Grand Demise of Civilization are set to release The Blaze of Abaddon, their fourth album of Epic Hell Metal, on June 4 through Ordovician Records. The album will be available on compact disc, cassette, and digital formats.

A lyric video for the album's first single, "Silencer," is available at youtu.be/q_Tg-yxwqaA. The song is also available on Bandcamp.

Formed in 2008, Grand Demise of Civilization quickly became a notable fixture of the Minnesota metal scene. Playing a brand of blackened death metal both melodic and brutal they garnered attention for their speed, intensity and precision. Typically long-form, their music pulls the listener into dark epic worlds. They released their debut full-length, Black Goat Apocalypse in 2009, proceeded by Repent of the Sentient Being (2013) and Below the Feet of Kings (2019).

MURA: We're four mixes into the new year already can you believe it!? Můra is from Prague, Czechia and they play DEATH/DOOM METAL. That's what this first track from their brand new EP is. HELLISH GOD: Now we're got satanic DEATH METAL off a new release from Italy. These two dudes make music in the style of bands like DEICIDE, KRISIUN, DIABOLIC, and the like. Turn the volume up to 6.66 and let the evil chaos sounds wash away your sins.

EVIL IN: It's a back to back two piece band set with this DEATH/THRASH METAL from Massachusetts. It has a grave stink quality to the sound I enjoy. Bloody knife reaper with axe ready to thrash out in the death storm of the ruins ahead on this uncredited cover art.

GRAVE ALTAR: Over to the UK next for some more DEATH/THRASH METAL. We're deep in the crypts of the angels now and there is no going back! Satanic skeletal axe warrior on the cover art is credited to the band and coming to chop off your head!

OTTONE PESANTE: Now for something totally different we've got INSTRUMENTAL DEATH METAL from Italy featuring drums, trumpet, and trombone. This whole record is a concept album about ancient warfare or something? They claim to maybe be the first "brassmetal" band around but I don't know that I agree with that. Still very cool experimental METAL.

GOAT RIDER: Get on your goat and ride it till the hooves come off with this BLACK/THRASH METAL from Costa Rica. Blasphemy made fun and exciting in the old street punk style!
