Frequently mixes multiple scents of hair conditioner into one, to create New and Unique Scents that are inherently ephemeral because he won’t have the precise mixture available to create them again. Despite this, ends up smelling like gunpowder literally within 15 minutes of showering.

Itachi: Only uses scentless shinobi-grade soaps designed to minimize presence due to anbu training. Really wants to use strawberry-scented shampoo just this once, but, has too many mental hurdles preventing him from letting himself use it. Despite his desires, frequently criticizes Deidara’s choice in soaps. They’re just not practical, Deidara.

Pein: Loving, reverential care for Yahiko’s body, with lots of very high quality soaps and oils. Real body last showered a week ago, it’s fine. He’s fine.

Konan: She likes the same kind of scentless shinobi soaps itachi does because of their general high quality, but also puts perfume into her paper flowers because it does not matter if she is detected because she can and will squash her enemies like insects. Does not have the same hangups itachi has and will occasionally treat herself to peach-scented bodywash.
