a/n: hey!! so few days ago bella reposted the photo of them like a spider man ^ and i had this idea, there are few changes, like bella’s taller than reader, they are not famous obviously, and they are still british, but live in queens, so does reader but reader’s ethnicity isn’t mentioned.

also!! this is an au! you can imagine it as one of the spider-verse if you wish to (that’s how im imagining it) but it’s up to you <33

summary: you found out your partner is the spider-man everyone is interested about and not just a regular teenager as you thought.

you always thought that you had a pretty average life, and you did. you were going to local high school/college, you went to house parties with your friends and you had a partner, who you loved and who loved you.

and there you were laying on your bed scrolling thru your instagram looking at all the posts updating about the local superhero spider-man.

no one really knew who it was, no one knew if it was even a man but no one would guess it a teenager from queens.

as i mentioned before, you were doing basically nothing when you heard a knock on your window.

you almost jumped from your bed in shock but when you looked to the window’s direction, outside you saw nothing but dark night and noisy New York City.

you would go back to your previous action if you didn’t heard that sound again. this time you were sure it wasn’t just in you head so you grabbed the nearest thing- a hair brush, and put it in front of your face in a protective way.

you expect anything, a confused bird, witch on a broomstick, kidnapper or even a fucking alien but not this. not the superhero in a red costume, named after an animal you feared the most.

THE spider-man was outside of your window. at that moment you thought nothing could surprise you more, but hell you were so wrong.

the person just pulled their mask down, and at that moment your heart stopped. it’s not a middle aged man, it’s not another rich dude who became a superhero, it’s your partner bella.

you were staring at the window for good minute while bella was waving at you and signalising that they want you to open the window.

when you kind of pulled yourself together you slowly opened the window, still taken away a bit.

“hi.” they said with a little apologising smile.

“hi.”

“i-i can explain, all of this”

“i’m listening” you weren’t as confused as you were moments ago, now you felt more angry because they’ve been lying to you.

“okay, so- i kind of was bit by a spider- radioactive spider and since then i can do this” they started explaining and then shot a web right from there wrist at the direction of your door - “and this” they continued as they sticked their hand to the ceiling and crawled around a little.

“how long have you been this spider-person?” you asked knowing that spider-“man” has been around for few moths at least, but you wanted to hear it, you wanted to know why they didn’t trusted to enough to tell you sooner.

“a year” they almost whispered with a guilty face.

“a year?!” you almost screamed but luckily realised, that your parents are downstairs, soon enough.

“i’m sorry i didn’t tell you, i know i should have, but-”

“but what? am i not trustworthy?” you cut them before they could finish their sentence.

“no! of you course you are, i-“ and as they were speaking they slowly walked closer to you.

“if you knew, it would put a target on your back, which is the last thing i want, i love you and i’d never forgive myself if anything happened to you.” now your waist were completely hugged by two arms of theirs and they were resting their forehead on yours.

“even now it’s dangerous for you to know but i’m gonna do everything i can to protect you.” they finished as they gently kissed your lips, while stroking your waist.

the kiss made you completely forget what were you mad about so you dived more into it.

moments after you both pulled away in the need of oxygen but still kept your faces close.

“so you’re a spider-man, huh?”

“yeah, most girls would kill to be at your place” they smirked.

you let out a sarcastic gasp and pulled out of the ��hug’, so you could touch the place where your heart is.

“oh really? just so you know i’m still mad at you for lying to me.” you made a fake insulted face at them as they chuckled.

“guess you don’t want this then.” they said as they leaned out of the window to grab a plastic bag that was there the whole time. you leaned your body closer to them in a curiosity and your eyes brightened when they pulled out your favorite food/sweets.

“so this is the biggest advantage to date spider-man?”

“no you haven’t seen the best yet.” they winked at you as they handed you the meal.

I hope all is well with you, Soup. Not sure if you've gotten more info about your health, but I've been thinking about you. If you feel like answering, can you talk about nicknames/terms of endearment your characters have for each other? Not just for the couples, but obviously those too. But like, does Vince have something he usually calls Jonah, and vice versa? Or only when they're annoyed with the other, or at some other particular time? Only if you have the time/desire to answer, of course. I know I've been kind of needy, lol.

I thought I didn't have any nicknames between my characters, but then I sat down to answer and realized I actually do!

(about my health, thank u for the well wishes. I'm still waiting for my appointment day and going slowly crazy over it urgh)

"Honey" is how Vince and Wendy call each other and they save that exclusively to one another.

"Babe/baby" is my universal nickname and all my couples use it with each other, as well as they use that with their friends. Wendy tends to call Bella "babe" and Bella has called Leo "baby" in more than one fic.

Bella calls both Vince and Luke "big guy", but mostly Vince.

Vince only calls Bella "beautiful"

Everyone and their mother call Leo "kid/kiddo". Vince, Wendy and Jonah call Leo "blondie" when they're being sarcastic. Sometimes Vince calls him "goldilocks"

Very rarely people will call Bella "ginger/red", but when it slips up its normally Vince or Jonah.

Vin calls his younger sister "bambi", which is both meaning the little deer and a simplification of the italian "bambina" which means girl.

Jonah calls all the girls "darling", but only when he's worried.

Only Bella calls Luke "Lu", which is a derivative of latin languages that tend to shorten the name to the max.

If Bella is feeling particularly corny she'll call Lucas "mi luz" (my light), and it started as a mockery but has stuck around.

Leo calls Jonah "angel" and Jonah is starting to call him that too.

Everyone calls Leo "Casper" given how white he is.

Bella sometimes calls Luke "gringo"

Bella is the one that calls Wendy "Tink" the most, but Luke has called her that before. Mostly other people call Wendy the full "tinkerbell", but Bella shortened this like she shortens everything.

If Luke is feeling veeeery cheeky he'll call Bella "Isa" because he knows it makes her flustered. It's not a name he uses in bed! It's a family nickname and that makes her feel like a teenager.

Jonah is the only one who calls Wendy "Dee" and he only does that when feeling horrible/super thankful and in a rush.

Jonah gets very VERY snappy if any man calls Leo "baby" in front of him (he bites Vince's head off in a fic because of this).

Jonah and Luke both call each other by the surname if they're particularly prickly that day. Atwood/Banks.

Bella calls Luke "handsome" when she's feeling frisky

Vince has ALL the old fashioned nicknames for Wendy, including "doll" and he hasn't tried "baby girl" because of its bad reputation, but give him a few years

Lucas full names his friends/SO when he's pissed. "Isabella Atwood-Martinez!!" / "Vincenzo Monacelli!!!". Vince does this too, but only with the guys.

"dude/man" is a mandatory nickname in the group.

Lucas calls Wendy "ma'am" because he likes how it makes her blush.

Leo has Wen saved in his contacts as "Wicked Witch of the West"

@theartfuldodger26 Your post made me laugh (in a good way) so I had to write something based off it but I don't know if I'll ever finish it so I've decided to just post what I have instead of condemning it to Notes app purgatory.

OG post: “So, there're three options for the teenaged Bella/Tom dynamic. Bella is hideously bigoted towards him and he completely ignores her (until they fuck), OR Bella is hideously bigoted towards him and he is extremely cool with her (until they fuck), OR Bella is hideously bigoted towards him and they argue often (until they fuck).“

Bellatrix Black takes it upon herself to be hideously bigoted towards the sole half-blood (maybe Mudblood) in Slytherin House. Tom Riddle can’t risk detention, so he chooses the cloak-and-dagger method to get back at her. Why do they care so much about each other’s opinions, anyway?

Of course, the last thing Tom Riddle should be doing right now is messing with the blasted Head Girl.

For one, the whole school (except him) is terrified of her, and for very good reason. Bellatrix Black is a witch of formidable power, great intelligence and pride, and a furious temper. And if she catches him placing a very nasty and elaborate curse on her favourite quill, he’ll be the next subject of her ire. That will lead to a duel, and Tom can’t afford to have a detention on his perfect record. All the same, he can’t let her insults go unpunished.

She started it, Tom thinks, shaking his head. She always does.

Last night, before they went on patrol, Tom accidentally knocked her bottle of ink over, and she took it upon herself to leap from her chair to call him a ‘filthy, lying, thieving Mudblood,’ in front of the whole common room no less. Red had swum before Tom’s eyes as she ranted about how disgusting and dirty he was, and how he didn’t deserve to be at Hogwarts, much less in Slytherin House, eyes flashing, and it had taken every ounce of his composure and even Occlumency to keep his lips pressed tightly together, bite his tongue, and ignore her. Oh, how he’d itched to tell her it was her own fault for leaving her ink unattended at the very edge of the table, or, better yet, to challenge her to a duel.

And then, he’d headed deep into the dungeons so no one could hear him, and screamed, just so he could blow off enough steam to have some patience left for their patrol.

One of Bellatrix’s younger sisters, Andromeda, had given him a sort of guilty look upon his return. But that did absolutely nothing to quell Tom’s fury.

And so, here he is, indulging in a fit of petty revenge, that scratches an itch neither Calming Draught nor nicotine ever can.

No one, not even Abraxas Malfoy, gets under Tom’s skin the way Bellatrix does, but he can’t let her know that she has that power over him. And given that Abraxas is three years Tom’s elder, attacked him at night, and made it his personal mission to make Tom’s life hell as soon as he suspected Tom to be Muggle-born, while Bellatrix has only gone as far as to be over-the-top verbally abusive, that doesn’t make sense.

Maybe it’s his increased exposure to Dark magic over the years. Irritability is the most well-known and common side effect.

No use pondering it. He speaks the last bit of the incantation, then stands up slowly and quietly. It’s three in the morning, and everyone in the girls’ dormitory is fast asleep. Tom, having grown up in an orphanage (thank God he doesn’t have to go back, ever again) is well-versed in the act of sneaking around without rousing anyone from their slumber.

As he tiptoes towards her bookbag to replace the quill, Tom notices that the curtains around her bed are not fully shut. He glowers at her sleeping form — long, thick hair splayed out across the green pillowcase, a slight frown on her forehead, her mouth slightly open. The thought of hexing her in her sleep doesn’t cross his mind — cursing her items is one thing, but attacking an unconscious person is just cowardly and therefore utterly below him. Instead, Tom’s mind finds itself drawn to the surprising thought that, when she’s not insulting his supposed blood status, Bellatrix Black is actually quite beautiful. He has to confess that he never understood what Mulciber and the others were on about during their girl-crazy phase (upon reflection, they’re still in that phase). But now, he feels the cold-hot-cold fire of hatred mix with… something else unknowable, as he stares at her.

She stirs a little in her sleep, and Tom freezes. Why didn’t he think to use a Disillusionment Charm?

Luckily, she falls back into a deep sleep, and Tom hastily makes his escape. When he shuts the door between him, he’s sweaty and breathing hard, cold adrenaline racing through his veins. His legs feel shaky.

Silently, he makes his way back to the seventh-year boys’ dormitory, where the sound of Mulciber’s snoring instantly embraces him. It’s late, and he’s got N.E.W.T. Transfiguration with Dumbledore in the morning, so Tom gets into bed, pulls the sheets over his head, and hopes for dreamless sleep.

The ambient sounds of the dormitory are the first thing to greet Bellatrix in the morning, before she even opens her eyes. For some reason, she had a strange dream last night, of a figure looming over her.

Probably nothing. Bellatrix doesn’t go in for all that Divination nonsense, anyway. Her N.E.W.T.’s are coming up; it’s expected that she would experience some symptoms of stress.

As long as I do the House of Black proud, she thinks, sitting up, locating her hairbrush, and attending to the knots her hair has accumulated from tossing and turning all night.

By the time she is done with her toilette, her hair is glowing with a glossy sheen, her tie has been done up, and her Head Girl badge neatly pinned to her robes. She points her wand at her perfume bottle, lifting her hair from behind her ears as it hovers there, dousing her in a light cloud of scent.

She’s the first to leave the dormitory, some of the other girls still asleep, their curtains still drawn shut. No matter, she can take points later if necessary.

The seventh-year Slytherin boys are just ahead of her as she slips out of the common room and into the dark dungeon hallway — the Head Boy, Tom Riddle’s soft, silky tenor carries further than the deeper voices of the others, and Bellatrix sneers at his unpleasant accent besmirching the halls of Hogwarts. He sounds like a barrow-boy, and when they pass the group of boys, she makes sure to tell him exactly that.

“Who do we have here?” Bellatrix places her hands on her hips, and advances forward, everyone but Riddle shrinking back. “Riddle, I was thinking,” she adds sweetly, “with the way you sound— don’t you have apples to sell in a wheelbarrow?”

Some of the boys behind him titter, hurrying to suppress their laughter.

But Riddle ignores her, as usual, not even blinking, the corners of his mouth and his eyebrows perfectly steady, though he shifts his feet uncomfortably, as if to attempt to hide his shabby but nicely-polished shoes. Bellatrix looks him up and down again, scanning him for more faults — she has no idea why riling him up amuses her so, but she’s not one for self-denial.

She can’t fault the rest of his appearance — his robes, like his books, may be secondhand, but everything is folded and creased and ironed impeccably; even the Head Boy badge is immaculately polished and gleams in the light. Not a strand of his jet-black hair is out of place, neatly gelled back, and not a hint of five o’clock shadow is visible, which is more than she can say for most of the seventh-year boys.

It is then that Bellatrix realises she has effectively been ogling Tom Riddle, who stares back at her impassively. How she hates that impassive, cold stare, made even worse by the innocent sloe-eyes.

“Nothing to say?”

He shakes his head slowly and deliberately, and then breezes past her without a word. Bellatrix turns on her heel as she watches his retreating back, her blood boiling.

She will make him break. She knows how to push everyone’s buttons (but not his, apparently). She will make him snap, like when he duelled Abraxas in their common room in the fourth year, his glorious rage and (though she loathes to admit it) sheer power intrigued Bellatrix, and, by Morgana, she will see Tom Riddle’s composure break again, and she will be the cause and witness.

Yes, she thinks, as she enters the Great Hall. She will push Tom Riddle, that hateful, dirty Mudblood, right to the edge, and find the true source of his mysterious power, that he definitely shouldn’t have.

They have a meeting in a few minutes, but she’s early and he’s proud of her. He snatches her jaw hard and pushes her back against the table, kissing her all the while. She tries to warn him that they have a meeting soon, but he’s drunk off her bloodlust. She doesn’t seem to mind, especially when he murmurs in a low baritone that she’s a dreadfully wicked little witch. She smiles into his kiss. He hoists her up onto the table easily and she parts her legs to let him between them. His hand slides beneath her scandalously short skirt and between her thighs, immediately reaching for her underwear. He slides his fingers beneath the fabric to feel wet heat there, and she moans like a harlot against his mouth to the feel of him. Her moan makes him so hard his cock physically aches. His own mouth is covered in her lipstick. She didn’t realise she should charm it to stay in place today, she didn’t think they’d be making out like teenage Slytherins on her sister’s dining table right before this meeting. He unfastens his breeches beneath his flowing robes, and slides up the next few inches of her skirt as his mouth finds her throat to place bruising kisses there. Her underwear are no obstacle and her leg hooks around his hips. He’s about to commit, ready to sheath himself within her welcoming warmth when she gasps, her fingers on his shoulders tensing. He glances to her face and realises she’s looking past him, dark grey eyes fixed on a spot beyond his line of vision. He glances over his shoulder and Abraxas, Lucius and Narcissa are all stood at the door, their faces red with embarrassment as they quickly look away and murmur frantic apologies. He’s in half a mind to tell them to leave but today is important. He’s thankful for his billowing robes at least, but he puts himself to rights with a wave of his hand. Bellatrix hurriedly pulls at her short skirt as though it’ll make it longer. She slides off the table and her heeled boots meet the floor. He captures her before she can disappear and cups her jaw. He kisses her again, deeply, meaningfully. He’s making a point. What does he care for their embarrassment? He’s the Dark Lord. If he wants to fuck his most beautiful, devoted, wicked little witch on a dining table, he will. He’ll claim her on it after the meeting. He gestures them over lazily, and Bellatrix slinks off and into her seat at his right, dazed with need and want.

The room fills fast, each bow to him and take their seats. Abraxas, Lucius and Narcissa won’t make eye-contact with him. Bella shoots him a knowing look as she realises, trying not to smirk. He smirks for her and calls the meeting to order.

The slytherin common room was a delicious little retreat away from the blistering cold just on the other side of the window. Outside, the wind howled with abandon and wet snowflakes blanketed the view, making it hard to even make out the night sky. Inside the students were kept warm by the crackling fire place in their heavy winter robes, hot cups of steaming tea warming their fingers. Bellatrix Black lay quietly, lounged on the sofa beneath the window with her head propped up. Several books on "Defense Against the Dark arts" stacked on the floor neck to her, an open book rest at her knees while she scribbled notes down with an unusual rapid speed. The hottest music of a defiant crowd in the Wizarding world at the time played. Heavy guitar and drums. It was new and exactly the kind of thing a pureblood teenager's parents would absolutely loathe. Bellatrix loved it for that reason alone. The gentle acts of rebellion she could indulge herself in without letting what was important slip from her grasp. Rodolphus sat in the arm chair next to her, enthusiastically fixated on his own studies. They didn't speak when they were working. Unlike most, the pair had very real goals that they knew they'd need to dedicate their last few years at hogwarts to in order to acheive. Deja Vasilyev, a russian witch in Bella's year who was new to Hogwarts that year entered the room and Bella's gaze rose from her books to the interuption, watching as Deja sat herself down and began speaking to Rodolphus in a thick accent. Deja had chestnut hair, hazel eyes and rosy cheeks. And one hell of a rack too. She smelled like sweet cherry blossom. At first she spoke to Rod about the upcoming test, but it didn't take long for the conversation to become much more personal, and Bellatrix looked at her fiance with an amused half-smirk, rolling her eyes. Yes she'd seen this many times before. It never ceased to amaze her how much these girls took to Rodolphus Lestrange. Sure, he wasn't bad to look at. But was that truly all it took for a man to be desirable? For all Deja knew he could have been a total imbecile. But Bella said nothing, observing the scene before her silently from behind her books, paying close attention to how Rodolphus reacted to her. "What are your plans for the rest of the weekend once you're finished studying?" The russian girl asked, her eyes shining and a big, inviting smile on her lips. "Tomorrow night a few of us are visiting Hogsmeade to see the light display!" She explained, excitedly. "I've never seen it before, only heard of it. I've only just moved to England this year. Afterwards we'll stop for butter beer! I wondered if you'd like to come with." She was so wonderous and hopeful, and innocent. So genuine. it was sickeningly sweet. Finally, Bellatrix spoke up, lowering the book before Rodolphus had a chance to reply. "That's a very nice offer. I'm afraid we'll likely spend the rest of the weekend ravenously fucking." Bella said casually, not breaking eye contact with the the other witch. "Every which way. Doing things you've never even read about." Deja's eyed widened before her face flushed deep red. "This time of year can be very stressful, you know." Bellatrix continued, there's oh so much at stake. Helps to even things out." Bellatrix licked her lips, closing her book and sitting upright. "But tell you what, if I can fight him off of me for long enough, I'll send him right to you. How's that sound?" Bella smiled and tilted her head curiously. @rodolphus-lestrangex

Sawyer Hale and Beau Eris (@threedeemensional @thewikiplayer)

despite the literal universes worth of separation, against expectation bea and sawyer manage to somehow cross paths in the multiverse. After musical rebels Bea and Bella attempted to save Sawyer from his terrible dad, they quickly became friends with him once he was safe and sound. There, Bea and Sawyer's relationship became one of best friends, before eventually becoming pining, and later romance. Sawyer and bea are a bit clumsy, considering this is their first time in a committed relationship, but their love is true and genuine. They both make each other better while also very much enabling each other's silly gay wrongs (a few crimes here and there). They love each other at their worst and best.

ONE ANSWER. they're the poster children of committed teenage romance. Highschool sweethearts that Last. They're not perfect and they're very clumsy, and they're still trying to get the hang of this, but clumsiness is just another beautiful part of it. Sawyer makes Bea braver and Bea makes Sawyer softer. They represent escaping the prom venue to sit on a hill under the stars instead; realizing how hard you've fallen when you see the other playing happily in the rain; cracking jokes in flower mazes; appreciating their beauty in the light of the TV screen, tuning out the movie. Teenage Romance. and i think that's really cute

Janis and Anon (@end-orfino)

They have a very long history, starting as a weird friendship in first grade. While said friendship started out as Anon trying to convince Janis to join the cult that was controlling their town (that Anon's fam was a huge part of), Anon went through a hell of an arc over the years and by the time they were teens they managed to have a healthy, although secretive relationship. Later on they had to separate due to Janis deciding to run away from said town, but after some heavily traumatizing events influencing both of them Anon followed her steps and they had enough luck to reunite at an abandoned castle in the nearby woods. Right now, around 9 years later, they're known as the two 'witches' who live in said woods that scare off anyone who comes near. Due to everything that happened to them and all the times they had to rely on no one but themselves, their relationship has some hidden issues related to being too dependent and attached to one another, but it's fixable so long as they'll manage to hear each other out and put in the effort to change for the better.

TL;DR: They've known each other since they were kids and witnessed each other grow and change, starting off a relationship they had to keep hidden in their teens. They supported and protected each other as best as they could through harsh times, and right now they live together in the woods with an urban legend surrounding their existence. They have some issues that can allow for their relationship to be called a bit unhealthy, but it's not beyond saving.

They have a great backstory that I struggle with getting out of my head. They went from a slightly false friendship to a genuine friendship to lovers. They were ready to sacrifice anything for each other, from letting one go in hopes that she'll find a better place for herself to killing a much bigger threat just to make sure that the other was going to be safe, even if they didn't think they'd ever see each other again. They managed to get through thick and thin with each other and have attachment problems. They practice magic together enough that they perfected ancient tricks that haven't been used for centuries. They're the perfect example of something living in my head rent free and I'm obsessed with these two. They're SO great and I love them and I hope others will like them too :)

Also if this is going to help anyone, their relationship sometimes feels similar to that of Jenny and Sophie from TWF and Raeda from TOH? I'm strictly talking about the vibes I'm getting from these duos, they weren't really inspired by them directly.
