9 Fascinating Reasons People Like Aspadol 100
Do you want pain medication that works effectively and quickly? If yes then, you need to buy aspadol 100 mg and take it as soon as possible. It is an opioid analgesic containing ‘Tapentadol’ that acts to relieve moderate-to-severe pain in a very efficient manner.
Also, when you take a dose of aspadol 100 it acts by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord. To reduce the sensation of pain in a significant manner. On consuming an aspadol tab 100mg dose, the Tapentadol in it begins working by enabling the management of a few medical conditions.
These include chronic pain, post-operative pain, and pain associated with certain other medical disorders. Besides, there are several other reasons why the aspadol tab is very popular for treatment of pain. Here is presenting 9 amazing facts explaining the reason behind an Aspadol tablet being a famous pain medication.
A Quick Mode of Action of Aspadol 100 mg:
When you take an aspadol tab 100mg the Tapentadol exhibits its analgesic effects in a quick time of just about thirty minutes. Therefore, ensuring that the individual gets relief from pain in a short space of time with its effect lasting for a long time.
Connection Between Aspadol Tab & Long-Lasting Duration of Action:
Typically, when you take aspadol 100 it provides for sustained pain relief over a longer period of time. This only means that you do not need to take a dose of aspadol tablet over frequent intervals.
Aspadol Tablet and Its Dual Mechanism:
When you take a dose of aspadol 100 mg it works as an opioid agonist as well as by blocking the reuptake of norepinephrine. To effectively enhance pain relief for particularly certain individuals.
Use of Aspadol Tab 100mg Well-Tolerated:
Generally, the usage of aspadol tab 100mg for managing pain proves to be well-tolerated by most individuals. On taking this medicine there is also a lesser likelihood of you experiencing certain aspadol 100 side effects that can be more pronounced with other opioids. Like histamine-related effects. These include itching, rashing etc.
Aspadol 100 mg and Its Unique Ability to Reduce GI Side-Effects:
Usually, aspadol 100 is unlike some other opioid medications which functions in a way that lowers the incidence of gastrointestinal side effects. These include nausea and constipation. Thereby, ensuring that when you take a dose of aspadol 100 mg you experience efficient pain relief. Without suffering any undesirable adverse consequence.
Taking Aspadol Tab Reduces Cognitive Side-Effects:
On consuming an aspadol tablet there is a possibility that you may experience cognitive side effects. These include sedation or mental cloudiness. Therefore, by taking an aspadol tab you provide for yourself pain relief while maintaining mental clarity.

@wikwalker hi sure yes anything to give me an excuse to procrastinate the post i should be writing right now. here are all teh drugs and how to manage them. you can trust me, a drug addict
first of all: https://www.erowid.org/ , erowid always
don't be afraid of drugs, if they're the right drugs, you should do them since they will be a blast regardless and overcoming fear is also good (but outside the scope here)
OK to do as much as you want: alcohol - social benefit greatly outweighs health effects, no reason to avoid if predisposed to abuse since that'll happen sooner or later. what can i say? don't be a fucking dork. when you start drinking, really overdo it as much as possible without dying and get a few real nasty hangovers under your belt so you know how much is the right amount to drink.
weed - innocuous enough to be fine but will make you stupid in the long term. make sure to only buy from a real drug dealer and never some legal institution. cut it out when you're a "real adult". don't smoke weed and watch TV routinely, go out and do things so you naturally grow to hate it. good to go through this as early as possible to minimize the time you spend as a cringe weed enthusiast
i guess those are the only two.
ok to do infrequently (annually): "lsd" - or whatever it is, probably not lsd, blah blah blah, if it works and is sold on blotter its fine and won't make you go nuts or whatever. opt for a better psychadelic imo. see psych rule at bottom of section
mushrooms - better than acid since you know what they are. rule of thumb is to always do more than you think you want. minimum 1/8oz. see psych rule at bottom of post
dmt - if you somehow have a dmt hookup you don't need to be reading any of this. lasts 10 minutes which leads to tendency to way overdo it, don't do this, my favorite webcomic artist is permanently crazy from exactly that. using a crack pipe is also not the uhhhh most dignifying-feeling thing to do either. it's harder than you think.
mdma - for use at electronic music event or rave. overuse causes brain lesions or something.
coke - wait until you're in your 20s, have maxed out your roth IRA for a couple of years in a row, and havent missed a car payment in a similar timeframe. better still if you've worked a very shitty low paying job and know the value of a dollar. if you still find yourself buying candy you're not ready. too expensive to be worth it to get hooked on. know that you are VERY ANNOYING to anyone who also isn't high. don't fuck around with the guy selling it to you. avoid discussing or thinking about business ideas. you can't afford to make it a habit + kinda turns you into a piece of shit after a while, but at least a very interesting one
ketamine - another sick drug that rules, but save it for a special occasion. don't try and go into the k-hole your first time
rule for psychedelics - you get one good strong trip a year and that's it, make it count, always opt for doing a bit more than a bit less. but don't make it a habit, otherwise you turn into a very stupid very annoying "hippy" style cliché and believe in ghosts, aliens, crap like that.
ok to try once prescription opiates/benzodiazepine (xanax), valium, this kind of shit - worth trying so you can go "holy shit, this stuff is way way way too good to ever use responsibly" and then never do again. especially if you're white. for some reason we just can't handle this shit. if a doctor prescribes it to you, idk, that's your call to make.
ayhuasca - this is just dmt in a different form. do some other psychadelics a number of times before you do this. once you realize the whole "substantial visual hallucinations" thing is made up, its time. do exactly this: -buy root online (legal). receive box of dirt -boil dirt into "tea" (read erowid for exact recipe) -take over-the-counter anti nausea medicine or anything that will give you a stronger stomach -drink tea (its nasty as fuck, get it down quick) -have someone bigger than you keep an eye on you for the next five hours. -have the experience, which is absurdly intense, has no bearing to the real world, etc etc. don't be a bitch and throw up, if you do it'll only last an hour or so. again there is no way to provide a consistent description of the experience except that you will meet god. you only ever need to do this once and never again. trust me
peyote/salvia/etc - try em if you want, you'll never ever want to again afterwords. these are drugs for idiot teenagers too lame to get real drugs. imagine being very very sick from poison and utterly terrified at the same time. No good
whippets/nitrous oxide - just find a dentist that uses it and don't bother creating hundreds of pounds of trash on your floor for this crap that lasts ten seconds. you have to understand the extremely short timeframe coupled with the cost makes zero sense. go to a phish concert parking lot and do some people watching -- you do not want to be these people. only use is as a motivator to get routine dental exam. also if you somehow manage to make it a heavy habit your fucking legs stop working, no shit, but they start working again once you quit.
don't ever do heroin/meth/pcp - is is truly a mystery why you should never do these 🙄
synthetic weed/k2/shit from the gas station - it is so funny that they sell this as "weed that won't pop you on a drug test". its not weed. it is some dubious chemical sprayed on yard waste. smoke it to have a terrible time and go nuts. only buy drugs from legitimate drug dealers!
kratom - anyone's guess as to why this is legal but it's heroin for pussies. its still heroin
dxm/cough syrup - do you ever wonder why it is exclusively teenagers robotripping? it's because it sucks ass. is like a cheesegrater on your brain in terms of health effects with repeated usage. you're better than this king
inhalants - these are at the bottom of the list for a reason. do not huff gas. don't huff paint. do not consume computer duster. not fun + fastest way to make yourself a complete, uh, (word i can't say anymore) and then dead
not listed quaaludes- unavailable due to no longer being manufactured. these ruled apparantly
sincis2c - unavailable due to not existing, i just made this up
amphetamines - cannot provide objective take here. they're my albatross, lifelong (posted 4:55am natch)

Am I the asshole for refusing to help my friend out financially after they got a new dog even though they need financial help often and are currently in debt?
Everyone is this story is mid to late 20s.
I have a friend in America who is on social benefits. So I know they don't have a lot of money. I'm also not rich but I earn minimum wage in my country and can afford to pitch in a little sometimes which I don't mind doing generally. I'm also not a big spender at all and I'm able to save up something every month.
In the past I've helped them with buying groceries and even gave them some so they could buy a laptop for art commissions and some games. I don't mind doing that at all. When their old dog got sick I helped out as well. Since I figure some people are going to want to know, in the last 5 years I have given maybe about 2000 dollars.
They got a new dog after the old one passed, which I get. A dog can be a good companion. I did find it a little irresponsible to get a new puppy when they at the time needed several hundred dollars for rent. I told them it might be better to wait until they where no longer in debt with their landlord before getting a new dog. They told me they understood my concern but they got the puppy for free from a friend so it would not be a big deal and they would be able to feed the puppy.
I did tell them puppies can get sick and end up costing a lot more than anticipated but they told me they were willing to take that risk and I decided to not push any further. I had given my opinion and there is not much else I can do. I did tell them not to count on my help financially especially since I had some things of my own that needed fixing and they told me they understood and not to worry.
But then a few weeks later the puppy ate their medicinal weed, which for some reason was within reach of a puppy, and had to get it's stomach pumped and stay overnight at the vet clinic for a few nights.
They came to me and asked if I could help out with the bill and how they would pay me back in part. The bill was over 4000 dollars. I told them sorry but no I can't. First of all, I don't even have that much, I'd have to take out a loan. Second, I warned them this could happen and that I would not be able to help out financially. They seemed a little pissed at that but I just thought it was because of the stress of the situation. They said they would try and get the funds elsewhere and asked me to share it around, which I did.
Unfortunately they didn't manage to get enough to pay the vet and ended up having to give the puppy to a shelter. It's a cute and calm pup so I have no doubt it will be adopted out quickly but it's still sad and I do feel for my friend. But now I'm being blamed for it. I've been getting several angry messages from mutual friends about how I'm the reason my friend lost their emotional support and how I'm the reason they are having a breakdown and suicidal thoughts.
I feel really badly for my friend but I also don't think it's fair to put the blame on me. The reaction from my online friend group makes me feel like I'm missing something that does make me the asshole.

Thinking about disabled AK!Jason tonite with a disabled s/o
Let's be fr this man could/should be an ambulatory wheelchair user but he won't because he doesn't know that's a thing and wouldn't think he deserved it. If you're an ambulatory wheelchair user maybe one day you manage to lovingly bully him into just TRYING it and it is life changing
He uses his ambulatory energy to do Red Hood shit nbd
if he doesn't use a wheelchair he's got at least 2 braces--shoulder and knee
Baby has chronic pain, arthritis, chronic migraines from being beaten
Missing some teeth too
take this boy to your neuro or your ortho!!!! he is totally unaware he does not need to live like this. better living through chemistry
let's get him some therapy too
you WILL have to go to his drs appointments with him. mans WILL freak the fuck out for ANY medical procedure, has very serious medical abuse trauma. if he can see how your drs help you he is much more likely to go if he can see that you are benefiting from your providers and that they haven't harmed you
if you're scared of drs he will FULLY stand behind you. probably not that healthy tbh but he gets it
having a special Migraine Protocol for each of you (it's basically just a snack and a drink, blue light filter glasses, a sleep mask with headphones for that special Migraine Playlist)
make your own pain scales and talk through frequency of pain bc when you have constant or near constant pain it fucks up your ability to quantify it so making your own pain scale is helpful (he probably uses shakespeare plays or authors. like a 5 for jason is twilight, because you can see some problems but it's fun and fluffy but when you start looking closer OH NO SO MANY PROBLEMS)
pain meters on a wall near the kitchen so you can know what you're working with
CBD patches
the AK suit is basically a giant brace/mobility aid so you help him figure out how to adapt it for his red hood persona, how to make it lighter and allow for greater ROM
will remind you to do physical therapy
resistance bands ALL OVER THE HOUSE
learning bodywork techniques
AT LEAST once a week using a special oil or lotion to work into some of his bigger scars to make the tissue more mobile
giving him a back/neck/scalp/face massage
after a while obvi that's a lot of trust he's putting in you
NOT deep tissue. don't hurt him more. you can have effective therapeutic massage without hurting a person
trager work involves basically shaking a limb and letting the weight of the muscle do all the work but it feels weird the first time and he'd just start laughing at you
specially if you do his glutes
but it feels really nice so he stops laughing and it does help his lower body pain
putting magnesium lotion on each other's neck and shoulders
start to ask each other "are you angry or in pain?"
hand massages
teaching him to stop pushing through the pain
one of his knees is basically bone on bone so you always know when the weather is changing
if u both have bad knees u just don't even when the weather is changing. take some pain meds, use your topical pain reliever of choice, prop those joints up and snuggle in bed. watch a youtube series or he can read to you
heated blankets as heating pads supremacy
occasionally he'll be in pain and the kind of pain where you feel like you're going insane, so as a distraction he will go online and buy a bunch of weird pain-relieving gadgets and you'll spend a week trying them out
(sometimes his pain fog shopping spree is blind boxes, or nail polish, or statement shirts)
all of his siblings know to come to your place if they get beat tf up because your medicine cabinet is UNreal
you're about to give cass or steph a Controlled Substance Pain Reliever and you pause "this is technically drug dealing, isn't it? dOn'T teLL rEd hOOD" jason is literally patching them up right next to you
soft blankets
reminding each other it's ok to take it slow
he's constantly tearing into the other rogues for not having ADA accessible lairs (except Ivy who successfully argued that the plants make it ADA accessible which will do. FOR NOW.)
#jason todd#red hood#arkham knight#ak!jason todd#reader insert#x reader#jason todd x reader#ak!jason x reader#my stuff#chronic migraine#dc brainrot#invisible disability#chronic pain#disability#seriously low back trager work has no business being as effective as it is#i miss doing massage :(

Fear-mongering and herbalism
Herbalism is a crucial element for many practitioners of witchcraft, and lately I've seen a lot of fear-mongering in the #baby-witch and #witchblr tags that it's raising some serious red flags. Caution is necessary, yes, but over-simplified warnings against herbs that have a very long history and tradition of safe and effective use can rob people of accessible, beneficial ways to take an active role in their own health and wellbeing.
True: People absolutely need to be cautious about what they are putting in their bodies. True: "Natural" does not equate to "good" or "healthy". True: You need to speak to a medical professional regarding medical issues.
All these things being true do not mean that you cannot find plants that are safe to ingest, and that can benefit your health and support you. You can use herbs safely and you do have the power and ability to find information about them.
I've literally seen posts that say not to ingest any kind of herb because "you don't know what's in them" and "you don't know dosage, so it might harm you".
This lack of nuance is precisely the type of thinking that breeds misinformation and unnecessary fear, as if there is not enough of that to go around! It seems like because MAGA and anti-vaxx folks have been using the line "do your own research!!" so much, people are associating research with... right wing conspiracy theory? Somehow? Don't forget that being capable of doing good research also means being capable of evaluating your sources, and thinking critically about what you're reading.
Here are some of the misconceptions I've come across in the last couple days:
Laypeople can't safely use herbs
Fear of toxicity in herbs is common and rational, but herbs that you can find in your kitchen are food-grade and widely available. You don't need to eat them in enormous quantities to experience their benefits.
For example, thyme can help support the lungs during cold and flu season. Ginger tea is great for minor digestive upsets. These are things you have access to and can provide a safe means of relief.
Local apothecaries are very knowledgeable about where they source their herbs and what dosages are safe. They are also able to tell you if their herbs are pesticide-free, organic, etc.
Where you want to be cautious is ordering herbs online, especially places like Amazon or Etsy where there is no control whatsoever. Even supplements have been found to frequently not contain what they are said to contain, and you really have to do research about the company you're buying from beforehand.
If you don't have a local apothecary, you can still buy herbs online! Just make sure you are using a reputable website such as Mountain Rose Herbs where you can get bulk herbs.
Lesser known herbs require more caution, but there are fantastic books about herbalism and they provide information on dosage and various ways the herbs can be used responsibly. Your local library is almost guaranteed to have several books about herbalism, and if you aren't sure about a particular herb, look it up in multiple other resources to see if their information matches up. You can even find information about many commonly used herbs on WebMD.
Also, don't forage herbs that you plan to ingest if you are not experienced. This is a recipe for disaster, and incredibly dangerous. I'm not going to go into super huge detail about this, because it would merit its own post, but seriously, just don't do it until you have experience. Plant identification apps are not sufficient to identify herbs you plan to ingest.
Herbal remedies cure major illnesses
Herbs can play a supportive role, but it's crucial to recognise their limits. Herbal medicine should complement, not replace, medical treatment for severe chronic conditions. Clinical herbalists are trained to assess what's appropriate for herb-based support and when a situation requires immediate medical attention.
Herbs are not a panacea that will cure every ailment. Every person is unique and any single herb can have wildly different effects on the body. Some people might find incredible relief, while another person may find no effect at all, or may even find an herb doesn't agree with them.
Herbalists think they are medical practitioners
Because there is no federally regulated body for herbalists, people sometimes think it's the wild west out there and anyone can do anything, but that's not the case. Herbalists are not exempt from the law, and no one is legally allowed to practice medicine if they are not licensed to do so. Period. No amount of traditional knowledge changes that.
While the herbalist profession is not regulated federally, there are regulating bodies that are run by herbalists and that set standards for what is expected and permitted. If you search for "herbalism guild Canada" you will find the Canadian Council of Herbalist Associations which has tons of information, and some provinces also have their own guilds. Most guilds will have a list of reputable herbalists that you can access and they have strict requirements for being added to those lists. You can find these requirements on their websites and gauge them for yourself.
Part of training to become a clinical herbalist is knowing you are not a medical practitioner. You are taught not to diagnose people, and how to recognise when something is outside of your scope of practice.
From the CCHA:
9. A registered herbal practitioner will offer interdisciplinary collaboration with other health professionals
Herbalists focus on holistic, complementary care, rather than taking on the role of medical practitioners. A qualified herbalist works alongside them to support the body's systems, rather than attempting to independently treat or diagnose medical systems. For example, they might work with clients to ease side-effects from medication, but they won't independently treat serious conditions like infections.
Herbalists are anti-vaxx and anti-science
The vast majority of clinical herbalists are not anti-vaxx or anti-modern medicine at all, and focus on combining traditional knowledge about plants with modern science. Are there herbalists out there who are anti-vaxx? Absolutely, just like any demographic you can find people who are spouting nonsense, but that is not the norm.
Thankfully, herbalism schools and herbalists are pretty up front with their beliefs. The CCHA has these requirements for herbalists in the guild:
3. Herbalists have an extensive knowledge base combining traditional wisdom and modern scientific perspective [...] 7. A registered herbal practitioner is trained in herbal safety, drug interactions, and possible contraindications [...] 10. A registered herbal practitioner is accountable to a professional organization, must maintain annual continuing education and must abide by professional standards
When I was looking for a clinical herbalist myself, I always checked their website information and whether they were registered with a guild, and what the requirements for that guild were. The herbalist I chose also had a clear section on her website where she stated that she had experience working with people on psychiatric medications.
You can also often find their stance on other things such as LGBTQIA+ issues (such as statements on their website regarding their approach to HRT).
The school I ultimately selected for my education was one that had explicit information about how they integrated new science into their curriculum, and how frequently it was updated.
If you are not finding the information you're looking for, just ask! It's completely acceptable and not rude to contact an herbalist and ask them what their approach is on the things you are concerned about. They will be happy to answer these questions and give you any information they can to help you decide if they are a good fit for you.
Conclusion
Herbalism is not about replacing medical care or promising miracle cures. It's about tapping into centuries-old knowledge and combining it with modern insights. Embrace herbs with curiosity, responsibility, and respect, and you can have an incredible and beneficial relationship with them.
I'm sure there are plenty of points here that I have omitted or not sufficiently covered. I hope readers will take this as an indictment of the author, me, rather than one against herbalism as a whole.

I have multiple favorite characters. They're all equally beloved. I don't get to choose which one of them is on the spotlight - they come and go on their own.
Because of this, I have assigned a personal meaning to each character: this character means have more fun; this character means that keep your eyes on the price; this character means a time of transition; this character asks to rest more. Always works!
A month ago, Dragunov from Tekken appeared on the spotlight (this didn't happen with Tekken 7 so we can't blame the new Tekken being out).
Now, the first time he was on a spotlight was 15 years ago. I was in a horrible place back then. There was a legal mess which, if the shit hit the fan, would ruin the rest of my life. Literally. I wouldn't be able to get a rental apartment, make any new contracts like electricity, phone, internet, buy anything with monthly payments, get subscription services, I would lose part of my income. I was THIS CLOSE to lose it all and the worst thing was that there was nothing I could. I hadn't caused the mess but I had no way out of it either. I even went to a lawyer to ask for a legal help but he couldn't help.
I feared for my life and future, hoping it would turn out OK. What kept me sane was playing Tekken 6. I played it hours every day and always as Dragunov. I even did my art school final thesis of fan culture and Dragunov (I had much fun with a Russian fan who drew really pretty pics of Dragunov and gave me an access to her screencapture collection of Tekken 6 for my thesis)
Then, one day I figured what was Dragunov's assigned meaning; you will survive. No matter what the odds, even if it was the 3rd world war, you will survive and come out alive without any harm.
That's exactly what happened. Took 2 more years but I got out alive, unharmed. It was horrible time. I'm glad it's over.
So, when Dragunov NOW suddenly appeared on the spotlight after 15 years, my initial thought was "WHAT WHAT, WHAT'S THE BAD NEWS??? WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE ODDS ARE HORRIBLE BUT I'LL SURVIVE????! "
Two weeks later, in a span of a week, without any prior warnings:
I got laid off because the company bankruptcy and fell on a social welfare
this happened while the current right-wing government made big cuts to social welfare and housing benefits (so I don't know if I can keep my current home)
while at the same time prices keep getting higher due to inflation
The IUD for anemia treatment came out on its own
Because of that I'm without any help to my iron anemia and the only solution will be hysterectomy in my case; doctors aren't giving those easily (even when needed)
I lost my workplace healthcare which would have been the easiest and the best way to get to hysterectomy
the sudden removal of IUD is causing me horrible withdrawal symptoms
my Japanese friend told me that she's unable to come to Finland this year and has to postpone her trip till 2025 :(((
(which also means I won't get my favorite cigarettes I smoke for fancy treats a few times a year because I can only get it from Japan - ordering tobacco online is illegal here)
noticed that wasps had made a nest to my balcony (that's being taken care off)
couldn't attend a free(!) ice-cream tasting for a feedback and for a free 15€ gift card because of the IUD withdrawal symptoms
found out that trains aren't operating normally and my home station is under construction and causes some issues
So yeah. He wasn't lying. It's been so bad that the first thing this morning when waking up was to take stomach medicine and have a smoke. And I'm not a smoker.
Horrible times are up ahead but I trust that I'll survive out of this phase just like I did 15 year ago.
(:::з」∠)

I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't absolutely desperate, I have problems with accepting help.
"I never thought I'll be doing this, but I've reached the most desperate time of my life.
For two years now, I've been unable to work because of extreme exhaustion. I've gone through multiple tests, which proved nothing, so the doctors ruled it's a result of my mental health.
Thanks to my multiple mental health disorders, I've been found elegible for disability pension, but just the lowest level. Right now, I'm living from state benefits that barely cover my rent, I get my food from food banks.
The problem is that for the past year, I've been suffering from worsening joint pains. Again, multiple tests that proved nothing yet, but I can't walk at this point. I can't even go to the shop or pick up my post, and food or medicine delivery is expensive.
It will take three more months for my disability pension to come, but that won't even cover my rent. Due to all of this, my mental health is deteriorating, and I'm also losing things that I need to replace, making mistakes that cost me money because my brain is so overwhelmed.
If you would find it in your heart to make a small donation just so I could buy some food, I would be extremely grateful. I don't share much about my condition online, but if you wanted to contact me to make sure I'm a legitimate person, below is my blog address."
Thank you! ♡

can I ask for soft tannie hours? maybe how they take care of you when you’re ill 👉🏻👈🏻
it’s the perfect time for soft hours, omg 🥹
namjoon has looked up your symptoms online, and he is not sharing the results of that search because the internet has confused your cold with cancer, as it is wont to do. despite that, he’s made a list of all science-backed at-home remedies you could benefit from and is doing his very best to make the various soups, juices, etc. that he’s found, knowing that this is not at all his strong suit. they taste a lil off, but somehow, you’re feeling better already 💕
seokjin has you set up on the couch and is not allowing you to lift a finger, so don’t you dare even think of moving. he’s in full mother hen mode — nose itches? he’s got you. hot water bottle is only lukewarm? he is ON 👏🏻 IT. 👏🏻 he says laughter is the best medicine, so you are now dealing with 2x the usual amount of bad jokes. he’s kinda right though??
yoongi isn’t smothering you. for the most part, he’s letting you rest, but you can see him every time he walks by the doorway, slowing down and blatantly peering in at you while pretending not to. he’ll swoop in with fresh tea whenever he spies your empty mug from a distance, and he won’t say a word about it. it’s a drive-by delivery. don’t make it a big thing, okay?
hoseok turns into the proxy you didn’t even ask for. your to-do list? done. apartment? tidied. he’s busy rescheduling whatever standing plans you had so you don’t have to bother. you’ll have to ask him to take a break and lay with you because the man is on a MISSION, and he will make your life easier if it’s the last thing he ever does.
jimin is not sick, but he’s got some sort of sympathy cold from worrying about you, and now you’re both laid the fuck out. thankfully, you’re capable of taking care of yourself because this boy is a lump. he will need to be surgically removed from your side. oh, you’re taking a bath? scoot over; jimin’s coming, too.
taehyung is sick because he didn’t listen to you when you said you can’t kiss him while contagious. however, that hasn’t stopped him. he’s out at the pharmacy, texting you questions because he doesn’t remember what you needed; and once he’s told, he doesn’t know where to find it. he comes back with multiple impulse buys because the cute nonsense purchases either reminded him of you, or he thought they’d cheer you up. they do.
jungkook went to run errands for you and got distracted. when he finally comes home 1+ hours later, he doesn’t have the thing he was meant to get, but he does have a shit ton of comfort food. he then drops on top of you like a human blanket, scrolling through tiktoks and explaining why they’re funny. they’re objectively not, but he is, and that’s what matters. very cozy, too. 10/10 space heater.

do you have migraines or headaches, and are you poor, have shitty/no insurance, doctors who won't listen to you, or just don't want to waste hundreds of dollars on an appointment? well, i went to a neurologist and received this piece of paper which i probably paid way too much for, so you can have it for free.
American Headache Society Complementary and Integrative Medicine Section: Patient Education Kit for Migraine (Recommended Supplements for Migraine Prevention) <- link
the supplements may or may not work, but either way this should save you time and money. you can buy these supplements at most drug stores or online.
below the cut i'm adding a transcript of the pdf in case the link breaks.
stuff my doctor told me:
i should take magnesium glycinate, riboflavin, and CoQ10
magnesium glycinate should be taken at bedtime
didn't recommend feverfew for me, can't remember why
if these supplements don't help, the next step is prescription meds which include Nortriptyline, Topamax, or Emgality
Nortriptyline is an anti-depressant, if you're already on an anti-depressant then don't take this
Topamax is an anti-seizure med also used to prevent migraines. it can make birth control pills less effective
Emgality is administered once a month with a self-administered shot (something like an epi pen). this is what my doctor recommended I take if the supplements don't work. it specifically targets the migraine receptor, so it has very few side effects
PDF transcript:
AHS Complementary and Integrative Medicine Section: Patient Education Kit for Migraine
Recommended Supplements for Migraine Prevention Dietary supplements are commonly used for the prevention of migraine. The recommended supplements have all been studied and found to be effective in the prevention of migraine. If you are pregnant or have other medical conditions, please check with your physician about whether you should take these.
Magnesium
Mechanism: Important in energy production, muscle and nerve function, and may play a role in cortical spreading depression, which is an underlying migraine mechanism.
Evidence: Two large randomized controlled trials found magnesium to be beneficial for migraine prevention.
Dose: 600mg per day. Some people prefer to start at a lower dose to ensure tolerability. Formulations include magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, magnesium citrate (better absorbed than oxide or sulfate), and magnesium glycinate (less likely to cause diarrhea than other formulations)
Side effects: May cause soft stools or diarrhea, but could help constipation.
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
Mechanism: Involved in mitochondrial energy production, which may play a role in migraine
Evidence: Five clinical trials, including one large randomized controlled trial, have shown positive effect on migraine.
Dose: 400mg per day
Side effects: Turns urine bright yellow/orange and may cause diarrhea.
Feverfew
Mechanism: Parthenolide, the active ingredient, may prevent migraine through its vascular smooth relaxation and anti-inflammatory properties.
Evidence: Four out of six studies showed benefit for migraine prevention
Dose: 50-300mg twice daily
Side effects: Nausea, bloating, and mouth ulcers. Feverfew can cause uterine contractions and is not recommended during pregnancy.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
Mechanism: Involved in energy production and helps maintain mitochondrial integrity.
Evidence: Two randomized controlled trials showed benefit over placebo.
Dose: 300mg daily (can be split into 150mg twice a day)
Side effects: Insomnia, fatigue, nausea, or diarrhea.
Other Supplements Butterbur demonstrated benefit for migraine in two large randomized controlled studies; however; preparations may contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids which are toxic to the liver. Due to safety concerns, butterbur was removed from the market in Europe and is currently not recommended. Melatonin and the combination of folic acid/B6/B12 have mixed results for migraine prevention.

you're into homeopathy, right?? i find the internet is getting worse and worse at being able to find homeopathy writings from actually half decent sources. and it's really annoying bc we use it to help out with medical stuff for the guinea fowls when avian vet things are still in their infancy, and my grandma is the most knowledgeable in the family but i think mental health stuff has been influencing her intuition and idk what to do for her but also i really want to learn as holitic healing fascinates me. so where do you find yours?
In a sense, yes. More like I hate taking more pills and drugs than I need to since I've been having them heavily on and off since I was ten years old and it's taken a toll on my digestive system, and so I turned to some more natural remedies in my diet, and recently I've taken a dive into herbalism history and theory. The most I know is about herbalism, really, and just the things that are good for certain ailments. I'm no expert at all, so I'm always looking to other sources.
So, for holistic healing, or for looking for a place to start in that direction, I recommend several things from how I've gone about it in my experience:
Start online with any questions you have about foods/drinks. For example, you want to know the health benefits of chamomile or chamomile tea (the latter, in my view, being the best way to consume it anyway, and many sources agree), so you search it, and you also find out its uses. I recommend going to sites like healthline and Dr. Axe (I mostly use and trust healthline though, and I recommend always seeking out more than one source). Always seek the more medical sources, in my opinion.
If you don't know precisely what foods and things to begin, I would usually start then with a problem: ie. "foods to help with anxiety" and go from there (you'll see chamomile come up, as well as green tea (I'm very into tea-related remedies particularly)).
Go to your local library and borrow books on homeopathy, herbalism, and other related topics. You don't need to overload yourself -- I've only just started with herbalism books since I had the seeds of knowledge about it and wanted to expand a bit out of curiosity (I was led down the rabbit hole when looking into paganism and witchcraft, funnily enough).
Some towns have a specialty business for alternative medicine, or you can occasionally find what you're looking for (say, bottles of ginger pills or something) in a regular pharmacy. Otherwise, many ingredients are things you can find in your supermarket or garden, and be incorporated into dishes and brews.
As you seem to know, a fair amount of this tends to be passed down as families have their own variants of "home remedies". I know of one where my yiayia would use vicks but apply it to the sole of your foot before putting socks on to help with colds, and occasionally things to do with potato slices at night in your socks, or lemons in your mouth for other things -- I could ask her about it, but I haven't since I mostly have stuck to other things I know (I am not ready to coat my feet in goop). And I think everyone knows the eucalyptus steam trick for nasal congestion. But anyway, I would recommend asking someone whose knowledge you trust. I'm also lucky to know a few pharmacists, and I tend to check with them on everything, just in case. A pharmacist I would trust over a doctor in terms of medicinal cures, and I would encourage you to check with them at the counter on anything if/when you buy.
Anyway, I will always most strongly recommend books on the subject. Get a few so you can cross-reference the advice and information. Trust your gut as well, weird as that may sound. Know the herbs that can have adverse affects, try to stick with the safer items first. Definitely just learn more about how your diet affects your health holistically.
And that's all I've got! Hopefully you got something out of that, idk if my advice is all that good. Please don't sue, I do not claim to be an expert in anything at all. Homeopathy is not quite my area, I just think of it as "things humans can eat or drink that benefit their health" and work off that.
#homeopathy references#herbalism#learning and just starting out#keeping in mind that I'm still learning too#and I resort to books because I consume content easier that way#but I am also always skeptical of all information I read#I like to be careful#books are good but they're also not the final say on anything
