thanks her for me. This is delicious. My taste buds are dancing hard right now." She giggles, making Miles smile.

🕸 Spidersona, who eventually encounters Jessica and Miguel. She thanks the pregnant woman, hugging her slightly, knowing she's not a big fan. To her surprise, she rubs her back and smiles.

🕸 Spidersona, who turns to Miguel reluctantly and apologizes for being off without warning. He brushes her off, as usual, talking about how it was her canon event. Gee thanks.

🕸 Spidersona, who hears familiar voices. She turns around, and there they are : Gwen, Hobie and Pavitr. She launches herself on them, arms fully extended. Pav sees her first and rushes toward her. They both collide, their hands grasping any pieces of clothes, hugging like the world would disappear.

"I missed you so much, Choti." Pav cries, his hands hold her tightly. "You almost gave a heart attack. Don't do this ever again, please. I love you."

And she cries again, hearing her best friend voice trembling.

"I'm so sorry, Munna. I promise. I love you so much, too."

Gwen joins in, her lips quivering, and they open their arms for her to come.

🕸 Spidersona, who wipes her face after a while, then proceeds to notice Hobie, who stayed back. Pav hugs her one last time, then leaves with Gwen. She approaches Hobie, not sure why she feels so nervous all of a sudden.

🕸 Spidersona, who follows Hobie to his universe, their pinky intertwined. When they are both alone in his room, he smashes his lips against hers.

🕸 Spidersona, who feels like a tsunami washed over her: emotions and feelings blending in her core. It's slow at first but quickly bursts into a wildfire when she feels his body against her. It feels strange, and she's a bit insecure, but Hobie reassures her. It's overwhelming.

"Are you okay, luv?" He asks, his voice barely above a whisper, like she'll shatter if he's too loud.

"Yeah. I am."

🕸 Spidersona, who slowly moves on, enjoys her life with those who remain and never forgets those who left.

I made another sims 4 legacy challenge, this is different from my usual content so feel free to ignore if this isn't your kind of thing! :3

Anyway welcome to the Halloween legacy challenge! In this challenge you will play through different typical halloween 'monsters' and complete the requirements for each generation!

-Making your sims the different occults is optional, if you'd like you can loosely make a sim based off the occult but not actually make them that specific occult type!

-you can choose which requirements you'll do since I did include some alternatives if you're missing any packs however

-try to complete at least 6 requirements per generation (unless I didn't include enough alternatives and you don't own a pack)

The packs commonly used in the challenge are-

Vampires, island living, werewolves, cottage living, cats and dogs, realm of magic, paranormal and get to work

I used other packs too but these are the ones I'd recommend if you want to get the best experience of this challenge!
