Blitz - She was just a day late for the applying for the grand prix in Sonic riders, she watched the whole thing from the stands and it was amazing, the very next one that was held she made sure she got to race though it wasn't against sonic or jet she raced to her hearts content and won.

Bella - Cream met her while she was playing at the playground, one of the kids asked her if she was a bit too old to being playing with them and she got offended saying you are never too old to play.

"Chalk" - In our AU Silver is a time traveling version of a discontinued era we made a part of our running storyline, Silver originally is Shadow and Rouges son but his timeline got corrupted and he was forced to flee it, in that world Silver had a sibling who i never gave a proper design so here is Slate, Shadow and Rouges other offspring who Silver doesn't know survived the fallen world how? i do not know.

Am just sitting here thinking, quite normally about how Bella probably calls everyone darling because 370+ years is a long time and there's lots of names in there. People like you less, want to spend time with you less, if you mess up their name more than once. Calling everyone darling means she has the best chance of remembering the important ones and not getting them wrong.

Just had a dream about Bella Swan who was a duck hunter in Minnesota.

I’ve never duck hunted, or been to Minnesota.

I have read the Twilight books but that was because I was grounded and had nothing else to occupy my time.

It was an odd dream.

I suppose you could attempt to visit the Feline Tree of Life and see if you can gain access. They all have a door that responds to the blood of the Gods which you have. I don't know if it'll reject your blood and refuse to open, though couldn't hurt to see." Bella was sure if there was information about the Trees of Life, they'd be in the God Rooms in said trees.

"That would mean you'd have to convince Rosa since one of the Iron Palms most sacred jobs is keeping the Feline Tree of Life safe, or you could attempt to go over their head and talk to current leader of Feline Country, yet they'll most likely tell you to talk to Rosa." Scarlett knew the royals only trusted the Iron Palm with matters concerning the Tree of Life.

"I don't think I've ever heard Tree of Life used so much before. Guess it's an opossum thing since we don't have one." Poppy was trying to make a small joke to keep the mood light, though it did make her wonder if her anti-magic would just fade away the longer she stays here. Most likely not, though an opossum can dream of a life past thirty. Though her attention went to Gardon entering with some maids behind him. Everyone taking their keys that they were handed.

"Though opossum's don't go anywhere near our Tree of Life. Well, it's more of a stump now. No one who's ever gone there has come back the same. Not sure what crazy stuff is going on, though I'd say stay far away from there." Poppy was sure the area surrounding it had all sorts of crazy stuff as that stump produces a tone of anti-magic from what people gathered from a distance.

"Mr. Gardon, how come you don't have dinner with us?" Lily suddenly asked seeing as Blaze saw him as family, and family should eat dinner together after all. "There's plenty of room, and my family is super nice."

"Oh, I'm sure he just has a lot of work to still do Lily, though perhaps your mothers and Gardon will see if they can find a way to work him into this family meals." Scarlett was sure there were many reasons, though simply wanted to shift the topic away before Lily started asking too many questions and putting pressure on Gardon, Blaze, and Poppy.

She doubted Jean had even considered Poppy and Lilly's unique condition. though also knew his method for creating the food was unique since he didn't create it from thin air. While she didn't know the full process or how it worked she did know it required materials and more or less he converted the food from raw materials to cooked. Though obviously there anti-magic must have messed with the magic binding and made the food taste off. Though she was just guessing, she'd need to tell Jean he'd need to fix meals from scratch for those two. She doubted he'd mind as he did enjoy cooking but his magic simply sped things along.

" hmm, yes i suppose your Anti-Magic can't completely unravel Jean's ability. Perhaps the way it functions? but it must effect the flavors... I'll have to talk with him later about it. See if we can devise a solution. "

She explained as she sat back in her chair tapping her fork against her chin in thought.

" Poppys condition is really only known to the priests, gardon and myself. So i doubt Jean realized and... i never thought to inform him. But considering the short time between our arrival and this meal he hardly had time to prepare something proper "

At least the rest of the family seemed to be enjoying themselves. If nothing else they'd know for next time. Though it likely only gave Scarlett more fuel for the fire. Still they could worry about that in the future she told herself. She hoped it didn't bother Lilly and Poppys bellies any more then just flavor though. Nor sour them to future meals prepared by Jean.

Though her focus did travel to Bella as she explained that the magic here felt different somehow. She hadn't considered that, it was more likely in her mind that Flora was so far away drawing from it was like pulling on a rope to cross a river. It would take a greater effort, though it was possible to retrain themselves to draw on Sol's magical source instead, she did believe it would take some adjusting and she didn't know if it would change there lucky stars in unpredictable ways.

" Ah, no it's more complicated then that i fear. You are likely trying to pull on Magic from Flora itself as you always had. But Flora exists in a space and time different from Sol so, it's like trying to pull it through a sea of gelatin. I fear you may all require some lessons on Sol's magic and how it operates. I also can't say what effect that might have on your own magic. I suppose Poppy and Lilly will be the least effected by this for obvious reasons "

Blaze had hardly finished her explanation when the door to the dining hall opened up. Out from it came Gardon flanked by 3 other Koala's each in maids uniforms. They looked very down to business as they put there hands behind them and stood at attention. Gardon smiling as wide as the grand canyon as he to stood at attention!

" Greeting's! I am Gardon! I am Blaze's Retainer, it is my duty to care for the palace! see that things are tidy, and insure the ship runs smoothly as it were. It is my pleasure to announce your respective rooms have been fully prepared! Each of you will be given a key to your room please be sure to not misplace them! "

He motioned to the two next to him who walked around the room giving each family head a small crystal etched key.

" Additionally should you have any special needs, requirements or concerns you may relay it to the staff who will deliver it to me directly. It is my aim to insure your stay is a pleasant one! however with all that said, i have had certain areas of the palace marked with special red carpet, these areas are restricted for your safety as well as ours. "

He gave a low bow to the family

" I thank you for your time, and when your meal is concluded the staff will show you to your respective rooms! Good Day and i pray your trip was a pleasant one "

"Not sure you're ever gonna be able to take em home, but least they swing by," he said as he went back to checking over his fishing pole. Spending time in the woods with Jerico had become a new part of the routine to get to know him without the pressure of an enclosed space. "You and Bella gonna pop by for Christmas, or just gonna do your own thing? Maya planning on making you cookies, promise they'll be edible if a little funky lookin."

My dive into the UK band Spiritualized continues. We posted about their new album, "Everything Was Beautiful" back in April. I've been listening to "And Nothing Hurt" for a couple of days. "The Morning After" might be one of my favorite songs of the year (even though this album was released back in 2018). "A Perfect Miracle" sounds like a cross between The Kinks and The Delgados.

It's difficult to find bands who make consistently great music over a long period of time. I mentioned The Flaming Lips in the previous Spiritualized post, but now I would add The Velvet Underground, Luna, Yo La Tengo, and The Chills. This album mixes up so many moods and hits on all of them.

This was released by Fat Possum Records (U.S.) and Bella Union (UK).
