An idea I had about the Bat fam and what kind of music they would listen to
Alfred: prefers silence but on nights where he needs something in the background, surprisingly, Alfred is a fan of country music, preferint older artists but he is favorable to some newer stuff as long as it isn't stadium country.
Bruce: Old punk and metal, like the kind he heard at a punk bar he got in with shitty ids, in the late 80s high on acid with Harvey, this man thinks Nirvana was great but thought they didn't go hard enough.
Dick: as a child? Show tunes, if Disney put it out this man was humming it while kicking goons asses, later on in life? Dick has blossomed into musicals, but like, the kind your not thinking of, Dick belts out songs from Cats all the way to "Veronica open the please! Veronica open the door!" While banging on Tim bedroom door.
Barbara: Is a major fan of Lo-Fi, loves it since it is music but the lyrics don't distract her from doing her work, will play it in the library when it's slow
Jason: he grew up on the streets and that doesn't get a lot of options to listen to music...except in stores where they play the days top 100, he gets Vietnam flash back during Christmas time and he hears Mariah Carey, after his death and resurrection, he found rap and fell in love, loves all the lyricism and word play, has played Not Like Us on repeat for the last week even after the beef was done.
Cass: hard core death metal...and classical music. She does ballet dances to both. Nuf said.
Tim: as a child he was the kid who ripped fanaf songs off YouTube and played them as his ring tone, he still has those songs in rotation but has added folk punk and really obscure bands he finds with like 3 listeners...also is a fan of yacht core music...
Steph: Taylor Swift Girly, shares Dicks love of showtunes, huge BTS stan (while dating Tim she repeatedly "left" Tim for Jimin when ever they argued...Tim still has beef with him to this day)
Duke: Oldies, I can see him going through his parents old vinyls and tapes after they got jokerized to feel close to them and now he learnt all of Elvis's discography.
Damian; Anime songs. Cried the first time his listend to Blue Bird, listens to J-rock when he is painting, and even though he will try and hide it, he has a secret love for Bollywood music as well, probably was introduced to it while doing an early assassination with the League and kept with it as he left.
(Plus a few that I could think of)
Kate: she strictly listens to Alpha male work out music Playlists, heavy on the dubstep, can and will bench press your body weight to show you that no Chad SHE is the alpha here. (As well as Girl and red and Rio Romeo)
Bernard: listens to fan made game songs, meme songs (has all of the polish cow dance song memorized) chronically online taste, also has worked in kitchens so has a deep knowledge of rap and rock.
Roy: Dad music, loves a good jam sesh rocking out to KISS but because of Lian he now is immune to Baby shark being used as torture.
Jon: is a literal child. He is 12 and thinks that skibidi toliet is the best thing that has graced this world, he will tell Lex Luthor that he has Ohio Rizz, then do the griddy in the air and fly away.

desi tag
i was tagged by @lblis @aurtae @jinseas @2awake thank u my loves okay lets go time to r a n t
1. What’s your name and what does it mean?   my name is Aisha, which comes from Arabic. I think literally it means “she who lives” but my arabic teacher says it also means like “lively woman” so that’s what i’m going with
2. Where from the motherland is you/your family from? my parents are from maharashtra - they grew up in a town right outside Mumbai and then moved to America 10 years or so before i was born
3. Would you move back to where your family is from, why or why not? i would love to visit again, and but I don’t want to move there permanently; my family and my life is established here.
4. What language(s) can you speak? i can speak hindi/urdu, english, french and arabic (i’m not as fluent), i can make myself understood in konkani, and i can understand marathi. for the Desi languages  (hindi/urdu, konkani, marathi) the grammar escapes me sometimes and I can’t read anything except for urdu (and that’s bc of Arabic) but yeah
5. Favorite Bollywood movie?  i haven’t watched Bollywood in awhile but movies i’ll never hesitate to rewatch are Lagaan and Piku. honorary mention for kal ho naa ho because that movie broke my heart and made me aware of my own mortality when i was 6 years old and my older sisters had the audacity to laugh at me when i couldn’t stop crying #funfamilymemories
6. Favorite desi meal? my mom’s chicken salan....or her shrimp salan... honestly any of her food. pav baji, sabudana vada.. idk how you spell it umm shrikhand?? like sweet yoghurt, my mom makes it every year for eid.
7. Where in the motherland do you want to visit? Rajasthan... my sisters got to go to Jaipur but i’ve never been on a long enough visit to do super touristy stuff. anyways it’s just seems really beautiful
8. Favorite desi singer? Lata Mangeshkar, Alka Yagnik, Sonu Nigam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, A.R. Rahman omg my childhood askfjh
9. Describe your favorite desi outfit? i'm sure these are both super out of style now but 1) shalwar kameez with super balloony colorful shalwar or 2) shalwar kameez with churi daar shalwar and super tall high heels. Also lahengas in general
10. Can you make a round roti? i mean like probably but like... i won’t. patel bros readymade parathay exist for a reason. (im sorry)
11. Favorite Bollywood actor? I like Irrfan Khan a lot, and I enjoy a lot of Aamir Khan’s older work (rang de basanti, lagaan, taare zameen par, 3 idiots) rn i can’t remember any of the new generation of Bolly actors rip
12. Favorite Bollywood actress? Deepika, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra gets an honorary mention bc i saw her in Dangal and she was so cute akldhf
13. Favorite Desi in western media? Riz Ahmed, Hasan Minhaj sometimes
14. Strange superstitions you’ve heard from relatives. don’t whistle at night (or ever), otherwise snakes will come and get you. close the curtains once the sun sets otherwise bad things will enter your home. if you’re hiccuping it means someone is remembering you/thinking of you, don’t tell anyone any good thing that’s happening to you to protect from evil eye.
15. Describe your spice tolerance. I mean if we’re talking tolerance it’s high but like genuine enjoyment????? not much. my mom doesn’t cook that spicy.
16. Best street food. pani puri, bhel puri, those snow cones that come in plastic pouches
17. The weirdest question you got from a non desi person. how can i be muslim and from India. i’m p sure i remember someone asking me why i was eating beef if i’m from India smh
18. How do you like your chai? milk, sugar, cardamom and cinnamon!
19. When was the last time you have visited the motherland (if you dont live there)? when i was 11, so ten years ago :(
20. Your favorite and least favorite part of your culture?
favorite:  i like the sense of family and community in desi households. i like the idea that i can go to your house once and then call your parents auntie and uncle and if our families have been to each others’ houses multiple times i can just call you my cousin. i like the vibrancy and diversity of our cultures. i love how song and dance is just kind of ingrained into the culture. (My dad who “hates films” used to not go a day without singing his old favorite songs from the 70s and 80s.)
least favorite:  (copied from the post i made awhile ago) the desi community in general needs to get past the whole “let’s not stir the pot” mentality where individuals care more about what the community folk/relatives say about them than fixing actual problems and this includes silencing people that rightfully call out their bigoted family members to “keep the peace” or show respect to your elders or whatever. like it just means we’re settling into racism, colorism, sexism, homophobia, a fundamental misunderstanding of mental illnesses, and a plethora of other issues because desi communities prize their reputation and their ties to traditionalism above all like. and ALSO for Desi Muslims specifically, we need to stop pretending it’s the sanctity of our religion we’re protecting when we’re being homophobic/transphobic/racist/sexist when it’s really that deeply protected conservatism that’s been socialized into us okay B YE
i’ll tag @kuraepika @winwinwonwon @gothlaws @sitaaras @kwnsyg @jkslibragf also if you read this far down and you’re desi i’m tagging you too k love u

Catching up: part 1. I’m still way behind. Gotta find time to write more before I forget what I did see!
I saw:
One Hour With You- In this pre-code romantic comedy with a few songs tossed in, a happily married couple finds their lives changed when the hubby meets the wife’s old best friend. The bestie wants to have an affair with the hubby, and she will play dirty to get him to stop saying no. On the side, a guy pal of the couple expresses his interest in the wife while he’s drunk and she’s upset with her assumptions about her husband. One of them will give in, but maybe that won’t be the end of their world.
It’s always interesting to see the films before puritanical censorship took over. It’s a light bit of fluff with a happy ending, and yet under the surface there is a sad message that happy marriages only last if both parties accept cheating in some form. No wonder Mom, who got more than fifty years of happy marriage with no cheating before Pop died, muttered.
Confessions of an Opium Eater- Vincent Price, action hero and film noir narrator by way of poetic, philosophical, fortunte cookie mysticism, gets tangled up in a human trafficking industry in very early 20th century San Francisco’s Chinatown that involves selling at auction brodes abducted overseas. And that really does not convey the unusual qualities of the film.
The movie feels like a dream, so much that when a dream sequence does occur it seems almost less surreal than “reality”. Well, more conventional “dream like” than what surrounds it anyway. This is a film where an unexplained horse intervenes during a battle on a beach, where after getting high the hero gets jumped leading to a chase sequence filmed in slow motion and lasting an extended period, where  a guy selling newspapers happens to be Master Blaster from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and when the girls go up for auction the perform individual choreographed dance numbers. And that’s without mentioning things like the curious kite incident I can’t quite even explain to you in a sentance!  When it was over Mom said she didn’t quite get the ending, and I said dreams rarely entirely make sense. And that’s probably why I enjoyed it so much. I have a real thing for dreams and the surreal.
Plus, ya’ know, Vincent Price.....
Random thought: In a weird way the movie kept reminding me of The Wild, Wild, West! The classic series, NOT the movie. I used to love reruns of it as little girl. I had such a crush on Miguelito Loveless.... Not that lovable Artie and Mr. Tightpants West weren’t appreciated ( a lot! ) but...
Um, ignore that last bit. Please.
Anyway, maybe  it was the very 1960s quirkiness in a period action adventure. Maybe it was the use of unusually short performers. Maybe they just used some of the same backlot. I dunno. Something felt strangely similar.
Kung Fu Yoga- Jackie Chan plays an archeologist recruited  to hunt for a treasure lost long, long ago during a bit of Chinese/Indian bonding. It turns out that two factions in India, decendents of those involved with the treasure, want his help. Naturally one side is a nice princess with fighting skills, and the other is a hissable baddie with deadly pets and Bollywood star looks. I winder how this will turn out...
Obviously this can’t be like the older Jackie Chan films. Surrounded by a bunch of younger characters, a little action pressure is taken off our aging hero. A hint of “character stuff” is suggested by the very handsome young man Jackie taught his moves too who believes in a bit of snatch the treasure scoundrelly, but proves not so bad. Not surprisingly given these Chan vehicles, it’s developed much. Globe hopping occurs, adding color. The depiction of India out of an ‘80â€Čs Bond film or something, which might not make it so popular in that country (I dunno...the USA didn’t hold it’s depiction in Rumble in the Bronx against these folks..), seems typical of these films. It feels like a throw back to an earlier era of action films,  only with a comical CGI lion in the backseat during the car chase. It lacks the breathtaking beauty of Jackie Chan stunts  from his younger days, but keeps the wobbly scripts and over all cheerful tone. So it’s fluff, and not particularly  memorable. Nice enough for a brain free night...
The Golden Coach- In this film, directed by a Frenchman in English, an Italian theater troupe arrives in a Spanish colony in South America just as the local muckety muck takes possession of the insanely extravagant coach he ordered. The lead actress has a boyfriend, but soon has both that muckety muck and the local superstar bullfighter as suitors. When the muckety muck tries to gift her with the coach (she had an attachment,  having used it as a sleeping cabin on the voyage from Europe) political outrage and personal tangles boil over. Can the actress find a way out of this mess?
Truly a wonderful film, mixing an utterly lightness and love of the theatrical with a sober awareness of the realities beneath. There is a bluring of the performance on stage and the real world, even from the first moments when we seem to be watching a theatrical production, which turns out to be real...only of course it isn’t real because we are watching a movie... Life is messy for the actress character, but at least acting on stage with a story to enact she can always know her part.
(Sorry. I shouldn’t write about good movies so late, but I’m doing this in the order I saw them. )

Starting next Monday, Sound of Awesome will reveal its picks for the 100 best tracks from the 2000s in a new weekly column. Get ready for the countdown as we explore the genesis of the project and how the naughties became the most eclectic decade of the pop era. As a bonus, you will also find out a few honorable mentions from great artists who just couldn’t make the cut.
Navigation
Intro   100-91   90-81   80-71   70-61   60-51   50-41   40-31   30-21   20-11   10-1
The 1950s saw rock n’ roll becoming a major part of the cultural landscape. In the 1960s psychedelic rock was the new craze. The 1970s had disco, the 80s were about new wave, and the 90s saw grunge and hip-hop sell millions of CDs. It’s a flawed, simplistic and incomplete way to describe each decade, sure, but the fact remains that these are the genres most associated with every one of them.
When it comes to the 2000s though, the portrait is a lot harder to decipher. Sure, there were trends, but each time one died, four new ones emerged.
More than a single genre, what truly defined the 2000s was the growing presence of the internet. Slowly but surely, this new found connectivity helped usher a completely new paradigm of how music would find its way from the artists to the masses. Suddenly, radio stations and music television were not the only ones in control, dictating what is hot and what is not. Platforms like Facebook, Soundcloud and Bandcamp had yet to become the go-to destinations for new acts, but MySpace quickly established itself as a major factor in the musical landscape. It gave new, hip artists a platform to reach big audiences and create a massive buzz without having to play in every city or rely on giant label-heads (see: Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, Owl City, etc.) Later in the decade, the arrival of YouTube meant that creative, viral music videos could bring a lot of attention to an otherwise average band with little money (see: Ok Go). A sign of music’s importance to Youtube, ever since Bad Romance reached 178,4 million views in late 2009, the record for most views by a video on the popular website has always belonged to a music video. Meanwhile, programs and sites like Napster and Limewire meant that teenagers didn’t have to rely on pocket money and 20$ CDs to enjoy their favorite songs, as their iPods and computers’ libraries were expanding in both size and diversity.
Tumblr media
Looking back, it’s easy to believe that, even as the music industry was showing its first signs of weakness on a financial level, music fans were listening to more music than ever. It is precisely this trend that made the music so interesting in the 2000s. With so many different artists from different backgrounds just one shuffle away - from bedroom electroclash experimentation à la M.I.A. or Peaches to garage rockers like The White Stripes or The Strokes, to high profile, incredibly rich (and horny) rappers like 50 Cent or Lil Wayne - it was only a matter of time before genre labels became almost useless. In 2007, Rihanna went from R&B on Umbrella to new wave-informed rock on Shut Up And Drive in the span of few months. The same year, hip-hop’s new sensation Kanye West injected glam rock ambition on his third album Graduation before leaving rap almost completely a year later on 808s and Heartbreaks. The DFA label made punk music for the dance floor while dance artists programmed synths with so much distortion you could throw the devil sign in the air. Scenes were no longer limited to a geographical location and artists were more and more influenced by sounds from across the globe.
If the legacy of acts from the 1960â€Čs and 1970â€Čs is well established, the visionaries of the 2000s are yet to find that praise. Discussions about the best songs of all time steer quickly to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin or Michael Jackson, but it’s only a matter of time before the 00 artists get their part of the cake too. It is with this in mind that I am proud to present to you, through the next 10 weeks, a completely incomplete, ludicrous, but also very passionate and thoughtful countdown of the 100 best singles of the 2000s.
Tumblr media
This is not necessarily a list of the most popular, influential or groundbreaking tracks of the decade, rather a commentary on the most effective tracks; those who aimed for the moon and landed right on top of it, those who induced goosebumps and those who should still fill dance floors in a few decades without any cringe. It will contain smash hits and underground phenomena. Indie darlings and hard-hitting hip-hop. Loud guitars and quiet electronic flourishes. It will be varied and all over the place, just like the decade that we’re celebrating here. It is not a definitive answer, rather the start of a discussion and a good way to discover some great music you might have been sleeping on, back when it was trending and buzzing.
Each article will present you, in decreasing order, 10 essential songs of the aughts from the countdown, with a quick description to place each track back in context and/or justify its inclusion. In order to keep the countdown as varied as possible, acts were limited to three appearances as lead artists. Each article will also include a Spotify playlist of all the songs revealed so far, when available.
100 tracks might seem like a huge number, but it’s impossible to contain 10 years of music in such a list. This is why, as an appetizer for the series to come, you will find below 10 tracks from artists who, despite leaving their mark on the decade, fell incredibly short of making it to the countdown. These do not necessarily correspond to positions 110 to 101; they are just bands and singers who deserved a quick shout-out so that you cannot act like they have been forgotten later on.
Tumblr media
50 Cent - In Da Club
The title of Curtis’ greatest hit reveals exactly in which kingdom he was the ruler in the early to mid-decade.
Aaliyah - Try Again
With the help of mega producer Timbaland, Aaliyah brought R&B to the 22nd Century 100 years early with Try Again and its mix of EDM and hip-hop.
Black Kids - I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You
This MySpace gem remains one of the best footprints of the late 2000’s indie pop rush, cheerleaders included. 1! 2! 3!
Britney Spears - Toxic
Thanks to a killer hook built on Bollywood strings and a killer, sexy performance, Britney Spears’ biggest hit was also her best.
The Cribs - Men’s Needs
If a rock song is only as good as its riff, Men’s Needs is a track for the ages. Frantic and moving, the guitar line drives this UK staple of dance-rock.
Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal
Sure, it opened the way for tons of half-assed, insipid and useless acapella covers, but Fleet Foxes’ dĂ©but single also introduced in just 147 seconds the genius flair the band had for crafting amazing melodies, harmonies, and ageless folk.
Junior Senior - Move Your Feet
With its cowbells, horns, bouncing synths and stutter-like verses, Junior Senior never tries to be “cool” in Move Your Feet. Instead, the band decides to focus on having a good time on a track that feels as fresh after 1000 listens than it did on the first time.
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
The exact moment when we realized that Gaga was a monster that was too big to be contained, Bad Romance features about three different hooks, each more effective than the one before.
Maximo Park - Apply Some Pressure
It would be cheap and wrong to reduce Maximo Park as some Strokes/Bloc Party knock-off; as proven by the energy and creativity of this track.
Uffie - Pop The Glock
Part bratty thrash of a white teen, part genius, 17-year-old Uffie builds her own indie rap empire from scratch and rules it on Pop The Glock.

50 shades of blue - The Maldives!
Travel; travel to broaden your vision and to see what you cannot see without traveling! - Aparna Tiwari
It has been my favorite hobby to shortlist the next possible travel destination  and plan an itinenrary that helps me experience the most without spending a lot. When I make travel plans, I always aim to gather unique experiences and learn local culture. Usually I travel with my husband who also loves to travel and is  becoming an explorer like me ;). I also love to have my friends or family join me on my trips whenever its possible for them. I have also done some solo trips that made me a different person altogether, my other blogs will highlight more details on my solo trips. For now, I hope some people can find this blog helpful and some who has already traveled can share their experiences which will help me learn something new.
About Destination
I chose to start my first blog with Maldives since I feel this has been the best destination out of 14 countries I have traveled till date.
Maldives encompass more than 99 % of the sea and less than 1 % of the land. The 99 % of the sea is home to one of the most diverse marine treasures of the world. Less than 1 % of the land is a masterpiece in natural landscaping. It is located on top of a vast underwater mountain range have around 1190 islands and sandbanks and it is ranked the third most endangered nation due to flooding from climate change.
Maldives is an assortment of various small islands with Male’ being the biggest island and hence capital of Maldives. Any resort or hotel you have chosen to live in will always be on the island other than Male'. To commute to these islands you would require a public boat (called as dhoni in Maldives) or a private boat or a sea plane that can be arranged by respective resort/hotel. Maldives being one of the premium destinations for vacation and honeymoon, resorts/water villa experience can cost you a lot.
Tumblr media
Our choice of stay - the best desicion of this trip
My idea of vacation is always to spend less for the place of stay and spend more on activities and food, hence after huge research on all hotel websites we decided to stay in 2 islands mainly - Mahibadhoo which is a 945m wide inhabitated island 80 kms away from Male’ and Maafushi which is more of a commercial island 26 km away from Male’.
We chose to stay in Mahibadhoo, primarily for 5 days, out of our 7 day trip because we chose to stay with Mazin’s family in his guest house named Amazing Noovilu. I came across this guest house after my intense research on hotels and resorts, and relalized how expensive it is to stay in a resort plus water activities were exorbitantly expensive. We never wanted to spend a lot but we definitely wanted to experience lot of things hence Amazing Noovilu was a reasonable deal and turned out to be the best decision of our trip.
Last 2 days, of 7 days, were spent in Maafushi to experience the commercial side of Maldives ofcourse the former experience was better and undefinable, anyday. We did not do any water activity in Maafushi, since everything was expensive and commercialised and we already did watersports during our stay with Mazin. We chose to stay at the beach and explored the island on rented bi-cycle.
We made this trip to celebrate our 4th Marriage anniversary in the month of February 2015.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Local tastes
We make it a point to always try the local cuisine—no matter where we are travelling. Here at Mazin’s Noovilu we had a great chance to eat local food with his family which we greatly appreciated, specially his family’s hospitality was incomparable. We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by Mazin's wife and sister, this gave us good opportunity to try Maldivian local food. I am unable to recall the dish name which was my most favorite - but in my words it was Maldivian Tuna fish bhurji with hot chapati. We also had fresh passion fruit juice everyday.
In Maafushi we had a lavish buffet, on the beach, which had great spread of local dishes and the highlight was Maldivian styled grilled Tuna over a garden bbq grill.
Favorite Spot
Though every place in Maldives is so beautiful that it makes difficult for us to say any one spot is my favorite. As soon as we landed at Male’ airport we were mesmerised by the beauty and color of water, we ended up doubting if the water could be so blue!
We haven't counted how many shades we witnessed during our whole trip, but if someone is tasked to do so, one could probably count close to 50 shades of blue color in the surrounding (to my best assumption), hence the title of this blog!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is very difficult to funnel down to any one favorite spot out of all the places we visited in Maldives, hence, I would mention  spots that gave us the most unique experience:
1) Snorkelling in the non commercial and pristine coral reef locations where visbility under water can be compared to looking on the other side of a transparent mirror and I witnessed things that I could have never been able to imagine even in best of my dreams - colorful reefs, fishes of different colors, shapes and sizes, sun rays getting inside the sea water making everything look like a fairy land and what not! Life under sea can never be explained in words and it can only be experienced. And to make a difference we also did night snorkelling wich was very unique and scary experience for us.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2) Sand banking -  This was, another, most unique experience of the trip when Mazin took us in his boat in middle of the sea and asked us to get off his boat - it was a little shocking moment for us but we knew we will be experiencing something unique. Sand banking is banking on a small peice of land (about less than 10 meters) under water that emerges out of the sea due to low tide and stays under water otherwise. We were fortunate enough to experience sun downing on this small peice of land surrounded by blue water all around and at the same time enjoying our evening tea.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3) Camping on unhabitated island - Mazin took us to an unhabitated small island and we spent our whole day under small white tent on the beach. If there exists a pure blue color then I would say I have witnessed it right here. We snorkelled around the island, took power naps on the white sand, had Maldivian snack in eve while enjoying sunset and came back home completely tanned which I didnt bothered till I reached back home!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
New Maldives traveler essentials
1) While booking your resort/guest house or hotel make sure to book all inclusive package deal (including food/drinks and commute), else you may end up paying huge for food and your commute specially.
2) Do keep motion sickness pills, you would require these the most since most of the commute in Maldives is on the water and not having motion sickness pill can spoil your journey - this is based on our experience :)
3) Plan your flight timings according to public ferry (dhoni) as they run on a specific schedule. Be mindful of the fact that all public ferry/boats are closed on a Friday - so if you have your connecting flight on a Friday, you will end up paying anywhere between USD 150 to 500 per person, one way, for a sea plane or a private boat, ofcourse sea plane will be more expensive anyday. A public ferry would cost you around USD 30 per person one way.
4) Its a Muslim country so alcohol is only available in 5 star resorts, you cannot take alcohol with you in your luggage so beware and respect this fact.
5) Staying in resorts can be very expensive and water activities are commercialised and can be equally expensive. My personal suggestion would be to spend majority of days in a guest house or less expensive place where you can customize water activities according to your own taste and then take experience of 5 star resorts or water villas which will give you taste of both sides of Maldives, plus will be easy on pocket too.
Overall, an experience to Remember!
Apart from all the activities we did in Mahibadhoo we also spent every night sitting next to the beach in the moonlight feeling breeze and sound of the sea waves, ate Maldivian food with Mazin's family, met Ritchie (Macau bird), saw Maldivian local performance, danced on Maldivian folk song and discussed bollywood every night with Mazin and his crew while sitting in a small and only cafe in Mahibadhoo by the sea. It was an amazing experience to stay in Amazing Noovilu. Maafushi was a short stay for us but we enjoyed exploring the island on bi-cycle and enjoyed our relaxing time on the beach. I usually watch my photos to revisit the beautiful memories made on the trip and it got refreshed again with more details while I was writing this blog.
For all those people who have not visited Maldives, I am sure you will be enticed to book your next vacation to this place before this place submerges under sea and for the people who already have visited can correlate with the beautiful experiences in common.

There are presently an excessive number of specialists now who purchase their own particular music to support their evaluations and get themselves up the music graphs/rankings ... What do you think about the present circumstance in our industry? What would we be able to anticipate from you later on? Would we be able to expect some single or a collection sooner rather than later? Jaz Dhami JAZ DHAMI – "Separating it into a couple of sentences is a little troublesome on the grounds that there's been a long procedure of learning, commitment and forfeit. You need to comprehend I've been on this excursion since I was 9 years of age – do you recollect how being 9 was? Most children go through it playing out with their companions or on their PC diversions, my father made them sit before a harmonium learning. I need to concede in those days I simply needed to play out, and felt desirous of alternate children. However, thinking back now if my father hadn't imparted that teach in me I wouldn't have possessed the capacity to cut my melodic way similarly. So I'd say my responsibility regarding gaining from a youthful age had a major impact in the prizes I'm ready to procure now – on the off chance that I hadn't experienced the thorough preparing that I have, at that point I'd never have the capacity to unhesitatingly perform close by a portion of the nations most prominent symphonies. I was sufficiently fortunate to procure the abilities that I have, that thusly gave me the certainty to try different things with the melodies I've delivered and that has had a major part to play in any achievement that I have accomplished. Music and the way it's discharged has changed hugely. I think the expressive substance and musicality by and large was more grounded in the 80/90's, it's turned out to be so natural for individuals to put music out and expend music – which in my eyes has made it dispensable and the quality general is inadequate. I feel like individuals are pursuing the notoriety as opposed to having a veritable energy for the specialty of singing or making music, being perceived in their neighborhood market has now turned out to be more critical than making something believable. I believe there's a considerable measure of self-sense of self boosting going on yet who are we joking? Toward the day's end, you recognize what's certifiable and so forth. A hit record doesn't need that spot on the diagram, A hit just emerges and does its activity around the globe. Being number 1 doesn't really mean a melody is effective in the Asian business. We see tunes that are number 1 one week, hopping straight out of the outline the next week. I think those specialists purchasing their own track ought to possibly put that cash either into their item or to enhancing their aptitude base. We don't see huge Punjabi craftsmen like Gurdas Maan and Satinder Sartaj topping the diagrams yet they're as yet the greatest visiting Punjabi specialists over the globe – that is a genuine measure of accomplishment. Hitting number 1 with any track is constantly decent however it's not the most important thing in the world, I don't trust that it ought to be the concentration while delivering and discharging a melody. I'm taking a shot at such huge numbers of new melodies with some awesome makers. I'm amped up for the Bollywood ventures I'm taking a shot at but at the same time there's some genuine Bhangra bangers in the pipeline. I have two or three tracks with Tigerstyle who's hard working attitude I truly respect. I've likewise got an extremely cool move floor melody with Punjabi maker Jatinder Shah (meh Punjabi boli ah). I will discharge singles for years to come, that'll ideally prompt a collection." Look at Jaz's most up to date track 'Sithneyan' on Youtube panjabihitsquad Panjabi Hit Squad – "For Panjabi Hit Squad it's dependably been about diligent work and understanding our gathering of people. We have dependably prided ourselves on taking Panjabi music to the majority, regardless of whether it's through our week by week radio show on BBC Asian Network/BBC 1Xtra, performing at celebrations like Glastonbury/Liverpool worldwide music celebration or working with Nike and Apple. The more introduction we give the music and culture the greater it develops. Current bhangra music is for the age now. Individuals make correlations yet it's uncalled for. In the 90's you had one of the 'brilliant era's' of our music. Clubbers were pressing 3000+ to see Malkit singh, Alaap, Heera, B21 ect now the more youthful age have a great deal more they can tune in to. With social media,Youtube and Spotify it implies that music is on request and tastes are always showing signs of change. Panjabi craftsmen need to begin contending with urban music stars to keep music sweethearts intrigued. Two cases of how this should be possible are Diljit Dosanjh and Imran Khan. They both know their gathering of people and are making tunes that sound unbelievable In case you're just constructing yourself with respect to a music graph you won't be here for long. Purchasing your own tunes to get a number 1 isn't right and influences the scene bigly. Mr Blobby went to number 1 in the UK outlines however it didn't make him or his melody any more tenable. Despite everything it gets snickered at as general society comprehends what's great and so forth. How does any Asian craftsman believe that by influencing themselves to look well known (on 1 diagram) will mean they are prevalent, all things considered? We see it week in week out where distinctive tunes go into the best 10 and the following week they don't exist in the best 40, How would that be able to make any craftsman or his/her fan can rest easy? Future is solid. We have quite recently got back in the studio to deal with another collection and begin to create for some astonishing craftsmen, hope to hear more from us throughout the following couple of months. Our radioshow on BBC Asian Network is continually developing so we are centered around ensuring the general population get the chance to hear the best music consistently and interface with different fans" bupssaggu Bups Saggu – "Buckling down and not ceasing! I began off as a bhangra dancer...then turned into an artist.. joined the best Bhangra groups and djs playing dhol in the meantime turning into a DJ and discovering that workmanship. After my degree in bookkeeping, I examined music and creation and once qualified, I joined an aggregate called the Rhythm Shakers. Not long after the arrival of our lone collection, I did my performance venture Redefined which turned into a hit album...the rest you know. Its been a long voyage and now I can state Bups Saggu and his music is established in the Punjabi music scene! Music is form and it will always develop and change. I for one grasp change and acknowledge the world and music for what it is so to me, its significant to move with the circumstances however dependably commend, be greatful and recognize where Punjabi music began and our underlying foundations. I think its wretched ... frantic endeavor for consideration and just low. Music ought to dependably do the talking and one thing you can't purchase is real fan buildup ... theres one thing that a few specialists neglect to get it. Its like conning in a taunt exam for instance .... There is no point as with regards to the smash on your finals...you are in solitude and in the end will be gotten out. I dont overlook it as its not reasonable for specialists that unite to make their music, this circumstance ought to be taken genuinely and ideally in time it will. One thing without a doubt .... Music will dependably win the fight, cash wont! You can expect a considerable measure! Presently including my coordinated efforts I am in twofold figures of tunes that are set to discharge in 2015 and 2016 so exceptionally energizing! I may complete an album...or discharge singles, perceive how I feel truly. A few joint efforts which I am permitted to specify incorporate Jassi Sidhu, Jasmine Akhtar, Mafia Mundeer and a couple of new specialists that i'll keep secretive at the moment ;) Its an energizing year such a great amount of anticipating it! keep your eyes and ears peeled individuals :)" Dont neglect to look at Bups most current track Miss Kaur with Master Saleem, by and by one of my most loved tracks right now and ought to be played at each gathering or capacity! geetazaidar Geeta Zaildar – "Diligent work, spending each moment focusing on my work and having faith in what I do. You can't hope to prevail in any profession in the event that you don't have faith in yourself. I have bent over backward to continue as before as I was before any achievement. I have a little friend network and some of which I went to class with, they generally keep me grounded! Above all my achievement in the music business is a direct result of Waheguru. Music is especially a form, it changes so frequently. Over late years western music has impacted Bhangra, specialists and music makers have adjusted to this exceptionally well. Old exemplary Bhangra is still extremely agreeable to tune in to and a considerable measure of spreads have been delivered with more current music. It's extraordinary that Bhangra is so differing. Lamentably, this is all down to theft being so overflowing in the music business. Individuals aren't purchasing unique music or are downloading from illicit destinations. It's a disgrace that specialists are doing this to promote their vocations. I have confided in my fans and realize that they are the genuine judges of my music and not really the graphs. I am lucky to have such an unwavering and genuine fan following. My collection '302' was discharged not long ago and my all the more as of late a solitary titled LA, both have had a magnificent reaction. With respect to the future.

ÂƓ ... Bob Marley Estimates A Guy With One Thing To Point out.
BĂ©la BartĂłk was an outstanding author of the present day age that composed work with string quartets, huge ensembles, and collection from arrangements for use of younger performers and trainees from songs. The people of India ought to have steps to promote the Indian performers and the typical songs from India and must decide on as well as market the Indian models that can work with India outside India with conventional apparel of India. Amusing trait, my food always appears to appear much better when I possess excellent songs having fun while readying that. My opinion is actually that excellent popular music has a higher vibration, and it raises the resonance in me, in the food, as well as in the space thus certainly every thing will certainly taste far better! The world additionally invites that directors including M.
