The beauty of my soul is worthless to virtually everyone because it's not enough to have some beauty in the soul. I'm aware that I'm not inherently unlovable, but if only parts of me are lovable, I can't consider myself a whole person, or someone who can be loved as a whole. Some have tried to convince me otherwise in the past, they have flattered me, tried to comfort me, or complimented my looks, my attire - but where are they now? Their absence proved my point. You can speak all kinds of languages and acquire all sorts of skills - in my experience, if something's wrong with your head and, by extension, your heart, you're out of luck. It determines the value others see in you, because they only see what they can use you for, not love, not companionship, not something they want to commit to for life. I'm a ghost. Everyone sees right through me.
